I stopped by for a cold brew coffee and to drop off my barista resume. Besides it being a delicious cold brew, the space was clean and well thought out. Not to mention the owner was behind the bar a showed great skill in coffee making and customer service. Even if I don’t end up working here I pray they stay around for a long time. We need more shops like this! ❤️ A must stop if I am in Downtown BK!!! I had to add to this review 2 years later. The space has evolved into something downtown brooklyn needed. A warm place to get away from the hustle and bustle of daily work life. Coffee was perhaps the cleanest cup I’ve had in a while. The breakfast sandwich was perfection. The muffin was warm “like grandmas baking”. This got me super ready for my day. Wonder what weekend vibes are like!

the most long-waited sandwich in life. Arrived at 12noon, trying to order the egg sandwich and was informed about 30-40min waiting time as 3 to 4 orders were in hand. So I patiently waited with an Americano. By 1230, I approached the counter again, and told to wait by another staff for ANOTHER 30min since the batter was just finished. They apologized for miscommunication. Having time to waste today, I speechlessly sat back down with my unfinished coffee. By 1250, I went the third time just in case the batter was emptied again, I could finally order my sandwich. Another 20min went by, I then received my most long-waiter egg sandwich, which I looked forward at first to merely eating to fill my stomach after an hour+10min wait. Pretty dissatisfying and I suggest anyone who doesn't have time to waste hit other cafes.

If you need a nice coffee shop to relax in this is the place to do that! Very open and bright and the plants all around give a calming good vibe while being in the big city. The mocha and Americano are delicious and tasted very smooth and fresh! The chocolate croissant was very tasty. The avocado toast was so good! The bread was soft and topped with avocados baby tomatoes and a beet drizzle; so good! The staff was very friendly and helped make the environment calm and kind! Our group sat there talking for hours and made for an enjoyable time! Highly recommend this place!

I’m sorry I’m not usually a Karen but this is by far the worst restaurant/coffee shop experience I had this year. I’d love to support local small business but the staffs are terrible! This lady would talk to another customer when I’m at the desk mid ordering. And of course she got my order wrong. And when I pick up my order this guy was so rude and wanted make me feel bad when it was not my fault how ever you want to look at this? What a joke? (No sorry we got your order wrong or any form of apology were given)

I’ve been to many coffee shops in New York and I’ve even reviewed a few. This one falls short in customer service. The cashier did not listen to me and gave me avocado toast with a missing component. Then this woman came over to the table and tried to charge me money for the egg and said “oh, she didn’t hear you.” The barista was also very rude, interrupting me while I was ordering with “matcha latte?!?!?!?!” The avocado toast itself was average. Nothing to write home about. I wasn’t willing to pay for the egg on average toast. Oh, and a bug fell on my food lol!

Visiting the city for vacation and randomly found this place. Nice low key atmosphere with great coffee and great breakfast. If I was in town for work and needed a consistent place for coffee/breakfast this would be my go-to. The staff were also very nice and helpful.

A safe ok coffee place in downtown Brooklyn, but honestly there are more inviting and cosy spaces within 5-10 min walk. I wish the ambiance was less plain minimalistic and more inviting. The matcha was good though and they have ample room inside for seating, but the tables could have been cleaner. Also the service was fast and friendly.

Excellent space to meet with a small group of friends and grab good coffee. Airy and bright. I loved the egg sandwich, it's made with a super fluffy Japanese style omelette and a buttery and delicate bun. The almond croissant was a bit dry and crumbly, not as buttery and I expected.

BEST CROISSANTS IN THE NEIGHBORHOOD! Great place to grab a coffee. Courteous, friendly and very professional staff. Good lattes but the star of their beverage offerings is a custom matcha blend made in-house. As for their pastries, their croissants are unbelievable delicious. Better than Bien Cuit or Devocion. Absolutely with a visit for them alone.

The coffee here is really good. I loved their cappuccinos, also nice and strong coffee. The vibe is very laid back and welcoming, staff always friendly. They even have a punch card - 10th coffee is free! They have a small but nice selection of pasteries. I haven't had their smoothies yet but I've heard good things I love coming here on weekends. They have wifi (available with purchase) and it's nice to get some work done there.

  • Ding Han

Waited almost 30mins for my a breakfast sandwiches when the place was literally at 20% capacity. Was told the reason is everything is made to order. But then the food tastes like it was prepared days ago. They tried to overshadow it with tons of salt that it became unenjoyable. On top of that they missed part of our order, got upset and yelled at us when we said we ordered one more. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place!

  • Kaan Balimtas

The coffee is expertly made, very good. The breakfast sandwich is really good too, they do not skimp on the egg. Girlfriend and I really liked it. Also they take covid very seriously, gotta mask up to order and show vaccination to sit down.

