    "This will be my last time using this post office I had a package I was supposed to have delivered in the beginning of February the person at the window told me that they only pick up packages on Wednesday then I received a text from the company stating they did not receive the package so I went back to the post office talk to this person he told me they still had it I said okay fine I'll be patient and wait then a week later I received another message stating that the company still hadn't received the package I said okay this is crazy so I called lady answered the phone very rude and ask her about the package she said that it wasn't there and I had to wait and hung up reminding you that was in February we are now in April and now I'm being charged almost $700 I track the tracking number and it says that it was picked up the day I dropped it off but it was delivered back to the post office 2 Days Later"

Ive had many different issues with this postal service. im not one to complain, but ive had very personal, important, bills that became delinquent because the mail was lost, stolen or never delivered. Ive brought up the issue to various people, from the delivery man, my landlord, the workers/supervisor at the post office & have been on hold for countless hours getting nowhere, just a run around. ive tried to get this problem fixed, but it just seems to get worse! and its been years!!! I live in an apt complex & my mailbox has no lock! i wont get a straight answer from my landlord or the post office about why they cant install a lock. I dont feel safe, my bank acct has been hacked, my ss # stolen, who kmows how many CC's have been opened in my name All of a sudden my credit score is ZERO! if i order a package online, im lucky if i get it & in one piece . they dont even leave notices on the front gate anymore. I even see mail from other addresses near my mailboxes. I really dont know what to do? it seems like if i ask for help it just gets worse :(

I went to get a passport for myself and my (minor) son. The entire booking system to get in is so messed up. It's really hard to get an appointment for an adult and child. I came in hoping that since I was a half hour early, they could take care of both of us. The lady refused. There was 1 other family there getting passports and they were being taken care of, so it's not like we were holding up a line. The entire time, she was very rude! I had to drive an hour the following day to get my son a passport (also had to book him as an adult because booking a child's appointment changes availability). I went to Anaheim's post office and the lady working at that post office was amazingly helpful! Definitely going to that one next time.

This is the worst post office ever. I don't get my packages on time,they always leave my mail in the wrong address. April and Sandra are so rude. They answer the phone with an attitude they don't help you at all. This people need either more training or find another job that they are happy doing. This problem it's been going on for a while. I have reported this post office and nothing gets done. Then they tell you I'm the problem why? Because I report that you guys are not doing your job right. The mail carriers don't pay attention when they are distributing the mail they are on the phone or they are doing something else. Something needs to get done. People that work there are not doing their job right!

I sent my relatives in Louisiana packages for Christmas that were rifled through, wrappers were torn off and boxes of See's chocolates were opened, handled and left in disarray. My family could not eat the chocolate that was touched by P.O. employees. I checked the policy for mailing chocolate and the only concern listed was melting. No need to open them, you could smell the fresh chocolate. The packages were mailed domestic and sent to private homes, not Gov't buildings. I think they were looking for cannabis (I don't smoke) to steal. My gifts were ruined, and now I have to file a claim and report this behavior. I am busy every day yet have to do this. This is the worst P,O, that I have encountered.

This post office is the worst I have ever encountered. My son's immigration documents from USCIS were never delivered twice. I have the tracking numbers for these mail which supposedly were delivered. Feb 24 - Biometric Appt Aug 20 - Empl Auth Document (Work Permit) Although the Post Office in Alvarado showed the postman delivered these on those dates, we never received these. I had to go to the Alvarado post office to inquire why these mails were never delivered. The staff were nonchalant and told me that USCIS should file a claim of the loss of the missing mail. These are highly critical documents that can be used illegally by those in the know ! Stealing mail is a felony !! What a shame.

This office didn't deliver two packages twice recently. Called this office today, this supervisor said "someone took it", then hanged up phone right after. I am wondering who took it? This is very very awful post office in this area. The service is bad and communication is bad. The Mail carrier is not responsible. Who can I complain to? This USPS seems no body can touch them. Do we deserve that kind of bad service every day from USPS? This rate should be negative. We have lost about four packages so far within one year, and we almost lost my wife's passport (we chased it back), wrong mails frequently. What is wrong with this office

I think we should stop rating overall business branch locations and start rating workers - as your experience is based on individual interaction. Also, it will keep said individuals responsible to their actions. I called to find out about my parcel that I got a pink slip for. Online it says it's been delivered and doesn't mention the failed delivery. I put a request for re-delivery for today and that still didn't happen. Lupe was very professional in the manner of helping me locate the parcel and letting me know what must have happened as a logical reason as to why it hadn't been re-delivered yet.

