"Update 2: the pharmacy staff does do their best though No matter how many times I tell the pharmacy and the website and the prescriber to fill at this location, they always send it to the one on Polk and California"
"I would put zero Stars if I could! Absolutely horrible! At first they was going to honor THEIR $5 in store coupon, but after half an hour of waiting on a manager they showed up and told us why we dont get to use the coupon, the cashier was even on our side and also the security guard was screaming at my husband behind his back claiming my husband was cussing and said he was going to BOOT him out! Point Blank they don't honor their own coupons and their security guard yells at whoever he wants and has free reign obviously because none of the women behind the counter said anything and we left the store without spending a dime"
"Staff always friendly and neighborly"
"It’s almost as if the pharmacy’s sole goal is to NOT help you"
"Worst pharmacy ever"
Update 2: the pharmacy staff does do their best though No matter how many times I tell the pharmacy and the website and the prescriber to fill at this location, they always send it to the one on Polk and California. Even when I verify with Walgreens that the script is being filled at Polk and Broadway, it somehow winds up at Polk and California. This is now the 4th time I’ve used my lunch break to go here only to get the runaround. Once again going without my medication due to some system error or general incompetence. I would advise you use literally any other pharmacy. Update: it has happened another three times since I left this review. I have never had this issue with a Walgreens outside of Northern California. If I could leave negative stars for this location’s complete and utter worthlessness, I would.
I would put zero Stars if I could! Point Blank they don't honor their own coupons and their security guard yells at whoever he wants and has free reign obviously because none of the women behind the counter said anything and we left the store without spending a dime. They dont deserve my money!
Staff always friendly and neighborly. It is always nice to see familiar faces, whether staff or neighbors and area friends, and because it is situated at the border of Nob Hill, Pac Heights, Cow Hollow, and Russian Hill, there are fewer crowds of commuters and tourists than in other parts of town ensuring smooth operations when it comes to the line. The staff here won't pretend they don't see you day in day out and you will feel, as you should, that they know you as a regular customer. Friendly input begets friendly output.
It’s almost as if the pharmacy’s sole goal is to NOT help you. My favorite part of the experience was the pharmacist telling me they just fill it. Remember when a pharmacist and pharmacy would actually help you? Maybe you needed to talk about an allergy medication or nasal spray. You are but a bottle of pills that they don’t want to fill, at this pharmacy
Worst pharmacy ever. Refused to make a simple 2 minute phone call to another Walgreens that actually carried the meds I needed, even though the other location insisted they needed to in order to fill my prescription. Yelled at me for even suggesting it when I was clearly in miserable and in pain. Do not get your prescription sent here!
Their pharmacy is a joke, above all. They haphazardly follow instructions - my most recent visit they only filled half of my active prescriptions, and I had to come back and remind them of my open Rxs. Totally clueless, most of them don’t speak English. Go to the CVS on Van Ness, more competent pharmacy staff by a long shot...
The security guard couldn’t get his eyes off. I told him I’m having a bad day and to please leave me alone. His response “Get better, and leave.” I pay my bills, I pay my taxes, I’m a college student, I have an employer. I know that rent a cop was 100% on a miserable power trip. Hire LGBTQ+ FRIENDLY COPS. Or NONE.
The most inefficient Pharmacy is the city. After waiting in a long line, Orders are never actually ready when they say they would. Always need to come back later, wait in the line again, and likely - it still won’t be ready! Who ever runs this place needs to bw fired! This is a forever persisting problem!
The pharmacy is pretty much always a 30 min wait even if your script is ready. Today no one seemed to actually be filling scripts, but rather spending extended time with people getting vaccinated. All in support of vaccination but they need to balance serving both needs.
Pharmacist named Tammy is unhinged. I called along with a representative from my insurance to ask if a prescription was in stock and she yelled at both of us and hung up on us. “I aM a VeRy bUsY pHarMaCisT!” She sounded like a deranged person screaming on the street.
I always have to call several times to get to their pharmacist or anyone working at the pharmacy. They put me on hold and then they end the line and then I have to re-call them. They don’t listen to their voicemails for Rx sometimes. I hope they will do better.
Really friendly staff, has everything you could need and is well laid out for quick shops. Staff are knowledgeable and able to assist when asked questions. In a good local with lots of parking outside. Service at the counter could have been faster though.
poorly managed. Staff tries their best but most barely speak English so customer service is not great. tried getting photos printed on two occasions, both process and notified me they were printing but when i arrived they were "out of paper" both times
Everyone was pretty nice I got the security guard and I first walk in I had a pretty good service I was taking back by the doors which was pretty cool got some from out of town so yeah it was pretty nice
This is my place to pick up prescriptions. The best thing is the free parking. I like to check out sales items while waiting. I like this store better than the on the other side of Polk st.
I have called to try to get my prescriptions ready before I show up and have to wait 30 min every time and never have they answered the phone. Not once and I’ve been on for over an hour
The asian employee was very rude to me I asked them to help me find some refresh eye drops they told me open your eyes and look for it that's hella rude poor customer service on 8/2/23
Terribly long pharmacy line. Plan to wait at least 20 minutes. And half the time they don’t have your medication ready. They mismanage shifts and personnel and it’s a terrible problem.
Incredibly disorganized horribly managed store. I will walk 10 blocks if needed to avoid this one. Do not use this as a pharmacy always long lines and no one is helpful.
The pharmacy is somehow very inefficiently run. Never have I experienced a line less than the length of the entire aisle / less than 30 minutes for prescription pickup.
Pharmacy has poor customer service. FedEx services here are unrelaible. This is the closest pharmacy to my house, but it's not worth the hassle.
The pharmacy picked up and immediately put me back on hold for over 20 minutes when I was trying to transfer a prescription
A lady name Smita was very helpful to us. I wish to have her contact number so that I can say thanks to her personally.
Y'all should answer your pharmacy phone when suspected fraud is being committed in one of your customer's names.
They told me my refill would be ready in 30 minutes. Got there in 40 minutes. Waited for additional 30 minutes.
Pharmacy is always backed up… Prescriptions are rarely ready… Unfortunately there are no other good options…
Horrible customer service, rude people a and security guards, close earlier than posted hours.
No drop off at pharmacy so you have to wait in a line that is always long just to drop off.
If you have a choice, nearby Walgreens have more attentive or alert staff. Some zombies
Pharmacy department hold time is horrible waited more than 10 minutes 3 times.
Nightmare just like all the other Walgreens. Use Alto Pharmacy instead.
You routinely have to wait 35 minutes or more to pick up a prescription
Good neighbour to live next door to. Too bad it wasn't 24 hrs though.
Worst ever.. really unfriendly and shocking staffs NOT recommend here
Great place with lots of friendly people. Thanks much, Valerio!
It's local & convenient & prices are reasonable
