A fun and surreal trip through lights and sounds and dreams... I don't want to say too much because I think it's better to go on blind but it's good fun! Very child friendly but we went without children and that's absolutely fine. All linked with themes of environmentalism, and fungi in particular. Good gift shop - although expensive! - mixture of quite scientific/popular science books, children's stuff, lots of t shirts and some decent art by local artists (along with your normal keyrings, pens, notebooks etc.) Didn't go to the cafe but I think it's all veggie or vegan! One of the members of staff told us that by February they'll be opening up a new floor and it will almost double in size! I'll be back to check it out

Hard to describe. But absolutely magical. Couples, families of all ages, everyone was walking around taking everything in with amazement and wonder in their eyes. Take your time, push stuff and twist things and find a secret door or two, it's worth investigating everything. Cafe is good at the end, reasonable prices. Our ticket was actually for the 1.30pm timeslot. We got there at 12.20pm so I went to ask if we could go and sit in the cafe and was very gratefully let in early to join the 12.30pm slot. Great customer service in that respect. The guides/actors are fab. Very enjoyable, mystical magical day out. Go with an open mind, explore, find your own themes, follow the threads, it's a hell of an experience.

What a find. We loved it here, both kids and adults :) we genuinely didn't know what to expect and I still can't really explain it other than it's great. Nothing like what I could have imagined. We were probably here a couple of hours so not an all day exploring experience but still worth a visit. It's good that you can take your time to explore at your own pace and there doesn't seem to be any right or wrong way to go. It's a case of exploring where you like. The restaurant /cafe looked lovely with a selection of hot and cold food and cakes but we didn't stay on this occasion. Really happy with our visit thank you! I didn't want to include lots of photos or too much detail as I don't want to spoil the surprises.

A stunning interactive dystopian reality, beautifully crafted by real creative talent. This was a great way to spend a Friday night, we went to the adult only evening and it meant that the adults could regress a little into play time. This incredible journey of colourful, creative warning signs, winding mazes and interactive puzzles, educating us gently about the importance of climate change. Those that couldn’t see the concept, I can’t really understand. It’s very clear from the beginning that you’re entering a portal with life turned upside down, and burdened by the ticking clock of humanities failures. It’s very powerful and can’t wait for the next phase to open in February!

Didn't really know what to expect when I arrived at wake the tiger.... it blew my mind how much detail and effort went into this arty crazy futuristic Park. With an underlying education twist to the environmental damage we're doing to our world. Be prepared to loose all sense of time and direction, open doors and don't be scared to touch the weird and wonderful things on display !! Everything sends you to a different universe!!! Highly recommend to everyone ... Young and old will love this amazing attraction. Will definitely be returning very soon .

This place was booked on a whim but, we loved it. The start was a tad forced but, once immersed in the experience, it was great. There was so much to see and do. It was very quirky and different to anything we have been to before. Although our 1 year old loved all the lights, they weren't able to explore independently. So please be aware of that if you have little explorers. There was so much detail in every room and you could quite easily spend a lot more time there if you read and interacted with everything.

Great immersive and diverse experience, lots of detail to explore, from secret passages to hidden games, and puzzles. You'll need at least an hour, more if you want to try everything. Took a little time for our 3 year old to warm to it, but she was in her element once she did. There was plenty of parking, though I can imagine it gets really busy at peak time. Definitely recommend. Book in advance, but the cafe/bar had decent coffee and great snacks, so we had a bite before our scheduled time

I took my 10 year old and my 6 year old and we had a fantastic time! We got there early and had lunch in the café, which is such a brilliant unique space with genuinely tasty food. We then went on to the experience and we all really enjoyed it. I hadn't expected it to be so vast and have so much to do. The puzzles were achievable but not too easy, the spaces were beautiful and interesting, the staff were all fully in character and enthusiastic. We absolutely loved it and would highly recommend.

Really wanted to love Wake The Tiger but we left underwhelmed and a bit stressed out. Far too many people were allowed in at one time which meant there was limited space in some of the rooms, it felt claustrophobic, and there were queues at the interaction points. The narrative was overly detailed and so we struggled to follow it. We really appreciated the creativity and effort that went into the build - and it was stunning to look at - but a few tweaks are needed to improve the experience, and this would justify the £20 ticket.

  • Boseybear

Went on an adults only night and virtually first through the door. All the staff were excellent especially the actors in the rooms, lifted the whole experience more. So much to see and do difficult to take it all in so went back around again, loved the secret doorways inside the cupboards. Went in the cafe at the end it was really good, I highly recommend the garlic fries. The whole experience was amazing had a kinda Dismaland feeling to it.

