I see why this location has such poor reviews. Unbelievable!! They misorted my package and should have delivered a week ago and they still have no idea where it's at!! They finally got the package back, so I said I'll just come pick it up today. An hour after getting off the phone with them, I get a text saying it was on the truck and out for delivery. So ok maybe they decided to deliver today so no point of going to pick it up if it's going to be on a truck. I wait all day and 30 mins before they close I get a text that package was held for customer. After waiting all day!! So I called to see where the package was now. And the women who answered was the most rude and unprofessional representative of any company/service I've ever encountered. She flat out refused to help. She told me I needed to call back tomorrow and talk to someone before 9am!! I asked her if she couldn't just look in their system and tell me where it's at since their still open. She said "I could, but I'm busy tonight" I asked about a supervisor and she said she was the supervisor and said "you think that's all we do?? We do other things here too" in a very aggressive and over the top tone. I could understand if she offered to take my info and call back later or tomorrow, but she just refused to help. What a miserable person! And I still have no idea where my package is at!!

This post office is (if not the) worst post office I have ever been to. It doesn't matter what time of day you go there is always a line...always. God forbid you actually go during a peek time too. They have 5+ stations and rarely have more than 2 people working. There will be a line out the door yet will not open another line even though there are several other people standing around behind the counter who are also trained to do the work. Most (not all) of the workers have poor attitudes and seem not to even care reguardless of your problem. If you speak to a manager you're wasting your time because it's obvious from the look on their face and sharp attitude that they don't care either. I don't believe the managers are even properly trained to be in management to be honest. I seriously don't know how most of the people who work at this location are allowed to keep their job. It's no wonder the postal service is going belly up when you don't have the sense enough to open another window when the lines are out the door. And the untrained managers and employees certainly don't help the problem at all. Seriously... if you want to see exactly how unefficient and SLOW this location is..stop by there sometime and see for yourself. Go anytime you want...doesn't matter. But be sure you have absolutely nothing to do because you will be there for a while.

Called early in the morning at 8 am when they open. I work third shift and get off work at 7 am. I asked about a package that was supposed to be delivered this week according to the tracking services. They said they would ask a the driver for my area and give me a call back. I wait 4 hours later and still no call so I call them back where they put me on hold for 23 minutes and a different lady with no idea what's going on and she puts me on hold for about another 6 minutes before the original guy gets back on the phone saying he will call back again. I go to sleep and wake up at 4 pm. Still no call back. I call around 4:30 pm I ask the woman on the phone if possibly any notes about my previous conversation were noted. Nothing. She hung up and I'm not calling back again because obviously they have no customer service experience whatsoever. So i'm just going to email their customer service online to figure out what's going on. VERY DISAPPOINTED.

This post office is a joke... Starting with the hateful ask supervisor ( lynette)... My package wasnt delivered on dec 23 rd .. and according to the usps tracking said there was a notice left... No there wasn't.. when i went by the post office after i called and it WAS THERE?? It wasnt there... Was told super ( lynette ) needed to speak to carrier to find.. called back next day , she hadnt spoke to carrier and went on to tell me that shes pretty sure it was delivered and carrier hit wrong button... Like i would lie about a 15 dollar game... Then went on to tell me shed research with carrier following monday and call me. Just what ??? Not a word ?? Imagine that ??? Will call to speak to postmaster tomorrow... Its been 16 days since imaginary notice was left....save yourself the trouble.. ship UPS.. this is EXACTLY why the people of the united States have given up on our government and all services they ( half ass supply))... Total B.S.

This place has gone down hill tremendously the passed year let alone the last two years. As well as the mail carrier for the Copeland Mills subdivision (this location is our postal office for this subdivision) for not only myself but neighbors that are getting package slips “sorry we missed you” but have video surveillance that shows the older AA mail lady not getting out of her truck. Or even attempting to knock on doors. I hate to be the one that gives the description or write the negative reviews, but when it constantly happens several times in ONE month alone at my address & others, something needs to be said. The location itself is nice from the outside but along with others... it’s a “shit show” inside the facility. Lines are always out the door, the last few times I’ve had to come here for a package I apparently “missed” while being a stay at home mom. There’s only ever one person behind the counter. *rolls eyes*

