Worst post office and letter carrier. Packages constantly delivered to neighbors who have to bring them to us. Lightweight envelope left on porch on a windy day and blew away, found by someone a block away and delivered to us. 2 weeks prior to going on a 10 day vacation I filled out an Auhorization to Hold Mail form and handed it to our letter carrier. He stuck it on the dashboard of his mail truck and left. 2 days before we left, I called the post office to verify they were holding our mail. They had never received the form and asked me to come to the post office and fill out another one in person, which I did. We returned from vacation to find TEN DAYS WORTH OF MAIL crammed into our tiny mailbox, and three packages left on our porch (which our neighbor was kind enough to collect for us). I called the post office, furious. The "manager" was completely unprofessional, claiming our letter carrier was "one of the best they have." He said he would talk to him about the issue and call me back. He never called me back. I finally called USPS directly and they walked me through how to file complaints online, explaining that it's important to use the same drop-down menus each time you file a complaint. After 3 complaints from the same customer using the same drop-down menus, the complaints are escalated to the head office and investigated. It's the only way to get your complaints heard.

Staff at the office are great...... The carriers....Not so much.... We've been dealing with issues since we built our house and moved in 1.5 years ago. More than a dozen times packages have been marked as "delivered" and either been left at the wrong address, put in the wrong box, or not delivered. Most recent example : Amazon package was supposed to be delivered on a Sunday. USPS site and Amazon both show said item as delivered at 6 PM Sunday evening. We didn't receive anything. I checked the cluster box and with neighbors, but nothing. I take time out of the office Monday to go to the station. I provide the tracking # and info showing item as delivered. Staff at station advises me "Oh he didn't deliver it. He marked it as delivered because he was supposed to deliver it, but he got tired and didn't finish deliveries. He is going to deliver it today." Rep at office made it very clear it's not acceptable and doesn't know why the carrier did that, but she insinuated that he/she does it on a regular basis. Glad I took time out of my day to track down a package that should've never been marked as delivered. There is a 50/50 shot that items are actually received. I've never hoped for anyone to lose their job, but I would be happy if someone is held accountable for the cluster f*** that is this post office.

This post office definitely deserves no stars!! I have had multiple packages not arrive or be delivered but the tracking information will be shown as delivered or handed over to someone when I never seen them. The representatives are rude and unhelpful!! A package was sent to me and was listed as delivered but being that a few days passed I was questioned as to “why did I wait so long to say something” instead of the rep providing helpful information. I explained that I had to get the tracking info from the sender to be able to check status and trying to give the carrier benefit of the doubt during the delay I waited a few days. The rep slept circulating the reason why there’s no information to help due to the days that passed mind you it snowed a few of the days I waited. My latest package was scanned as delivered but did not make it to my home but another package that same day shows as handed over to customer but was placed on my porch with no bell ring or knock!! My last time calling I was encouraged to file a complaint online but it clearly stated online that misdelivery complaints are handled by local offices. I guess it was just a way to get me off there line.

Would never advocate for job loss but please shut this worthless sub station down. Cannot deliver mail at all and when they do not correctly. Will regularly scan items as delivered that aren't then can't find them. Have watched carriers sitting outside my house then will get an email saying package delivered and they drive off, never leaving their vehicle. When you complain or file lost package requests are basically told "oh well" if you even get that much of a response. Of course considering the moment they scan anything delivered that negates your ability to get a refund from where you bought the item being sent. They never call back, ever. You never talk to the same person twice and everyone you do speak to pleads ignorance of pretty much all postal processes and procedures. I cannot fathom how this substation remains open. I'd rather have to go and dog for my own mail in a giant bin every morning then trust these carriers with the task of taking addressed mail from point A to B.

Massive thank you to the workers here! I had some important packages being delivered today. When I checked their status it said that it had been sent back to the post office at the customers request! I started to panick because I had been home all day and spoken to no one. I called up and Carol answered. I explained to her what had happened. She found my packages immediately and found out the problem was that they had sub on our route today and they thought my mail was still on hold from the previous week.(We had lost our keys to the mailbox and were going to order new ones before the old ones showed up and we cancelled the hold.) She said she would make sure they still got delivered today. No longer than an hour had passed and the manager was at my door with my packages in hand! I was blown away with the professionalism and wonderful customer service! Thank you again so much!

This is one of the worst places of business ever. These mail carriers are so damn lazy. They scan it as either delivered or tried to deliver when it wasn't delivered. No notice is ever left. They scan so they don't have to deliver it that day. The people at the office never NEVER answer the phone. I seriously can't believe half of these people even have a damn job! You deal with people freaking money here! Don't freaking scan something as delivered when it wasn't delivered! And don't deliver it to the wrong freaking address!! How hard is it to read a freaking address and get it right? I'm so fed up with this crap. Why isn't there a way to leave a formal complaint? Why don't these managers or supervisors make sure their locations are run accurately? This is just beyond ridiculous.

