"This is like the 5th time I’ve tried to come to the post office at 1:30 and they were closed"
"Worst customer service! I arrived before 11am which is there lunch break"
"Same concerns as everyone else"
"I wish I could give this location 0 stars"
"Well first of all, the place is never open! On Mondays they don’t open until noon! Unheard of! Plus, they take their lunch at off hours and shut down the store for hours at a time! Plus, the staff is incredibly rude with the exception of one man! I honestly don’t know how this is even a legitimate post office!"
This is like the 5th time I’ve tried to come to the post office at 1:30 and they were closed. I asked an employee about their lunch break and they said I should expect them to be closed between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. for lunch. The sign only says 11-12. They are clearly taking advantage of the system and nobody cares to stop them.
Worst customer service! I arrived before 11am which is there lunch break. I was packing my box and the employee was rushing me. She told me they are closed and she should have already locked the door. I was filling out the label. And she said just give me the address so I can speed up the process.SMH! I walked out at 11:03am!
Same concerns as everyone else. For a location that's barely open when people need it as is (hope you don't have a job...open hours are basically the same time most people work, not even open for lunch breaks). To compound it, when you DO make time to go there during the posted open hours, it's randomly closed for no reason.
I wish I could give this location 0 stars. Every time I come they are “on a break” but never post when they started their break so there’s a line of people that wait forever and end up giving up. I’ve come at 3.. at 430.. they’ll take a break til they close at this location. Also the most unhelpful, rude people.
Well first of all, the place is never open! On Mondays they don’t open until noon! Unheard of! Plus, they take their lunch at off hours and shut down the store for hours at a time! The lady with the short hair at the counter always helps me out with my orders. She is very kind and straightforward and knowledgeable. I have never had an issue coming here so it saids they are close for lunch 11-12pm it’s on the door. This is my go to spot when I need to get a lot mailed off.
Only one postal worker was on duty. The line was long, and the worker explained that he had to close at exactly 5:00pm regardless if people were still waiting in line. I arrived 30 minutes before closing time, but I waited in line while the postal worker dealt with one customer for 27 minutes!
My wife and I were moving and had lost the mail key. I explained to the postal worker at the desk that our dogs' medication was in the mail and while he could not help me, he was able to direct me to somebody that could (at another office down the road). The service was quick and friendly.
Don't rely on the website for hours. They close randomly at any time of day. Usually at 4:00 even though the website and their door say they close at 5:00. It takes a lot to fall below the already low bar set by Atl USPS offices but Little Five Points is undoubtedly the worst.
I've cone here before and have never received very good service. Today the person working was turning people away a half hour before they closed. This is a huge problem for a place that works with logistics. You will likely save time by traveling to another post office.
They never sent my wedding invitations and refused to help me figure out where they went or look around in their office to see if they were sitting around somewhere/got separated. Wasted a lot of my money on stamps because I had to re-send literally all my invitations.
Came at 10:55 to mail an important package and they were already closed for lunch. Posted time is 11:00-12:00. Worst time to be closed! That is the standard lunch hour when people try to run errands. Particularly disappointing that they closed early on top of that!!
Came on Monday at 1130, they were closed for lunch. Came back at 2 they were closed for lunch. Came back Wednesday at 4:08, they are closed for 30 minutes. Waited until 5 and never came back. Plus parking is never available and the workers are rude 50% of the time
I think they have had all of their negative reviews taken down...there were many of them listed previously, including mine, but now they are gone. WORST POST OFFICE EVER! The women were EXTREMELY rude and couldn't care less about their jobs. STAY AWAY!
