I have been using this location for the last two years since I moved here. I have brought my (very small/20lb) support dog in with me ever time I NEED him as well as anytime the temperature outside is not safe for him to be left in the car. I’ve never had any issues or been treated anything less than kind by the employees . Until today. .. there was about a half a dozen other people in line when I got here. I am working on a certain commands with my pooch so we walked in extra slow, pausing a few times as we got in line. Everybody including it the three employees behind the counter absolutely saw us walk in and get in line. I made sure to stay at least 6 feet behind the gentleman in front of me just out of respect, because some people are uncomfortable with dogs . After quietly and patiently waiting for the other six people it was finally our turn . All I had to mail one envelope that just needed extra postage. As I stepped towards the counter I was promptly told to leave, and that there was no dogs allowed! I briefly tried to explain he’s my support, it’s too hot for him to be in the car, and I only needed to put postage on my envelope. I was so caught off guard. I assumed he would be kind enough to let me hand him the envelope and 5 bucks and be on my way. He was fine with me being in line for 10 minutes with my dog, but now I can’t mail my stinking envelope?!?! He literally refused me service after letting me stand there in line . Seriously, feel like I was being punished. For the record, there are NO signs posted anywhere that warn dogs are not allowed inside. I have never been denied service but not denied entry with my dog. I really can’t believe nobody out of the three employees said a too me the entire time I was in line , just so they could refuse service once it was my turn! Situations like this are WHY I have social anxiety that requires me to not go out alone .

Went in today to ship just a shirt and birthday card to my dad. I walked and and went right to the front so I could figure out which way to ship. I was called to the front by an Eva (evil was more like it with the attitude I was given). All I asked was cheapest and slowest and show d her I had a t shirt and a card. She then proceeded to give me the entire run down of the store and every size package I could use and share if I wanted to buy boxes I could or use flat rate and gave me rates all the way up to these boxes that could fit myself in. It’s just a shirt... I said I just needed cheapest, it’s in no rush pointed me to the flat rate section and said if you can fit it in the small box then good luck and moved right onto the next customer with me still standing there. So I grab the small box, no idea how to put this stupid thing together, trying to keep the box together and put a t shirt inside ( the box is like a puzzle I guess and no instructions on how to box it together. I was going to give this a 1 star but the other woman, Shonda I believe, saw from the very beginning I was both confused and frustrated with the first person. Called me up to the counter again had a box ready and took care of me in less than 2 minutes. The other lady took over 5 minutes explaining prices to me and showing me on my way. If you go in, wait for shondas line if you have time. She knows her stuff. ( I think I might have gotten an attitude because I came in after work wearing a uniform that is with a shopping company) or she was just not in a good mood. Yikes!!

Utterly Ridiculous... The only thing good I have to say is the 2 ladies at the counter are usually nice! I receive packages at least twice a week. Sometimes I receive the pink card never comes.. they give my daughter a hard time with an her DL with the same address yet I ve been getting packages for a year now! So they turned her around yet a second time for an incompetent employee.. call to speak to a supervisor immediately he gets defensive because I'm upset.. no sir you do not .. ur job is to diffuse the situation.. instead of listening to me he continue to repeat that I needed to sign the card which I have never done... so when he told me the process that I did not need to sign if she has the same address on her DL.. so I told him had he been listening instead of being terrible at customer service this conversation could've been over. So he says I'll handle that send your daughter back.. I said she'll be back tomorrow.. so I said you need better customer service he said no,, I said yes you do because when you realized the employee was wrong for wasting our time your job was to apologize.. oh he apologized.. he said those words by still speaking to me unprofessional.. so I will get the clerks name who continue to give my daughter a hard time & recommend a refresher customer service course for the manager TIM.. so now there will be a formal complaint to the POSTMASTER!

Where do I start. If you visit this post office the staff is nice but if you are expecting a package from this post office you’ll never get it. I put in a change of address, paid online so my mail can be forwarded to my new address and guess what... they still delivered my mail to my old address. The office of my old address denied/rejected the package because I am no longer a resident yet the tracking number says delivered to office/front desk now nobody knows where this package is and I can’t for the life of me understand why it wasn’t put in the mailbox since it’s a small package. This happened to me before with my sons graduation shoes I was told to put in a claim that was later denied cause they trust their carriers delivered it. I believe there is a mail carrier or their family member walking around in my sons shoes and now wearing his $85 glasses which are prescribed btw. Oh they also will say items were delivered hours before the office even opened. I try not deal with USPS because it always ends up being a guessing game on wether or not you’ll get your package ‍♀️ I am currently waiting on an email on what they will do next which I am sure it will be nothing.

