JUNE 27, 2019 at 8:49 p.m. I checked out at Walgreens and had a question for the cashier about my transaction. He was very indifferent and did nothing to try and answer my question. He spoke so low that I could barely hear anything that he said (and I hear just fine). It was though he was "to cool to speak." I asked to speak to a manager to further assist me. He replied, " OK but it may take awhile because he might be busy. " I replied 'OK" and waited patiently. The manager did come right out and answered my question promptly. The cashier however acted as though I was bothering him for asking a basic question. As a business owner in the Indianapolis, metro area, I realize that quality, courteous service should ALWAYS be a mainstay at any company. Either the training at Walgreens is severely compromised, or this employee slipped through the employment vetting process. All That being said, I would like this issue addressed as I will take my business elsewhere if this type of insufficient performance continues to manifest in Walgreen's team members.
Don’t use this pharmacy. It took them five days, yes FIVE to fill a prescription for a very common antibiotic. I called and called. Each time I would get a “sorry the pharmacist is on another line.” No option to leave a message. The longest I waited was 45 minutes. Thankfully, I must not have had a sinus infection since it resolved itself in 48 hours using over the counter meds. Had it not resolved I would have had my prescription moved elsewhere. I have now been trying to call them to cancel the prescription and can’t get a hold of them. It shouldn’t be this difficult to get ahold of a pharmacy, or at the very least leave a message. Does anyone work here? Go to another pharmacy, don’t waste your time here.
I honestly don't know how they consider themselves a pharmacy. It's literally a toss up at this location whether or not the pharmacy is open. I do understand that there might be a shortage in workers, but the hours never match what they've written in the updated hours/ days on the window. Recently I was unable to get my prescription before I left town because the pharmacy was closed for 3 days. They had posted on a piece of paper in the window that it would be open the day we left so I didn't transfer my prescription. However they were closed when we were headed out of town. Luckily my prescription was not life dependent but for a lot of people it is. This is unexcusable.
So I scheduled a Covid test at this location and the only option I could find was drive-thru. I don't own a car but figured it would be no big deal as they could just hand me the test through the window (I've done this at CVS before). When I got there they told me there was no way to give me the test without a car, and there was no option to step inside to take the test. Luckily my friend was willing to drive over so I could step into his car, get the test at the window, and step out to bike home. I gotta imagine there are lots of people being prohibited from testing becuase of this weird stipulation. Pretty frustrating experience.
Dropped off prescription made sure they had quantity in stock and was told yes. A week later called to see where my prescription was and they had done nothing with it and now out of stock and not sure where the hard copy of my prescription is. Their excuse…they have been randomly closed due to staffing issues. The tech was so rude over the phone and I asked to speak with the pharmacist which she said was busy. I will NEVER fill another prescription here. They do NOT care and staff go out of their way to be rude and disrespectful. Go to another pharmacy that deserves your business and will be helpful and SMILE!
This has to be the worst pharmacy in the Indianapolis area. I have been left on hold multiple times for over 20 minutes, a couple of times for over 35 minutes. The communication from the staff and management to their patients is horrendous. I have had to have my prescription transferred a few times now because they have been out of a particular medication. This was not communicated to me which lead me to be without my necessary medication for several days which caused huge health issues. 0 stars and everyone there should be fired and replaced with a more component staff and management.
If you plan on getting birth control perscriptions here, go somewhere else. Someone on their pharmacy team doesn't like contraceptives and are making it difficult to fill a perscription. I was told that my perscription was canceled, then kept switching from in process to out of stock for a whole week. I finally went there myself and got it no problem, but the cashiers wouldn't listen to my dilemma (I sure she got that a lot and it wasn't her fault). The woman behind me had the same problem, and I was told we're not the only ones at this pharmacy.
Rude, incompetent, and insensitive staff. I just moved to a new city and have never had a problem transferring a prescription to a new pharmacy. The pharmacist at this location has failed to transfer my prescription for 3 days now, causing my medications to be late. I have waited on hold for about 30 minutes twice now to try and have this script transferred. Truly shocked by the insensitive tone, unwillingness to help, and poor communication skills from this pharmacy. I will not return and would not recommend this pharmacy to anyone. 0 stars.
One of the worst managed Walgreens store. I had appointments for family COVID-19 booster and flu shots. After a wait of 30 minutes over appointment time, we were told to stand in a medication pickup line. Once we reached the pharmacist tech, it took her 20 minutes to add insurance info and still she was not able to proceed. Have to reschedule for a CVS. Pharmacy manager seems to be RUDE & RACIST in her behavior. Never going to use Walgreens. I will rather wait till next day, even in an emergency to go to Walgreens in the future.
Revised review: Literally everyone who works the front of the store is super nice and helpful. I honestly love going in this location because the people are so great. Pharmacy still sucks, though. Old Review: Literally every time we go to this location it's a disaster. The thin, black, pharmacist lady with the glasses is incredibly rude and talks AT you and won't listen to anything you say. It's honestly been a long time since I've encountered someone THAT rude.
This pharmacy is horrible! A script was called in on May 11 and still wasn't ready by May 17th! I had to wait 30 minutes for it, I get it home, AND ITS A SCRIPT THAT MY MOTHER DOESNT TAKE! I go back with wrong script and they say that the correct script wasn't called in, and I have proof that it was! They gave me the wrong controlled substance! It could have killed her if I hadn't noticed it was a completely different drug! BEWARE!
