Terrible and Dangerous! I have no idea how this awful pharmacy is still open. This place is actually dangerous and the only reason I came to this pharmacy was because my regular pharmacist was having trouble filling a crucial prescription so my doc suggested I try them. Despite my reluctance since I've had awful experiences here in the past, I dropped off my prescription. This turned into a 3 week ordeal. They called 1 time 3 wks ago and when I arrived shortly after receiving the call, they told me it wasn't in stock. Never received a follow-up call then noticed on my phone app late last night that the med was finally in. I went there only to be told that they "couldn't find" any prescription at all and nothing was in stock--despite the fact that it is still showing it is IN STOCK and "ready for pick up" on my phone. The pharmacist was unskilled, didn't want to give his name and is as incompetent, rude and inept as the staff. My friend who witnessed the entire episode and knows how long I've been waiting for this medication tried talking to the pharmacist who literally just continued to lie, saying he never received a prescription to fill and didn't know what I was talking about. Ironically, right before this incident there was a woman in line before practically going through the same thing. I wouldn't purchase a soda from this place let alone trust these people to fill a prescription or correctly administer an injection. Way too many other options and pharmacists around to risk your health to this butcher shop. STAY AWAY!!!!!!!!
Today I came to the store and when my turn came I asked the cashier to sell me the 1 item using a coupon for 10$ discount for the previous purchase. There was a young girl at the cash register. She asked me to move and wait until another cashier came, whom she would call and who served me a little earlier today. I agreed to her request, although I didn't understand why I should wait for her to serve other buyers who were in line after me. She did not call the guy and I continued to stand aside while more and more buyers came up with big purchases and she served them. I asked her several times what am I waiting for and why should someone else serve me ? To wich she replied that I should be patient and just wait for guy to come. So she served 6-7 buyers who were in line after me. Until I completely lost my patiennce and asked to call meneger. And she didn't call either. Then I went to look for a meneger myself. As a result, I spent more then 40 min buying one item and spent a lot of nerves on meaningless waiting and arguing. And I feel humiliated. This is the worst Wallgreens and I will not come here to buy. Sellers like this girl don't respect people and just mock customers. Terrible experience and a terrible spoiled mood.
I was very disappointed in the service after the lack of service I received on 12/15/2019. I was making a calendar online the evening before and was given 2 choices for pick up 9:25 a.m. or 1:30 p.m. I chose 9:25 a.m. and at 11 a.m. went to pick up the calendar. I was told they did not even start it yet and it would be about an hour. I was also told I would get an email. I went on about my errands and then I called at 2: p.m. because I did not get an email. I was told that it would be ready in 30 minutes, so I said I would be there at 3 p.m. Got there at 3 and found it wasn’t completed and about 45 minutes later, I received the calendar (I was only charged 3.18 and was given points to get this discount.). I looked at the calendar there and didn’t notice that when it was assembled, the holes cut for the wire binding was over cut and the calendar didn’t have binding on about 1/4 of it. What I did observe while I was there was playing around by staff and lack of customer service to other customers. Everyone was nice but incompetent. I didn’t appreciate waiting all day and the deception of when it would be done and the bad job. So disappointed since Walgreens is good everywhere else I have been and I travel all over the USA.
I am so glad I used my sense of direction today and went to Walgreens on Highland Ave as appose to Rite Aid as that was my second choice. I have been suffering of chronic sinus issues due to allergies. so I got a bunch of sinus products walked up to the pharmacist counter and asked which product would work best the staff was very thorough and noticed I was having chronic issues which vicks probably wouldn't really help and gave me suggestions on what I could do to get rid of the inflammation mind you I have been to many pharmacist that aren't very helpful and give no suggestions at all. To my surprise I listened to the pharmacists and took his recommendation for the Nasacort within a few hours I was already seeing results ... I am very thankful thank you Walgreens I will return to purchase this med in the future,
Unmasked employee at the front. When told to put on a mask they say they’re vaccinated- they’re violating Walgreens country wide policy for employees and they’re also violating a city wide mask mandate in effect the last 7 days. Delta is surging and the employee - who I have a photo of- should be ashamed of themselves. I won’t post it for his benefit of the doubt- but mask up. You work in a Walgreens pharmacy and not wearing a mask is so disrespectful of you- to your coworkers, to the customers, to everyone. As I stood there an announcement came on saying everyone had to be masked inside Walgreens. He hears that how many times a day? He knows company policy. There is no excuse. Shame on this employee.
I wish I could give no stars. This pharmacy constantly gives me issues with prescriptions. They do not answer their phones - prepare to be on hold for 30 minute to 1 hour intervals, get hung up on, get met with attitude from rude and uneducated staff. They gave me the wrong prescription and I still have not been able to reach them on the phone to make this right after calling every day for 3 days, I will now need to drive there and fix this in person. Completely unprofessional, unhelpful, and harmful when it comes to filling the wrong medications.
