I highly recommend WD Dow Plumbing and their courteous and professional staff. We lost running water from our well a few days before Christmas in 2021. I called Dow Plumbing, and they answered the phone right away. (This might not sound like much, but several other plumbers in my area did not or were too busy). Derrick was busy with scheduled service calls as well, but he still came by at around 10:00 pm that night and determined that the wellpump itself had died. He came back first thing the next morning, hauled up the hose and pump from the well, ordered a suitable wellpump to replace my old unit, and came back that same evening to install the new wellpump and restore our running water. He always kept me informed throughout this ordeal (which, again, might not sound like much until you've worked with some bad contractors who don't bother to tell you what's happening) and did this emergency replacement of the wellpump after regular working hours. While he was here, he also replaced the old noisy sumppump for good measure. I would definitely hire this company again for anything related to plumbing, the well, or the septic.

I posted my first review two years ago and in August I engaged them again for several jobs around our place. I called them because I was very satisfied the first time and Derick did not disappoint on his return visit. When changing the taps on our dual vanity he suggested changing the drains as they had not been properly done the first time. The bathroom taps, the drains, replacing the laundry room taps and replacing the sump pump was all completed in a half day so he works quickly and efficiently. No mess to clean up afterwards either. Previous: We had the good fortune to reach Detrick yesterday when the laundry drain sprung a leak. He was not too far away at that time and was able to respond quickly. By golly he was not only fast in arriving but fast in repairing the line and also looking into and fixing two other issues. He will be on speed dial from now on.

They were quick to find time for us in the coming week although they were busy on other jobs. Shawn was pleasant, efficient, and did a tremendous job of cleaning up as he went along. By the time he was finished you couldn't tell there had been a mess. Of course the installation was perfect and we have had no problems with the new taps or the awkward dishwasher installation.

Great service in an emergency!!! Our contractor cut our well wires working on the foundation and he came within a couple hours. He dug up the well pipes to check the motors and reconnected the wires for a work around until we could get it dug up. Thanks!

Great work all around. We have had the pleasure of working with Derrick for emergency calls and renovations. Would happily call Derrick for all future plumbing needs and refer him to friends, family and clients!
