I would like to express my dismay at the overall lack of professionalism and courtesy for this location. I had moved all of my prescriptions over from CVS, which I will be moving back to CVS after 2 years of using them. They have nothing but issues with my prescriptions, each time they say it is either the doctor or my insurance. They tried to tell me I was denied prescriptions due to the type of insurance I have, which I have been getting the same prescriptions for going on 14 years now, and they are always covered. I have a job and work 5-7 days a week with very good insurance, and pay a good portion of the insurance and it is not a welfare program, which I was told that is the problem. This last time was the last straw at this location. They have changed personnel several times, which now someone when I ask to talk with a pharmacist I get the helper. The helper (tech) is completely rude, another new person, who wants to argue with me on my insurance, and that it isn't their problem. Tells me I need a preauthorization which is incorrect, the medication doesn't need a pre-auth code it just needs to be ran correctly. They just never seem to have the medication, and they don't bother to treat personnel with respect or dignity. I wish I didn't have to be on them, I wish I was as healthy as I was in my early 30's but I am not, and then to be told its my fault or my insurance when it is a 90 day supply I do not want a partial fill, why you might ask, is because you don't get the rest of the fill, it just goes away. I put on in my file to not have partial fills so now, they just don't have the meds or decent personnel. It looks like I go to another chain and transfer my scripts. This is the worst I have had to deal with at this Walgreens on the corner of Antioch and Vivion. I wish it weren't so, but they don't know how to treat people with respect, I cannot get to an actual pharmacist and the new tech which keeps a person from getting to talk with the pharmacist, really point blank is terrible. I hope they understand that when business leaves their store, those people aren't coming back. Besides the homeless hangouts they need to talk with their techs. Bye, Bye Walgreens.
I would give ZERO stars if I could. DO NOT GO HERE! I have, unfortunately, been a customer at Walgreens for the last couple years. Today was the last day I’ll ever have a script for myself or loved one filled there. I was shorted for the 7th time in the past two years. My loved one once received the completely wrong medication that was labeled correctly on his bottle. Each time I’ve spoke to the pharmacist they’ve given reasons such as; they’re too busy, it’s the time of year, Covid vaccines, short staffed, new hires and the list goes on. The other 6 times I was shorted and when my loved one received the wrong pill, I didn’t speak up. I didn’t mention I have been in the pharmacy world for 23 years, but today I did. I was “that person.” That customer the staff talk about when you walk out the door. I wasn’t mean or demeaning, I was disturbed that errors like this occur so often. In 23 years I’ve never seen so many mistakes happen to the same customer repeatedly. Of course, mistakes happen. But, if it’s happened this many times to me, it’s sad to think of how many others it has happened to that may not realize it. I feel sorry for other customers who’ve been told to use their one time insurance override for the pharmacy’s mistake or to pay cash for the remaining tablets they’re missing. I feel sorry for customers who might have gotten the wrong tablet. I also feel sorry for the technicians and pharmacists that are overworked. I absolutely despise Walgreens and will not use CVS, because of the experience and expectations Walgreens has given me the last couple years. I am thankful I have the option to start using an employee pharmacy that is specific to my employer. I wish there was something I could do to make the big chain pharmacy world a better place!
If I could give zero stars I would. I set an appt online for 9 am today so I could make it to work on time or get a doctor's note for strep throat. I showed up at 8:50, ten minutes before my scheduled appointment. There were two sign in kiosks with two ladies occupying them trying to schedule appointments for that day. No doctor ever came out of the room to check if I was there and I tried to check in with the pharmacist because I was afraid my spot would get skipped if I didn't sign in by the scheduled time. He said she would be out shortly and to just let her know I've been standing there and it would be fine. At 9:05 one of the ladies finally stepped away from the kiosk but then I wasn't able to sign in because it was past my scheduled appt time. I then knocked on the door to the exam room and the doctor had me come in and shut the door only to tell me that if I'm late then I would have to schedule another appt. I tried to explain I had been standing there for 15 minutes behind the kiosk lines and wasn't able to check in. She said that's the problem with retail health care and they don't give her a secretary and there's nothing she can do even though I was there 10 minutes early she had other people to see. Even though the next appointment she had was not there at the scheduled time she went out in the lobby and called her name and refused to see me. Maybe you should reevaluate the process of checking in and have a sign in sheet if the kiosks are backed up or at least call into the lobby to see if your appointments are actually there waiting to sign in. I was appalled by the customer service I received here and will never be back. Get it together Walgreens!
