When I came to US 9 years a go I didn't want to change my regular dentist from Romania so I was getting my dental care when I was able to get back to Romania. 6 years a go I had to go here for a filling. The first visit they were so nice to me but the second visit I didn't feel the same care and attention. Now I was already a patient and they didn't need to play nice anymore... I was not very impressed about that and I went back to my Romanian doctor. I know D. Kaz for almost 4 years now but I was afraid to see any dentist here because of my previous experience. Finally few months a go I said to myself that I need to make the change. And if there is any person I could trust here that is Dr. Kaz. I went to his open house and saw his office, his care and attention to details from the building level, to the hygiene and to every little aspect of his practice. Outstanding! I am so happy with my decision! After visiting 3 times, I am treated with the same respect and care as the first time and the dentistry work is the best! On top of that I felt no pain at all. Dr. Kaz is so careful and they always ask many times how I feel to make sure I am comfortable. I also have to mention Maria that is from Romania as well and she helped Dr. Kaz with my filings. She is so sweet and carrying too! All my requirements are met and I am pretty hard to please: Hygiene Care Attention Professionalism Aspect - the filings look very good. Staff - very friendly - you feel like in a family. And there one more: the chairs have massage. It is so relaxing! Dr. Kaz thought of everything! Thank you!

My entire experience at the Uyesugi Dental office was wonderful! Not something I'd ever expect to say about dental care. The parking was convenient and the office was clean and modern, with decor comparable to a 4-star hotel. I was greeted warmly in a large and comfortable waiting area, and was checked-in quickly (it helped that new patient forms could be completed ahead of time online). The staff are friendly and knowledgeable, and made me feel at ease throughout my appointment. The equipment is state-of-the-art, including the x-ray machines and cleaning tools. My x-rays were completed efficiently and quickly. As someone who has had bad experiences with x-rays, this was an unexpected surprise; I will no longer dread having them done! In addition to the staff, the massaging chair and overhead tv helped make me feel not only comfortable but also incredibly relaxed! I loved the disposable and adhesive protective-eyewear (as opposed to the cheap protective glasses which don't fit well at other dental offices), and the complimentary lip balm I was given at the end of my appointment that was applied throughout my visit. Dr. Alyssa is amazing! She addressed my concerns and was clear in what to expect for additional treatment needed. Sara was so lovely, and made my visit feel more like a trip to the day spa. The front office staff were delightful, and Dana in particular was great to speak with as she helped me at the end of my appointment. I look forward to returning to Uyesugi Dental!

I was very impressed with Uyesugi Dental upon my first visit. I had a cleaning, exam and X-rays. The staff was very friendly and eager to answer all my questions. They made me feel very comfortable the entire visit. The facilities are very modern and clean and the treatment chairs even had built in back massagers! I was most impressed with their processes, which were very efficient. From check-in I was handed to Jordan, who greeted me and gave me a brief tour and took my digital photos. MJ, an RDA, then took over with my bitewing x-rays. She handed me over to Delijah, another RDA, who completed my panoramic x-rays. Then I was examined by Dr. Liong and then Jordan escorted me to Margo, who cleaned my teeth and had an assistant help her take my periodontal gum measurements. All these handoffs were seamless and well coordinated and made things extremely efficient. The execution of these processes showed Uyesugi Dental has a well oiled machine that makes for a pleasant visit. There was almost no waiting between handoffs. One other thing -- when Jordan was about to take the digital photos, the equipment stopped working. Someone came to help, knew how to reboot the system and get it back up and running in just a few minutes.

