Dr. Julia Donnelly was amazing during one of the worst days I have ever had. She was very helpful, informative, caring, and thoughtful. Even though the result was not what we had hoped, she made us feel like we were making the right decision. She is a wonderful Veterinarian. Thank you, Dr. Donnelly.
These people are angels on earth , they are the most precious compassionate humans on this planet. Twice they waived fees that would have otherwise put us in dire straits. If I could give them a thousand stars, I would! Thank you so much team at VCA you given me faith in humanity again!!!
Arrived at VCA with two badly injured dogs. We were informed they were closing in 20 minutes and turned us away. Had to drive all the way to Algadones to seek emergency care! Heartless and unethical! I am at a loss as to how they could turn away injured animals in desperate need.
My dog has seen several small animal internists over the years and I have been so impressed by VCA. They are exceptionally welcoming and very clear about costs and options up-front. Seeing a specialist is always more expensive, but I've never felt surprised by a bill here.
Today I had to put my dog of 14 years down. The team from start to finish were beyond amazing. Heaven sent if even. They mad the whole thing comfortable for my dog and myself. They were caring, and patient. This made this whole experience easier to deal with. Amazing job!!
Extremely kind and thorough staff. I was referred to VCA for a tumor removal, but the staff went out of their way to identify other health problems my dog was facing. I truly felt like they cared about my dog and wanted her to have the best possible outcome.
I'm really surprised to see so many negative views of this facility. I have had nothing but good experiences with this clinic, especially during traumatic times. My first experience with VCA occurred when I accidentally cut my kitten's skin
For the emergency room, unless your pet is at death's door. You'll be waiting for hours and you MIGHT be seen by the doctor. We kept seeing people leave during our wait. The nurses/technician did see our pet for evaluation. So I'll at least
I wish I could give zero stars, but sadly I had to give one. I would NEVER EVER recommend anyone to bring their furry friend to this facility. I brought my cat into VCA around Christmas. She was mouth breathing which is extremely dangerous.
I have not gone to this clinic yet, but I just wanted to share my love and appreciation for their staff there at the ER. I have had a hell of a night trying to find an exotic vet to help my hedgehog. Or at the very least help on what to do
What a waste of time. Their triage is absolutely terrible! My dog had a severe internal allergic reaction and his face, throat eyes and entire body were swollen, dog constantly vomiting, lethargic and refused to eat but they refused to see
I never write reviews unless I’ve been morally wronged so here we go. The vet herself was super nice but this mega corporation literally charged me $3,000 to keep my dog overnight on an IV. No surgery, nothing. Just an IV. $3,000. Wouldn’t
Good experience with Dr. Ries. He took care of my kitty that had fatty liver disease and although unfortunately he passed, did everything he could and was still available to answer questions when my cat's care was switched to a new doctor,
Update- I recently brought my pup In to see the orthopedic specialist for a foot injury. The doc was able to quickly determine the injury that a different doc had misdiagnosed. She offered options and estimates for each option. The injury
VCA Oncology at 9901 Montgomery, Albuquerque is amazing. Dr Schrempp was more than helpful and straight forward. I don’t have a happy ending to my story but through the entire heart-rending process Dr. Schrempp and her technician Eric was
I needed the VCA and the emergency services, they let not only me but also my companion down big time. I was told to come in and that the front would know I was coming. We arrived and nothing was known that I told over the phone. We were
I was so nervous about my little 7 lb 1 year old, yorkiepoo Bella Bean getting spayed. But everyone was so supportive and caring! Ivy in the Pharmacy helped prep Bella’s meds and explained everything in-person. Dr. Carrier was an amazing
Yesterday we took our critically ill dog to the VCA facility on Montgomery NE in Albuquerque. We were hesitant initially because some of the reviews we saw were not positive; however, our vet simply did not have the imaging available to
If I could give them a zero or below, I would. We have used them in the past. The charges are outrageous and the care is subpar. We have been told misinformation and lead to believe the situation was more positive than it truly was. Too
My poor dog was attacked by we think a coyote with extensive damage to her neck. Everyone we interacted with and took care of Ms MollyMae were wonderful. Everyone was kind and understanding and took such great care of my injured dog. I
I can't speak on behalf of the entire facility but what I can say is Dr. Kitchell with the referral/oncology side is beyond amazing. Our little Elvis was diagnosed with grade 3 mast cell tumor in December 2021 and had it removed by his
We've been bringing one of our beautiful boy kitties here since 2020 for kidney cancer treatment. He's been in remission for a couple of years now and continues to receive check-ups from the wonderful staff here. Thank you all so much!
Do not euthanize your pet here. As nice as the staff were, it was almost $300 to humanely euthanize my kitty cat, and get nothing in return. They charge $60 for MASS cremation with NO remains returned, and another $50 if you want an
I have been using VCA since living in AZ and have nothing but glowing reviews. I moved here in 2015 and at the time was closer to the Montgomery clinic. Again the staff here did an amazing job of seeing my pet dog. Flash forward to
Dr. Peterson went above and beyond to treat my dog for his ruptured eye. If I had received a fraction of her bedside manor and care from any of my human doctors I would consider myself blessed. The level of attention, patience, and
Total scam and now my dog will suffer for the rest of her life :( Was referred here to get surgery on both of my dogs back legs. The surgery was scheduled and everything was fine, however the day of the surgery I got a call
I almost never leave negative reviews, but sometimes a business is totally inconsiderate of you and your time in a repeatable way so it seems worth sharing so others know what to expect.
My partner Kali and I took our cat Layla to be seen by Dr. Russman and tech Rebecca today. Our cat had a stroke in September and we’ve had nothing but really supportive
I’ve brought my dog three times so far to see Dr. Peterson with ophthalmology. So far her and her team are always nice and they treat my Sky very well.
Update: Almost one year later and my dog is still happy and alive! Never got any response to my email to them!