I am a physician. I deal with this Walgreen on both a professional and personal basis. Both ways it is a nighmare to deal with. Every time you call over to this pharmacy prepare to spend about 30 minutes on the phone. If you call in you are connected with an out of state Walgreen call center. They usually don't have a clue about the order. Then they put you on hold again and after another 15-20 minutes you speak with a pharmacy technician. I spent a total of about 1.5 hrs on the phone, 30 minutes at the pharmacy trying to get a 90 day supply of my medications as authorized by my physicians. i was assured it would happen. When I went to refill they told me no authorization for refill for 90 days on file. This happens again, and again, and again. My wife uses CVS and is very satisfied. I just got back from CVS and am having all my prescriptions changed over. My staff hates to call ANY Walgreen's because they are left on hold for 15-30 minutes even using the "doctors' line. The 'auto-refill' calls and asks if I want a RX refilled. I indicate yes. The message is 'ready tomorrow after 9". I call and not ready, after many calls I learn out of stock on the medicine. If they are out of stock why do the auto-refill. The pharmacists at Walgreen tell me they are overwhelmed and management unresponsive. Too bad I have to give them one star they don't deserve even that.
Horrible lazy slow staff. Managment does not exist. Past 5 times I have waited in line more than 1 hour and no one cares. I understand they are busy but maybe if the Managment cared things will run in order. My parents are disabled I drive from leavenworth 35 miles one way to pick up their meds and past 5 times it wasn't ready 3 times I couldn't wait more than I had waited 1 hour in line just to get to the counter and be told order wasn't ready then driving back and forth 45 minutes I have spend more than 120 dollars in gas. there used to be 1 pharmacist named Juli working night shift when it was 24 hours she was great. When I asked about her I was told they didn't know whom she is lol what a joke Juli has been at that location for more than 7 years. Also my mothers information was being used by another customer when I asked for investigation after talking too manager and pharmacist it never happened and I was assured it will be investigated and that I will be contacted never happened. Walgreens corporate office needs to respond to this hopefully leave me a contact person. I will be checking this back for response if anyone even cares and looks at reviews from customers.
The woman at front desk for check out was rude. I get home with my items and my $25 gift card is no where to be found. I carefully look through sacks. I call store right away. I explain that I have been charged for a $25 gift card but can’t find it ! Anywhere else I have bought gift cards they always give it to me so it’s not lost. This clerk said she put it in a sack. The manager says I may have left a sack in cart. I tell her I brought the cart back inside the store and into the cart holder. I’m sure I would have noticed an extra sack. Manager says she can’t do anything about it & I could call headquarters tomorrow. I ask what that phone number is and she says she does not know. I will have to look it up on line . What happened to customer service ?? I will call headquarters tomorrow but not holding my breathe. And people wonder why we use Amazon so often? Amazon has always treated me fairly whenever a problem happens, which is not very often. I am sick to my stomach over this problem & if headquarters does nothing I will find another store to go to and NO MORE RUDE and OVERPRICED WALGREENS !!!!!!!
This pharmacy is not 24 anymore. This pharmacy's quality has plummeted since it stopped being 24h. They can no longer keep up with the load of clients they need to serve-- so you always wait, and sometimes you get there only to find your medication that you called in three days ago still isn't filled. Every time I go there, there's a line of four-five people inside, and several cars waiting. My loved one had to go two days without their medication because of this pharmacies gross failures. I recently saw one pharmacy tech playfully throw a bag of medications at another. The employees are always stressed and overworked because there aren't enough people. There was a recent Sunday where the pharmacy closed early because the pharmacist went home sick, and no one wanted to come in to cover the shift. They should pay the pharmacy employees more to compensate for the heavy workload, but they won't. So you shouldn't go to this pharmacy. Instead you should go to any other pharmacy *except* this one.
