We sat down, & when I opened the box, I couldn't believe the ring I was looking at was MINE ! It was, in fact, every part of what I dreamed, every part of my vision, every detail, she perfected it. I remember taking bits & pieces of over a half dozen rings telling her what I liked & didn't like about certain parts. She took all of those details, and gave me back a part of what had been missing for so long. Some people may think a wedding ring is just a material piece of jewelry, but for me, it's a symbol of not only my husband & I, but our family. I couldn't stop thanking her; I couldn't stop looking at it in the air; I couldn't stop smiling ! I know Vanessa was just so happy to see that I was just so thrilled, and speechless ! She took a process that was horrid and made it pleasurable. 5 stars. Full Review: This has to be the hardest but easiest review I’ve ever written. I always want to find something that a company or product can improve on and in this case I am at a loss. The level of service I received from Vanessa and they quality of the product exceeded even my extremely high expectations. I had spent the past 2-3 months doing hundreds of hours of research and going to every jewelry store I could trying to find the perfect ring for my now fiancé. I felt cheated in every situation, from the quality of the chain stores to the price of the higher end guys. I wanted both quality and a fair price and I couldn’t find it anywhere. It was horrible and I was over it. I don’t remember where I first heard about Vanessa, but I am so glad I did. I emailed her from her website not expecting much, as I had been emailing like crazy from the previous months endeavors with little luck. To my surprise Vanessa emailed me back right away and after several hours of research on her and her business I was sold. The whole process was very smooth, after some questions and a few emails she had a good idea of what I wanted. She did all the legwork in diamond selection, making sure I got the BEST looking diamond I could get in my price range, communicating the whole time and sending me HD videos of what she had found for my final approval. Then she sent me CAD renderings of the design we discussed using my actual diamond as sizing reference. After my approval she went to work making it. During this process she communicated with me weekly letting me know how things were coming along. She even worked with me to get the ring by my proposal deadline! I also had some issues with payment and my over protective credit card company, but she was patient and helped me get it resolved. Once I received the ring I was astounded. It was exactly like the CAD rendering and more beautiful than I could imagine. I was also surprised by the quality, having spent so many hours in jewelry stores I knew the difference between a retail chain and a high end jeweler. This ring matches or exceeds the quality of any ring in any store I have seen. Most importantly my fiancé absolutely loves it. He has a ring she can be proud of for the rest of her life. In summary the experience with Vanessa and her company was the best I have ever dealt with. I am hard to please when it comes to customer service and I am almost impossible to please on a purchase this large. In this case I am elated with both. Vanessa Nicole Jewels gets 5 stars from me, and it is undoubtedly the easiest 5 stars I have ever handed out online. I have recommended her and will continue to do so without reservation.

Vanessa is truly a JOY to work with! If you're considering reaching out to her for custom jewelry, DO IT! My sweet husband surprised me with an upgraded engagement ring for our anniversary. There was a specific design he knew I loved that'd go well with my wedding band; so he looked into finding someone in Seattle to customize one similar to it. While he was happy with the diamond the person found him, he said the entire process after it was painful. Long story short, the person in Seattle assured him he could create a beautiful setting similar to the one I liked; but in the end, the quality of work was just not there. Cue in Vanessa - the best decision we made was to reach out to her! The process was just so easy - I filled out a questionnaire and Vanessa responded back via email. What I loved about the process was Vanessa dedicating a specific month for 10 clients to work with. She was booked the month of December, but wrote us down for the month of January. :) This way, she was able to ensure we could collaborate together efficiently and have the best experience! We were lucky in that we were in San Diego early January - we were able to see her studio in person, and dropped off our diamond! I have to add, if you've seen her YouTube videos, she's just as friendly in person as she is in those videos! During this appointment, we discussed what I liked about the setting from Seattle and elements I didn't like. About a week after meeting Vanessa, she sent me a video of the early stages of a design. I totally appreciated these videos as it provided a visual to fully understand elements she was describing! It took about 1-2 weeks from the initial meeting to design exactly what I had wanted. During these two weeks, I noticed even more how knowledgeable Vanessa is as a diamond setter. I wanted the two side stones on my ring to have milgrain detail around them, but without having the bezels they're set in to be so bulky. She informed me of two ways this could be done and the way we went with turned out beautifully! When we received the ring in the mail, I cried tears of joy! The ring is just GEORGEOUS - from the elegant claw prongs, split shank, to how the side stones turned out. I can go on and on with all the details I LOVE about my new ring setting, but I'll leave that for my husband's ears, lol! I've already gotten plenty of compliments on the ring when I'm out and about. :) Vanessa, thank you again for you and your team's hard work in creating a STUNNING ring for us! As I sit here typing this review, I am in awe of the gorgeous, custom diamond ring on my finger, watching it sparkle with every stroke of a key. Vanessa and I worked through email and phone conversations, since I was on the east coast and she is based in San Diego. However, despite a time difference and being on opposite sides of the country, Vanessa was spot on. She responded very rapidly to all my emails and questions (concerns) and was always pleasant and straightforward in her response. After we began the process of choosing a diamond (amazing selections!) and began the design process, I was again nervous. Like most of you reading this, I was unsure on where or how to go about the entire engagement ring process. I am from NY, but always traveling with work as a Merchant