Went for my son’s scheduled vaccine booster a few months ago and the pharmacy was closed during normal hours. Went to ask someone up front what was going on and I think she said something about someone getting sick, which I understand in this day and age, but they need to have a system to notify people so we can look into alternatives. This past weekend, I took my son for a PCR test and after well over 48 hrs, I called because I never received results. The guy said it was still showing “pending” which most likely meant the lab never tested the sample. He said it as if this was not the first time this has happened. What?! Then said he has no way to contact the lab. How are they not able to communicate with a lab they regularly send samples to??? It’s also disappointing that they allow you to add on a flu test to your covid test appointment, but only allow you to do the covid test at the drive thru then tell you to come in for the flu test. They should definitely offer both tests through the drive through, especially for the same appointment.
It is beyond frustrating and ridiculous that I am not able to pick up my prescription due to the COVID lines. Walgreens keeps calling me and asking me to pick up but they don’t have separate registers just for checkout. I have invested two hours of my day. First they’re closed for lunch, ok my bad I guess. Then I come in the evening twice between 6:00 and 9:00 pm and both drive through and pharmacy lines are super backed up because each COVID transaction is so time consuming. Maybe Walgreens should stick to the business of dispensing medications as originally intended and quit trying to get wealthy by cashing in on COVID tests and vaccines. Leave that part for clinics and physicians. Ugh!!!!
On 8 Dec 21, I walked in with my son and the pharmacy refused to give him his covid or flu shot without an appointment. I didn't love that but understood. So I went through the process of making him an appointment. Then on 9 Dec 21, the pharmacy closed without notifying people with scheduled appointments. I called other walgreens and none were willing to honor the appointment. This was a very unprofessional experience. We are human and I understand things happen but update the people who followed your process OR allow walk-ins......staff is always friendly but when lines are backed up it takes a act on congress to get them to open multiple registers
Avoid this pharmacy at all costs. Issues I’ve had over this past year include taking long periods of time for my orders, not bothering to inform me when insurance tells them they require more information, giving conflicting information resulting in wasted trips and time and finally, the manager Chris is extremely rude. His attitude over the weekend was the final straw. I called and screened the Walgreens pharmacy located at EVANS and 281 and found out their procedure is considerably different. They claim to be more hands-on, polite, and competent in their approach. So I moved all my prescriptions to them.
I was perscribed the wrong meds I called Walgreens, I spoke to a rude gentleman about my meds, he said he refilled what the drs office perscribed and I would have to contact my drs office. I contact my drs office the nurse said Walgreens are doing refills only and have been since October 2021 when the initial prescription was called in and they have perscribed you the correct meds until now. I had my drs office send all my prescriptions back to CVS. How many people has this store made sick? Why all the constant bad reviews and nothing is changing?
TRULY AWFUL - ALSO DANGEROUS. Last week, THEY ALMOST GAVE ME A FLU SHOT instead of the shingles shot I requested. They did not catch this error - I did. Today, my photobook order was not only NOT READY, it was not able to be completed because one of their machines was broke. Was told they tried to call me - nothing from store in call history and no voicemail. I did, however, have the email saying the order WAS ready and to come pick it up! This is not the first time I have had an issue with a photo order at this store, but it will be the last.
The pharmacy was very well ran until Sarah left. Pharmacy continues to go downhill. They now send your prescription to Dallas fulfillment center & each prescription is put in huge bottles, which is a waste of huge bottles & space in your cabinet. I have requested time & again for the local pharmacy fill my prescriptions but I'm ignored. As much as I detest CVS's invasion I'm going to move my prescriptions to them. At least CVS still fills prescriptions in store.
My mom and I were coming in today to get our annual shots. My mom was having a problem with the insurance and the pharmacist Christopher was really helpful in trying to resolve the situation. Once he helped us resolve the situation, he was also the one to give the shot and he did a fantastic job. My mom and I didn’t even feel a thing! I would recommend Christopher and we would come here again! Thank you Christopher! :)
Prescriptions are never ready when they are suppose to be. I now wait for them to call me to tell me they are ready. (Usually 24 hrs after being called in.)Ridiculous wait times to pick up once finally ready…due to covid testing…? It feels like the DMV, understaffed, and no one give a care. …don’t even get me started on the photo department. We have started to use a location farther from our house.
I was charged $98 for a medication that, on the website, turned out to be advertised as more than half. Another drugstore advertised as $28. I was charged so much because I showed a VA card. VA does not reimburse us for meds! I will remember to have my prescription to be sent elsewhere next time as well as my business. Thanks for sticking it to a vet in need.