They call me and ask me to call them back. 10 attempts to call back and no one will answer the phone. Attempted the number on google and no answer just flatlines the phone. Address was incorrect by the sender. So I’ve been back and forth just trying to add my apartment number to the package and it’s like everyone doesn’t know how to do their job. Gave the guy a lot the annex my tracking number and he tells me “it doesn’t exist”. Well I’m staring at the number on my phone so how does it not exist? Even the USPS customer service package help line told me he didn’t know what he was saying because they found my tracking number just fine. All this over a Christmas gift that who knows if I’ll even see it by Christmas when I ordered it over a month ago. I just want my DAMN PACKAGE

Horrible! I have way to much trouble getting my mail. I live in an apartment and are a hardship so my mail is to be delivered to my door. They have a bunch of different carriers that deliever instead of just 1 regular carrier and 9 times out of 10 i don't get my mail and when I do it is delivered to the wrong box and a neighbor brings it to me! Today I received a message stating a package was out for delivery and the mail had come already. Called the post office to only be told that my package was there! He said I could come by and get it. I said I can't drive so no, I can't. He said he'd try to see if someone could bring it to me. Wow. I thought it was through rain, sleet, snow and so on, not "try"! They need 1 person to do this route, not several!

This facility is terrible. They often deliver our mail and packages to incorrect addresses. As long as the number is the same, that's where it's going. I feel like I should be getting paid by USPS, since I deliver my neighbors' mail to them on a regular basis. We've had items stolen from mail they opened; items that say they were delivered but never were; and one item that was scanned at this facility then "delivered" to a completely different ZIP code moments later and was never seen again. This facility should be closed. I'm sure there are a few good people here, but this type of garbage is obviously SOP for the rest of the workers here. Others here have stated laziness, but I think it's much more methodical than that.

Worst post office I have ever had the displeasure of doing business with. We paid for overnight shipping to be delivered today. Sitting here at the house waiting for my package and I get a notice they can't deliver as the "business" is closed today. The didn't even come by. I can even rewind the entire day on camera and prove they didn't even drive down the street. Called customer service....they say they can't re deliver today and will not credit me back the extra shipping costs to have it over nighted. Spent 40 minutes on the phone with customer service who could care less about his job than anyone I have ever spoke with. TERRIBLE. I don't know why anyone ever ships USPS!!!!!

Absolutely terrible I've had two packages listed as "attempted/undeliverable" while I was home. The first time, the carrier chose to list it as undeliverable because the box wouldn't fit in the mailbox with all the junkmail so she just took it with her. Today, I actually watched the mail get delivered from my open garage door. Absolutely no attempt made at all. Three pieces of junk mail, no sign of the package I actually wanted. The supervisor I met with at the facility wasn't bad, but he clearly knows he has a group of terrible carriers that just don't make an effort. And don't bother calling the actual distribution center at this address, you'll just get a busy signal.

Unfortunately, I have to give them at least 1 star to rate them, but they don't even deserve that. The mail lady that comes to Gracemor is rude and incompetent. And the people in the office are all morons. I've called 3 times in the past week and each time they "take my phone number" and say that a supervisor will call me that day and they never do. Our mail lady knows we've been trying to track down our mail that she lost, and she knows that's why I have been calling, so yesterday when my boyfriend went out to try to talk to her, she put in her headphones really quickly and tried to run away and pretend like she didn't hear him calling her.

I can’t rely on them being open for their posted hours. It’s currently 4:19 and for the second day in a row they are already closed. It hadn’t happened for a few months for some reason but was happening at least once a week for several months. Part of the problem too is, they leave all of the inside lights on after they lock up, so you don’t know they are closed until you get to the locked door, having taken your packages out of your vehicle, which for some I know can be quite a few sometimes. Even when they are open, it takes an eternity for them to answer if I need them to receive a package that doesn’t fit through the slots in the lobby.

This place is a joke. Anytime I have had to come here because they held my mail, they look for it for 10 minutes, then come back empty handed. They claim that the mail was held at my request and is available for pickup, which is a lie, then, when I show up, they cannot produce the package, so they effectively waste my time. The postman that is dispatched from here continues to put mail in my box from the previous residents. He also enjoys sticking boxes into the letter box that are almost impossible to remove from the customer end, instead of just putting it into the dedicated package receptacle. This place is disgraceful.