My comments below are in regards to the pharmacy and not the rest of the store. The pharmacy is simply a disaster. They are very disorganized and understaffed. It typically takes 20-30 minutes to drop off a prescription, and another 20-30 minutes of queuing to pick it up!!! And then you have to struggle with the young lady over the cashier who wants to sell you more services (e.g. immunization, donation etc) while 15-10 people (some of them obviously sick) waiting in the same line to either drop a prescription or pick up their medication.
Worst pharmacy I have ever had to deal with, and that's saying a lot. I wish this wasn't the preferred pharmacy for my insurance because the pharmacist I spoke with on the phone was rude, condescending and rushed through my call, interrupting me every time I tried to ask a question, then neglected to fill my Rx, which I only found out because I called back 4 days later and was told by someone else that there was no record of it. That person told me they would look into it and get back to me, and it's been 3 days already. Yea Walgreens!
The female pharmacist at this location is not very skilled to put it nicely. She doesn't do what she says she will and also says services are not available at the pharmacy that are promised on the website. Additionally, there is a technician who is always rude. I go out of my way to be nice and she's always more pleasant by the end of the transaction. The 4 stars are because the male pharmacist has gone above and beyond for me and is excellent at customer service and his job. He's a lovely and wonderful person.
Do NOT have your Passport photos developed here! They are using a $50 handheld camera that is not capable of doing the job right... they trying to remove the background w/ some tool that looks like Paint from windows 3.1, when I pointed out that the gov website clearly states that editing is not allowed the guy answered he did it a 1000 times... my face way under-exposed and had shadows all over.. I just walked away as i am 100% sure the application would have been rejected.
My son's bike was stolen here while locked in the bike rack in the front of the store. The store could care less, the manager never called us back. The assistant manager was upset, almost crying. He told me his bike was stolen in the same spot three months earlier. OH! And the cameras don't work, and the police said nothing will be done. They know they have an issue but don't do anything about it. TERRIBLE. MAINTAINING AN UNSAFE ENVIRONMENT FOR MY CHILDREN.
Pharmacy service is terrible. Especially slender dark hair male pharmacist is very rude always. He doesn’t care about people. He is always angry. There are few good people as well. So hard to connect to pharmacy on the phone. Usually wait time is 30min. I had my clinic to send another prescription to Walgreens 11795 W. Olympic Blvd. They got my prescription on the same day. This Walgreen go my prescription after my procedure was done. Worst service ever.
I will NEVER be a customer here again, even tho I have been one for many years. My husband had surgery, his physician emailed a prescription at 9am and now, at 7:29 pm it still hasn't been filled. This is a Friday. I'm calling them now and can't get access. I've called them more than 3 times today and the message is always: " Our staff is answering other calls. Please hold on and we'll be with you shortly. Please hold on." Avoid Walgreens.
The pharmacy here is woefully understaffed. After a few experiences waiting in line for very long periods of time, I have decided to have my prescriptions filled at another Walgreens location. I can't give this place one star, because the staff is very nice and helpful, but this location needs more workers, especially given the high volume of customers. I hope Walgreens opens another location nearby to pick up the slack.
After driving to Walgreens by the train station on pico I think. Then CVS figueroa. Those passport pictures, why is so hard to get them!!??? And people are so lazy!!! Then I came to my last stop. Fed up already. But Danny made it all worth it. He took the time to show me the right pic and see if I liked it. Everything came out great. He is a nice guy. Go look for him. Nice camera touch buddy Thank you again.
All I asked for was a bathroom, but the lady who helped me acted like it was the biggest inconvenience of her day. She was Black, had the knotted hairstyle. Don't remember her name. I asked where the bathroom was, she didnt even look at me and just pointed in the general direction. Then I asked for clarification and she just said, "Go that way" in the most uninterested voice. Write up? I think so.
This Walgreens pharmacy is very convenient location wise, but it is an absolute nightmare with respect to picking up medications and timeliness. Every single time I’m here to pick up medication that’s ‘ready’ it takes at least 45 minutes and more often than not is never ready. Very nice people but totally understaffed and always behind. I’ve never seen anyThing like it...
This is the worst Walgreens I have ever been to. The employees are rude and no help at all. I am in town with my mom who is recovering from brain surgery and a stroke someone sent me money and they are making it incredibly difficult to pick it up. I will never come back tp this location again. The only other one a anywhere near me has broken equipment. So now what.
you have to wait in line for 10 to 20 minutes at the pharmacy. only one person at the counter. you cant call becoz you're left on hold for 30 minutes. there are always merchandise carts in numerous isles. the parking lot is always full with coffee bean customers even tho the sign says no parking. there is always at least one beggar at the door.