I would not go get tested for covid here especially through their drive thru, they didn't check ID so who knows if my identity is mixed with someone else's. I never get my results but I received my son's results on the same day (he got tested at the same time that I did) so something wrong must've happened cause I use same email to receive both our results
I was notified at 5:41pm my prescription was ready - only for the pharmacy to close at 6pm?? Mind you it was sent since 12pm today. In other occasions they never notify me or update me about my medicine including antibiotics for my kiddos. Only until I go in person to ask did they tell me “oh we didn’t have it in stock..” worst pharmacy ever
Called to check that they did Tetnus Vaccinations. Told they did but were closed for lunch 1:30-2:00. Asked if I showed up at 1:00 would they have time to do shots. Said definitely. I arrived at 1:00 and the pharmacist refused to do the shots until after 2:00. I drove there specifically for the Vacs during the time they specified.
Terrible experience every single time. The reason I continue to go back and give them chances either it be just goods in general or prescription they are the absolute worst. Go to any other Drug store and you will be instantly more impressed. These people need to be fired and someone else put in their place. I DO NOT RECOMMEND.
This Walgreen's is definitely improving. Today, I had a great experience with one of the pharmacy techs, Kris. She was fast and made every effort to ensure that she got us the most reasonable price for some expensive medication. She really went above and beyond to provide spectacular customer service.
Excellent service. Son had an ear infection and this pharmacy was not able to fill the prescription the same day, so the lady called another nearby Walgreens and was able to transfer it. Went and picked up the prescription 20 mins later. Was very pleased with the help and quickness of the staff.
It is a scam!! The system gave me my Covid vaccine appointment today at 10am. I just went to the pharmacy and surprise!! The pharmacy is closed!! They make waste my time and money. They give you the appointment just to go there and buy something, but not vaccine. Walgreens is a scam!!
Been waiting at their drive thru window for 15 mins now and no one shows up. I can see them walk back and forth inside, but they don’t bother answering. Prescriptions are never ready when they are supposed to begin with and now the waiting… Theres gotta a better pharmacy around here …
Over 40 minutes of waiting for pharmacy to answer phone, only to have to call back and take even longer. Pharmacy drive through is ridiculously slow, sometimes 15+ minutes per car. But, let's look on the bright side, they still had candy canes well into January, so there's that.
Pharmacy is totally disorganized. They supposedly have two lines (one for covid, one for prescriptions) but they just serve people at random. Pharmacist didn't have the prescription I needed and couldn't tell me which locations did. Useless.
This location is worst! Never a pharmacist, always on lunch, get alerted for scripts being ready and when I show Up They tell me it’s not or it’s out of stock. I’ve started sending my Families scripts to HEB
I’m not sure why Walgreens schedules appointments for their vaccines. Every time we’ve scheduled one here, it routinely takes 45 minutes to get a shot. Today I’ve waited an hour and a half. What a joke!
Thank you to are local Walgreens, they have posted safe distance signs on where to stand while waiting in line. Our Walgreens is always on top of it and always provides great customer service.
They are having pharmacy staffing issues. They are inconsistent with their schedule. But considering their barriers they usually always have my medications ready when I need them.
Michelle is a technician who seems to only work occasionally but she is the best! Very conscientious and friendly and always looking to help me when I'm at the pharmacy.
stopped here for some medicines and beauty products. got everything that I need. its fully loaded drug store with all departments. staff was awesome and helpful.
Brought Mt client for her flu and booster. Appointment was at 1140...it's now 1243 and we are still here. This is absolutely ridiculous.
Friendly staff, fast service, and inviting location. I have been visiting this location for years and have never had a bad experience.
Super friendly staff, from the front to the pharmacy. Ashley is awesome and always brings a warm welcome and helpful service!!
The guy at the front was super nice and tried to make conversation with me he was very nice and I really enjoyed my experience
Friendly service. Even though there was quite a few customers in line to pay the cashier's were quick and courteous.
It’s unethical to send credit card applications to me through text via my phone number as if I asked for it!
I love Shirley, she a great employee that made my day!!! Four starts for that!!
Woman at the front was so kind and made my day! I think her name was Mary :)
It says they’re open til 9pm. I got there and they closed at 6pm.
Service is really slow. Waiting 20-25min behind only 3 cars.
They never have what you need and customer service is poor.
Have not had a bad or great experience here
Clean and kind. And they have a Redbox!
Pharmacy is simply a failure. Sad.
The pharmacy staff is rude.
Friendly and clean