If I could give this pharmacy negative stars I would. They are literally never open and I am constantly delayed on my prescription and miss taking it for days because they can't be bothered to adequately staff this location. My insurance requires a Walgreen's and now I think maybe it is because they are literally never open and can get out of paying for my meds. They should just close the store if they can't keep it staffed.
Reading these many bad reviews made me feel better. I guess I’m not the only person who has experienced that awfully rude woman in the pharmacy. Today she was so rude and disrespectful that a pharmacist came and took over, he was very helpful but certainly he witnessed how disrespectful she was. Hopefully something gets done. I’m thinking of changing my pharmacy now. I go there because it’s close but there are many options.
This place has always been my go to for prescriptions. My fiancé has been trying for days to just pick up a filled prescription, but they are either on an endless lunch break and or closed. If you have life altering medication I would not put your life in their hands. And did I mention the very unfriendly lady that works the window? If my word isn’t enough download neighborhood app and see the complaints for yourself.
A regular Walgreen's customer here in WI, was driving through and needed some items. I checked out in Cosmetics and the sweet lady checking us out looked through her supply of manufacturers coupons for 3 of our items and saved us $5.75! She was awesome and the experience well exceeded my expectation and any Walgreen's visit ever, & I've been a customer a long time!
The pharmacy staff at this Walgreens all act like their dog just died. Smile people. Be friendly. Learn customer service. As previous posts pointed out this location is WAY more difficult to deal with compared to CVS when it comes to prescription refills. It's always something. Have since switched to CVS for all prescriptions and couldn't be happier.
I was just here picking up a prescription. This is not the first time I have been treated so rudely. I will be switching to a different pharmacy as soon as I can. This is a a beautiful african american woman who is always rude, frustrated, and I seem to be putting her out to even come to the window. I would not recommend this location at all!!!!
I’ve been trying to buy a product for the last week that I know they either have in the back or has just been sold out every time I go to check. The employees tell me conflicting times that shipments will come in or when it’ll be back on the shelf. I’ve called a few times and each time they say to wait and then put me on hold but never come back
I never had problems with this pharmacy until recently- their hours are constantly changing and I can’t tell you how many times that I’ve stopped in and they’ve just randomly closed due to staffing issues. They’re impossible to reach by phone, and I’m missing doses because of it. Don’t place something as important as your health in their hands.
THE (blonde haired ) PHARMASIST IS RUDE, VINDICTIVE, AND ARBIRTARY IN FILLING PRESCTIPTIONS. SHE REFUSED TO FILL A DR'S PRESCRIPTION CLAIMING IT WAS TOO EARLY TO FILL BUT CVS HAD NO PROBLEM FILLING IT 20 MINUTES LATER. HAVE HAD SEVERAL INTERACTIONS WITH HER AND ALL WERE THE SAME. Took my son today to be seen for asthma in the clinic and clinic was closed. This was an inconvenience since I called before to verify my insurance coverage before going to clinic today to make sure he was covered. I went between normal business hours, not sure why there were signs saying close. Had to drive further to Medcheck.
THE WORST SERVICE EVER. Charisse was my tech and she was rude and made me get in the back of the line after waiting for AN HOUR. She was complaining saying that I couldn’t possibly understand how long she’s been here for since she’s been here since 11. GIRL THIS IS YOUR JOB ARE YOU KIDDING at least you get paid
Literally just left and this employee screamed “John you are so ffing funny!” I mean screamed it across the store like if my kids we inside with me at the time it would have been a really big issue because I don’t use that kind of language in front of my child .please save it for the break room
The staff was very helpful and kind during a busy rush from having gotten stock of at home covid tests. You were able to buy 4 boxes with two tests in each totaling 8 tests! The staff was efficient and very understanding that people really want those tests. They were behind the front desk area.
Avoid if you can. Their pharmacy staff is rude and woefully incompetent. The store is chronically understaffed so your wait will be long. On multiple occasions I have been told they don’t begin to process your prescription until you come to pick it up, again causing long wait times.
Charisse in the pharmacy has acted angry and raised her voice at me, unprompted, on at least two occasions...and I still don't understand why. Maybe because I asked questions? It was sudden, upsetting, and completely unprofessional. And that's why I'm switching back to CVS.
Spent over 25 minutes on hold for pharmacy. Was 2nd in line for pharmacy then first in line then I got a message that they were taking other calls for 25 + minutes. I finally hung up. I had an important question about my tetanus shot status. I am done with them.
Staff member (no name tag) at the photo desk was extremely disrespectful to all 9 people around me. She made everyone feel uncomfortable as she barked at each person for no reason. Another man mentioned that she didn’t need to be so rude. 1-4-20 at 6:45pm.
Worst Walgreens location I've ever come across. They don't even know how to take a passport photo. My photos were rejected because they didn't have the correct head to body ratio, and they have a computer that, when it works, does it for them. Terrible!
Oh lord - I receive numerous calls to pick up a refill only to be told they nothing for me at the pharmacy - because they were looking for the wrong medication - poor technician could barely speak or understand English - gotta find a new place for sure
I spoke with a lady this morning about a refill.She said she would have it ready well she did not .She said the lady must not have did the refill. You are the lady like people are sick and need meds.i asked her for her name she hung up.
Employee stocking shelf is not wearing a mask. I mentioned that to the employee at the cash register. The employee said it was her supervisor and she couldn't do anything about that. I won't be back.

On hold for the pharmacy for almost an hour and never talked to anyone. The last 30 minutes, the recording kept saying there was 1 call ahead of me. I finally gave up.

Just got accused of stealing! The old guy asked for my receipt and I showed it to him. He said "Oh, I just wanted to make sure". That was incredibly rude.