Library was closed. Looked up laptop friendly cafe, this place popped up. Boy did google have it wrong. It was super uninviting. All of the outlets intentionally blocked off. No Wi-Fi provided. Code for the bathroom, no toiletpaper or soap. To me this screams get the hell out. And no surprise, the place was empty. The coffee was amazing though.

Edit- they play really loud music now. While it is great music, it’s not the best spot if you’re looking for a place to study and do work. They also covered all their outlets. They have various coffees, treats and teas. The space is bright and has tables and seating. NO OUTDOOR SEATING. They do close early so check the hours.

No plugs for charging, have to use the city public WiFi, weak signal. No longer a working space cafe for phone, computer, travelers seeking to recharge and go tourist walking. They blame it on COVID, people were overstaying with one coffee and they wanted customers to buy sandwiches. Products are good despite the actual reason I came in to work, now I have to find a real cafe to get some work done.

  • Andy Ng

Coffee shop by way of Asia. Good selection of beverages, with their own version of cold brew (Kyoto). Various light breakfast items and pastries are available -- also with an Asian twist. Plenty of seating and natural light to keep staying there, including both small tables as well as a large communal in the middle. Wifi is available. Unfortunately the AC was a little on the warm side.

  • Doraemon

Coffee to-go cup is very thoughtful. Almond croissant is just OK, but Japanese omelette sandwich is a must-have, the homemade pickled jam inside is the highlight. Of course, parlor coffee beans always make the coffee tasty. I love the black and white theme decorated with some cute bonsai! I don’t understand why all the review and pictures for this place are gone!?

  • K -

Great coffee and friendly staff. Establishment is close to the New York City Transit Museum and has a nice decor. Niches are carved out for individuals to sit and enjoy their cuppa or work on their devices. Fast service and unique blended drinks to help you stave off thirst for a bit.

Love this place and their subtle Asian twist on coffee and food offerings. They offer the best, most consistent matcha latte I've ever had. It's my go-to drink when I visit, but their lattes and killer as well. Ambiance is minimalist and cool, and they are very friendly with the locals. A nice counter-balance to the chains nearby.

  • JEA WON KWON

The worst customer service. Asked for americano in the large cup and the server was like we don’t do large. I was very annoyed but yeah it happens. Then i asked for the wifi password and he was like we dont provide wifi. Well, good luck with that attitude. This barista was so bad. Aint going back again with this kind of attitude

Clean, spacious, and stylish, White Noise serves up carefully constructed coffee and teas. The cafe has an upscale feel and wouldn't be a bad place for a morning meeting. Sometimes their zeal for delivering a perfect cup comes at a cost: time. If you're looking to get a fast cappuccino, you might do better at Mcdonalds.

I remember when you opened your doors. The avocado toast was a giant THICK slice of bread and avocado shaped as a rose on top. Now it’s half a very thin piece of sliced bread. I don’t get it? Price has gone up and there is half missing!? Doesn’t add up…

A great coffee shop - delicious beverages and pastries, plus some great looking dishes too. Gorgeous modern space where you can hang out. Best of all are the folks that work here -- so friendly and warm. Plus they've been supporting our local health care workers in this crisis, keeping them caffeinated!

We stopped there before heading towards the Brooklyn bridge. The iced coffee and the matcha latte were particularly tasty. The place was bright and had this modern feeling to it. The price is a little bit high compared to other coffee places around. The staff was friendly. More

Really impressed by the bright and modern space, competent service, and quality coffee here. Also, this part of Brooklyn needed something hip on an otherwise boring stretch between downtown and Cobble Hill. They also have WiFi and a nice bathroom (codes on receipt).

  • Juanli Carrión

Really good cold brew and freshly made baked goods. You can tell they care for details, since their coffee and food are exceptional. Hope the issue with the staff being rude got resolved. I was welcomed very nicely and everyone made sure I was being attended.

  • David Dmitry Kilin

The best coffee I’ve had in Brooklyn. I’ve even switched from 49th parallel to their own roasted beans for my home brews. These guys are on point across the board, even doing Kyoto cold drip brews which is rare in Brooklyn. Feel very lucky to have found em.

Not remote worker friendly. Overpriced compared to other local shops on their coffees. Has no wifi and all the outlets are blocked off. The shop could be cute but they have lots all boxes and random garbage all lines up against the main wall. just ok.

What’s the point of good food or good coffee if the staff is terrible? Han was absolutely rude to everyone, from customers to his coworkers. I couldn’t sit and enjoy my coffee here hearing how condescending and rude he was to everyone.

  • Laura Desplans

I got the avocado toast. It looked very good but I didn’t like it. The avocado was sitting on a very oily white fluffy piece of bread. I prefer the bread to be brown and less oily. Also, after tax the avocado toast alone was over $10.

Me and a friend were on our way to an event in the area and quickly stopped at White Noise Coffee. I got an Oat latte to go for about 6$ It wasn’t bad. Place is cute and some people were using it as a coworking space.
