I went in to send a package to my son in Hawaii. It's perishable. I had it all packed with gel packs and I have never done this before. The woman helping me was nice but there was a full conversation between her and the other 2 women about my package. At first I thought maybe she was new and gave her a chance. She quoted $59 and change for it to get there for Thursday( I was there on a Monday) I said to her I would really like to next day it. She says to me well that's going to cost you. I figured as much. I had gel packs, foam bricks and a cooler box with this surprise favorite dish of my son's for his birthday. Ok how much I asked her well it's not guaranteed to be there next day it will get there Wednesday $117 and change she says I say ok and I'm ready to pay this amount, did not complain about it or say that I was being ripped off, I said ok. The other worker says why don't you just send him the money. I have to say that's when I lost my mind. I mean how unprofessional are you to make a comment about what I want to send my son you're not even helping me why are you in my business? Are you paying for it? I didn't use fowl language even though I wanted to. I did yell for them to give me my package back and said the comments were uncalled for took my package and left. These people should be given mandatory customer service classes since they are serving the public. I will NEVER go to this post office again.
I went to this post office to ask about refund. As soon as they heard the word 'refund', they started to overly react as if I asked something I shouldn't ask. They literally shoot out the words torrentially without giving me any moment to process their words(well, eventually they were meaning no refunds), as if they are trying to make me overwhelmed and kick me out so they wouldn't give me any refunds. They acted like they were trying to fight me. And moreover, one of the staffs said to me 'You don't know anything about it. This is how it goes in here' Well, I'm a customer not a worker. It was total rude, disrespectful and really insulting. They should learn how to react respectfully to customer when they hear the word 'refund'.
I would give a 0 if I could.... I had to do a "return receipt" and I've never done that before.. so when I asked the woman was getting so nasty and raising her voice saying "no no no!" The other side.. ok I'm sorry that I've never done this.. how bout a simple "no this is what you do" but then I go back to the other woman and she says fill this side out.. meanwhile the previous woman told me not to! omg the rudeness was off the charts sorry never felt the need the put up a review but if it's one thing I dont like, is being made to feel dumb.. especially when a simple explanation was all that was needed..

Horrible horrible service at this post office. I asked for 5 of my packages to be scanned in and Mary the Asian women who is the nastiest thing in the world refused to. I then asked for my packages back and she refused to give them back to me she said “they are in usps hands now” so I don’t have my packages scanned in, and I don’t have my packages to take them to another branch. Nasty unprofessional people working at this branch. Will be complaining to her manager, and everyone higher than her. If I can give this branch 0 stars I would.
The most worse customer service at the post office this place does not like to help nobody with anything so if you need help over there keep on waiting cuz that's what you're going to get they're going to tell you do it yourself and their attitude is the worse to this is one of the most worse post office on Staten Islands you are there to drop off a letter that's fine other than that go elsewhere to get help and get better services elsewhere and I will get a hold of corporate office too by the Staten Island mall
The first time I came to this place I had a pleasant experience, but not the second. This morning I came there to drop off a package. After I gave the lady the package I asked her for a receipt and she answered me in a rude unprofessional manner. She said to me that she's not a mind reader and that I should have asked for the receipt before giving her the package. No wonder this place has such a low rating.
First time at this location since moving to SI from Brooklyn. Horrid experience. They charged me for a UNUSED box $4.75. The lady saw me holding it and asked what it was, I told her the box was unused and she said I still had to pay for it even though there’s nothing for me to mail. That makes no sense?? So next time I actually do use the box they will charge me again?? That’s STEALING.
As I entered this post office the worker Ann was YELLING at a customer. Ann had locked the door behind the customer before me. Ann did not let me, the person after me or the about 8 month pregnant woman carrying her son out because she was doing her "night work". We were not let out until I started recording and the pregnant lady called the police.
I'm giving one star but from the reviews it might be a zero. I need to wait until Monday to call but I'm wondering why according to my tracking my package to EZ Pass has been "In transit" since 8/19! That's almost 10 days "in transit" when EZ Pass is in Staten Island. It's probably floating in Staten Island at this point!
This Post Office is conveniently located, and parking is not usually a problem, but there is always a long line. It is a very tiny P.O. with no package drop box or windows. You have to wait on line for everything, prepaid packages even to buy a stamp. This part of the island deserves a bigger, full service Post Office.
I try to avoid this USPS location as much as I can and would have put 0 rating if such option was available. Very rude staff and terrible service. Problems with packages, even pre-paid, almost every time. I hope management and most of the current team changes soon with someone who cares about USPS and its customers.
5 star review for Girgis. I remember being helped by him at the Manor location and should have left a review right away. I was helped by him today at this location. Once again he was as kind and helpful as you would want anyone to be when navigating the post office. Thank you sir for your service!
This location always overcrowded no matter what time you in i have no idea why they can’t manage properly this place very small place I don’t even think they open this location for what i think they can move around and look for big place or manage this place
I'm new to staten island I called this location to ask about my package the lady rudely asks me about my zip and says call that location "I said but this is the location that appeared on Google when I entered my zip" she hangs up on me whide I was talking
Absolutely disgusting customer service. The lady was rude and nasty and unwilling to help. This was my first and last time coming here. Rather continue making the trip out further but for service with a smile and pleasant people willing to help.
I mailed out something on January 30th in their own mailbox and my item was never delivered. I've been trying to call and get a hold of someone but nobody ever seems to answer the phones. I have to find out of my package was lost
Trying to send off a gift labeled and they would not accept the box it was in. I only had left a FedEx box. All they had to do was place their label and let it ship. I have done it before at other post offices no problem.
Absolutely ridiculous. Phone rings rings with no one answering. Now there is a busy signal. Tried calling Richmond Avenue and they flatly refused to help with a tracking number. Too bad review won't post with no stars.
Great service! The asian lady was quite nice to me when I went with a lot of questions! I did not get to speak to the other worker. She was prompt and understanding. Answered all my questions.
LEON… is a very disrespectful, impatient and belongs in a senior citizen home. He has the nastiest attitude. He doesn’t have patience for customers. Leon is complete trash.

This is my Post Office - staff is super-friendly!!! Sometimes it a little slow but that's usually because people aren't sure what they need and they are so helpful.
Accurate hours compared to other post offices that advertised Saturdays until 3 but closed at 1. Very nice front clerk that answered all of my questions.
I haven’t had a bad experience, they do their jobs and I can get in and get out. I just wish they had a machine there to print your shipping labels
terrible service and staff very rude. return my packages for postage due of 4.001 oz noted on it. which only weight 3.8 oz and I paid for 4 oz.
There's lots of parking that's a plus, the counter lady that assisted me was rude and I felt rushed. During 2pm I went and not a big wait.
