I came in to mail my wedding invitations- and I sealed them the regular way as well as added a wax seal on the outside. I used to mail letters to friends with a wax seal growing up all the time. So when one of them rudely said that it would be “on me” if they were returned, and that it would be an additional $4.75 per envelope to leave the wax seal, I called my fiancé to see what he thought we should do. I went back in after a few minutes cuz two of our invites were missing (after having counted to make sure). I asked really nicely if any had gotten left behind- the woman literally said nothing, grabbed the letter box, tipped it over… so I said, “ okay thank you! They must have gotten left at home”- she rudely said “okaaaayyy” and just stared me in the face. I just sat in my car and cried to a friend due to the interaction and the fact that these wedding envelopes already have stamps. She said that there was a hand cancelling stamping option vs machine and they never told me that while there! If that’s an option then why wouldn’t they mention it.
Some of the employees here don't really know what customer service means. if they don't want to work there, there is a lot of people who will love to take their place and will be very happy to have a stable job. The concept of customer service at USPS is not something that is promoted among the staff. They don't really care. It is very often that I have problems with USPS. In one occasion, one package I sent was received with half of the content. I did a claim and nothing happen. Again, who cares....If you get lucky, your package will be receive on time and not opened...They should privatize the USPS, you will see a great change....
The absolute worst customer service experience. The workers were so rude and condescending. They belittled me and embarrassed me in front of everybody waiting in line. Going to thoroughly enjoy writing the usps consumer advocate department a letter. Yes, you might be a government employee with tenure and job security but that does not give you the permission to treat another human being like a piece of gum stuck on the bottom of your shoe. This is specifically aimed at the older, female Asian worker and her buddy. Just abominable, literally shaking!
Parking near the post office is limited. There should be some designated post office parking for quick drop offs. It’s very inconvenient to have to park 5 mins away and walk over. It’s always busy with a line out the door. There’s two kiosks to scan packages but both have been broken for a while now. I loved being able to scan and drop off but that doesn’t give you peace of mind if it’s not working.
Alice was very helpful, transparent with fees, and to the point with what I needed. Thank you so much! There are 2 Service Machine for packages and drop off in the hallway. The room for where people stand in line is quite small. Better to be prepared in advance with your own pen and/or sharpie. Parking: Packed parking lot, do not expect a quick in and out. Restroom: N/A
I have a PO Box at this post office they are very nice very helpful one of the staff members Aris is always able to help me out sometimes they get too crowded so it’s kind of hard to work with but overall they are very nice place and they are local in the valley which saves me a lot of time from having to go to other places that are too far
Alice was the most sweet and wonderful person behind the counter ive ever interacted with, especially as a disabled person, genuinely so so helpful. she literally walked all the way into the customer area to help me find the right package and then helped me package and tape it all with a beautiful smile. Wishing her as lovely of a day as she gave me.❤️
What a terrible office, took me a good 6 minutes just to find parking. When I finally walked in the line was at least 16 patrons deep so I decided just to place my envelope into the shoot but it was so stuffed that I couldn’t put it in without it being easily removed by anyone. What a waste of time, now have to drive to the next office.
Stopped by this post office to ship home a medium box of things since I was traveling. We were initially a bit nervous about lines and wait time, but not only was there no line (and multiple reps available to serve us), the ladies working there were very helpful and friendly. :) It was an easy and breezy experience.
I’VE HAD A PO BOX AT THIS LOCATION FOR SEVERAL YEARS AND REALLY APPRECIATE THE COURTESY AND KINDNESS THAT HAS BEEN RECEIVED. AN ADDED BOON IS THE ABILITY TO RECEIVE PACKAGES HERE. I THINK SOME OF THE OTHER REVIEWS ARE UNFAIR AS I’VE NEVER BEEN TREATED RUDELY. WHEN THE LINE IS LONGER IT MOVES PRETTY FAST.
