Worst pharmacy, go to any other pharmacy if possible. I went through the drive they for Covid testing and i had TWO appointments 12, and 12:30 the rude pharmacist or tech said i could only do one if i didn’t have insurance so i said fine let me do whichever I’m allowed and it’s 12:09 she said i have to get back in the long line (after i waited 18 minutes in line to be on time for my original appointment ) and now I’m sitting again in the long line that will take 30 minutes making me late to my “next appointment when regardless i had an appointment at 12 reserved and the testing takes the same amount of time. While in line i called for a supervisor over the phone Lead Ana was no help at all she said there was nothing she can do, i asked for the GM she didn’t know his name or info. What supervisor doesn’t know their own boss or GM ? After waiting additional time in line now been sitting at the window with either An or Jessica the tech/pharmacist staring at me with a nasty face doing nothing and won’t talk waiting an additional 8 minutes before she even would let me ask about my appointment, she was just standing at the window making me wait more time because i called to complain about her service. Finally a guy tech comes to assist me 17 minutes after waiting while the lady just stood there at the window making me wait on purpose for her own satisfaction. I showed them my email confirmations and there is now a line of 6 other cars waiting because she is retaliating for me calling to complain.
Family member had scheduled rapid test and got turned away without explanation once he arrived to his appointment. He waited to see why he wasn’t going to get tested. They mentioned since he checked off shortness of breath as one of the symptoms. Even though he drove himself there and was breathing fine. He also let them know he suffers from allergies. Walgreens did not take into consideration him also expressing that he had been in contact with someone with COVID and wanted to prevent spreading it. He called other walgreen locations to confirm if this was the correct procedure and they confirmed they should have honored his appointment and gotten him tested. I spoke to the manager on 12/30/21 at 11:00am at the 3401 San Pedro Ave. location and he did not give him his appointment back even though it had only been an hour since he had gotten turned away. The manager said he would have to make an appointment again and wait until it’s available just like everyone else is. Very bad customer service all around.
Walgreens has been filling my familys precsriptions since 2015...we have been through 3 different pharmicists...each one having a great , caring, professional, attitude...the latest is Roshini ...always knows the latest and where everything is...then theres Jessica...who has been there before me even...they are all WONDERFUL...see me in line...have my meds ready and waiting...how anyone can dare downgrade this pharmacy doesn't have any respect for those behind the counter!!!Never have seen ANY customer disrespected...yelled at...ignored...or been treated rudely...I thank God for all of those employed at this store...they are there ready to help me...but my friends as well!!
I'll start by saying there is one female and one male pharmacy tech that are actually always pleasant. However, this pharmacy is the worst in all of the San Antonio area in terms of the personalities of the pharmacists and the length of time it takes to get service. Though I have made this my pharmacy due to its convenience to my home, I consider changing to HEB or CVS on every other visit. Also, they have the worst hours of operation. Even so, I showed up one day at 0900 and nobody had shown up to the pharmacy and the store manager said it would be another two hours before they could get a replacement/substitute pharmacist in. It is very poorly managed.
I went to exchange an item since I did not have the receipt, but they no longer carry that product. The total was $43 and change but the manager Edward said it was too big of an amount to be able to do anything about, in short he would do nothing to help me with what I needed. After that I ask if they carried refills for an item I had purchased there and if not where could I find them. Edward then proceeds to tell me to “google it”. Edward needs to leave his grumpy face at home and learn how to speak to customers. Overall they were no help and rude to top it off.
Female pharmacist is very rude. Never gives eye contact, looks irritated and as I was waiting watched the cashiers as for a consult she would walk over extend her arm they would scan her card never looking their way when she overhears conversations between customer and pharmacy cashier she interjected never addressing customer. Talking at people. Just witnessed her on the phone speaking answering question and making faces and throwing bagged medications in fustration. She looks like she HATES her job. The rest of the team is happy helpful and nice.
Some of the staff in the check out are very friendly but I have mainly had issues with the drive through pharmacy. We waited in front of the window for over 45 minutes for our COVID test and got very minimal interaction with the staff. Yes we did have an appointment and they were still unprepared. This isn’t something you can go inside for so we just had to bide our time and wait. People in the cars behind us came up to our car asking why we were sitting there for so long. The pharmacy staff made an already stressful experience so much worse.
Went by this morning and some rude little girl was at the drive through pharmacy. She saw me but ignored me and did other things. I signaled her and finally had to yell out and she replied with no microphone. Incredibly stupid. I told her that I had a simple question and she refused to hear me, rather she went on cleaning. Not one person was at the counter or drive through, only me. She couldn't give me a second to answer a question? So rude. I drove off. Who wants to patron a business where you get treated so rudely?
I called to ask a simple question about the status of my prescription refill, and the lady pharmacist on the phone who answered was extremely rude, dismissive, and unprofessional! I cannot believe they treat their customers like this. It also appears that a lot people have complained about this lady in the past reviews. Maybe this Walgreens should look into this employee that they have working at this location because obviously she does not know how to work with customers.