I have came to (this) Walgreens for almost 6 years. I will never come back here again. Doctor sent over prescription at 11:30 am. I was told by Walgreens it would be a CPL hours. In my mind that's 2. My son is sick. He has a double ear infection and a respiratory infection and a touch of phnemonia... I went to get his prescription based off the cpl hours I was told and it's not ready and it will take a couple MORE hours. I'm fuming at this point. My son has been sick for what feels like ever and finally I was able to get him in at the doctor's and then Walgreens is gonna tell me it's gonna be 5 hours for an antibiotic that my son needs to avoid being hospitalized. Every frickin minute counts when it comes to an infection. I've used Walgreens religiously for 12 years. Since I had my first child. And when it counted most Wal-Mart next door jumped on it like my son was a priority. I will never come back to this Walgreens again. P.s. how does Walmart outdo Walgreens on customer service?
I always have a horrific experience here. For example today: I dropped off my prescriptions for pneumonia at 3 pm & I was told it may be a 30 minute wait & that I would get a text when it was ready. I called at 6 pm to see how much longer it would be, only to be told that my prescriptions had been filled hours ago & that they were sitting in a bin waiting to be registered. I got to Walgreens around 7. The pharmacist asked if I had insurance, I said no, & she told me someone else would figure it out. I patiently waited another hour before asking again how long it would be. She told me "oh here they are. Man these have been here a while". I WAS SITTING FIVE FEET IN FRONT OF YOUR FACE FOR AN HOUR COUGHING UP A LUNG ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!?! I have pneumonia. The last thing I want to do is sit in an uncomfortable chair for an hour because you don't know what you are doing. I will be filling my prescriptions elsewhere from now on. The incompetence is out of this world.
DO NOT SUPPORT THIS LOCATION!!!. Take your prescriptions to another company or location. The employees are treated DISGUSTINGLY. I’ve seen the way their bosses talk down to them, give them double standards and ultimatums, target them and retaliate against them. I’ve come through the drive through while workers were in tears because of the way they are treated at this store and I personally will not support such an environment and have since changed pharmacies that value and support their employees. The general manager and pharmacists should be ashamed of themselves and honestly some of the treatment should be illegal but unfortunately is not. DO NOT COME TO THIS LOCATION!!!!!!!!! Honestly don’t even support Walgreens if this is their level of ethics. SHAMEFUL and DISGUSTING. It’s 2023 and this is not acceptable. If you believe people should have safe, ethical, fair places of work then do not support this Walgreens, because it would go against basic morale.
Where to start...? I have been coming to this Walgreens for as long as I can remember. Staff used to be fantastic and actually remember your name and sometimes even your prescription. Plus, they were open 24 hours a day. They were certainly not the fastest Pharmacy, but I liked the people and the service was good. Then, I started noticing less and less Pharmacy staff available and longer wait times in the Drive-Thru. And they told me they were going to start closing at midnight because Walgreens refused to pay for more employees. From there, the service just kept getting worse and it seemed like there was a new pharmacy technician every single time you went. The cherry on top was when I went to get my prescription last night and they were closed at 10 p.m. I will be transferring all my prescriptions to the Liberty location and maybe transferring over to CVS since they never seem to have a wait time...we'll see.
I just called to have a refill filled & the guy who answered the phone in the pharmacy was by far the rudest pharmacist I have ever dealt with. I switched my prescriptions to this Walgreens because it's closer to my house,, so now I can't switch it back and my refill goes out 6 months so now for the next six months I have to deal with this pharmacy.. I can't have it switched again which completely pisses me off because this place sucks,, they are so rude. I don't know why the pharmacy department has to be so rude,, its as if the pharmacists get off on treating the customers like they are not worth their time.. but as soon as I get a new script and can take it somewhere else I will. I cant believe they talk to their customers the way they do. No customer service skills at all. If you have a choice, do not go here.
My prescription was to be ready at 11:00AM. I arrived at 11:45AM. Was told pharmacist needed to check it first (?) but was giving a vaccine. I asked if I should wait or pull up. I was told to drive back through. I did with only 2 cars in front of me. I waited and waited and waited. The woman in front of me was there for 15 minutes (at least 7 cars behind me). Since the woman in front of me had an obvious problem with her prescription, I went to the window to see why that customer wasn't told to drive back through the line as I was told to do. I was told that customer needed a Covid test and that takes priority over everyone. The customer screamed she was going to call the police. She finally ended up with nothing. What took 15 minutes to tell her to drive to the front of the store? There was no apology to me.