Beware of the products that you buy from this Walgreen location. The store is not clean & it's old!!! and when I was inside the store there was a really big RAT the size of a large cat running across the floor. The associates was not alarm! Their reaction was laughter like if it was normal. I will not be coming back ever to this location.
Worst walgreens I’ve ever been to. I dropped of a prescription that was supposed to be filled in one hour, that turned into hours, that turned into 10 hours. Slow staff, dirty workplace (in general not just the pharmacy). If they don’t want to pick up your phone call, they pick it up and hang up on you immediately. Pathetic
My experience @ Walgreens (Beverly Glen) was pretty awful...although, to be fair, part of my disastrous visit was the fault of my own insurance company. I must say that Brianna is super sharp & helpful. However, if you learn that you have to pay cash for an RX, do NOT go to Walgreens - they are horrifically over-priced!
Im not sure when or why the bad reviews were written. My experience with the Pharmacy has been amazing. During days of COVID sometimes inventory of certain meds is erratic. They are always stocked. The pharmacists are always courteous and the pharm techs/assistants are friendly and empathetic. Highly recommend.
For the Pharmacy! I've been on hold for 45 minutes 3 times in attempt to get a medication transferd! They pick up and then simply place place the phone on hold. This is a continuous issue. I'm done with Walgreens pharmacy!!! Who ever is working the Am shift, and you need assistance good luck?
Nice store with good prices. I dropped my ID while shopping there one day. called the store to inquire about my ID. Moments later, an employee from the store called me back letting me know they found my ID. Pharmacy techs are rude, but the other employees are very helpful and professional.
The cashier was Such a rude individual. I asked to used the restroom and he gives me this attitude it’s like I was asking money from him. He refused to give me the bathroom door code I could not believe it. What a low grade store. The place is not even clean.
Rami the pharmacist was so nice he went above and beyond to help me and my friend who needed help figuring out what cough/ cold medicine to get. He came out of the pharmacy and looked through the aisle with us. So kind, thoughtful and genuine. Thank you!!
I Most say LATOSHA at the pharmacy had the best Customer Service i even had. She went out her way to make sure i get my medication, she had patient and she did not rush me. I wish there were more people like Latosha and Also Nah was amazing as well
Sleepy little place with a little bitty pharmacy. It'll do for repeat or often used prescriptions, but you'll have to come back tomorrow for stuff like post op meds that the big pharmacies usually have. AND AVOID THE BATHROOMS!
Everything that everyone has come to hate about chain pharmacies. The best part is when there's no one in front of you, or one person, and you're still there for 20-30 minutes just to pick up a prescription! It's unreal!
THE WORST PHARMACY EVER! WAIT TIMES ARE OVER 1 HOUR EVEN AFTER YOU RECEIVE THE AUTOMATED MESSAGE THAT PRESCRIPTION IS READY FOR A PICK UP! RUDE STAFF, THEY EVEN GAVE ME WRONG MEDICATION FEW TIMES. DO NOT GO HERE
There will sometimes be a homeless man soliciting money in front of the store. Despite that, the staff members are really friendly. The pharmacy line usually takes some time to get through so be patient.
Doesn’t accept Kaiser insurance, but failed to tell me that until after making me wait an hour for my prescription, calling me to tell me it’s ready only to find out it wasn’t. Sheer incompetence.
Nice people, but shocking how long everything takes , the wait and efficiency is horrible to say the least. Expect to stay 5 times longer than I imagined even if it’s an easy thing
Worst service in pharmacy Dept. Always a line and short staff. Doesn’t matter how nice they are the staying in line and waiting for long time gives them -10 star.
I asked for her at the Photo department and the man that came to answer my questions was not customer friendly. His name was Troy and not helpful at all.
They made me wait 1 hour past the time they said my photos would be ready. Then charged me for the 47 photos I purchased and only gave me 24 of them.
Very nice store, convenient location and good parking in adjacent lot. Pharmacy is great too and I prefer it to CVS.
Victor Lee is the assistant manager and his breath smells of alcohol.Full of smelly minorities. Terrible location.
There was feces all over walls I couldn't even breathe right it was horrible had to end up taking a dump next door
Each and every single time I want my photos done I will ask for Edgar he always has great customer service! …
Had a frustrating incident related to Passport Photo service. Store manager was helpful in addressing the issue.
Rude pharmacy technicians. Long waits on the phone, then they hang up on you. Very unprofessional.
The front of store employees and pharmacy staff are all professional, polite, and helpful.
Very poor service and the guy in the front who was African American is very unfriendly:(
They had my syringes for my insulin and didn't give me no problems.
Worst Pharmacy Service, refill your prescriptions some place else.
most retarded employees and customers i’ve ever encountered
High prices and smell of urine makes this an undeirable