There is something going on here. This is the 3rd package they "lost" or steals from me. I believe the supervisor and carrier are stealing the packages. They pretend to attempt to deliver the shipment then delete it from the system so nobody can track it. When you go there and ask for your package; the supervisor gives you a nasty attitude and don't even try to look for the package. They blame Amazon for it like if it was amazon who's delivering the boxes themselves. An investigation has just begun on this post office employees from Amazon

I've been having several packages lost or misplaced at this location. I'm gonna have to change my po box address to another area unfortunately because of these idiot clerks that work the back office carelessly. Why I'm I paying for a PO BOX service when I'm gonna have the same issues as if my orders went to a regular home address? I hope they investigate these people, I have a feeling they're stealing stuff from people at random since they know most of these packages are from Amazon. Terrible service.

PM manager is not open to constructive criticism on asking mail deliverer to kindly deliver LARGE PACAKAGES to actual address and not a general mail room. PM manager not open to asking staff to offer this service to all customers and not the select few that she does deliver directly to door. No empathy from PM manager or mail deliverer on TWO packages that were lost due to her inefficient delivery methods. I could go on and on but it’s not worth it. There was one guy at the location who was amazing.

Unfortunately Amazon Prime won't let me choose the default shipping service. These people are completely incompetent and laughably clueless. Carriers are probably uneducated minimum wage workers who have complete disregard for your packages. People working at the office are condescending in their stupidity. Unbelievably bad mailing service, but it had to be government for it to be this bad. They should just completely kill the USPS once and for all and be done with it. Absolute garbage.

It's not the workers fault but going to this post office is never a good experience. Very long lines, last time waited almost 2 hours. Have also had issues with packages getting lost, packages being delivered to me with a different address on the package, etc. this is the only post office in my zip code so it is what it is. Overall I think the workers are overworked and they need additional help. If you work at this post office or have to go here for any reason, I'm sorry

Horrible. Left a package there June 6. Called June 11 and they say they don't know were it is. Tracking number doesn't give me an Update. I never go to this post office. but they have a lobby that opens early. So it was convenient for me to drop it off with out seeing a clerk. My other local post office has never lost a package. They never scanned the package that they received it. They either steal it or misplaced it. Sketchy place.

i can't believe i sent certified mail from here, paid $8 for it to be sent to a government P.O. box too... sent it on 5/26 and checked the tracking number today on 6/16 and it's still sitting in the post office without any movement to deliver it. someone spends money to send a time sensitive letter and it takes USPS this long and it's still not at it's destination??? Does it take 3 weeks to send something from Socal to Norcal?

This is a review of Google maps directions, not the post office. Directions told me to park in the Auto zone parking lot. The post office has a parking lot, but it is on the other side of the building on the corner of Glendale and Alvarado. The auto zone parking lot has signs everywhere saying they will tow non-customers. I would have sent my feedback directly to Maps, but I figured others might benefit from this heads up

Worst usps I’ve been to in LA? The workers are patient and always helpful in my experience but there is usually only one working at a time so there is ALWAYS a line almost out the door. No other post office in LA is like this. You’d think they would delegate more employees to this location to accommodate people looking for help with passports? The self service kiosk also does not accept my chip card.

Site says my packages have been delivered when they clearly have not been. Have had problems with my postman throwing things down my stairs and leaving my valuables outside of my mailbox when I specifically requested them not to. Have never had one good experience with this post office. I called to ask about my package and the lady was condescending, clueless, and no help.

Horrible service and incompetent staff, even the so-called "Manager." There is a like Black lady that worked at the front as a clerk that was very rude, combative, didn't seem to care about much at all, lied to me and told me a lot of stuff that wasn't true while avoiding helping! Almost all of the staff, including the manager were incompetent!

Incompetent, inconsiderate and unprofessional. the deliverer somehow was not able to deliver packages even though my building has designated entry selection for carriers. i called this office and the woman was rude and dismissive. She put me on hold for 20 minutes and then realized i was still waiting and hung up the call. i am so irritated

What a fantastic experience at this Post Office! I recently moved and had to forward my mail. The process was seamless, and their attention to detail in ensuring all my mail was redirected correctly was impressive. Their service is top-notch, and their pricing is very reasonable. I couldn't be happier with the quality and value I received.

I can only speak for myself but I had a great experience here today. The service was quick and very pleasant. There was a line of about 5 or 6 people ahead of me but I only had to stand in it for a couple of minutes. Then I was helped by a very nice gentleman (Ernie, I believe was what his nametag said) and I was out the door!

