If I could give this store no Star all I would! last few times I’ve been here the customer service is the worst. Including a manager by the name of Sylvia. I went in there to get a few items that were on sale with coupon and because the Walgreens app wouldn’t add the coupon they told me they couldn’t sell it, what the heck! They claimed the store doesn’t have Internet, please people how does the store operate without internet? What lies, and the fact that they didn’t even know why coupons weren’t being added to the app, ridiculous!! They could care less I left and went to cvs and they do have internet. They need a class in Customer Service skills. Today I went again to pick up some pictures I needed and again when I tried to add curbside it said safari unable to open page, I called the store while I was outside to say internet wouldn’t allow me to add curbside, the lady named Sylvia again proceeded to say well it’s against policy if you haven’t paid, I told her I would pay and add curbside but it wouldn’t allow me. I told her they told me last time they have no internet, she said we’ve always had internet, I told her to make up their mind. They say they don’t have it so they don’t have to help customers, what a shame!! I told her to forget it and I would take my business elsewhere. These people are so rude please don’t go here, I will spread the word to family and friends and co workers that this Walgreens is really bad. Rude staff I’m lauding the manager.
They used to be good but now for the last 3 or 4 months in a row they can't seem to fill my reoccurring prescription on time. I would understand if it was a one-time thing and they didn't have it but this is something that they know is coming up every single month and still fail to get it on time. I called today to ask what the problem was and they said they had to get it from Some central location in Dallas. They said it takes 2 days fine but this prescription was supposed to be filled on the 5th and it's now the 9th which is more than 2 days. Their website is saying it won't even be filled until the 11th which is 6 days not two. As I was talking to the pharmacist she decided to ignore everything I was saying and talk to other people in the background and when I asked was she plans to do about this in the future she said we'll order it a week in advance and then hung up on me. Incredibly rude stuff and not helpful at all. They know this prescription is coming up and it's one that needs to be taken daily and yet they consistently fail to do their job
On Thursday evening of February 6, 2020, I arrived to transfer my script from the CVS at the corner of S.W. Military Drive and IH-37 to this Walgreens locale. Unbeknownst to me, CVS does not have an RX Contract with Tri-Care and the pharmacy tech graciously advised me that he'd be happy to transfer my script to the Walgreens at Goliad Rd. And I did. The Pharmacy Tech at Walgreen on this evening at approx. 20:31, was gracious and warmly accepted my explanation and the rest was easy. Unfortunately, I've forgotten the young lady's name and I failed to fulfill the survey within the 72 hour period. So, I'm writing this to clarify that this young lady's exemplary customer skills are what creates a cause and effect-the customer's at ease with the knowledge that they'll be respectfully welcomed. I agree with a previous comment about the pharmacy staff being lazy and rude. After waiting almost 10 minutes at the drive through (only one of the lanes was open) to pick up the prescription decided to back out and go inside. Got to the counter but no one was there. I could see the pharmacist but he completely ignored me. When someone did finally come around a car had driven up (the previous one that took forever had already left) and instead of the clerk telling that person to wait I was the one that had to KEEP waiting. This is horrible customer service and from now on will go to the CVS across the street!
This pharmacy at this particular location has to be the worst for customer service my parents have been taking their business there for over 20 years and every time they cannot fix the issue . I have had my dad run out of his insulin. Because they cannot call the isnauranxe and fix it . I have had the insurance call them directly and they still could not fix the situation it never fails something is alway wrong with them trying g to fill their prescriptions. Then to top it off they are the only Pharmacy in all of San Antonio that closes for lunch what happened to customer service ?
This Walgreens is busy drugstore, but I have always had the pharmacy call me when its ready for pick up and I go through the drive through expecting that they are not just waiting for me since there are usually people ahead of me. I also shop inside this and other Walgreens and have not had a bad experience in any of them considering all stores are short staffed like a lot of other businesses now. More dollars and cents for the CEOs and low wages for employees.♀️ Thank goodness there is always high priced CVS to shop, I guess.
I went to Walgreens on a different locations and the cashier gave $5 coupon. So later on today I went to this Walgreens on military and the cashier told me sorry we cant use your coupon even though you got it today. You have go back to Walgreens where you got the coupon to use it. And Jason the manager didn't even bother to help. It doesn't make sense.
Service is good during the day but there’s so many homeless people. I just went to go pick up pictures and a homeless women is sitting on the car and sees me come out and follows me to the car asking for cash and I told her i didn’t have any and she kept insisting to give her money and asked for my purse. Try and go in groups if you plan on going.
Ok I'll keep it simple because that's the way they do me. The pharmacy dept here is very unprofessional. I found that they do not like to work any harder than they want to. They tell me things like, "I'll have to go to another Walgreens, because they get off in two minutes!" Nice place..NOT!
I came in wanting to change my prescriptions from Walmart to Walgreens. I've always loved Walgreens, they have always been so friendly and helpful. That is not the case at this location. I was treated very rudely and unprofessional. I guess I'll be staying with walmart...
The staff Jory was very helpful and kind. The store was also very clean and organized. We were surprised that the review for this store is so low so my girlfriend urged me to do a review. Maybe they have improved a lot over the time.
The staff are very rude I went there one day and this guy in the front he’s the pharmacist he has so much attitude and when people turn around he makes ugly faces towards customers im going to change to Walmart it’s unprofessional

I was denied a medication just because i didnt have a US ID. Ive never come here before i i always went to Heb and never had this problem. Do not recommend to my fellow hispanics !!!
Roland is a Very freindy,helpful, and I could tell he's very grate full for this job, we need more people like him representing Walgreens in san Antonio Tx.

The pharmacy is very slow . Every time I use the drive thru it's at least 15 minutes with no other cars waiting. As much as 30 .