Visited here while working on 2:1 ratio with a young lady I support. First, I was a bit concerned by some of the reviews I’d read. However, from the second we arrived - the whole experience was exceptional! It took us just over one hour to complete BUT that was enough for our lady. I could have stayed easily for 2-3 hours. So much effort has gone into this place. So many nooks and crannies to find and little quizzes and challenges along the way. The whole experience was fantastic and I will definitely be returning.

Very difficult to explain but you're transported to an other world that's suffering ecological problems. Kids will be engaged with the puzzles and quest side. Adults will be mesmerised and entertained by the creativity too. I didn't know where i was half the time, avatar, hobbit, fallout 4, just a visual delight. Definitely recommend this experience for all unless you're an epileptic or suffer from problems with flashing lights.

A truly amazing experience. It's a bit like the Crystal Maze but much more immersive. There's so much to explore and find, we were looking at how sound waves create patterns in water when a couple of people emerged from a hidden room through a metal cupboard behind us! At the end we enjoyed a nice cake and drinks in the very cool cafe. A brilliant time and genuinely something I've never seen anywhere else.

This place is amazing, photos can’t fully do it justice! The attention to detail is incredible , there isn’t a corner of this place that hasn’t been thought out perfectly. No matter what age you are this place is a must see. Staff were lovely and very helpful when our teen lost her phone but thankfully it was handed in and we got it back so thank you for that whoever you were! I’ve already been telling people they need to see this place asap !

  • Oliver Andrews

What an amazing experience! Wasn’t sure what to expect and kind of thought it would be like Fantasy Lab in vegas but this is something else even better! It starts a bit slow but you soon become entangled in a maze of mystery and secrets. Even for us adults it had a wow factor so for any kids it’s going to be absolutely mind blowing. Definitely recommended!

We really enjoyed our experience. The quality and intricacy of the rooms throughout the world were amazing, with so much attention to detail and overall effect. Visiting with kids, it was perhaps more difficult to follow the overall theme of 'Meridia' and the guilds; for us it was.more of an interactive arts/creative experience.

A really well-put together immersive environment, but difficult to navigate, and not a lot to interact with. Excellent coffee in the cafe, but upon eating my second forkful of a brownie there was a hair in it. Overall, an experience not worth the money due to circumstance, and a lack of things to do. Don't go if you're over 16

We went during a visit to Bristol over half term. Our 6 & 2 year olds loved it. Lots of interactive parts and secret doors which the children absolutely loved. We ended up going round 2 times to make sure we hadn’t missed anything, which we invariably had. The cafe was also reasonably well priced when so often they charge through the nose.

This was a great experience, so many bizarre things to see, secret doors and puzzles to solve. It was fabulous. Definately recommend if live near or passing through Bristol. We was on a wkend stay down there but think need to open one further North too so I can go again without having to travel hours to get there.

Wait the Tiger is an amazing experience !!! I have been twice and there was new things the second time. They are building an upstairs so I can't wait to go back and see this !! I would suggest going at quiet times if you are in a wheelchair as some parts are narrow and hard to get in if there are loads of people.

Absolutely fantastic trip! Went with the wife and discovered this on a whim, and so glad we visited. A great mix between art installation and science/activity center and a feast for the senses, couldn't have asked for a more immersive experience and we look forward to the completion of the expansion.

a very cool place for entertainment in bad weather, we went there with friends who flew to visit us from another country, everyone was delighted, probably not so good with small children. we spent 2 hours there, and it could have been longer, but our session was the last, I highly recommend it

We had so much fun. We got to the end the first time, went back through and found more rooms and activities! 2 adults with 3 kids 11, 9 and 7. Would happily go back again without the kids too! The garlic butter fries in the café afterwards were epic and gorgeous things in the gift shop

A really great experience! My BF took me as a surprise and I had no idea what to expect. There is so much to explore and see and we got lost several times - some advice: always try to open doors and cupboards! The cafe at the end does excellent banoffe cake!

I really enjoyed this experience, never been to anything like it before! We found this by accident, the ticket was reasonably priced for the amount of time we were trying to find secret entrances and passageways. If you're ever in Bristol and want something different to the typical tourist sites I'd recommend going here, good for all ages.

  • Sharon

I never fully understand what we were going to see until we were there. It's pretty mind opening and boggling at the same time. Kids loved it! We spent almost 3 hrs here, would definitely recommend it. P.s wear UV reactive clothes for that extra bit of fun.

Amazing experience, super detailed, beautiful and interactive. It has clearly been designed and built with great care. Fun storyline too, felt like you were the main character of a sci fi book.
