Finaly got served, turned out was missing one document to be able to cancel rego, walked out and drove down to Geelong,seurity was doing his job what he was hired for, with smile on his face and good morning, at first I was scared to walk in, I tought he would jump and push me back in line, so I asked, he politely said of course u can, lady at the entrance welcomed me with huge smile and showed me in. Great polite and professional service, went out said bye to lady, polite smile and greeting received at exit and I am from now on driving down to geelong vic roads every time I need something I understand policies and rules but smile and welcoming customer goes long way, Dont they understand people using their services making money for vic roads, and then vic roads can pay them If u dont like your job find another one Just writing this remembering my experience made me angry

Your 'Complaint' feedback or enquiry form on the website is broken just like RWC validation. Seller done an online transfer, had my license details and submitted the disposal from his account into mine The vehicle appeared in my account, tried to complete transfer Upon trying to upload the RWC from a 1200 DPI scan it still prompted that it was not good enough quality Took RWC into Hoppers VicRoads as there is no information on the website as to what to do when A) the transfer was done online B) the RWC fails to validate upon uploading Josie advised that I still needed a transfer form, even though everywhere online it does not state this. It states: To complete the transfer, login to your myVicRoads account to provide VicRoads with your roadworthy certificate and payment of the transfer fee and motor vehicle duty (if applicable). Josie completely ignored this (in-fact, didn't even want to read it) and said "we're just going in circles". She was very rude. If she had of listened in the first place (that the vehicle was already showing on my account and that myVicRoads was not accepting the scanned RWC this could have been resolved with no misinformation (see below). She even gave me a print out with this part highlighted "You won’t be able to submit your transfer online if you don’t know the buyer details or if the buyer does not have a Victorian licence/customer number." Which is misinformation as the seller DID have my details and, again, the vehicle was appearing in my, myVicRoads. Another thing not related, but in regards to COVID safe protocols at Hoppers VicRoads - your lines outside and seating inside have social distancing but your counters do not.

I took Hazard test today and my experience is so horrible. I sat for test and observed that no sound coming from left side of headphones and informed Officer and he replied that all headphones are like that. And was advised that headphones are not necessary. I went back to test area to continue. After test is started, observed video clarity was very bad and cant even see the roadlines/symbols/ other vehicle signals/if pedestrians walking towards roads. It was like totally blur for few videos. I didnt feel like continue after around 10 videos and went to officer and explained the same but same reply that all videos are the same and refused to come and have a look. I am not aware of all rules if i can stop, can capture video from my phone to show them and argue but thought of continue with frustration and then during my last quarter of test, observed the system which next to next to me and video was 100% clear even to my eyes at far distance. Then i understood its only fault at my system. I failed the test and explained the same to officer to have a look at least now since it was clean videos from other system and he even denied and replied other person going to use that machine. Meanwhile i guess her designation is manager who joined in the conversation and checked the video footage of my test and she definitely understood it didn't go well as i complained to officer but he didnt even come to test area to check. Had to have lot of conversation and waited more than an hour after my test and finally they booked another slot for free. Never go to this center again and i changed my appointment by calling vicroads customer service.

The worst customer service received in the whole world because a bunch of arrogant people sitting behind the counter at VicRoads Hoppers crossing, had a booking done for interstate license transfer and car registration and they made double booking for license changeover in hoppers crossing and Geelong. I had to cancel my booking twice because my original booking was not visible on VicRoads website after explaining all of this there was no apology for the error they made, and previously when I asked why we have to pay $19 for rescheduling the appointment before 24 hrs the person replied saying you come in and waste our time but then they don’t care when our time gets wasted, I guess their morning briefing is about how to be rude to the people walk in and then on basis of that they get awarded. Hereafter I will not mind calling and wasting your time but definitely don’t want to see your rude and misbehaving staff members face again. However, the 2 staff’s giving out the ticket are very nice and polite to everyone who walks in.

Visited this morning to exchange my UK license for a Victorian one, unfortunately there were no appointments available online until after I started a new job. I thought I would take a chance and arrive shortly after opening, in the hope I might be squeezed in or somebody had cancelled. Upon initially being told by the lady that greeted me there was no availability I wasn't hopeful, but after receiving a call ticket a lady called Payal was able to take my completed application and process. She was polite, extremely efficient, and understanding of my situation and I walked out extremely happy that she accommodated me with a new license organised in quick time, albeit a little lighter in the wallet :-). If I could have given her "Employee of the month" or some other gift as gratitude I would have, top marks and greatly appreciated.

