"solid gym"
"This gym is okay"
"Service was not good"
"Decent enough if you’re a UIC student on the west campus, but not without its frustrations"
"Overall a solid gym"
solid gym. you can get most everything done. the hours of the gym could be better especially for people that like working out late night or super early. But overall it’s a very good gym. It’s clean, most people rack their weights, not too much chit chat going on, it’s just a good place to get work done.
This gym is okay. It's not big at all, but it's a great place if you want to come in for a quick workout before/after class. They offer some free group classes too. It gets pretty crowded during peak times & you might have to wait for available machines. Swimming pool is only a lap pool.
Service was not good. Asked two different servers for second round of drinks, never delivered. A friend was was billed a pool table deposit and also a fee for it's use had to wait 2-3 business days for deposit to be refunded on card even though it was the same as fee.
Decent enough if you’re a UIC student on the west campus, but not without its frustrations. Sometimes the hours change suddenly and there are no signs forewarning you so you can plan ahead to build in a study break; if you’re here at the
Overall a solid gym. It has a couple basketball courts, a pool, and 2 or 3 racquetball/squash courts (sorry, I don't know the difference). It also has a walking track and a separate running track. This gym is meant for people who want to
Has equipment and good to get a good workout but so is planet fitness. East campus gym is slightly better for advanced lifts or power lifting. As a student with limited gym options and finances this place gets the job done though.
I work and workout here! Offers excellent facilities and services for anyone from IMD or UIC. The managers and staff are super friendly. Overall Its a very positive atmosphere to be in. Highly recommend.
Smaller and quieter than SRF on east campus but that can be nice. The facilities are good as well. The only thing is sometimes the pool has been closed here, but its a good facility
Equipment isnt maintained too well, missing some key lifting equipment/a lot of the free weights are too busy while they have way too many lifting machines that are hardly used.
I am giving this center a five out of five stars based on the level of professionalism and the approach they have when it comes to fitness and health of their clients.
Very clean and well maintained fitness center. Feels a little smaller and slightly congested center. But great staff and good equipments makes it good experience.
Super convenient and always staffed by the nicest individuals working in the west campus. A huge asset to the medical district community!
Much less crowded than the east campus. You can workout in peace here. The pool isn't much interesting though. Just a regular lap pool.
Usually quite during morning. You can find most of machines for your workout. Staff always try to keep it clean and organized.
SFC is a usual spot for me. The facilities are clean, staff is friendly and helpful and they have all the equipment I need.
The gym is classy with all kind of equipments. Also it has a pool, racketball , basketball, boxing bag, running space etc.
Lots of essential accessory machines missing from the gym. The gym on East Campus is better for my workout programs.
As it is for students, mostly it is packed during regular hours. Would suggest going there early in the morning.
You get what you pay for. The women's shower stalls are not very clean. Some of the drains are always slow.
Good place for a workout. Especially quiet during the mornings, which I find to be extremely convenient.
Nice facility convenient for working out if you work or go to school at uic wish it was open 24/7
It’s usually quite these days due to covid. Best time to go would be early morning. Great staff.
Been going for over 8 years. Quality equipment good service and they provide towel service
Great gym. Never too overcrowded and they have a pool and sauna. Staff is friendly.
Great place to work out, the amenities are great but can be a bit dirty sometimes
Well equipped gym with a pool and spa. You need to pay $10 to get one day pass.
This place is awesome, but sometimes the staff are not competent with bookings
Good facilities, but the gym is too small for the amount of people that go!
Workout machines are in dire need for an upgrade. But it gets the job done.
Was a member for a while it's a good gym equipment is pretty up to date
Nice cozy place to exersice , plus they have everything you need...
Twin'in! B'ball with the twins'. What a Great time! ❤ …
This gym isn't as infested with UGs as the gym on the east campus
Always a great gym! Lots of equipment for any type of exercise
Good price. Offer all basics which one would need for fitness.
Great gym! Wish the hours went later on Sundays though!
Great place to workout with state of the art equipments
Was looking for a gym... Found so much more than a gym.
Great gym. Decent facilities, friendly student staff
I worked there.... Nice place to work and work out
One of the best and affordable fitness centres.
Not quite a bare bones facility but close.
Less crowded in the late evening time.
Swimming pool is pretty good and cozy.
Lots of equipment for a good workout.
Good place clean and well lit …
Great swimming pool. Cordial staff.
Great gym, spa and swimming pool
Not as crowded as east campus