A common trend at this location would be non delivery of important documents. We have informed delivery. The piece of mail from Social Security (with extremely sensitive and important information) was scanned and set to be delivered on a Friday. Not only was it not delivered but the envelope was clearly opened in the pic. Still no delivery by the following Wednesday but another picture was sent to us after filing a complaint online. That was two weeks ago and we have yet to receive this envelope. I filed another complaint a few days ago and received a call from a gentleman today. He started by saying that people are stealing mail out of mailboxes and it’s common during the holidays. I said that’s impossible because it was never delivered. He then said they actually never had possession of it and the pictures came from downtown. Very interesting that this is a common theme at this location

Today my mail was not delivered nor was my outgoing mail picked up. Repeatedly my mailbox door is left wide open There is NO mailbox problem. I can easily close the door. Recently a package was left in the box with the door down so anyone could see or take the package. Two days ago the door was down and all my mail was covered in snow. I don't know what is going on to cause this. My regular carrier never had a problem over the years she was delivering. She always went out of her way to be helpful. This is NEW. The local postmaster was called weeks ago, but it continued. Finally I put a note in my mailbox 7 days ago. UPDATE: I left the note in my mailbox to be sure the door was shut. Today (12/5/18) the latch on my mailbox had purposefully been broken and now CANNOT shut. I'm going to have to get a whole new mailbox.

This post office has a bad habit of putting people on hold for long periods of time. and if you are not at home the postwoman will leave the package outside of your apartment door. I work nights and I was lucky enough to find my package still waiting for me when I got home at 10pm. ( it was delivered around 1 most likely)I even left a note in my apartment mailbox requesting that she leave it with the apartment staff. but that note was ignored and she just put the coupon newspaper behind it . One time she even accidentally delivered a package to the wrong person in my apartment complex. My old mailman cared more about my packages in the mail and would even attempt to redeliver it the next day. This place is falling apart when it comes to customer service.

They just set in there trucks and skip houses and stuff when ever you park in your drive way thou it's the only spot to park and keep in mind the parking spot is on the property but they will skip my mailbox because the worker is to lazy to get out and do his or her job like seriously it's like 10ft to most mailbox or less anymore it's shameful really shameful people have to be lazy and not do there jobs u guys get paid like 30 an hour for what to set in a mail truck and not get out Intel it's time to eat or go home I missed mail weeks at a time because they aren't doing there job it's old and mail is bills so no wonder why so many people are running behind on bills because they can't do there jobs.

These workers have poor and complete control of this business. Is there a manager or if there is, does corporate know how terrible this location is?!? Two people working to get the line moving and two at front laughing and carrying on. If you aren’t on the clock, cool, but don’t hang out by the front lobby where paying customers can see and hear you ignore us. Connie who works here could care less if you are taken care of or not. She was rude, doubtfully trained, and had zero urgency, although the line behind me grew and grew. I was NOT shocked to see such poor reviews. This is our postal service and the only thing they seem to care about servicing is their time-clock by being clocked in.

I have never had a problem at this post office. When I go in the early hours, there is almost never a line. Everyone there, from my experience, has been courteous, even friendly. I mailed a package to my husband who needed parts of his miltary uniform. I wasn't sure how to send it, but they helped determine the shipping method, priority overnight, it was waaaay less expensive than UPS or FedEX, and it got there exactly when they said it would. I appreciate the work they do. Since the post office has had to cut their budget, they are doing a great job with what they have. Being a customer service employee, I know how difficult it is to work efficiently and courteously. They do good work!

Was waiting on some important medical papers to arrive via signature required envelope. Was at home, but no one showed up, then when I went to check the mail, there is an orange slip stating that an attempt was made to deliver and to contact the post office for redelivery. I went online and entered the information for redelivery, but it still wasn't redelivered. I called the post office and was told that it would be a 1.5 hour wait. What has happened to our postal system? I feel like I'm in a third world country right now...Pony Express was faster. Still haven't received my envelope and it's not something that can be reconstituted...

I opted in to receive photos of mail pieces each morning of the day my mail arrives.... ill get the photos of important letters and those letters do not ever get delivered. I have an important mail piece arriving from the Indiana State Police that we so desperately need and it was supposed to be here Monday but they didnt deliver as pictured in my deliveries for the day photo. This is unacceptable. Same with a letter from the unemployment office months back that never got delivered. I believe something is going on with my important mail. And everytime I go into the post office, the people there are so rude and unprofessional

why is it that this place cannot seem to deliver a single package without having problems? I have been waiting on a package for an entire month to be delivered, just sitting at this facility. Another package today says it was delivered but found no where. A perishable package that was supposed to be delivered yesterday was not even attempted and they simply left their notice that I could pick it up, it’s supposed to be redelivered today but no updates and no information. customer service is a joke if you can even an agent on the phone. how is this place even still up and running the way it is???