The staff is painfully incompetent and unapologetically apathetic. I've worked with USPS all over the country, never have I lost or not received a package until I moved to Charlotte and had to deal with this office. The most recent incident involved a package that was on track to be delivered, but I never received it. Neither the office manager nor the carrier had any answers as to what could possibly have happened to it. They seemed dumbfounded at the idea of it being lost. My carrier dropped this gem of enlightenment: "Whoever checked the mailbox probably got it." He said that with complete sincerity. I guess he thinks that I live with a package-hoarding clone. The office manager/person that answers the phone told me to file a claim with USPS. I asked him how. He replied, "I don't know." Like I mentioned...painful. The two people in line with me were also vehemently complaining of lost mail. And here I was thinking that I was special.

Listen USPS does not need to be in business we need a new postal service because their customer service isn’t there over the phone at all! When you call in to customer service when I say nobody will help you! I mean nobody not even their supervisors. It’s sad I’ve never had a bad experience at the office but over the phone I spoke with too many people that do not...... I REPEAT DO NOT know what they are doing at all! They all new workers or something because they aren’t doing a good job. They aren’t professional at all and there is never good customer service! It’s not possible each person I spoke with was rude and can’t track anything or choose not too because they are being lazy! Why work if you don’t want to do your job or want to deliver correct Customer Service. It’s sad and when they do go out if business for not delivering mail or packages on time and also having very poor customer service, I’ll be glad ! Have a good one!

I came here to do a simple return, which I already had the label for in my box sealed the worker was extremely rude and unprofessional, then I told her that I needed to pick up a package but nobody answered the doorbell and she goes that’s because nobody’s back there I said, so does that mean I can’t get it and she goes? What’s your tracking number? I told her I don’t have a tracking number cause my mom ordered it for me. Last time I went to go pick something up. They asked me for my address so that’s what I assumed that needed. I’ve been went to call my mom and she goes. You can come back when you’re done. At this point, I had to hold myself back. This was probably the worst experience I’ve ever had at a US PS if you were that miserable at your you shouldn’t be there.

Customer service is poor package said out for delivery and mail lady came and it wasn’t on the truck called no one picked up the phone so I went to post office told them what was going on they found my package but wouldn’t give it to me cause of no iD even though I had tracking number and emails and picked up mail and packages without ID befor asked for a manager and the employee left came back and helped other customers and didn’t tell me she couldn’t find them until I asked her then when asked for manager number they gave me a number to the building and when asked for extension She acted clueless and the manager not friendly as well I hate that I even have to deal with this post office

USPS has got to have some of the most incompetent people working for them and such a flawed system. Had a big package mailed to me and instead of attempting to bring it to my door, the carrier decided not to complete the delivery. I call the center and tell them not to redeliver and I would just pick it up in the morning. I get there 8:10a and my package isn't there and scheduled for redelivery!!! The size of my package and mailbox is not changing so if you aren't gonna do your job completely, don't bother. I'll get it myself. Now there's a possibility that it'll be the same sh** today. Already a major inconvenience for something I've paid addtl for fast shipping but we'll see

I'm disabled at the present time. So because of my medication and injury I move slow and my brain functions slowly. Today the Clerk in the wheelchair told me that I was too slow and that the line was too long. I felt so humiliated. I can't help but my brain functions slower than normal. It takes a while to form my thoughts and to give an answer. I'm a paying customer just like everyone else. Seems like being in a wheelchair she would have more compassion for other handicapped people. It really hurt my feelings because I'm not used to being this way all I could do in the car is cry. I'm finally getting to witness first hand how handicap people are treated.

After waiting nearly a month for a package to be delivered, tracking it daily. I noticed email indicating that the package was " porch delivered". However it was not delivered at least not to my porch. So I called the local branch, I told the employee the package was not delivered. He said it was insured for $100 and to put a claim in. I filed a claim two days later got a letter declining the claim because they said it was "porch delivered". I think before the USPS goes out of business they may want to follow what the better delivery providers are doing and maybe take a picture of the item that was "porch delivered."

Staff there is courteous to people they're tending to, but if you're like me going for a PKG. pick-up w/ an Orange Slip... they'll act like you don't exist. Waited close to half-an hour before I got out. Never got greeted. Ignored by 3 of the staff between 4:00-4:30. The bell they have had to be rung 4 times by me and one other before finally being tended to. If I didn't say anything or the gentleman behind me ring the bell that last & final time... honest to God, we might've been standing there til' close. I'm sure they have that all on camera if you think any of that is an exaggeration.

The lady at the counter here at the location is so rude and arrogant and seems to be very disrespectful to few people especially immigrants. She literally responds so bad and doesn’t care to smile or talk in a pleasant way to an immigrant person. She seems to be very nice to the person who was right next to me who was an American. I believe Postal services are meant to be to helpful tho everyone and the expectation is the service to what we are paying and she being a government worker it’s sad to see such kind of disrespectful behavior.