The pharmacy at this location is horrible. I rely on migraine medication to survive basically. Called not once but twice to ensure they had my script from my dr and that they carry the medication, ensured they had the meds and my script okay great. Went on a Friday before a holiday weekend (big mistake I realized) wait around an hour finally get helped, wait another 45 minutes for them to input the info into the computer, they tell me its gonna be an hour to fill, come back 1.5 hours later sit in the drive thru another 40 minutes just to get to the window an be told it's out of stock. Fast forward till Tuesday when they tell me it will be ready I just call up there to ensure they have it in and get told they had it all along. 4 days without medication I desperately needed.
Extrememly!!Extremely!!! Rude and hateful to me and my son. My bp is 198/110 and I sent son to get my meds. I have been getting them at this location for 2 years. They rudely tell my son I don't exist so I call them.He finds me but says I can't get them until tomor . I try to explain how bad I am feeling and can I have a couple of pills, and he says for my son to go in and talk to pharmacist . I tell him my sons only 17 and is anxious about going in so he puts me on hold for 10 mins. Another guy gets on the phone all hateful and tells me " give me 30" extremely rude tone. My son does go in and they treat him like dirt . He is still in there waiting 50 mins later..he texted me mom why are they being so rude. This place needs to be stopped
I called Walgreens to see if they had Iodine in stock; they refused to look and or assist me in any way..... then they transferred my call to someone else, and left me on hold until they answered and hung up. Drove 20 minutes to find that they did in fact have it... Gratefully, I browsed around and found a couple of wonderful items on sale….only to find out that their marketing & pricing on everything was completely inaccurate—shit show to be quite honest. Maria was the manager's name I snagged as I was leaving and to you; your 1-star rating across the board clearly corresponds with your facility & corporate most definitely needs to look into this establishment. Please work on your customer service as a reputable store and do better....
If you have an Escript like most do now, you have to call in to remind them to fill it. If it's a new escript it'll likely not be found. Over 7 phone calls back and forth between walgreens and doctor's office(which they take hours to call back) to find out it's been sent only for Walgreens to say they can't find it. Well finally someone found it (which was glorious after a week of trying) only to be told that I need to wait 5 days. Which is 8 days after it was supposed to.be filled ( WITH THE TO BE FILLED DATE WRITTEN ON THE SCRIPT BY THE DOCTOR ) which of course I will not be anywhere near here then and you can't transfer an Escript. They will NOT listen to reason OR follow doctor's orders all the while being EXTREMELY rude
This location was absolutely terrible. I was going to get prescriptions filled there until a friend told me how many times they have underfilled her prescriptions and or given her wrong prescriptions.... Well I learned for myself yesterday that this place truly is terrible. I had to get a covid test for work since I had been sick. This location was the closest to work and they have a sign in the drive thru for covid tests. I pulled up and asked about and was told that I needed to make an appointment beforehand. I told her that I tried online and had issues and asked if she could help me schedule one. She rudely laughed and said that I couldn't get the test there. Absolutely terrible!
Filled my prescription and noticed they gave me the WRONG dosage. It was printed correctly on the label but the pills were wrong. Then, I brought it in to get it fixed and the woman tried to tell me I was crazy and wouldn't help initially. She finally brought it to the pharmacist who immediately confirmed I was correct and filled a new prescription for me...but...then he proceeded to give my prescription with my personal information on it to a different customer.o has to get his attention and tell him that it was mine, not hers. Plus, after all of this, they put in the computer that they gave me a new prescription fill so I no longer have any refills left. I won't go here again.
DO NOT GO HERE. AT ALL COSTS. I'm not one to write bad reviews or speak to managers but I've never had a pharmacy waste my time as much as I have here. The staff is incompetent and will tell you your prescription is filled when they don't actually have it in stock. Multiple times. If you read through the reviews, I'm not the only one this happens to. I spoke to the pharmacy and store manager and they weren't able to provide me with anything to make up for it. Useless place. The healthcare system is terrible as it is and this place makes you want to off yourself if you don't die from not having your medication in the first place.
