"Locked restrooms and no staff member around to unlock"
"This has always been the fall back pharmacy for me when picking up my 87 year old parent's medications: If we are moving; & When she was "independent" & moved from place to place to fight to keep her independence (as we will hopefully) as long as she could"
"I am a 62 yr"

"Pros: proximity and location, friendly pharmacy techs"
Locked restrooms and no staff member around to unlock. I went in to buy some water and a few items I needed before my son's tennis practice nearby. When I walked in and immediately asked an employee where the restrooms were located. I was towards the back of the store and not to far from the restrooms. The employee showed me where they were and told me someone would go the back to unlock them. My son and I kept waiting but no one would go to the back. I walk over to the pharmacy, which had 3 employees working there and again asked if someone could please unlock the restroom. They guy paged for another employee to unlock the restroom. It must have been over ten minutes of waiting. It was getting close to my son's practice and we both needed to use the restroom. I go the cashier to pay and ask if she can please unlock the restroom, she could not leave her station. That is when I saw the same employee who told me someone would be in back to unlock the restroom, in the front at the photo kiosk with another customer. I believe opening the restroom is a little more important then ordering pictures. I had to complain yet again for that same lady to finally walk to the back and unlock the restrooms. I hate shopping inner city for this reason. They treat everyone like a criminal. A paying customer should not be made to wait that long to use the restroom. Their staff truly does not care about customer service. Telling me you are short staffed after you made me wait so long is unacceptable. If this employee knew they are short staffed to begin with then why did she just not open the restroom when she was already in the back? I won't ever step inside this location ever again.
This has always been the fall back pharmacy for me when picking up my 87 year old parent's medications: If we are moving; & When she was "independent" & moved from place to place to fight to keep her independence (as we will hopefully) as long as she could. They were able to allow me to pick up with her permission. And, as Covid19 has hit hard world wide, they are still there when all sh...hits the front the yard. And, most Cashiers and staff accommodate to the poor homeless population going in and out (only saw one in last 25 years be a little socialite & immediately call police upon one entering). Other than that they accommodate to all the neighborhood and non-neighborhood drama & needs. Thank-you for being so versatile & hiring staff to care for us all. Trying to get Ma' to 94 like my gramma & her older brother. But, it takes a Village!
I am a 62 yr. old male who has suffered a stroke and I happen to live 2 blocks from Walgreens and very often I visit the store to make various purchases at this store as it is the closest and more so to buy cigarettes (Stupid) and I know Walgreen's requires an ID. Today, I Iost my ID and went to buy cigs so I got an old expired ID. When I got to cashier and showed her I was born in 1959 she told me ID was no good because it was expired and could not sell me cigs I also want to note my hair is about 90% gray. While I understand her position, I question policymakers Is this a smart requirement and good for business or requirement needs better assessment. Needless to say I walked another block and store sold me cigs without questioning, Pont to ponder.
The stores website states covid testing in 2 hours which is great. However, you have to schedule an appointment for a test which cannot be done until the next day, you show up at your appointed time for the test, take the test expecting results by the end of the day. Apparently that is not how it works it has now been 25 hours and 15 minutes and still no results which means I have been waiting 3 full days since initially making my appointment and getting any results. Dont think it is the stores fault so Walgreens you really need to get your act together or change the wording on your website. Others in my office opted to go elsewhere and have already gotten results and BTW are in quarantine .
Pros: proximity and location, friendly pharmacy techs. Good at refill reminders. Fast and easy appointments for vaccines. Cons: Homeless and drug addicts are everywhere, including the parking lot and drive-thru, so be prepared. On numerous occasions I thought the pharmacist was rude and had poor bedside manner several times when I asked questions about new prescriptions, although technically correct in their responses; after consultations I frequently found myself thinking “geez sorry I asked, let me just ask my doctor.” The final straw that broke the camels back that led to me switching pharmacies was the reduced hours, they now close at 6pm.
For me Walgreens is everything, it's got groceries, apparel, electronics, pharmacy and it's also my bank. It's conveniently located three blocks from my home, so I'm there quite often. I know workers and managers there by first name, and I can deposit money into my bank whenever I need to. It's not a convenience store and it's not a big retail giant, it's somewhere in between. they have lots of specials, especially if you're a Walgreens Rewards member. I'm a penny pincher so I'm always looking for the good deals, and many times Walgreens wins. Plus they have a pharmacy drive-thru. Just a great place to shop. Adios amigos...
Samantha in the pharmacy is FANTASTIC! Super sweet, professional and patient. Location did not have what I needed but she went out of her way to find me suitable solution. Definitely bringing all my business here which is sad because the Walgreens on Zazamora and Commerce is much more convenient for me but their staff is rude and not helpful at all. Do better Walgreens on Zazamora and Commerce. Be like Samantha.