I don't have any issues with the office but with the workers who deliver the mail. It is never one consistent person, but multiple who deliver in the neighbor I live in. They always deliver my mail to the wrong address, or put my mail in the wrong mailbox. I am tired of this. This is rediculous! Most of my important mail is always missing and some random person drops it off. When delivering packages, they don't knock on the door at all! They are lazy!!!! They don't care! I understand whats going on with this virus, but they have been this way since I've lived here for a year now.

It took forever to get them to actually answer their phone just for them to have an attitude and talk to me rudely and with no patience and understanding. Camby post office told me mail forwarding takes 3-4 days and this one (which is unfortunately my post office) is telling me 10-14 and that I can't even pick up my mail. She LAUGHED when I told her what camby told me. I can't STAND the ladies who work here. They're trashy and unprofessional. Unless you HAVE to go here, I would highly recommend going go the camby post office down the road.

My my package details online was stated as delivered 10 days ago and it never was. I filed a complaint 7 days ago and was told I would be reached in 24 hours. I waited until Thursday to call even though I was told I would be reached Thursday. Every time I call, if it doesn't just ring forever, I am met with attitude as soon as the person answers the phone. I am then put on hold and never returned to. I will be going in today and having a word with a supervisor and no one else. This is ridiculous. Poorly run place with bad customer service.

Some of the kindest, most helpful people work the Business Mail Entry Unit here. I daresay I left in a better mood than when I came in! The United States Postal Service is a treasured relic from times gone by. Just visiting to buy stamps brings me back to what I imagine my grandparents might call "a simpler time." I strongly suspect that all the one star reviews are from people who had bad attitudes about the post office. When waiting in line, put your phone away, be patient, and strike up a conversation with the strangers around you.

I've come here twice for passport appointments and both times, they have told us they don't have a passport person right now. We have made the appointments 1 month between and its unbelievable that they still do not have a passport person. Instead of letting people know that you cannot make an appointment, they let you believe you have an appointment so you can waste your time showing up so they can cancel and tell you that they don't have a passport person right now. I hope that this terrible service is changed very soon.

My son and I needed passports and the staff at this location was beyond helpful. They walked us through the process and once the appt was set they did an amazing job at getting the passport documents and application gathered swiftly. I've had to utilize this location over the last 6 years for everything from having a P.O box to shipping over 60 individually packed books to purchasers once my book was published. I have only great things to say about the staff at this location.

I do quite a bit of online ordering and I have yet to have a packaged delivered. There is always an excuse and when you call them its the most infuriating experience. I waited 4 days for the parts and when I checked tracking it said it was undeliverable because no such address existed. Even though they deliver there every day and actually received other mail that day. No misprints, no signature card, nothing. Typical government agency. From now on its fed ex, ups, or nothing.

I am new to the area and I ordered a special package for my fiance. We never got it but the post office says they delivered. I live on a dead end street with only eight houses on the block. I am home all day and I know the package was not delivered. When I called to find out what they could do they told me NOTHING. Now I am out of a package and the 55 dollars that it cost me. They told me they would return my call and they never did. ABSOLUTELY THE WORST POSTAL SERVICE EVER.

I have had multiple issues with the manager and employees not caring about helping or even attempting to I watched the manager “go check” for my package and stand off to the side and came 10 seconds later telling me no they don’t have it and they only unload trucks certain times all bc It was a foreign mailed package he even said they had a package from China and that’s where mine was coming from 0 effort 0 customer service this place needs everyone fired and replaced

I ordered online from Etsy. My package was shipped promptly. However, it's been at this sorting facility for 4 days and hasn't been sorted yet. Now, I won't get my package on time for a birthday party this weekend. Thanks a lot for allowing me to waste time and money because you all can't do your job. My other package traveled through hurricane stricken eastern NC and STILL made it to my house on time as stated in the tracking information. SORRY SERVICE!!!!!!