This post office has gone down hill dramatically over the last couple of years , multiple lost pieces of mail , some days no pickup of the mail at all, inconsistent pickups and deliveries sometimes early in AM then the next day after 5:PM , The USPS has become a joke and this post office is symptomatic of why the USPS is going to FAIL soon the service is appalling And the USPS probably wonders why it has been reduced to delivering junk mail as most of its business . Hey Post Master General its about CUSTOMER SERVICE !!!!!.

The other reviews I read were spot on to the experience I had as well. Employees were extremely rude and not efficient as far as not letting you get what you need to get done and cutting you off. I left not feeling confident that I accomplished what I needed and lo and behold I didn’t send the letter properly. It was very important but I wasted my money and feel humiliated. Now I have to go make extra copies to resend it again correctly and hope all goes well. I want a refund.

We been having a lot of issues with our mail at 4728 Old Lantern. The have been put it in the mailbox at 4748. Then our mail have been wet and on 6/29/21 our mail was on the ground.. I thought it was a way I could to take to the Postmaster . There is no way you can leave a complaint.We need to know why this is happening in Candlewood Cond. A lot of the people are complaining about their mail. Please check with your mail carriers about this problem.

I am running a business and ship about 30 small boxes a week. I am constantly getting emails from my customers complaining about shipping. I ship on time. I track the packages and watch as they sit in this post office for over 2 days with out moving. I really do not blame the employees. This probably goes to the top. I am sure they are probably under funded and under staffed in the back. They don't care about you unless you are amazon.

Irresponsible and messy. Someone there immediately processed my package as ‘return to sender’ and wouldn’t tell me why or how to have it redelivered. Just an “it never got off the truck, it’s being returned” and a flat shrug about the clerk being off and the carrier being out in his truck so they couldn’t ask either of them why it was returned. What kind of circus is this?

Call them to make sure I had the right post office because they lazy postman/post woman didn’t want to take the packages to the door but try to place in a small mailbox. Had my packages the lady was very rude wouldn’t even let me get a word in to ask a question. I am sorry y’all need to do better with who you staff cause customer service takes you a long way .

Older Black guy wearing veterans hat was so rude & cutting conversations off just to make assumptions before even hearing the reason for the visit is astonishing,he needs to be fired or replaced for his unprofessionalism... This location Needs to either be shut down or clean house & get all new staff/workers...

Had a mail forward to start on a certain date and the carrier took it to mean it started 2 weeks before it did, took all my mail I had in my box out and it just vanished into thin air. Called them several times and they had no idea where mail went and never followed up. Had a gift for someone in my mailbox and now it's gone and I am SOL.

It's interesting to see such negative experiences. Every time I visit this location, the front end team is phenomenal. Every time I approach the counter I feel like the first customer they have interacted with. I don't like lines at all, but I will stand in line here because I know the level of service meets my needs.

The customer service here is amazing! I was in line when I noticed a lady struggling to communicate due to a language barrier. Before I could help, the employee (Luther) saw that she was having trouble and was sweet, patient and helpful. It was really nice to see this kindness in the world. I loved this team ❤️

I was mailing a certified letter early on the morning of 8/2/21. The customer immediately in front of me was mailing a hundred or so packages, but they let myself and another customer in so we could complete our transactions without waiting too long. The service was prompt and courteous.

The person who delivers my mail will not put mail in the mailbox if my dog is in the front yard. My dog has an invisible fence and will not get within 20 feet of the mailbox. The person is rude and they cuss at us. I was expecting an important piece of mail and now I don't have it.

This location has a very bad rating. Not sure what happened because it used to be a good place and the Workers behind the Counter used to be friendly. Now there are new ones and talk to customers any kind of way. Very unfriendly place. Doesn’t even deserve one star.

Absolutely terrible, I mailed two payments out and apparently putting letters from one box into another is real difficult. I now had to cancel two checks (costing me $64) and taxes were not paid on time because of incompetent people. Thanks for nothing.

Received a shoe box with NO shoes in it. There was a message written with a pen “Accepted empty parcel.” But there’s was nothing formal or professional in the computer system stating this. USPS WORKERS ARE STEALING PACKAGES WHILE AT WORK!

GHETTO!!!! Opened my personal mail. Went to inform Management this was NOT the first time! BIG MISTAKE!! She was rude and ghetto. I’m Very dissatisfied. They allowed the opening very personal mail . But ANY mail at all.

Mail gets picked up on time and the box has always available room for the outgoing mail. Please see the attached picture for the pick up times. Also note that there is no pickup on Sundays or on Federal holidays.

Good Customer Service. I went at 11:30 am on a Saturday. The line was very long and I was sure I would be there for over 45 minutes. But the line went fast and the PO Agents were friendly and helpful.

Can't buy stamps from machine unless you have debit/credit card. Very inconvenient if you only need one stamp or have non-traditional work hours.
