These Vamos Homes and Tours ppl are very dishonest. They messed up my holiday plans that I had to abandon them even after paying part of the costs and looking for a hotel urgently. This because they seriously put my family at risk. The pictures they display are of premises they have no proper arrangements with or control over. They rushed us into paying a deposit and then began harranguing us for the balance even before travel to the venue contrary to the undertaking that you pay the balance on arrival. When we asked about the villas they were booking us for, they played mind games with us only to be given the name and direction on the date of travel. We came to discover that it was way out of the Diani place they had been luring us with. To be continued RESPONSE TO YOUR ATTEMPT AT FACE-SAVING BELOW: I was forcefully checked out?? What deception you are trying here! I had decided that I was checking out way earlier and had informed your staff. When your people realized we were not turning back on leaving, the caretaker began pleading with us that we take another villa! we flatly declined, upon which your staff began demanding further payment of 7500/= to top up the deposit of 52,500 to make it 60000 for two days. They became a nuisance on this, calling and sending reminders at close intervals. Please consult your call logs and messages for guidance. I have written record of this! I so wanted to leave that I readily paid the sum of 7500/= which the caretaker insisted to be paid personally when he told us that he was not even sure of you remitting their money we had paid to you earlier. In fact when it was not bearing fruit your staff began arguing with him on how to share the 60,000/=, all within my hearing! The caretaker hesitated to open for us the gate to leave for fear of you not remitting their money., this persisted until he somehow agreed with your staff on how to share the sum. Eti you are thanking me for having served me? You did not serve me! You had laid out a scheme for my money, and thank God I got to know of this early enough, making me lose only 60,000/= to you. Even as I was leaving your staff kept trying to play tricks on me alleging that part of the 60000 had been used to book another apartment and therefore I should pay more for the said "other apartment"! Of course not even the dumbest fool could fall for such a trick again.

Vamos booked my friends and i in a great Watamu villa. The house was perfect and matched the pictures and videos. Another time they booked us in Nanyuki in an awesome villa as well. The downside of Vamos is they never answer calls and the person is always saying they are in a meeting so text. Most times they are quick to respond other times not. Another serious issue is they dont remit the money owed to the owner in time. In Watamu the housekeeper asked us whether we finished paying as the owner wasnt paid and Vamos are not answering her calls. This left a bad taste. In Nanyuki, the property mananger asked me to contact Vamos to pay them and if they wouldnt do so by the end of the day he would ask us to leave. This is so unprofessional and unacceptable.

Vamos homes is a fraudulent company..Please beware ..We booked for a house in Naivasha (Kedong ranch) to be specific..A day to the travel day they call us and tell us that their colleague did a double booking..We asked to be given another option since everyone had made plans to travel, only to be given a low standard house in Nanyuki and expect us to pay the same amount as the classy house we booked in Naivasha..Festus and Teresia Wambui we’re very rude to us. If you have money to waste, book with Vamos homes.

Vamos Homes and TOURS shares uncoordinated information online and with the clients physically. What is posted online is different from what you are told when you reach Mombasa. We only interacted with a staff when she was receiving money and never did we hear from her again. We were promised a boat ride which was at a permanently closed place, so this was shady as there was no sign of a boat ride. These people aren't professional at all, no hospitality. I was disappointed.

Had a booking which I wasn’t able to go to due to the inter-county lockdown, rescheduled to a new date after the lockdown was lifted sadly the accomodation wasn’t available for the dates I chose therefore asked for a refund. One of the managers agreed to it and promised me to get a refund(3k less) apparently host fees within 7 working days. Almost 2 months now and now no communication and feedback from the team.

THIEVES!! Use this travel agency at your own risk. I booked with them and paid a deposit of almost $900 for a villa in Diani. Due to unavoidable circumstances I cancelled my booking months in advance and I was entitled to my full refund. 3 months later and I am still fighting to get my money back!!! They refuse to answer calls and always give excuses. DON'T USE VAMOS, THEY ARE THIEVES!

Spent 12 days in Mombasa and Marlin was God sent. Stayed in two different apartments, a two bedroom in shanzu and a studio apartment in Nyali. Their prices are to die for and quality of the apartments next to none. I highly recommend Marlin for anyone who is looking for a professional who no task is too big for her to handle. I will surely come back to use their services.

All the positive reviews on vamos homes are lies. These people are frauds. DO NOT BOOK WITH VAMOS. DO NOT USE VAMOS HOMES. Terry who works for them is so rude. They cancelled our booking last minute and dint refund us. Their business is fraudulent and not transparent. Just book the houses directly with the owners of the house. Avoid Vamos at all costs.

You guys are frauds! Your agent Festus is a thief! Please do not spend a dime on these agency! You will regret it! They make double bookings after taking your money. You'll only find out when you reach the venue. They then relocate you to a slightly less appealing apartment, that is if you find they are vacant.

My experience with Vamos Homes was simply the best. From the hospitality we recieved,to the packages we got.Everything was so nice and we had a great holiday. Thank you Vamos homes for making our time in mombasa worthwhile..we'll definitely want another holiday with you guys.Cheers!!!

Highly unreliable and untrustworthy. They book for you an apartment, they send beautiful pictures and then take your money. At the very last moment they tell you the rooms are unavailable and then relocate you to inferior apartments in dingy places. Would not recommend them to ANYONE.