Young Indian female at the counter was rude and condescending. My spoken English is not the best, and this appeared to visibly annoy this staff member as I attempted to clarify something I didnt understand. Her tone of voice was not acceptable for any customer service role; She rolled her eyes when I asked any questions and she constantly sighed and appeared visibly annoyed to have to ohh I don't know...do the job she is paid to do. She didn't have any reason to speak that way to me as I'd been very gentle and nice through the whole thing. On a positive note, the older woman handing out tickets at the entry was very nice and happily answered questions.

The individual with long hair in a ponytail at the front of VicRoads Hoppers Crossing exhibited arrogance and was unhelpful. Despite my request for a transfer form, which is typically available at the entrance, it wasn't present in the usual folder. Rather than providing me with the transfer form that was right next to him, he directed me to join a queue of 20 people. When it was finally my turn, he handed me the transfer form but not the ticket, instructing me to fill out the form and then go back to the 30-minute queue. This unnecessarily wasted my time. It seems that this person should focus on growing their brain rather than just their hair.

Amazingly helpful. Had a dreadful morning getting in from an interstate flight at 1am. Thought my first appointment was at 8.45, and it was at 8.30am. I had two appointments so staff agreed to see me to see what they could do in the time allotted. I'm always courteous but Maree's level of service for a frazzled customer was just awesome. She was speedy and wanting to do everything she could from beginning so that I would not have to make another appointment. Thank you Maree, you made a full time working day and father of 2 young children very happy that I didn't have to spend any more time on this that I needed too.

Mathew is the worst customer service guy i had ever met I am showing each and every proof that i got scammed but he is totally unfriendly and rude to me and i have each and every single documents that showed what is wrong with my rego and he didnot help me out . I had even said that I did not get informed from VicRoads my registration has expired no mail no msg i had even took all the documents indicates that my rego is expired on mar 31 but cops pulled me over and gave a ticket for unregistered vehicle because of their mistake . When I checked my registration it showed ur updated. He sent me with no help.

Worst vic road always they have there personal set of rules which trumps over Victorian government regulation and they girls over there will even say that Victoria road customer care does not know anything and what we are saying are the rules. Even the rules written on the transfer forms printed by Victorian government are not enough for them as they say that Victorian government just write it in the forms but it does not means anything and you can wait one hour for our manager and talk to him as he is told us to say this. Not once like every time they have different set rules defined by the self.

Just had the worst experience with someone called Josie at the counter Came in for my dad’s Identification document sign up She didn’t know the rules and started saying provided proof was not enough Then when my dad called me and when I tried explaining this too her she started getting frustrated on me And then another lady staff passed her and she asked her if the credit card could be accepted she said yes and then Josie accepted the credit card Outright rude staff, worst experience ever Had better experience at other Vic roads Center’s Hope someone reviewing public reviews looks into this matter

I had a good experience when I visited this place to perform a license conversion. The lady at the reception was very helpful in validating the documents, narrating the next course of actions and arranged me a ticket. Further after a wait of approximately 15 mins, I was called on a counter. The lady was super helpful in creating my account and perform other activities to create my license application so smoothly. Overall a great experience. I saw a lot of negative reviews and was sceptical, but I think I was lucky to get good representative from VicRoads with good behaviour.

Very bad experiences with the staff not everyone was like that few of them were very good they were tried to help me out but while they were helping me out they came and told them not to do and i went to sunshine it was done in just 5mins and here i wasted an hour very bad experience not only once its been twice with me for different issues they didn’t sought out and said can’t do and i went to different vicroads its been done.i never ever go to this vicroads nor i suggest anyone to go to this vicroads and the tickets which they give it is not at all in sequence and very rude

Not very happy to give lowest rating to VicRoads but it is because they are letting people like Joanne (Customer service) and Rebecca (Team Leader) to work there and as a government agency people expect better from them. Joanne gave me such an advice that had no basis. When I took it further to Rebecca, as a team leader she backed up Joanne's advice and added that Joanne is an expert in this area. Such employees can potentially cause harm to the public with whatever problem they have.

During this lock down and I booked appointment for hazard test on Friday but I just want to double check if I have to rebook appointment or still can do the test. I been waiting for like 15 min and trying to talk to one of the customer service lady but she just hang up the phone for no reason. Sound like she was in a hurry and not even try to talk to me or understand me but just hang up the phone like that. So so rude!!!! Not happy with the service I got!!!!!

Went in to get new standard rego plates for my car and was given the wrong plates to what they actually assigned to my car, got pulled over and had to explain to the police and when I went back to VicRoads I was told to wait in line which is fine, however 2 minutes later they let multiple people skip the line because they forgot their ID the first time. How is it fair that I wait because of their mistake but people that forget their ID get to skip the line?

The place was full and I waited patiently for my turn only to be told that she can’t take payment from me and I have to go and sit down and wait for my name to be called by a lady in the payment section so I can pay. What’s the use of lining up and getting a ticket that specifically has that I’m paying rego and then get sent somewhere else and have to wait again until I finally pay pretty piss poor system double handling for no reason.