I didn’t personally understand how big these facilities are. At 4:30PM there were 5 people working desperately to get packages and mail sorted/organized for the next day. Even still, Laverna was more than willing to stop what she was doing to help me understand a strange package coding when an expensive item was late showing up, and took 45 minutes at the end of her day to turn the entire facility upside down to help me locate my package. That level of commitment to your work and the people you serve is incredible. The team at Barry road USPS deserves to be recognized and appreciated for their outstanding service.

This post office is the worst!!! They picked up a package from Amazon that was going to be delivered a day early and I needed to reschedule the delivery. I called for 30 mins straight and it was either busy or rang for 5 mins straight. Finally someone did pick it up and I guess they just set it down….. the call didn’t disconnect but they refused to say anything. So now my package will be delivered tomorrow, when I’m not home, inside my apartment building, where it will get stolen - because it always does. I’m furious. It’s REALLY unfortunate that a person can’t change their post office…… this one blows!!!!

I dread receiving packages through this post office, I've had so many problems with this specific location over the years. Packages just not delivered, packages I'm shipping not being picked up, packages left in the wrong mailboxes at my old apartment complex, and good luck trying to get ahold of them. The phone line is always either busy, it rings forever, or they pick up and immediately hang up. Then if the driver doesn't have time to deliver it that day, they'll mark it as "held at post office at customer's request" rather than being redelivered the next day, make it make sense

This post office cannot be trusted with our mail. Mortgage check sent in outgoing mail was never picked up. Resulted in stop payment and online payment. Packages were left at incorrect addresses many times. One of the worst was a neighbor had something liquid delivered. The mail service decided it was okay to deliver despite the fact that it was dripping all over the other boxes and sidewalk. Oh and that too was left at the wrong house. Keys made take 15 days to receive. Zero pride in their work. This all took place within one month of moving into this location.

I just moved to the area about a month ago. The mail man carrier Stefan Magnusson is the best I’ve ever had. He is very polite and thoroughly enjoys his job. I sale occasionally on eBay and he always picks up my packages to be shipped. In the past most mail carries hate package pick ups and complain about it or do not even pick up the packages after I schedule it. Stefan never minds and says it’s part of his duties. I hope he gets promoted to a full time position on my route. He would be a great addition the the local post office team.

I gave a 1 star but that is more than they deserve. After returning from Vacation and wishing to pick up mail collected during a MAIL HOLD "Someone" came to the window in a chambray shirt with no name tag. ten minutes later she state that no mail was being held. When I stated that i had a mail hold confirmation her answer was have you check you mail box they may have delivered it today! I then Stated that the mail hold request that the did not delivery it. to this she sad sorry!! I ask to speak to a supervisor and she said "SPEAKING"

My mail carrier delivers to wrong mailbox all the time! When I call to complain there's no answer. A stimulus check was put in the wrong mailbox. Now that I have my maiden name back my social security card was just putting it in the wrong mailbox so now somebody has my social security number and several packages have been delivered to the wrong house in our neighborhood. We have cluster boxes and that's not my choice but it's ridiculous that I'm very important mail or any mail at all is consistently delivered to the wrong box

This is extremely frustrating! When you have a tracking number and the package is our "out" for delivery and it does not get delivered, or its in "transit" for days!! This happens on a regular basis! Then they say per customers request the package is being help at the post office, which I NEVER requested! Or they sent it to another facility!! How is this aloud to happen on a weekly basis? How can it be allowed for our mail to simply NOT be delivered? I know there must be a policy for the mail carriers to deliver mail.

I would give 0 stars if it was possible. Every package that was to be delivered USPS the past 3 months hasn’t been delivered. They claim it be to “delivered” but never shows up. When I call customer service, they say to file a police report. They won’t provide any information on the carrier.. that is clearly stealing packages. They’ve taken jewelry, countless Amazon packages & more. Try to avoid using USPS as much as possible. Missing insurance cards, missing bank statements, etc. AWFUL!

Several of my packages have gone missing through this post office even when they’re marked as delivered, when I call about them I’m told that they were probably put in the wrong box and there’s nothing they can do for me. My roommate has even had a package delivered, sealed with nothing inside. After days of pestering the game was returned to us and we were told it had fallen out. Of a sealed package? I’m 100% sure if they think your package could be valuable, it goes ‘missing’.

Jan 20, 2022 - I had the flag up on my mailbox so that mail person would pick up mail. They speeded right past without even slowing down. Service stinks!! I had my mail held while on vacation, and requested it to begin redelivery on the date I returned. It is now 2 full days past the date I returned, and my mail held mail has still not been delivered. If you try to call the phone number, it is ALWAYS busy! I'm beginning to wonder if they have just taken the phone off the hook.