Marine. I had difficulty finding someone who would be willing to communicate mostly via email. After looking online and researching for a few months, I decided to reach out to Vanessa and see what she had to offer. From the initial email, I had good vibes. Vanessa is prompt in answering her emails and knows what questions to ask in order to feel you out. She asks you your budget and really works hand in hand with you to design your ring. (Pro tip: check your fiancé to be’s Pinterest to find out what she likes if you’re trying to surprise her). After many emails, we had a general idea of what I wanted in the ring. We set a date to meet in person at her studio and Vanessa had three diamonds set out all within my budget. I chose a 1.61ct round cut brilliant diamond. To be completely honest, I really didn’t know too much in the difference of the cuts/colors/grades, so I chose the biggest of the three and trusted in Vanessa to design a beautiful ring around it. And she did! Vanessa sent me the CAD rendering of what she designed for the ring and I knew right then that I had made the right choice. She lets you know when the setting is being cast and about when you’ll get it at home. I was out of state, so Vanessa had it mailed via FedEx. The ring is modern, but has a vintage feel to it as well. It is so unique and my now fiancé absolutely loves it. When Vanessa talks about the “fire” in her ring, I now know what she’s talking about. When the light hits my fiancé’s ring, it lights up like Broadway. She gets so many compliments on it from everyone and I often see her just looking at her hand with a big smile. All of the women in her life tell her that they have never seen a ring so beautiful. I am here to share the wonderful experience I had in purchasing an engagement ring with Vanessa. I did a bunch of research online, however I still felt uncomfortable about selecting a jeweler because I still felt I was uneducated about the whole process and that this was going to be a big purchase for me. For something such as an engagement ring, one always wants to make sure they get the most beautiful ring with the best price within their budget. I was really looking for someone I can trust. And I feel that Vanessa has really delivered that to me! First off, the ring is gorgeous and my now fiancé loves it and is always looking at it. She's been thanking me every day for the ring since the moment I put it on her finger Lol. I found Vanessa through her pics on Pinterest. After that, I started looking at her reviews (All 5 stars including mine!). I looked at all her YouTube videos and she is definitely knowledgable and an expert in her craft. And she shares all of that with the online community. After viewing all of this, I then decided to contact her and the process began. The design process was really fun, she is a great artist and it wasn't really much back and forth because I loved the drafts she was giving me. She provided me with all the education needed in selecting a diamond, answered all my questions very promptly, and was just always there when I needed her. I feel that she really makes herself available to her clients. She also does something really special which is a "Making of the ring" video. At first, I really wasn't sure about doing it because I'm not a camera person. However, she told me like a big sister tells her little brother, that I should and that my fiancé would love it and it's something that we would have for ourselves that's memorable. And Vanessa was right! It was like icing on the cake, my fiancé couldn't believe it and loved the fact that I did something like that for her! Her ring will always be truly special to the both of us. Vanessa was incredible to work with from start to finish. I was clueless and a bit overwhelmed when I first started my search for an engagement ring. I had endless questions and Vanessa answered all of them in great detail. Confident in her work and her genuine demeanor, I decided she was the right fit for me. Since I live in NY, all communication was done via email, but I would not let this worry any out of state customers. Vanessa responded quickly to every email and her diamond selection video put me at ease that I was getting a beautiful diamond, despite not being able to see it in person. The CAD rendering of the ring design I wanted was identical to the finished product. Her timeline for the ring's completion was perfectly in line with what she quoted me from the start. When I received the ring from FedEx, it was double boxed and inside of another shipping pouch for plenty of protection. In addition to the ring in its beautiful cherry wood box, there were several things such as a hand written card to my fiancé from Vanessa, GIA report, care instructions, insurance recommendations, etc. The whole package was presented so neat and left me with everything I needed. Now the ring itself, absolutely gorgeous. It far exceeded my expectations and my fiancé can't stop looking at it! If you are thinking about going to Vanessa for a ring . . . DO IT! She is wonderful. I just got engaged and it was a magical experience! We had my grandmother's engagement ring which was beautiful and I wanted to keep as is. But we needed a wedding band custom made to fit it . . . enter Vanessa. We had found her site online, and I was impressed. We live in Texas, so we took the plunge to send the ring off to Vanessa to work on. I let my man handle working out the details so there could still be some "ring surprise" . . . and it turned out better than I would have ever dreamed. She made not one, but two shadow style wedding bands that sit perfectly flush with the original engagement ring. This will really help as the ring is quite dainty and could use the support - we'll have them soldered together after the wedding. There was also a small defect on the engagement ring - one that was so small I figured no one would notice, so I hadn't said anything, but when Vanessa re-sized the engagement ring for us, she obviously noticed it because it was perfectly smooth when I got it back! I couldn't be happier and I feel we got high-quality at a great price. For something I'll wear FOREVER, the beauty and sentimentality of the set brought tears to my eyes! I couldn't be happier! It is so special that I was able to keep my grandma's ring and have new bands made . . . but they go perfectly together! Oh, also, she included and appraisal of fair market value of both the original engagement ring and the new bands - this is a great touch (and something I wouldn't have thought of) and will help if I want to insure the rings. It also told me details I didn't know about my inherited engagement ring! Anyway, this is all just to say - she is wonderful - work with Vanessa. Period.