Made a passport appointment online (with confirmation), and I showed up on time the following week. The worker at the front desk said unfortunately their passport agent was on vacation. Did not offer to reschedule, just referred me to other post offices. How hard is it to black those dates out on the scheduler? Fail.

i see all this bad reviews and ive been going here for years. Never had a problem. Only once that they lost my package i sent out. But it was kind of my fault cuz i didint secure it well and must of fell apart during transportation. The only thins is yeah parking can be a lil difficult but thats los angeles for you.

The staff here definitely suck. We have one of these postman that will deliver packages and throw them over our fence even when the gate is OPEN and UNLOCKED. doesn't bother to try and open the gate. There is also a mailbox. USE THE FREAKING MAILBOX! I keep getting my packages thrown over because they're careless!

They never deliver packages and lie and say they tried or lie and say an “ animal” was in the way when there’s no ANIMALS AROUND. THEY HAVE LOST TWO OF MY PACKAGES. IT MAKES NO SENSE. THEY ARE ABLE TO DELIVER THE MAIL PART JUST FINE BUT WHEN IT COMES TO PACKAGES THEY ALWAYS LIE AND LOSE IT OR MAYBE EVEN STEAL IT.

Please hire some more staff! One window open during the Christmas rush is nuts! Waited half an hour only to be refused at the window and told to wait until the line is shorter. I had a bunch of packages that just needed to be scanned in. Prob would take half as long as some of the folks who were ahead of me.

If I could, I’d leave less than 1 star. They’ve lost multiple packages, misdelivered packages to other people’s mailboxes, and are impossible to get ahold of for any help or accountability. The whole USPS system is a joke and this place is a shining example of why people avoid the post office.

WARNING I cannot order certain things anymore after having my expensive packages stolen from them . This has never happened until I moved to this area .There are very few people that work there so I’m sure it will be easy to track down who’s doing it . Completely unorganized place in person .

Literally the worst. USPS is notoriously bad and the rep is their employees don't care, but this place is unreal. Since living in this area I've had more packages and letters not delivered than I have received properly. There's not much to say other than they are truly terrible at their job.

Bad service from employees, they don't know what they do, they don't take accountability for their mistakes, plus rude if you try to address a problem that has emerged due to their inability to do their work. So not only they create the problem but they make it impossible to solve it

This is a small US post office branch location. If you got the wrong time there will be a long line. I once went to get a passport here but I could not because there is a long wait list that you have to sign up for. I think the person that does passports only comes few times a week.

So rude! I asked a question about a PO Box and the woman laughed at me and yelled about how ridiculous my question was. I literally left in tears. I know post office’s are never excellent but I have never experienced such a lack of respect or that level of rudeness at a business.

This post office cost me money. Went to the customer counter to drop off a package for a customer. Only just to find out the person behind the counter didn’t even scan it. I would not recommend using the counter when dropping off your packages a complete disappointment.

You can say that again. This is the Worst out of all the Post offices that are nearby. I am the Gateways Hospital and they return all 50 checks payable to our vendors marked forward address changed with a yellow sticker. Edendale Post office at 90026 is the worst.!!!

Every time I go here it’s a nightmare. Understaffed, incompetent workers. Usually a line out the door. Supplies are rarely restocked and the self service machine is often out of order. If you want to know what hell is like go to the Alvarado Post Office!

I agree with the other guy. I've never had a problem. Great service, and the Asian man was nice to me.. Aside from the errant homeless man in the po box section smelling of urine and death, i give this one the highest rating in LA!

Made an appointment to get a passport a month ago, confirmed the appointment a day before and when I showed up there was just a sign on the door saying due to staffing they do not have a passport agent there until further notice.

The staff is very nice and I feel for them. This post office is understaffed and is a perfect illustration of how some of the LA communities are grossly underserved. There are mostly long lines and it seems to never get cleaned.

Worst service ever never going back . I was in line for over 35 minutes and the employee didnt say or announce its only card no cash. Bad service or is it the office not wanting to pay another worker ? Lost a loyal customer .

If you think the DMV is bad, you should try out this place. Never come in early morning, come in after nine. Apparently they're not allowed to have more than one employee there until 9am, then two more employees show up.

Refused on 1/06 but delivered on 1/08. Lupie Lowe, the supervisor at Edendale station left me a voicemail not understanding what I wanted to do with the package, and hung up on me twice when I called her back.