This is the slowest Pharmacy North of the river .When you call, figure on about 10 minutes before they take your call, (because they are ALWAYS SO BUSY!)If they are SO BUSY they can't answer the phone then perhaps the are understaffed. They call you say your prescription is ready but then you get up there, and it's always going to be another 10 minutes or longer. It's so frustrating when everytime you have to wait. Why say it's ready when it's not! This walgreens is a VERY poor Pharmacy. If the insurance wasn't changed to them from CVS we would still be at CVS the customer service is excellent and unlike that at Walgreens
The worst Walgreens in the area. On top of prices being absolutely ridiculous in general for this and the CVS chains. I drove here specifically to get a product the app claimed they had in store and for pick up. I almost PAID for the item on the app, but decided to just come in and purchase instead. After looking everywhere for 20 minutes, I asked for help in finding the item, the associate was incredibly rude and informed me that they don’t even have it, the app was wrong, and offered zero solution. I would have wound up paying twice for a product if I hadn’t chose to come in.
Went for a covid test, they never sent my sample to the lab, I never got the results. Checked online using the requisition number, it shows sample was not collected. Numbers written on the paper were unclear (poor handwriting), I called AEGIS/PWN Health, and they gave me a completely different requisition number. This whole process is unnecesariy misleading, unclear and a waste of time. I went to your competitor pharmacy to get a covid test, results out within 24 hours (PCR test). Complete dissapointment, Do not recommend.
I called this store after my doctor said to have them send in a request for refill and they told me they were doing that and then when we call to see if it’s ready she informs my husband that he seems more than capable of contacting his doctor himself. What I am capable of doing is switching pharmacies and no longer supporting Walgreens business. All we did there was prescriptions and now we will transfer them to CVS. Take a class on customer service before you’re allowed to ever answer the phone or deal with the public
I have never had an issue with them until recently. Until May, I would have still given them 5 stars. They have been incredibly helpful in the past, but the new staff they have hired this year border on incompetent. I know more about my medications than the pharmacy staff. I have to tell them HOW to read my prescriptions and HOW to run my insurance. I can no longer trust them with my health. I have always enjoyed using Walgreens and I am very sad that I will no longer be able to fill my monthly prescription there.
Absolutely horrible service. Sat in the car for over an hour after the tech said that my prescription will be done in 45 minutes I go around to the drive-through and she said it would be another two hours, no one has even looked at my prescription. I wish they would’ve at least told me that so I could have gone home instead of sitting in the car bleeding from my mouth after having two wisdom teeth pulled waiting for my pain medication. Do better! I pulled my prescription and went elsewhere
If I could give them zero stars I would. I was on hold for 45min then they tell me that it is a problem with my insurance. So I called my insurance company, they told me all is fine. My insurance company tried to resolve this issue for 2hr and 20min. During which time they hung up on us another 2 times. You would think that after all this effort I would have an answer to why but nope. I will never give these people a single cent and I implore everyone else to take their business any where.
We've been using this pharmacy for years with no problems but over the past year, it's turned into the worst pharmacy in the Northland. Don't send your prescriptions here. I've gone countless times to pick up prescriptions that are still not filled (after being promised they were). The wait time is on least an hour in the drive through and more inside. Last night was the last time my husband said he'd wait in their drive-through. 60 mins to pick up an antibiotic for an ear infection.
I’m literally stuck in the pharmacy drive-thru line, sandwiched between multiple cars and cannot escape. I have been in line for over 40 minutes and only 3 customers have been served. I have used a bunch of pharmacies in my life, but this one has by far, the least efficient drive-thru experience that I’ve ever dealt with. The staff is always helpful and friendly, but unfortunately, the long wait outweighs that (BTW, this is a consistent issue, I’ve waited 2 years before posting).