I’m being generous with one star. They don’t deserve it. They never get packages delivered on time lady that answered direct line to this post office should be fired for being so rude and no help. Asked to speak to someone who had half a brain and no luck had to call 5 times in a row before I got someone I will use fedex from now on now I know why no one is using post office anymore I hope the lady that was rude gets as hard a time as I did

If my usual mail man doesn't deliver my package, there's always a problem. And of course whenever I go to the post office they never know the status of my package. Forget about calling because there is always a 45 minute or more wait time and sometimes the call will drop. I also get false package delivered notifications, I usually have to call to have the package redelivered for it to actually be delivered. All time sad service.

When your mail runs between 2 and 3 everyday!! You have a passage and tracking said it's out for delivery, and your mail runs st 1130 ,, your stuff not there,, then you call and they tell you giver it time they will pro bring it back,,, well I don't have it and mail don't run till Tuesday!!! My package is 4 days past delivery date because it's been sitting at this post office. When I called them they told me in a very business like tone that this is a sorting facility and I would have to call my local post office. They both have crappy service with crappy employes. When I can I spend a little extra and pick UPS or Fedex for a shipping option for delivery of packages. I have much better service that way.

This is the most horrible facility that I've ever had to deal with. The girl on the phone was very rude and kept telling me to contact my local post office. They've played their part now play yours. It makes no sense that my packages has been floating from Atlanta to the Indianapolis post office back to Memphis for over a week and I paid for 2 day priority shipping. I had ordered food for my rabbits 4/26/2016 expecting it at the latest, 4/30/2016, mind you this was a 2 DAY PRIORITY ORDER! Said package was sent out the 27th and sat in this "place" from the 28th of April to the 10th of May! I finally called the 800 # to try to track down my box, got my local Postmaster involved and received the package this morning! Someone needs a new job over there!!!!! Extremely angry!!

Package was guaranteed delivery for 12/30/2016...it is now 1/3/2017 and I still have not received this package. Attempted to call the office to hopefully schedule a pick up and the call rang for approximately 5 minutes with no answer and then the call automatically disconnected. I am truly unsatisfied with how this is being handled. I will direct all future packages away from USPS and this site specifically.

I sent an item on 11/28 with 2 day shipping and was told it would be there Saturday. It did not show. I went on Monday to get a refund and was told it could take 2-3 days to be shipped and that they only refund Express mail. At this time it has still not been delivered and is in transit. This is completely unacceptable and a fraud. I basically spent more double the money on normal delivery. Shame on USPS!!

It was Saturday morning around 11am. I had the pleasure of being serviced by Jayla. I am a traveling nurse, not so familiar with the area. Jayla was very pleasurable and knowledgeable about what items I needed for mailing and gave great suggestions! There were 3 people in front of me and it took me less than 15mins to reach the service counter. The process was easy, in and out. Thank you so much Jayla!

We have had three packages misdelivered in the last 3 months one was medicine my husband needed to avoid stroke. We went to the post office and they gave us the address where the package was delivered but we never retrieved it. It seems to be a common problem in our neighborhood we are at 6432 Emerald Springs Drive Indianapolis Indiana. Many neighbors are having the same issue it's an ongoing problem.

This is, BY FAR, the WORST zip code on Earth. A returned package I sent has been there 5 days! When I called to give an associate the tracking number I was cut off and told to call my post office. She wasn't going to talk to me, and any request to locate a package (even at her zip!) had to be requested by email from my zip office. Then she HUNG UP on me. I wish I could give a "No Star" rating.

My daughter's dogs know when he is close and they stand at the fence waiting for him cause they know that their human friend has a goodie for them! Called to see about the NALC food drive and they acted like they had never heard of it!! Also, make sure you get a receipt from this post office - I returned an $80.00 dress to the manufacturer and they never received it - I was out the dress and the $80.00!! Terrible customer service!! My mail comes out of here, but I never go there for anything!! Rude and don't seem to know anything!!

I bought a package on October 28. Said was going to be here on 30. Then Nov 2. Then today I just got notified from Nov 4 all the way till now "Nov 6" that it was late,late, late, going to a new usps. And then you never gave me a new date when it will be here. It is still on Nov 2. This is just wrong when you pay good money and its the slowest in the business during this pandemic.

Most of the time I don’t have issues. Today the mail person walked around my house, ASSUMED no one was home. Didn’t knock. My oldest was home. Then this person sees me behind his truck, with my turn signal on because the truck was blocking my driveway. Doesn’t deliver my package, instead leaves the “Package Undeliverable” sticker on my mail.

