This is a location where are you cannot shop safely with the understanding that the security actually need security. Upon entering the store I was met with a security officer who was leaning against a pallet of waters laughing out loud to a video screen where he was Yes believe it or not FaceTime and using profanity. Upon addressing this issue it became clear to me that this person is mentally unstable to handle the job as was reported by several supervisors on staff to which it was ignored. After speaking to Lonnie the store manager he gave a lot of excuses about how they cannot control who’s over there but continue to report he claimed this was the only time that he had gotten a complaint yet as I for mention he was given complaints by supervisors about their safety. We as a community need to stand up for our safety and demand that people who are put over our stores for security are themselves not a public threatWhen you see a person not doing their job that is a person who is not going to be ready if you are Rob on your way to the car so make sure that you report these incidents immediately to the Walgreens corporate office and have the store manager call you back and demand that they make a complaint. This guy was only worried about the fact that they need a man in the store as a prop but was less concerned about him doing his job and this is the store manager Lonnie

Cons...... Long lines Parking is tight and horrendous to get in and out of at times. Layout is weird and finding merchandise is a challenge because they change the location of the merchandise sometimes. Didn’t have a ATM because of the vandals of last summer. Merchandise is locked up and finding the ringer (button for assistance) is not located everywhere throughout the store as it should be. Took a person (SALES ASSOCIATE) a minute today to answer the ringer for assistance for me to get a locked product. Not all product is available like with other Walgreens locations and have a small food section, other Walgreens have more food to offer in their store. The Pharmacy staff looked as though they took some of the medication prescribed by the customer’s Doctor because they looked lucid and just plain out of it!! PROS...... The Cashiers are always pleasant when I go in this store. The Security Guard helped and assisted - went beyond her job - responsibilities in finding a bag of ice for me. Finding a bag of ice was a challenge and wasn’t easily visible for the customer to see and buy. They always have bubblegum at this location because I am a big fan of bubblegum. Double Bubble. They finally got a new ATM located in the store now. ⭐️⭐️ For the Pros and minus three because of all the Cons listed above.

The morning manager, the light skinned lady is VERY unprofessional and has POOR customer service skills. Is this who Walgreens put in position to run their operations. I use to go to this location because it's close to my home. But NOW I REFUSE to spend my hard earned dollar with services like the service you get in the 6am morning hours at this location on 87th & Stony Island. I get off of work in the morning so this use to be where I stop some days on my way home, but not anymore. The last time I went here I needed assistance. So I asked her, and I received nothing but attitude. That was the 3rd unsatisfying encounter I had with this lady..... 3 strikes and your out

This is the WORST Walgreens pharmacy I’ve ever been to. And I’ve had asthma my whole life and lived all over the country. So you can imagine how many I’ve been to. The customer service is trash. They talk to the elderly like they mean nothing. I really wanted to put my hands on this middle aged black dark skin woman talkin to a 80 something yr old woman like she was a child. Totally disrespectful. They didn’t use to be like this before 2023. All of need to be fired. They work soooooo slowly. And come to work to eat lunch and crack jokes and talk amongst eachother ALLLLL DAY

The wait at this pharmacy is absurdly long and the female cashier is rude as well as sarcastic. If you are a Walgreens reward member, make sure to give them your card or number at the beginning of your transaction. If not, they will have the audacity to scan their own Walgreens card, unbeknownst to you, taking the points that should have been customer's. Instead of closing the Walgreens on 95th and Jeffery, they should have closed this one on 87th and Stoney. CVS pharmacy is looking good right about now...

Since the Walgreens on 95th & Jeffrey closed the service at the 87th & Stoney Island is to bad to even rate. Long lines rude service. I switched from cvs because of bad service & now again with Walgreens. Please if at all possible open Walgreens back on 95th & Jeffrey just for the pharmacy for seniors. Those service people were the best and gave us good service. I really would like to stay in my neighborhood because of my medical condition but if this continues other measures will be taken.

I had a bad experience in this walgreen's, when i first walk in the lady wasn't there i wait for like 30min no body saying anything i asked and again no one respond and later on someone show up. First in this whole place they have 1 computer to print photo out it was a client seating there and dont even know what she was doing it took this client about another 30min while i m waiting to get my photo printed...this place is just sock.

The employees are to be commended, outstanding! There was an elderly lady in line in front of me, unfortunately what was going on seemed to be a scam from her Facebook. (Requesting cards/wired money) They explained to her that's it's a scam, and even they offered to help her block the person trying to scam her out of her money. Keep looking out and protecting our elders, thank you for all you do! Absolutely wonderful

Worst pharmacy experience EVER! My doctor called in an urgent script for me. Had I not gotten it that night, I would be in the ER the next day. They played games with me on the phone, multiple holds, asking for docs number and still claiming they never got the script. My white caregiver shows up and they miraculously find my meds. These MFers need to stop playing with people's lives.

employees are usually nice, store is clean and arranged well but there is always a panhandler, a person drinking etc. in front of the store, right by the entrance a lot of people I know avoid this store because of this issue and one that even called in was told they were going to fix this issue but didn't. If this problem was solved it'll be a great walgreens location.

Staff seems okay. Weren't friendly, but polite enough. Be very careful in that parking lot. Although security is in the store, they may not help out there. While a young man was getting beat up in the parking lot, no one stepped outside to investigate or help him while it was going on, but he believes store security was looking at him while it was going on.

The pharmacy is seems like they take their time when putting in prescriptions. It’s unexceptable when you place a prescription they give you a estimated time it should be ready you come in time after the time they gave u and your order still isn’t ready. Could have went to another Walgreens and gotten better and faster service.

This is far the worst walgreens I have ever dealt with. They delivered your medication, to the wrong address and didnot take ownership for there mistakes. I will be contacting corporate of this very unethical action and problem that walgreens caused for my family and I. So disgusted!!!!!!!-

This Walgreens Pharmacy Staff you can depend on very Professional and Courteous. They valued you as a customer. They will have your prescription ready in a timely matter. I been coming here since 2014 to present.

This Walgreens is terrible the manager chris had his employees laughing and playing while customers are standing around hours with no one staying what's going on terrible place you should visit other locations

I called the pharmacy for an entire week and they refused to answer the phone. I feel sorry for seniors and ill people that really depend on them for their prescriptions. I have taken my business elsewhere.

Worst pharmacy in Chicago. Won't answer the phone and you wait a minimum of 2 hrs on a simple perscription sitting in the store. Waste of time. Osco can do in 10 mins what they take 2 hrs to do.

This walgreens is horrible. Its little to no staff, the pharmacy doesn't put your prescriptions in even if the doctor sends over. You have to call them in order for them to fix it. So good luck

I go here because it's close to home. The female officer at this location is very rude and unhelpful. If asked to deal with a yelling customer, she ignores them. I do not feel safe here.

Not a very long wait time in pharmacy. Cashiersbare polite and helpful. They get you outbas fast as possible. They are very professional

Management does the ABSOLUTE minimum to help with errors their staff cause. Their solution is “call the bank, there nothing we can do”.