Well...after "enforcing" social distancing in an aggressive manner not only did the staff, of which there were hmm 4, walking up and down the line asking over again our reason for being there. All legitimate however, no sanitisation of the pen no social distancing of the staff so transference of the virus would've been through them & the overt aggression.!!! Then inside..nice as pie!!! Communication issues? Maybe!

In the case of a few bad apple spoil the barrel it took these unprofessional servants 5 visits and 3 appointments to transfer my rego. If it was not for calling customer service I would have reflected their attitude and stooped to their level. Any wonder they are busy as failing 3 times to do their job for something so simple leaves me to wonder what else they get away with. I suggest you go somewhere else...

Was really surprised when l went to pay my registration last week. Saw the waiting line and thought I'd be there for an hour, the girl out front was so friendly(wish l'd got her name) was inside in no time to another friendly face and a really relaxed atmosphere, organised everything paid and out within 20mins. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful and try to do whatever they can toward your situation. Yes covid has made it extremely hard and packed and limits. But that’s not their fault and they’re trying still, with obnoxious customers and disrespectful ppl. They are still pleasant day after day and we should think what it’s like from their end occasionally .....

I am very thankful for their wonderful customer service. Im a disability support worker and took my client (in his wheelchair) for his license renewal. The line was huge outside. The officer, called Matthew, approached us straight away and organized prompt service for us. He was very empathetic and helpful. Thank you for all your support and inclusion.

Went into Vic Roads today at Hoppers Crossing to pay for my boat licence, to only find, once I got home @6, that the man behind the counter has made me pay for someone else’s licence and now I have all their personal details too...full name, address, licence number... Office is not open as they close at 4:30! Too bad for us that work full days!!

I watch two female staff screaming at an older lady while a male staff member was trying to help her than they started scolding the man as well until all three of them started fighting like children and this poor lady is sitting there confused just looking for some help? Absolutely disgusting and horrible staff.

I've never had a problem here, yes the wait times are astronomical, bring a book and a snack. however the staff are fine as if you know what paperwork you need before you go in and have a bit of common courtesy and manners, well, I'm surprised people don't, and trust me, be nice and you'll be helped promptly.

Mind blowing Custumer service by Tariq and other team members, although the size of VicRoads is small with less sitting seats, but it doesn’t matter when you get the good service like this, they’re very supportive understanding the Custumer needs and working up to the Customer’s satisfaction.

Ticket system does not work, I've been sitting here for an hour and watching people walk in and get serviced before me. Even servicing people without tickets. I would have been better off waiting in a line. Very dissatisfied. If only there were competition to vic roads we could go across to.

The staff here are very nice to newcomers getting their learners for the first time. The ticketing system is effective and fast. The lady working at the entrance was extremely kind and helpful with my paperwork to ensure things went smoothly. The process took no longer than 20 minutes.

Went for my overseas license verification on 31/10/23. Guy on counter 08 just gave me appointment for werribee by stating we don't do overseas license verification here WTH..... you people should have mentioned this on website. Wasted my whole day. Very disappointing experience.

Always have a good experience here, Staff are highly trained and very friendly and helpful, and they get the job done in a timely manner. it does get busy at times, so going early in the mornings is best, or if you go get a coffee and come back in most cases it’s a shorter wait.

Rudest staff! There was nothing to say that I had to wait for my number to be called and the screen showed my number allocated to a counter. So I walked up to it and the man behind the counter was super rude. Need to be trained on civil behaviour towards customers!!

I went to get my license verified here and the staff member named "Jas" said she couldnt verify my license cuz it was not showing it online. Little did we know she was entering wrong information till we corrected her telling us "servers are down".

They made me wait in queue for about 45 minutes and the officer at the counter advised me to comeback after 3 weeks. Whoever is collecting the details outside the Centre should have told me the same thing instead of asking me to wait in the queue

Had my motorcycle inspected today at 01:25 pm .The inspector is friendly .Didn’t ask her name sits second from the corner .. but you Mam are a bloody legend .My motorcycle is registered with ease and great customer service experience overall .

Staff have always been respectful and helpful with me. No qualms there. I do wish they would move to a bigger venue though. This area is booming population wide which means more cars/boats/bikes etc, and the wait in this small venue is horrid.

Went to pay Motor Reg and service was awesome, just sat down and number was called. Asked a few questions regarding vehicle transfer in order to get health care card discount. Staff member was very knowledgeable, efficient and friendly.

They need to be open later than 4:30pm!! people work!!! And they close on weekends! I was 1 min late and the officer told me they aren’t taking anymore customers! I came all the way from werribee. Not happy at all...!