I really wouldn't get them any stars. I got in before 5pm waited and they told me they couldn't help me because the customers in front took too much time. The lady behind the counter is rude. I needed a postal order cashed and im 600 miles from home
I came in at 11:54 AM. Bertha (?) came to the counter at 11:58 and told me I should know better because they have lunch at 11. . I said it's not 11... and she said close enough and now she'll "have to open back up late". I was out by 11AM
Mr. Reese is so helpful and kind! I sell online so I’m always having to pop into different post offices to drop off orders, and this is my favorite by far. It’s always clean, always easy. The literal only reason its not 5 star is simply due
I am echoing the horrible reviews. If I could give this location no stars I would. The employees are crooks. I mailed a package at this post office with a money order inside to a recipient in another state. The only way to know there was a
This is the 3rd time I've arrived at this location and they're closed early for no reason. They were closed at least 20mins before the closing time on their door. Seems to be a normal occurrence with this location. Also, the postal ladies
I need to ship out packages most weekdays. Unlike many customers who need counter service, I print my own labels and simply need to enter the office to drop my packages off. I can no longer count the number of times this office was closed
Not sure why all the reviews are so negative. They have their lunch hours posted on their door (11-12) so there’s plenty of warning. I’ve had great experiences with the many ladies who work here and they’re always super helpful. I usually
This post office is horrible. I went today at 1115 and they had a sign up that there were on a 1 hour lunch from 11-12. So I came back at 1250 and they still weren’t open with a large line out the door. There should be more accountability
Got to say, I'm surprised by all the negative reviews. Every time I've used this PO the employees have been quick, helpful, friendly and upbeat. There's rarely any wait and when there are a couple of people in line service is efficient. I
They close at 4 because “our location has to shut their computers down at 4”. I repeatedly have tried different times and walked up there for no reason. Lines pile up. People are irritated. Sometimes it’s unavoidable and you need to go in
So apparently someone who has PO BOX 4104 scams people, used the number for the police station and everything and said they had a warrant, even though I should have seen that. And until this post office is helpful I wont change my review.
The hours listed are 9am-5pm monday through friday and closed from 11-12 for lunch but this is just approximate, not actual. It is a gamble if they will be open on time. Best bet is to come to this location between 2-4pm if you actually
Literally the worst most unreliable post office in post office history. I only gave 1 star because I couldn’t give zero stars. Literally saw the lady put the sign up saying be back in 30 mins as I walked up at 3:20pm. It is now 4:08 and
I came here on Friday afternoon to get something mailed priority before the weekend and found this notice “will return in 30 minutes”, with the addresses for the nearest 2 branches. It’s extremely disrespectful of people’s time to “step
As other reviewers noted, it is very frequently closed during “open” hours. Today at 415 the lobby was locked with a sign that said “computers down” - I’m sorry, you don’t get to lock the lobby and keep people from accessing PO Boxes
Office is closed for lunch 11-noon. Arrived at noon and waited 30 minutes. I respect someone's lunch break, but they wasted mine. Ended up leaving with my package. If they aren't going to be open, they could have at least had a sign.
Was told to wear a mask even though there's no sign at the door that says so, plus they actually have a box of masks at the front that says, "DOES NOT PROTECT AGAINST COVID-19" I don't think I'll be back here soon …
Everytime we come here,it's pretty quick and the staff gets a tough job done. Parking is hassle free most days and the building looks really cool from the outside. Very Little 5 style.Bertha always goes the extra mile!
This place always seems to have “their system down”. I understand that happens sometimes but they need to update their hours to say “closed” online if they aren’t open! This has happened multiple times.
Is this post office permanently closed? I went there at 9:35, and no one was there. I came back at 2 on the same day, and it was still closed. Where am I supposed to mail my USPS packages from?
The clerks are not shy! So if you don't mind being spoken to frankly, you will love this place. 10:30a seems the best time for short lines. You can shop at Sevananda's next door also.
They close from 11-12 noon for lunch break, cool, respect that. But now that I stood outside till 12:20 like my entire lunch break was wasted. You guys need to be more prompt pls
There’s a reason this place has such a low rating. The reason’s name is Bertha. You see Bertha at the counter, you may as well just turn around and try another location.
This place is filthy dirty! The people work there are rude and loud. They need to learn how to be better at serving customers. Worst USPS experience ever!
Says the lobby is closed from 11am-12pm for lunch. But I got in there at 10:45 and they were already closed. Terrible service don’t waste your time here
I stop here when I am on my way to work. I am always in and out, and my packages arrive to their location very quickly. Workers are efficient.
Closes early. Not open until 6pm as web site states. I find the staff to be competent and good at their jobs. They are just understaffed.
Just echoing all the other bad reviews and experiences. You cannot count on this post office being opened during regular business hours.
Every experience here has been bad! Tried to mail something at 9:15 this morning and they weren’t open, with a line out front waiting.
Had sign up that said be back in 30 minutes. Patrons have no idea when that means you’ll be back. Put a time on the sign please. ;)
Clerks hide in the back. Stood for over 15 minutes waiting for assistance. Never got it but could clearly hear talking in the back.
Lunch break is listed 11-12, arrived at 1:15 and it was closed. The local phone number on the USPS website was disconnected.
Unfriendly customer service but I got what I came for. WhT ever happened to good business manners♀️ …
The most inconvenient post office I’ve ever been to. Great location but the hours are completely absurd.
Lunch hours posted are 11-12. It’s 12:34 and still nobody here. A bunch of people waiting in line..
Went by at 10 am and nobody there despite hours opening at 9 am
