Before attending their Adult Human Development program I asked the school what type of job I might get upon completion. They sent a list of "jobs people with this degree have". When in the program they had an information night with potential employers. These were Portland Rescue Mission seeking volunteers and school district looking for classroom assistants . I already had an Associates but was required to take specific nontransferable courses. Although I successfully paid for and completed them I was not awarded an Associates degree through Warner or an explanation from them. A classmate received straight A grades for 4 years and was awarded Best Student by the professors still worked in the Costco Food Court for years after graduation and is now at the front desk after failing to find a position using her education with equal pay. The only student I know to potentially have change due to attending has continued on to higher levels of education. The HD adult program professors were usually adjunct and as one said was teaching class to keep her house. She showed videos every night followed by comments such as "You could tell that one couple was Jewish by the way they looked". Having students present individually or/and as groups regularly consumed up to all the class time. The real jewel was when upon finding out my job position the professor added an assignment to write about our jobs and she later sought my actual position. Adult program students were not allowed to buy any other than new books through the program; an expensive policy. Warner Pacific never contacted me.
Nicely maintained. Good staff. Great choice.