I was hospitalized, got out at 4, had my scripts sent here after using them for years, called at 545pm. They said my script would be ready in 30 minutes. Show up the pharmacy is closed at 6. No one told us. I show up the next day after finally getting a ride to pick them up and got told I can't get my medication that I need because they are going on break. So I'll need to find ANOTHER ride back up here to get them. Absolutely unbelievable. Will never use this pharmacy again
Rayna gets 5 stars. Helped fill my medication with savings card that nobody else could figure out. The other people here are so horrible though. Its almost like they hate their jobs, but that shouldnt affect us walgreens customers and getting our prescriptions on time and filled correctly. I cannot tell you the amount of times i have had to wait for someone like the nice lady whom as i said deserves 5 stars genuinely. To make my prescription at no cost as it should be.
Had my first Covid vax shot and Andrew was so kind and helpful, really eased my worries and made it as painless as possible. Very much appreciated. Also, observed the pharmacy techs working hard and even when extremely busy and backed up, they treated every customer with so much respect and took the time to listen. That's awesome, keep that up. Lastly, the girl at the front register was super friendly aha checked me or quickly. Definitely will be back here.
We came today to get my wife a chick pox shot and we met Doctor Lopez, Sandy. She just got done with a patient. I popped my head in and asked her if she can give out chicken pox shot. Normally you have to get that prescribed and can take a little while. Dr. Lopez welcomed me in and didn’t seem bothered. She was very professional, personable, and thoughtful. She got us in and out in 10 minutes. Walgreens is very bless to have her and so are we. Thank you Dr. Lopez!
Pharmacy Dept is very rude. Please don't waste your time calling because they will hang up on you. They speak to you like your deaf meaning yelling and screaming your business in front of others as if they are not familiar with the HIPPA LAW. I say the ladies that work the front line make u feel welcome as they assist the best way they can. Ringing up your items and smiling and even conversating with you. Makes you feel just a tab better by coming to that store.
Tuesday my daughter called Pharmacy and the person who answered the phone(it was not a person at the Vivion location) was not able to help her. I asked to speak to a pharmacist. Kelyn answered the phone. He was able to tranfer a script from another Walgreens and filled her script two hours earlier than expected. I was also able to update her second insurance and the pharmacy tech helped me with that. Thank you Kelyn and the tech for your outstanding service.
So I had EXCELLENT service from the pharmacist DALE. And as a side note the pharmacy technician Emina was fantastic and awesome at her job. Dale tirelessly dealt with my husband and me regarding an insulin situation. He never got tired of explaining. He took an order over the phone from the doctor for needles without batting an eyelash. He was never impatient! I am so thankful for him. Only in a perfect world do people like him exist. Thank you......
Dear Walgreens, PLEASE HIRE MORE PHARMACY WORKERS. I have waited up to 30 minutes while being the 2nd car in line. That is unacceptable. Patient should be able to pick up their much-needed medications without taking significant time away from their work, life, and family. There are many times I see the line and drive all the way back home because I know I'd be there over an hour trying to wait if it takes that long with only one car ahead of me.
Waited in line at the store which felt forever. Young male cashier, Manny, seemed to think that he would finish customers photo order who JUST finished putting it in was more important than ringing up the ONE CUSTOMER (me) who was waiting for the entire time. Customer proceeded to walk around me up to register, wait and talk with him, got rang up and on their merry way as I stand there with products in my hand. Very disappointing.
Came in to get a money, have come here 3 other times before, to this exact location but today the old lady at the counter refused and kept telling me that they don’t do money orders, I asked when did they stopped and she said they’ve never done it, I told her I’ve literally have come before before and she said I must be dumb or confused because she’s worked here all her life and they never do money order… very rude and not helpful
I would give it a zero but you have to press something in order to type a review. I went through the driveway to get myself & son tested for Covid and was told that I would receive a call in about 2 hours. Call never came. I had to fill out paperwork and give my ID to identify myself & son. It took me speaking to several people for them to find my results because someone forgot to put my information into the system. Incredible!
I've been trying to get my meds for 2 days now at this Walgreens and all I've gotten is rude and lazy workers. I was on the phone with this chick from this Walgreens and she had a huge attitude and was just very rude and unprofessional. I'm not sure if it was a bad day or what but this is unacceptable in any workplace I am very sad to whoever has to deal with that daliy I will not be going back to that Walgreens on vivion rd.
Been using this place for a couple of years because of the hours and location. They've have shorted scripts, act as if they have medications then call later and tell you they dont have it. They make you wait in line at the store before they will even check to see if they have it. The voice recognition on the automated system is as bad as the service. I wish CVS still had 24 hour or even extended hour pharmacies.
