I would not trust these guys with my hard earned money not a chance in hell. walked in to get a quote for a few supercars for my wedding. For starters the placed looks hideous , it is located in the back street of Richmond and it give you the feeling you are walking in a chop shop which didn't make a good first impression and to top it off the guy that you will deal with or the guy that i spoke with is a young arrogant dark asian fella that cannot speak a word of english to save himself. Then you will have him smoking in the showroom whilst you are trying to picture your dream wedding day with those cars and that is the guy selling it to you. No offence but he looked like the dodgiest business man i have ever seen. All the cars seem to be old and run down. They are full of scratched and inside they smell and look like a second class runaround car. I hope this review makes you wake up boys and pick up your game. The cars should be fresh and always smell good and look presentable for customers. I would not trust my bride to get in one of your cars for the only reason that by the time she gets out she will smell like them. And please let the asian dude have his smoke and get a couple of girls that nicely they will greed you and make you feel welcome. That fact that you are running such a business from such a dodgy looking place doesn't help at least improve your presence. I will take in this instance the horse and carriage over your cars. Now how sad is that

I recently finished a drive with my wife on the Great Ocean Road and have to say it was one of THE BEST weekend experiences I have ever had. I was very nervous about self driving a sports car on a weekend away and also unsure about getting value for money from hiring one of these models for a few days. I can assure anyone considering this experience that it is very worthwhile and the guys at Unique Car rentals were brilliant to deal with. Rob answered all my emails on the same day I emailed and was extremely helpful during the whole process. Both Benny and Rob were really friendly and helped calm my nerves so I wasn't a shaking wreck driving the Ferrari F360 Spider out of the garage and off down the great ocean road. I would highly recommend this car as well for anyone looking to drive an old school manual rather than a paddle shift semi automatic. It's the real deal and being convertible was a bonus. If you are considering doing this then I absolutely recommend this company...From my research they were the best value rental cost, best value included kms and best value additional kms as well. I will be a repeat customer in the future without a doubt!

$10,000 FRAUD COMMITTED BY BENNY LAM ON CREDIT CARD THAT HAS NOT BEEN RETURNED IN 9 MONTHS!! DO NOT rent a car from Unique Car Rentals! On Sunday the 17th of July, I rented the Audi R8 from Unique Car Rentals (photos and date stamp attached). At the time of pick up, Benny asked for a credit card to take a $10,000 deposit to secure the vehicle. When I asked Benny the process of returning the vehicle and funds, he simply said "it is a holding deposit, we dont actually take the money" - DO NOT MAKE THE WRECKLESS DECISION OF TRUSTING HIM AND GIVING HIM YOUR CREDIT CARD! After returning the vehicle on Monday 18th of July, I checked the bank statement to see the $10,000 was deducted as a payment. It is now April (9 months later!!); Benny has still not refunded this amount back to me. After reaching out to him countless times (to which he sometimes answers or responds), he mentions the same excuse each time "i am waiting for my bookkeeper" or "i am on call with my bookkeeper" and not returning the money i am owed. DO NOT TRUST THIS MAN WITH YOUR BUSINESS AND YOUR MONEY!

I strongly advise against renting from Unique Car Rentals, as Benny Lam has proven to be a fraudulent individual. Like many others who have been affected, I made the mistake of paying a security bond for the rental vehicle. Despite my persistent calls, messages, and emails, the company continuously failed to return my security bond, making empty promises along the way time and time again. To prevent others from becoming victims of this scam, I will publicly expose their dubious practices and take further steps to report the issue to Google and Facebook, urging them to remove the company's online presence. Benny, your disgraceful actions leave no room for justification, and you should feel deep shame for your conduct.

We booked the Ferrari 360 Spyder for a Wednesday morning to Friday evening Great Ocean Road trip as part of our honeymoon. We dealt with Robert Parr who was hugely helpful and very friendly. (It's worth noting that 1 day hire is 24 hours so the Tuesday night to Friday night hire we had originally planned would have been 3 days hire). Whilst we had the car we treat it as if it was our own. We spent a long time inspecting it before taking it and getting lots of photos - triggered mainly by a negative review we read online. Ultimately though we found the team really really flexible and understanding - and the assurances about being relaxed, that they gave us when we took the car, were honoured when we returned it. I previously hired the Lotus Exige S for my dad as a birthday present and he absolutely loved it and still talks about it months later. We spent the day in the Yarra Valley driving all the amazing roads and even stopped off at a winery for lunch, words can not describe how much fun we both had on the day and it truly was a once in a lifetime experience. I had to provide a $3 500.00 hold on my CC when we collected the vehicle which was released well within there instructed time of 48 hours. I had read negative reviews about other companies in the past however I'm happy to say you have nothing to worry about with Unique Car Rentals. The family also just organized for Christmas two Drive Day vouchers for my Brother and Sister.

Highly recommend if you are looking to self-hire exotic, rare and luxury cars! The garage had an awesome selection of cars, ranging from supercars, like the McLaren 570S and Lamborghini Huracan, to classy cars like the Bentley Continental and AMG tuned Mercedes. I hired the Maserati Quattroporte GTS for my wedding day and took some incredible photos along the beach. I got this as a gift for my partners 30th birthday - 8 luxury cars to swap between, morning tea, 3 course lunch at a winery and I got to be his passenger. We both had the absolute best day! Wasnt just the cars that were great - we had to change the date a few times which Benny was more than happy to help with and on the day Rob, Taylah & Rami took amazing care of us. Very well organised and and you can tell these guys love their job. It really shows. Even though I was a little car sick (which im prone to get when i try and read) I still give this day 5 stars. Great experience renting a lotus exige for a 2 day roadtrip, service was spot on and Benny was super informative and very flexible when we requested last minute changes. it makes a world of different when you are planning a big interstate trip with a million logistics to manage! We rented a track(ed) car so we knew what we were in for and Benny was very upfront with everything - the interiors were clean (don't expect immaculate), light bumper scuffs and light rattling at high speeds. If you are concerned, request for more information or photos - this didn't impact our experience one bit. It was an extremely fun car to drive.

Unique Car Rentals is the best possible choice in Australia for exotic vehicles. We hired out the Lambo Aventador for our wedding. The vehicle was a dream to drive and was delivered with excellent detailing. We were looking for a couple of cool cars for week long trip around Tasmania. Robert and Benny were awesome. They delivered the cars to Hobart for us, before time. The cars were in great condition, very clean and our group loved the experience. No issues with security deposit. If you are looking for an exotic car to rent, these are the guys!

I did a drive experience which my partner bought for me as a present. It was a very average service place looked very unprofessional like a chop shop washing cars in the middle of the showroom while servicing clients. Great selection of cars on the upside but cars seem to be extremely run down and poorly maintained.

Tucked away in the back streets of Cremorne, Unique Car Rentals has a wide selection of sports and supercars, and provide a range of experiences. The guys are helpful and obviously passionate about cars. If you're not a lawyer, banker or Sultan, this is a relatively affordable way to experience a supercar.

I'm not too sure if these people understand what it means to run a business? My first impression of this business is that the staff/managers are extremely unprofessional, rude, arrogant and very short sighted. I hope my shared impression is a warning to anyone thinking of dealing with these amateurs.

My interstate trip was ruined by this unprofessional group . They held my bond money for 5 months without any reason. After legal demands and Victorian Fair trading getting involved I finally got my money with no apology or communication.

Like others have said, this company takes your money and doesn’t give it back! Do not rent their cars, unless you are willing to forget your $2k-$10k bond!! And, don’t forget to add in extra for solicitor fees! Shame on you!