I’ve been going to Dr. Uyesugi’s office for 2 years now and have no intention of ever leaving. In fact, I look forward to my semi-annual appointments. The entire staff is top-notch. They’re friendly, knowledgeable and detail oriented. Every hygienist I’ve seen has been wonderful. Dr. Uyesugi is great when it comes to explaining things in a simple to understand manner and seems to be in touch with the latest & greatest; everything in the office is super high-tech. Given how fast-paced my life is, I especially appreciate the many levels of technological-communication they offer for dental appointment reminders. I love the well-timed email & text reminders they send with opt-in. The office is situated off Willow Street, and has its own parking lot which is fantastic given the general lack in downtown Willow Glen. There’s also street parking, though I’ve never had to make use of it. Once inside, it’s like entering a spa – it’s gorgeous and immaculately decorated for the season. The dental chairs subtly massage you while your teeth are being cleaned (or whatever procedure is being done) and there’s a TV overhead to keep you preoccupied. It’s quite an experience and one I highly recommend.

I have had expert care and a wonderful experience at Uyesugi Dental. From the start of my treatment, Dr. Uyesugi presented a comprehensive dental plan in an easy to understand format. I have been executing it in pieces as I need a great deal of work. I have been so pleased with the team, my favorite is Sara Gallego. She has been so kind, patient, and absolutely meticulous with my difficult temporaries (I am grinder!) and she will only accept perfection. She has a wonderful cosmetic sensibility, which is so important. Maria and Monica were lovely to work with for cleanings. I've recently been seen by Dr. Takeda and she has been fantastic. I could not fit into Dr. Uyesugi's very tight schedule. Dana, Amanda, Lisa, and Claire are superb in the reception and billing areas. This is a truly wonderful office with a top notch team and I would definitely recommend them to anyone.

I never write reviews but this was hands down the best dental office I have ever been to. I’ve already told 2 people about it! From my initial call to schedule an appointment, to the care and information I received during my visit, right up to walking out the door at the end, I had an amazing experience. Everyone in the front office is so polite; when I called I believe I spoke to Maile, who answered all of my questions and was patient and genuinely friendly to me. Dr. Liong was really amazing and outlined clearly what I can expect in the future as far as my dental care goes, and Teri was the MOST gentle dental hygienist I’ve ever had (I am extremely sensitive and I felt super relaxed the entire visit). Seriously, this is the best office, it made me want to work there! Haha, thank you everyone!

This dentist is AMAZING. By far the most fancy, well-kept, CLEAN dentist I have ever been to. Not to mention that the faculty and staff is absolutely fantastic. Everyone takes their time, is friendly, and makes you feel important. Shoutout to Terri, and MJ. You both really stood out to me. The finane lady Dawn also was very nice....she went over all of my billing and financial documents. I had many questions (I'm new to San Jose) and she was patient with me while she answered everything. Dr. Leong is very decorated and is one of the very best dentist in all of San Jose. I came referred, and I would refer anyone to her! I would recommend this place to anyone! BEST DENTIST I HAVE BEEN TO YET!

My sister and her family along with my children have been going to Dr. Uyesugi’ s office for over 12 years now. I just moved up to the area and quickly scheduled for a consultant with Dr. Uyesugi, he is so thorough and took his time and explained to me all the options. Dr. Uyesugi’ s work is superior and top quality. He must handpicked all his staff too and they are all caring people and so easy to talk to. I have never been to a dental office look so amazing, all his equipment are high-tech and the dental office looks like a spa and makes you feeling relax right away. Most important is Dr. Uyesugi’s work, always done right and last. I will be coming to his office for years to come.

Every member of the staff is exceedingly friendly and helpful. I was given helpful information and reassurance from my first tour of the office to my checkout. The office is exceedingly clean and Covid protocols are wholeheartedly followed above and beyond, which I really appreciated. I've never had the opportunity to sit down with my dentist and look at photos while getting a full description of my specific issues and care recommendations. It was really informative. As for creature comforts, they have massage chairs and tv (if you like that), which is nice.

The folks at Uyesugi Dental define what it means to be the neighborhood dentist office. Friendly, warm and welcoming to the whole family. When it comes to the dental services, Uyesugi Dental is always on top of the latest technology for safety, dental health, and newest techniques that emerge. The attention to detail is second to none. My family has been with them for almost 20 years and my 2 sisters and their families all go there (and they drive from San Mateo and Dublin because you just don't find a team like this anywhere).