I had a package that was supposed to be delivered, they claimed they delivered it but left no notice that they took it back to the post office. I called themy and they said it'd be here today because they were re-shipping it back here. They did not bring my package today as I figured they wouldn't, now I have to wait until Monday for my medication and hopefully I won't have to go to the hospital. Thanks a lot guys... if I end up at the hospital there's going to be a problem.

I have had issues with this location at two separate addresses. At neither address could they seem to produce a key to my mailbox. I wound up going up there and requesting that they hold my mail for my current address until I finally get a key. Went up there today and they couldn't find any of my mail. A few of the items I went to pick up were important so this is very upsetting. Also, still no mailbox key after all that. How can any place run like this?

Marked an item of mine delivered and NEVER delivered it. No one answers the phone. Customer service is absolutely awful. I watched a postman smoke a cigarette in front of my house for 3-5 minutes, so clearly he has time to do that but no deliver the mail correct. My mailbox has been left open multiple times. I have informed delivery and 7/10 don't get what is scanned it. It's ridiculous. WHO runs this place and HOW do they still have a job?

The federal people needs to investigate these mail clerks and mailman. Mail isn’t being Delivered and it says it was . They opened my IRS paper . Always deliver mail in the wrong box . This isn’t a small thing it’s Big problem. I have the USPS app on what mail is coming and it says Delivered but wasn’t . I don’t get ALL my mail. My credit cards has been stolen My Drivers license been stolen My child social security card has been stolen!

If I could give tham zero stars I would... mail up until has been disrespectful at best... mail on the ground, mailbox left open. Packages and mail crumpled in the mailbox... but now, I haven't gotten mail for the last four days... 5 days... I thought it was a federal law that the mail was AT LEAST be delivered. Complaining to the site manager does not good... I'm doing my best to bump it up to the next level. This has to end.

I have been waiting on packages to be delivered after being told they would be delivered on both days by the same person answering the phone, completely lied to twice. Also the packages aren’t being delivered because the carrier says the door or driveway isn’t accessible, also completely false and a lie, the snow has cleared away on the street and the driveway is and has been shoveled. Just pure laziness and dishonesty.

We are new to this area and so far not impressed...missed a package yesterday, but the notice wasn't delivered until today, instead of yesterday when it should have been delivered. I was home when they arrived tonight and they delivered a package to my door, but didn't knock to get my signature for the package I missed yesterday. Our mail didn't come for three days this past week and when it does come it's very late.

They freaking had my package out for delivery since 6:10am and their butts couldn’t manage to deliver my package today at all and yet I was told it would be here today. This place needs better delivery times and deliver when they are suppose and stop play games with peoples packages. I hate the usps system. I never ship anything with them anymore.

Moved from 64151 to 64119. Waiting on my subdivision box key for almost 3 weeks now, but also have no mail though I know I am getting mail. They say it could be in Boulder Colorado! I did not stop or hold my service so it should be at this location. This is just another example of why they need to be privatized. I would like to get a large group together to officially lodge a complaint about this postal office.

This isn’t much of a retail location, but is more of a prepaid location. Not a problem for me since I only ship paid postage mail. Never had an issue with mail being delayed or delivered late at this location but they do have issues transferring mail to a new address even when I signed up for it twice. Staff is friendly but it does occasionally take time for them to answer the door.

The worst postal carriers in the country work here.Won't answer the phone ever, don't wear official uniforms, can't read adresses or know what street they are on as long as house number is the same. Hire monkeys they would be better glad my taxes pay the stupids to have a job.Sorry I'm ranting but no words describe how much they suck.

My community mailbox rusted so bad that it toppled over. I called this office, they sent me to another office, which sent me back here. Eventually, someone answered the phone again (with an attitude) and had no clue what was going on, despite me explaining the situation as simply as possible. So, tell me, USPS... WHERE IS MY MAIL AND WHEN ARE YOU FIXING THE MAIL BOX?

This is hands down the worst post office I've had to deal with. They are the laziest most incompetent people I've ever had to deal with. They mark packages as delivered or as tried to deliver yet the packages never show up. Even after repeated calls to the post office trying to work out issues things never get resolved. This is the worst post office ever. Everyone is also so rude. I had a package the said was delivered but it was not delivered to my address. They delivered to the wrong address. They said the person sent it back but can no longer track it. They loose so many packages i work for a apartment complex and we get so many complaints about packages not being delivered.