If you want fast* service, do not come here. I was questioning whether or not the people who work at the pharmacy knew what they were doing. And the dr on site at the minute clinic was super rude about insurance. Someone with strep throat doesn’t want to be scolded about having insurance (which by the way, I did have it on file with them already because I have been to a Walgreens clinic this year already).
Prescriptions are never ready on time, always long wait times, given wrong pick up times even after calling to get verification of pick up time. Staff’s attitude seem not to care and very little invested in customer service and meeting customer satisfaction. I will not be using this pharmacy again! They really need to evaluate their customer relations and improve customer satisfaction!
I'm visiting from out of state & needed my scripts filled so I easily transferred them to this store with the app. I'm in between insurance coverage so the 3 meds were going to be over $400 for 30-day supply out of my pocket! Elizabeth in the pharmacy helped me find discount cards. In the end all 3 cost $38. Thank you Elizabeth! You were so pleasant amidst chaos with a new system.
I was told at 1 PM today that my 3 prescriptions would be ready in 2 hours. It has now been almost 4 hours. I call and I'm told it's going to be an additional hour before they are ready. No explanation was given for the delay and no apology for the delay. The people that work here are not customer service oriented one bit! I will be looking for a new pharmacy after this!!!!
I was without a car during the day went there midnight w/ wife's car, I figured open 24 hours meant something, but not to the pharmacist Julie who refused to refill my prescription until 8am the next day when I again would be without a car, I thought my Dr. determined the date for refill not the pharmacist. If your looking for reliability stay away from this pharmacy.
I have been coming to this Walgreens for about a year now and every single person in this pharmacy is incredibly kind and helpful every time! Alicia specifically was insanely nice and provided me and my mom so much assistance when picking up her prescription. Alicia deserves lots of recognition for her wonderful personality and representing Walgreens with grace!
Geez. I should have read the reviews first. 1) they won't let customers use the bathroom. The first employee told me that the restrooms are out of order. The second one told me that they're permanently closed due to "homeless people vandalizing." 2) they lost my photo order. 3) when I did get my photos they were awful. No wonder this place has so many one stars.
ALWAYS too long of a wait at the Pharmacy!! Need more or more efficient people. And it just seems to be getting worse and worse!! Rude people on the phone too!! Had to speak to a manager and that was no help either! I hate this Walgreens! And it gets worse!! They can’t even get a pharmacist to stay!! Still horrible service here! Not getting any better. No help!
Update, this place went down hill fast. I switched to CVS for my meds now. Great place!!!! Went in to get my meds and they have a new Pharmacy Manager Kel. She was very very helpful!!!! You can tell she is trying to change this place for the better!! Explained my meds to me and advised me about some over the counter pain meds to help with my lower back pain.
Horrible experience, every time I come to Walgreens the lines are really long and they never have my prescriptions ready. Today was the last straw I dropped my daughters prescription off at 12 they said it would be ready at 3 came at 3:30 was not ready was told it would be ready in 30 minutes, I came back a hour later and was still not ready. Poor service!
During check out I had realized I forgot my wallet at home. I apologized and said I would be back. But then the cashier rolled their eyes at me. So I decided that I wouldn't come back and be a BOTHERSOME to the staff who clearly wanted to be anywhere else but checking me out. Hire friendly people, and maybe your Google ratings wouldn't be so awful.
Very friendly. Spoke to me when I entered the door. Pharmacist was busy when I arrived at 3 AM. She said she would be right with me. She was with me quickly. I had two scripts. One she said was available over the counter for less cost. I was in and out in under 30 minutes. I was very pleased and will use this pharmacy again.
This was perhaps the least productive pharmacy in the Kansas City North Area period. last couple times I have been have been let's just say a lot better than before. My prescriptions are ready when they are promised, in the pharmacy does a really good job of setting realistic time expectations for waits.
Pharmacy drive thru slow 15 min wait at least and they don't go in order of arrival. Inside wait is just as bad. Makes picking up meds frustrateing!!! Its been like this for years. Complaining does no good.choose a different place if you can. When the n oak location closed vivion location got worse.