Not the best Walgreens. Even though it's closer to me, I won't use them for pharmacy services because they are understaffed and they seem to help the drive thru customers before they help the line inside. You would think if people were going to get out of their car, walk all the way to the back in order to pick up meds, they would get equal or better service than a drive through customer. Let's hope that things change so we can change our review.
This is the crappiest Walgreen's in the world. Getting your medication from the pharmacy is a third world experience. Don't go if you don't have 20 minutes to wait. The intercom is broken...and has been for months. Literally months. I was second in line today and even though four people were working it took over 20 minutes. I've been going here for years and this is always the treatment. I am officially going to HEB now.
No issues with my first prescription, but a whopping 3 with my second, including it being out of stock (which happens, no big deal), trying to give me the expensive brand name version when I'd never specified wanting it, and then not actually putting the correct number of pills in the bottle, so that I had to return yet again to get the right number added. They also have pretty short hours, which is inconvenient.
I drove 45 mins each way to a location that was only 15 mins away thanks to the blistering cold, road closures and the like. All to find out that their COVID testing had been canceled that day. Did I get a phone call? No. How about an email to let me know about it? No luck. Thanks for wasting an hour and half of my time while I’m sick all for nothing.
Great kind helpful staff! Prompt service. Offered help when I looked like I needed a question. Photo department was quick, efficient, and produced a great quality product. They did not disappoint! Went above and beyond their job role and was able to offer good local restaraunt recommendations as well.
Cancel pickup orders every time. At least 3 orders over a time span of 4 months I have tried to order from this location. It’s closest to my location. It never fails, the order is cancelled even with substitutions allowed. Save yourself the time, energy, frustration and order from another location.
No stars!!!!! The absolute worst experience called so many times and was told they couldn’t find my pictures then they threw them away but no one ever contacted. Don’t get any photos developed here the workers are so careless and will lose your stuff. Manager was rude too and no help.
I really like Robert and Hubert who are the two main pharmacists on duty. Very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. Sometimes there's a bit of a wait at the pharmacy counter, but outside of peak times it's not longer than 5 minutes. The store is as well-stocked as one would expect.
They need to be more specific about the free flu vaccines that you need to have health insurance and not all health insurances are covered for the flu vaccine. And it took the pharmacy worker about 15 minutes to let me know that my insurance wouldn’t cover the free flu vaccine.
March 21 2022 I went to Walgreens in search of medicine to give my dog who was stung by something. Christine the lady who was working went far and beyond to help me find what I could use. Thank you Christine and thank you Walgreens for hiring such a great employee!
We always buy our cokes and drinks here. Other Walgreens limit you to 3 cartons a day, and here they let you buy as many as you need. the help is very helpful and friendly. I have never had a problem. the problem is usually rude customers, who expect too much.
These people could care less if someone has been waiting since the night before for medication they specifically need for a child in pain. Specifically helped other people that came in after me. I am in the medical field and I cannot ever imagine being so rude
Went into this store and used the kiosk to process photos. Went to pick my order, asked the store associate Andrew Martinez for assistance and assisted in no time. Great customer service when completed my order. Thank you, Andrew! Great customer service.
WORST pharmacy ever!!!! Not only have they given me someone else's prescription before, they denied my new one because they were inputting my husbands birthday. Then the Pharmacist tried running it through an insurance I haven't had since 1993!
i personally dont deal wth pharmacy but i guess its okay store.i usually stop and pick up lil things here and there.but staff is always stiff and non friendly.they seem like robots.no hi find everything okay never greeted.
Nicest people in this pharmacy, live just down the street for 15 years now, always nice folks, pharmacist always takes time to discuss medications and dosages ... Some people only review to complain.
Always available to help with anything, very good customer service in the health and beauty department. She went out of her way to help me the entire time I was shopping in her department …
I have never had a problem here always friendly staff that are very helpful. I just think it is rude customers that expect the world to stop just because they walked in a store.
Worst pharmacy EVER. This Walgreens is completely understaffed, and has the rudest employees ever. Never try calling, they don't answer. Go somewhere else!!!!
ATM hasn’t been working on the last week, and employees don’t seem to care about it; which is a major disappointment when you need one in a hurry...
Our friendly neighborhood pharmacy. Fulfills all our needs. Staff always great you with a friendly smile. Staff is very professional and helpful.
Takes forever to get waited on when no one is in the store. Pharmacy takes a very long time to fill prescriptions. Very poor service.
Poor knowledge explaining home delivery service affored for customer use. I think it's time to look at other competitive pharmacies.
I have been overcharged for three different prescriptions. I have found the pharmacist to be defensive, rude and demeaning.
Unfortunately their customer service is awful. Definitely first and last time I use this store when ordering prints online.
I’m not sure why this location as low stars!? They have great service all around! Glad I switched from HEB pharmacy
Noah at the pharmacy desk was awesome today! We need more friendly people today. Thanks a bunch!
Received my Flu shot. My experience was pleasant and the staff was friendly and courteous.
Good and knowledgeable people here. Service is great and the people are friendly.
They seem to think they're working for insurance companies, not customers.
The pharmacist here is hateful and the employees are incompetent.
Pharmacy employee is rude and bad customer care.
Fast and friendly pharmacy.
Outstanding customer order
Excellent experience.
Love this place!