Had an issue with a package I sent out, and within fifteen minutes of calling, they had found my package and answered all my questions. A particular shout-out to the supervisor there (Lavern, I believe) who couldn’t have been more helpful. As a small business owner, I really appreciate her responsiveness, professionalism, and overall awesomeness. Thank you all!

Worst post office ever. Can’t keep track of where your mail is. We signed up to have our mail scanned and get an email of what is supposed to be delivered. Have at times had some of the mail delivered on time and the other delivered the next day. How does that happen They have even lost track of mail we have them hold during vacations! What a joke

My mail has been missing/stolen by one of their employees & the manager sucks at trying to figure out what happened with my package! My package said “out for delivery” for two weeks! The manager never called me back about the situation or anything! I wouldn’t trust them to handle anyone’s personal items! Wish I could give them a negative rating!

I hear the stories of short staffed but our mail delivery is ridiculous. Get mail 2 days in a row, then none for 3 or 4 days. I got Informed Delivery from USPS app which shows what mail SHOULD be delivered that day. I see I have important legal papers there and I am worried it will take days before delivery. Very dissatisfied with this post office.

If there was a way that I could rate this place lower then 1 star, I would. Everything that everyone here says is true. This place really is as terrible as it seems. I can’t even hear what the workers are saying over the phone, nobody does anything and I can’t get any support on anything, unless I go all the way over there to get it resolved.

This has got to be the laziest most disrespectful places on earth. They tell you lies and accuse you of messing up. If you ever have a package mishap good luck getting help from the lazy person answering phones. I'm not shocked that she has this job because only miserable people could do it. After living 17 years at my address the post office decided that I moved and took the mail in my locked mailbox leaving a card for the new resident to fill out. Not the first issue I've had between getting others mail and something saying delivered but doesn't show up for days. I will be finding out today when they open where my mail is!

They take forever to send things out after they receive them. Especially as for me I have bracelets for myself and my kidney failure and need the bracelets for letting people know how to get tested for a living donors. And now I have to once again wait for them to get off there asses and forward mail not just mine but whoever else .

Worthless and lazy! Notification from Amazon for a failed delivery on 1/2/2016. Says "incorrect address".....address never changed and they delivered my orders on 12/31 just fine. Funny that a huge percentage of my neighborhood didn't receive mail on 1/2/2016. And the USPS wonders why they are in such financial trouble?

Absolutely terrible. Tried calling them 50 times today with no answer. Mail is always "undeliverable as addressed" even though my address is correct so my package never gets to me and most of the time gets sent back to sender. If I would've known this when moving, I probably would have not moved to this address.

I had my mail held and specifically selected that i would pick it up from the post office. When I get there I'm told that they went ahead and delivered my mail...but they didn't. I have 2 bills that never showed up. I could have gotten late charges for their inability to do exactly what the mail hold said.

This is the 2nd time in 2 years they have placed a parcel marked "Do not bend" in a tiny apartment mailbox slot. And complaining gets you nowhere, because if you go in to the office, they refer you to the website and give an insincere apology. Maybe hold the letter carriers accountable for their mistakes.

I go days without getting the mail, I have time sensitive mail incoming and they just won’t deliver. I seen the mail man on my street going to random houses, but I guess they just do whatever. I get an email of what I’m supposed to receive so I know they just aren’t delivering.

For the 5th - and now FINAL time - I've had something shipped to my home via USPS. The info on the website says it was delivered, yet I do not have the pkg and the USPS can provide no information. I will no longer be shipping via USPS if it has to go through this post office.

The officers inside the post offices do not care about if the bell rings or not. They made me wait 15 minutes and doid not even respond. When they like to open the door and care to get your prepeid labeled box. They laugh enjoy but not answer or check the door for 15minutes.

They never answer the phone and we go days with no mail and not to mention everyone around here has issues with the mail truck being MIA for days at a time or our mail being in wrong box . I will be filing complaints federal and state. This location is the absolute worst

No wonder why USPS is running out of business. Some employees at this location don't even bother to check the bins for mails left in there or not. They just don't care. Whoever the postmaster at this location needs to do his/her job better at training their employees.

Service is terrible, I've had to go and pick up my mail over 8 times due to mail carrier not delivering. No explanition or excuss except he has an attitued. Management will not help, they all cover for one another. Look at thier rating, less than 2 stars

Worst postal service ever. Fraudulently mark packages delivered when they have not been. Two scheduled Sunday deliveries in a row have not been delivered but they mark them as they had been. I wish they would just privatize the USPS, yesterday.

My neighbors and I have not received any mail since the Wednesday before Thanksgiving. This must occur every time a postal employee goes on vacation. They keep raising prices but the service keeps getting worse. Just go back to using the pony.