The pharmacy techs are always pretty nice and cheerful, however, the pharmacist on duty always seem to have an attitude or like they can’t be bothered when it comes to asking questions about prescriptions. I also keep running into the issue of my prescription being out of stock for several days.
Do not fill your prescriptions here. They told me 3 different dates by 3 different people THEN said they were actually completely out of what I needed and said it would be another week at least -_- they promised it would be ready and it wasn’t. This is the last time I’ll be using their pharmacy.
Very rude, was lied to twice, extremely bad service. It took 3 hours to get a prescription transferred and filled. Have never had a prescription filled in less than 45 minutes at this location. Have had good experiences at other locations and never as lengthy . …
In line with many other reviews, but now compelled to write now that I can't even enter through the side door during the day. Let alone when the clinic is open 8-5. Thought maybe it was closed, but sure enough people were in there. I guess this store is theft heavy.
Worst in town. Totally inept. Didn't tell me that the med I needed wasn't in stock, then said it was, then said it won't be ready for a few days. I had surgery today and kind of need the pain med. I asked if they could get it from another walgreens, they refused.
I have been coming to this location for almost 6 years because it is up the street from where I live. Over the last 6 years the pharmacy has consistently provided bad service. The new Walgreens Expess is a joke. I will be transferring my prescriptions!
There are 7 people in line at the Pharmacy and I just watch the manager pull the other 2 drawers. She had no consideration for her customers. The cashier asked for help, but the manager told her no. Nice customer service manager of this Walgreens.
Do not use this pharmacy. They do not fill most prescriptions anymore, they have to done off site and sent to them. So any prescription for same day fillings will not be filing to the following business days, and if it's Friday that means Monday.
Came here after my dr appt to fill a prescription for antibiotics and a inhaler. Gave the pharm tech my hard copy prescriptions and insurance. Waited 30 minutes until after they filled my prescription to be told they don't take my
This Walgreens Pharmacy on Anitoch and Vivon is so terrible. They never have your prescriptions ready on time they always have plenty excuses. I will never use this walgreens pharmacy again. I do not recommend them at all.
Don’t take any passport size pictures at this location stuff member was really rude, pictures were not clear, she didn’t even show me the picture after she took it, and I been told to come back after one hour.
Waited in the car line for over 40 minutes for a covid test. The test was 20 minutes late. The attendant also argued with me about my being upset about the time overage. I do NOT recommend you scheduling testing here.
Maybe I'm just lucky but the entire staff including pharmacists have been very helpful to me. I certainly recognize they can be very busy at times but always polite and willing to help as expeditiously as possible
Staffing issues...ok However your sign says lobby closing at 5pm, and Im standing here looking at closed overhead doors at 430. The drive thru line is around the building, so no prescription pickup today.
I waited 35 mins in line for them to tell me a prescription that was called in 2 1/2 hr prior was not ready, and they couldn't guarantee it would be ready by 5pm. That is 7 1/2 hr after it is called in.
The reviews are true. If you use this location you will encounter the following: Rude Staff Long Wait Times Inconsistent Information Between Staff Prescriptions Not Filled For Days AVOID. AVOID. AVOID.
Pharmacy hours say 8am-10pm, should say closed between 12-2pm for pharmacists lunch. Waited in the drive through line for 40 minutes, only cars that moved were the ones that gave up on waiting.
Only once did I encounter a ride person in the Pharmacy. I did complain and thankfully have never encountered that person again. I go there 2-3 times a month and always have a great experience.
It's two am, and my wife needs a dose of Robotussin from Walgreens. The young lady at the front register calls me by my name - nice touch at two am - and asks, "How is Shelley?"
I made my covid-19 vaccine appointment online and they told me they are out of the vaccine. Why do they offer the service if they don't have the vaccines? That's terrible.
I have come here multiple times for my medicine refills and have waited in line at the drive thru for almost an hour. Ridiculous and not customer friendly.....
Worst pharmacy I've ever dealt with... I'm on an inhaler for life and they can never seem to get it filled til 3 days after it's due.
Elsie at the register helped me with my deposit especially at a busy time, very professional thanks
Easily one of the worst Walgreens, try CVS down the street