I was waiting for an important legal document and someone found it open on the road. When I reported the issue, the manager called me and forced me to believe that the carrier never made the mistake of not delivering the mail and never lost any mails. Instead, the manger said there is a thief who is stealing stuff from people's mailboxes.

This USPS sort facility really sucks. I order a lot of products online, and anytime my packages come through here they get stuck for several days. I have this problem with no other sort facility. I also don't have this problem with FEDEX OR UPS! This is what happens when our federal government is in charge. Inefficiency at its finest!

I live in another state and order online regularly and have yet had the postal service not screw up something. This particular package was to be delivered on 2/12/17 and all I see is it making it's way to various post offices in Indianapolis, IN. It makes me think your employees are overpaid since they can not do the job correctly.

This location is a joke I had a appointment for 04/05/21 at 2:15 pm I left my job which is on the Southside just to get here & be told there system is down and they can't do passports someone should have called me & my husband to let us know this before we left or jobs picked up our 6 month old and came all the way down here

I have used this post office for many years and the people working there have always been friendly and polite. I have the best mail carrier and whenever I go to this location they always do their best to help. I will say it seems like they need more help at the front counter during peak times. The lines can get backed up.

Sadly, this is my local post office! And most of the time when I order stuff online, it's always put in the wrong mailbox. And nowadays when someone else gets a package that doesn't have their name on it they want to be nosey and open it and then you never get it! It's really not that hard to match up the right address!

Family lived in the area of this branch for over 40 years. Entire branch went downhill over the past couple years, from careless, lazy carriers who may or may not deliver your mail, to dismissive, mean people in the office who couldn't care less about it. Worst group of government employees I have ever encountered.

I moved to this area 9/18 and sometimes I get mail, sometimes I don't. My W2 was returned to sender, the carrier wrote on the envelope, property vacant. Hello, I live here, why was my mail returned? I am so afraid that my mail is not getting to me!!! I'm contacting the postmaster general. This is unacceptable!!

I'm not sure what is up with some of the problems mentioned here, but it is a "post office". There are good days and there are bad days. Most of the time I have had a decent experience and the staff has been helpful. I think as long as you leave your attitude at the door you will get what you need accomplished.

I went inside this evening 9/07/22 at 5:30. It appeared to be closed. The inside was dark, no lights on. I knew the post office was supposed to still be open, so I tried the door. It was unlocked & a lady was talking loudly in the back. Then an employee came to the counter & worked in the dark. STRANGE

I submitted a mail hold for 4/11-4/22. Our mail has been delivered EVERY DAY during the hold. I called the PO 2x and was told it would be stopped. Luckily we have a neighbor that has agreed to check it daily since our postal person is incompetent. Wish we had other options than the USPS.

Paid for Priority Mail because a document had to be at an address in High Spring Florida by a certain deadline. These people sent it to Philadelphia PA and delivered it to a business in Philly, instead of the residence in High Springs FL to which it was addressed. Ridiculous.

Likely the worst attitudes I’ve ever witnessed at a post office in my 50 years. What I thought would’ve been something so simple turned out to be so complicated for these individuals. Also, very easy to recognize racial favoritism at this location.

I had a customer send me a return and to idiots at my post office returned it back to customer saying ardradd was not found. LMAO so he sent it again on 8/31 and as of 9/5 it was returned to customer a 3rd time saying my address is not valid.

These people don't know how to work their job at all,they always put complain complain after that, The mail people didnt even bother to pick up our mail even when the flag was up, they won't take a complaint from us they just give us excuses.

Seems to be an ongoing theme with this office. Second time in less than a month, delivery driver leaves tracked mail in wrong mailbox. It's numbers and letters you just have to match up where it belongs! Third grade elementary at most!

I don't even live in Indianapolis and my package is lost , the usps in my area told me to contact them and she would as well when I called the usps in Indianapolis the woman was awfully rude and snobby and interrupted me several times.

Horrible service. Try calling for information and the people running the office will pick the phone up and hang up on you. If you do get to talk to somebody the only answer you get is 'I don't know.' Absolutely horrible service.

My girlfriend spoke with Ben over the phone. Not only was speaking with Ben a complete waste of her time, but he was so condescending and rude she had to hang up to speak with an employee who treats women like adults.