Highly recommend, especially if you get nervous about going to the dentist. I’ve had good experiences with all of the different dentists and dental hygienists I’ve had here. It is a bit expensive (but so are all dentists in the Bay), but they take a lot of different kinds of insurance, and they go over everything with you. They are very friendly, and since the pandemic hit, you can check-in by text message from your car and skip the in-office wait. Super convenient

This is a world class facility, and the dentists, dental hygienists, and staff is also world class. Starting with the appointment and scheduling, the visit itself, and any post appointment follow up - it's a breeze. The prices are very competitive, and they work with the major insurance providers as well. What's best is that the staff works to balance your out of pocket with addressing the most time critical treatments first. I would highly recommend this facility.

Mr. Uyesugi and staff were absolutely amazing. They were 100% transparent and up front with all costs and treatment plans. Mr Uyesugi explained my treatment plan in detail. All I can say is I'm excited, 100% content and absolutely ecstatic to know I have such professionals behind me. I have a real fear of dentists. This office is unlike any dental office I have been to in the past. No judgements, they don't try to push procedures on you, they deal with your insurance for you and tell you upfront what the costs are going to be. The staff are all nice and friendly and patient. Uyesugi's office is great and I'm so happy to have finally found a dentist I'm happy with. The office itself is very clean and modern. The front desk staff is polite and communicative and both of the dentists were fantastic. They explained procedures thoroughly and overall it was a very efficient and pleasant experience. Not to mention you can do all your paperwork and appointment booking online and they send you email reminders.

Okay, lets get to the most important things first. When I go to Uyesugi Dental I feel like I'm important to them, that they value each and every patient. The staff listen to me and care. I came in for a regular cleaning and I had Bryan as my technician, who is a friendly, welcoming guy and he explained in great depth the cold hard truth about periodontal disease and all of its effects. I know this sounds like your average review, but seriously, this was the most informational dental visit I've had in my whole life, I wish I knew this when I was younger!

Punctual. The atmosphere is comfortable and staff friendly. Quick, neat, precise. Explains everything. Got two temporary crowns in and I'm not dreading going back. They even give you a warm towelette to refresh yourself before you leave. And they'll turn the TV to any channel you want to distract you from the drilling. Best experience I ever had at a dentist.

Over the course of what I have needed, Dr. Kaz' office has explained to me each step and when I asked a second or third time, they were patient and understanding. I get rather anxious when it comes to my teeth and gums, they've always done what's best for me and again, are always so patient and kind to me. The entire office/staff is awesome.

I needed a crown. Doctor Uyesugi removed the old tooth. He was very efficient and friendly as always. Then his staff MJ and Robin put in my temporary crown. They were both exceptionally friendly and quite charming and did an excellent job. I talked to 2 who worked at the front desk, Dana and Dawn and they were also friendly and efficient.

Interacted with various people from the staff and every single person was super friendly and easy to work with, from explaining the financials to the procedures. The office is very clean and modern looking, complete with nice bright windows everywhere and even TVs on the ceiling for you to watch while they work on your teeth.

Fully staffed with friendly, knowledgeable, attentive people, Up to date equipment and technology that let me understand and participate in the decisions to be made. A comfortable yet thorough cleaning - after a year away from the dentist I expected this to hurt, but it did not. Do yourself a favor, use Uyesugi Dental!

Our family has been under the care of Dr. Uyesugi for 15 years. We have consistently been given excellent and honest care. The office has the latest equipment and technology yet maintains a family atmosphere. The Dental Hygienists are very caring and thorough. We highly recommend Dr. Uyesugi and his entire staff.

The office is spacious, very immaculate, and the equipment is up to date. All the staff were attentive. The frontal sign displayed low cause some time missed the turn left from Willow street. The physician was professional, but very busy. If he contributed a few minutes to the special job, it would be perfect.