Vanessa is truly a master at her art and an incredibly delightful and easy person to work with. One of my favorite parts of working with her was her honesty, understanding and flexibility. We considered using a family diamond and Vanessa took the time to look and appraise it for us to give us a realistic assessment on quality. She then offered to source a few other diamonds to compare quality and cost. Vanessa was great about letting us come to our own decision and in the end we chose one of the diamonds she sourced because the values or the quality was worth it to have the perfect diamond. Beyond loving the ring on my hand, I also love my keepsake video. If you’re the one asking and you’re debating to do the video don’t debate just do it, s/he will be SO grateful you did. Matt had this great plan for how he was going to ask and then I ended up messing it up because I wanted to have dinner and run errands without knowing it was the night he planned to ask. Lol. So when he finally did ask, his proposal was to the point and probably not as lengthy as he had planned. It was simple and perfectos no complaints AND getting to watch the video after and hear all the things I knew he felt but didn’t get to hear in the proposal made it perfect (and made me cry ). It isn’t fake, polished or unnatural, the way Vanessa does the video is so organic and it is a memory I have in a permanent form. Plus, bonus it is the ring you created being made live, how often do you see something like that? Too cool. Vanessa is absolutely amazing. I am so lucky I found her. She took what normally is a very stressful process and made it so easy. We had a phenomenal experience with Vanessa! Two things stand out: Her craftsmanship, and her professionalism. We came to her for a belated 10-year re-setting of my engagement ring. It was a halo design, but not quite what I envisioned, as it was set in a standard, retail-looking halo; there was a large and noticeable gap between the center stone and the halo stones, which were also too tiny to give a proper halo effect. Vanessa created a custom halo setting for me with larger halo stones. Her craftsmanship is exquisite! It looks like a totally different ring--my same center stone, but completely re-imagined. It's stunning, sparkly, and there is *zero* space between the center stone and halo. She also managed to pull this off with minimal metal. It looks cleaner and highlights the stones so beautifully. My previous setting was metal heavy and it dulled the center stone's beauty. She nailed it! It's everything I had hoped for and more! Also--and this is so important for big jewelry investments--her communication is top-notch. She was clear, patient, thorough, communicated regularly, and answered all my questions as they arose. I felt safe shipping my stone and leaving it in her artful hands, and she ended up improving it beyond my expectations. Cannot recommend her enough! We'll be back for another piece in the future!

I live in New Jersey and was hesitant to really start getting involved with a jeweler across the country until I read all the reviews. I filled out the information form and then the doors opened to the easiest and best jewelry service I've ever had. I think my girlfriend would have said “Yes!” without the perfect diamond, but I wanted the perfect diamond! I spent weeks looking online and in stores. My girlfriend eventually selected the setting she had her heart set on and a big-store diamond she was happy with. I went back the next day and cancelled the diamond. You see all the pictures and even the videos online, but are you getting the maximum “fire”, something the 4Cs don’t measure? I saw Vanessa’s u-tube videos and contacted her about sourcing a diamond. I was the typical guy searching for a ring that didn’t know anything about it. I knew what type of ring I wanted to get, but not where to start. Yesterday we spent some time in Nashville. That evening we went to dinner. One the way home he surprised me with a pit stop. Inside the ring “All the Bits” is engraved and on the sides of the band he incorporated my warrior/arrow tattoo where the diamond and band meet, forming an arrow. A few months ago, my fiance contacted Vanessa to get a custom engagement ring designed for me. My grandmother had given him a diamond ring that belonged to my Great Aunt, so he wanted to make sure that the setting perfectly complimented the diamonds. I just wanted to say that I LOVE LOVE LOVE my ring and I think it came out beautifully! My fiance worked with Vanessa non-stop to create a totally unique and custom design around my heirloom diamonds. I especially love the engraved design on the side. It’s absolutely perfect and I am still getting used to wearing something so beautiful on my hand every day! We look forward to getting our wedding bands designed with Vanessa in the near future! We could not be happier working with Vanessa! We are absolutely in love with the custom engagement ring she created for us. I can't even begin to tell you how happy and wonderful our experience was with Vanessa. My fiancé designed my engagement ring with her about a year ago. They went back and forth (I got to see the images later) really perfecting the design. The ring is breathtaking. I get so many comments on it because it is so striking! I luckily got a chance to work with her to design my wedding band. She was so quick to respond to every little question I had and really talked through options with me. I had to send my engagement ring back to her to make sure the band fit perfectly together and I had it back in less than a week. I was amazed she was able to send it back to me so quickly. In particular, we talked about some ring styles that we saw locally that were interesting, and she pointed out the pros and cons of the designs, while making recommendations on how she might add elements to make the ring more structurally sound while maintaining the design elements we really liked. I shopped 10 different jewelry stores, both online and in-person. Vanessa impressed me the most, and after going through the process, I couldn't imagine a better experience.