The pharmacy staff was very rude and impatient with my intellectually disabled little brother. We are trying to teach him how to be independent and do things for himself. Sometimes he has a stutter because he gets nervous and there was a woman that was just Rude with him! Some people are just plain mean. Staff needs to be in training on how to deal with people of all backgrounds and people of every spectrum!
Technician at the pharmacy took my name, then told me to sit down while she proceeded to serve about a dozen people in line behind me. Eventually, once she worked through the entire line I asked if anyone was working on mine. She replied “can’t you see we’re busy, we’re working on it” in a rude tone. I asked for an explanation and the pharmacist helped a tad. Probably won’t ever bring my business here again.
After stopping at a couple of other Walgreens was treated fairly " I landed on the Walgreens on Cypress and San Pedro talk about top notch customer service friendly attitude and eager to help. cashier Victoria went above and beyond to make my experience at Walgreens a delightful one the meaning of at the corner of Walgreens. Overall the store was clean management it all under control great experience.
I went to the pharmacy for the first time, unaware they close at 1:30. Despite showing up with a few minutes to spare, I had the shutter closed on me while making direct eye contact with a technician and trying to ask a question. Great customer service, apparently they don't want my money at this location. Oh, and getting harassed by the multiple homeless people right by the entrance is always a plus.
I've been shopping there for years and I have yet to see or hear an employee not help a customer. The way things are with short staffing every where in the country I'm sure Walgreens is no different, but yet there's a smile. Example; could not find a product and Jessica was her name helped me find not just that one but others. My Walgreens is on cypress and San pedro.
Horrible customer service in photo department. I was there because I needed my passport photo taken I was scolded like I was a child in trouble the lady and man had no patience. The photo continued to come crooked The lady made comments like well maybe your head is like that and your eye is lazy so rude !!!! I will never return here for ANYTHING
A few years ago I went to this location to print some pictures, and the cashier guy was very fast, he even asked me if I needed them soon( I was a mess and said yes) he had them ready in ten minutes as oppose to the hour that usually took. Even now they are very polite. It's a great location and great employees.
The Pharmacy has been where I spent a lot of time and they remember your name and your medicine... very professional and kind... One employee in the front is very nice and brighten up my day... she has piercings. I don't know her name but I LOVE shopping when she is there.
Love this pharmacy. Had to transfer to CVS because Walgreens didn’t offer delivery 2 year’s ago. Tried to ask by phone but pharmacy kept putting me on hold. Ever thought of using Bluetooth devices?! I would like to find out if they deliver more than 2 days a week?
I've been here twice during posted pharmacy hours and the pharmacy is closed. This time the sign says they're closed from 1:30pm to 2:00pm. For lunch I assume. Hire more people! A pharmacy that closes for lunch is not what I expect in 2018.
Love this Walgreens. The staff is great and its always clean. They cannot do anything about the bums. The only way anything will ever be done about it is if non employees call the police and complain! Only then will they be taken care of.
I have been getting my meds from this Walgreens for a couple years good service best service and they can get you your meds as soon as possible thanks to all the staff and facilitators for a good job I will keep my business there
This has to be the worst Walgreens ever. No one in drive through nor inside and they have you wait for ever. They also change prescription from brand to generic and start charging me from one month to the other.
Been here for an hour and still waiting in the line for the pharmacy. They are servicing about 1 customer about every 20 minutes. Its ridiculous. The past 3 times I’ve been to the dmv I have been helped faster.
Visited this location on friday and the cashier name who's name is Victoria gave top notch customer service along with the two other workers there. Will be visiting this location again!!!
doors were locked over ten minutes prior to closing and the employees just kinda started at me as i stood there needing to buy last minute medicine at the door
Personal muy amable, excelente servicio y buenos precios, sin duda un lugar en el que puedes comprar al alimento para la casa, imprimir fotos y mas! :D
Store is your standard Walgreens but could stand some 21st century upgrades. Gets some of the vagrant traffic outside - but the inside is clean.
Throughout the year there many seasonal items that can only be bought at Walgreens. A convenient store with a neighborhood pharmacy experience
Always great service and they always answer your call to tell you if they have it in stock before you go there.
The worst customer service experience I have ever had. Will not be returning to this location.
A bit pricey, but availability of items and their customer service is out-of-this-world!
Found everything I needed. Plenty of parking. Loved the cashier girl's smile!
Just a bad store with callous staff members. Especially the pharmacy.
Got my vaccination and they were super nice and friendly! …
Bunch of bums, get rid of them always get hit up for money.
Love this store always has what I need at a great price!!
Store is good. Too much panhandling outside, though.