Stay away from one Asian lady in there. I believe her name was smth like “May”.. I thought she had been mean to me only but it happened with another person in line also) I stayed for a few minutes there to take pics of my receipts and heard those dialogs.. aggressive, mocking.. awful experience
All the staff in Granada Hills are very helpful especially Alice, she's so friendly and i just wish all USPS branch have the same customer service. One more thing, USPS is a lot cheaper as compared to Fedex, Alice even suggested something to make it more affordable. Keep it up!
My first time here and omg is one of THE BEST post office I've visited in the valley. They are so friendly and clean Aida and Jay were amazing, very helpful and answer all my questions about a package i was sending international. I will definitely go out of my way to came back.
There's an older lady working there that is rude. I was patient and didn't do anything that could make her angry towards me. As soon as I gave her my package she was very aggressive and threw it in a pile. She needs to be fired asap. The other workers were nice and helpful.
Always when I try to cash out money orders, the old Asian lady is telling me that the system is down, and maybe to come back tomorrow! I always go straight to another post office and the system works perfectly. But the system it's never down when I have to buy!
Unfortunately they are so rude at this post office. The skinny black lady is the worst. Very mean, rude, to customers. They never open the doors on time and they just don’t care. It’s really sad they hate their jobs so much. It is a customer service job.
All the clerks working in this office are very kind, professional and helpful! Yes, sometimes there a Is a line and you have to wait 10-15 before being served, but the staff does everything they can not to make you wait longer than you have to.
Absolutely trash place. I drop off 12 packages the same morning and same time, the high dollar ticket item in a priority mail medium package has gone missing, not scanned, and still not showing in transit. All other 11 items ok. After going
To start off I NEVER leave reviews but this one has been sitting on me. Went to the US postal service store, waited in the short line to talk to a recipient (an older woman)- Had to pull out my phone to show her something; I had previously
Black lady shouted at customer. Very rude and aggressive 03/26/18 14:58 can't understand why she still work here! It's not first time when I see how she put down customers. Hopefully someone come and take video about her and show it on tv!
My neighborhood post office covers all my mailing needs. The clerks are knowledgeable, efficient, and friendly. I will be happy to rate with five stars once headquarters spruces up the office. Perhaps start by replacing the glass doors.
I have been going to this post office for years. It is obvious to me that the postal worker are doing their very best and sometimes under difficult circumstances. I am grateful for their hard work and dedication.
Super small place, offers up boxes like the other places do. The people going through were being handled super quick. Lots of mail boxes here too for usage versus the other small USPS locations.
ALWAYS use postage paid, or where you do all the payment at home so you don't have to wait in line. Fairly clean, drop box on the hallway for letters and packages. Service is alright.
The people working at the Granada hills post office do a wonderful job! In the face of a pandemic and the Pres. messing with everything there, they soldier on!
Worst usps employees I’ve ever met horrible attitudes and hate their job so much they mess up people’s mail delivery PLUS CHARGE MORE THAN SUPPOSED TO
These potholes make you buy tape, they dont give out tape for free. Dont go here. Go to porter ranch one they give free tape, its there on the table.
I paid for postage and the lady must have done something because I was charged an additional 7.75 upon delivery, very nasty ladies working there
Overnighted a package took four days. Wich is not a fault of the local post office. I have come to expect much better performance from USPS.
Thank you post office workers. For helping me out with my passport. I appreciate all your help and all you customer service.
Always hard working staff, small place, lines, but still a great crew of people trying to move the line as fast as possible.
Go to Mail and Ship HUB 5 stores down towards Burlington Coat Factory. For all shipping needs. Avoid the USPS hassle.
Really rude attendant, did not provide answer to my question saying there is no supervisor
Nicest people at this location, p, jay, every week see you guys for the drop off!
Lines are long, but the employees at this location are pretty helpful.
Located among other stores in strip mall. Quick.
Always crowded, but employees are helpful.
the old chinese lady is extremely rude.
