if i could i would give this 0 stars. not a kind space by any means. terrible customer service. will not be returning here to do my laundry anymore. context: my two roommates and i did our laundry here for months and the owner started talking down to us several different times, each for no apparent reason. we’re all quiet, have always been respectful when doing our laundry, don’t cause any disturbances whatsoever and have been nothing but kind to him anytime we’ve stepped foot in his establishment regardless of how he has treated us. he has acted like us being there was a massive inconvenience to him, which is ironic because the majority of the time we have been there it hasn’t been busy. he would constantly make comments about how we were doing our laundry saying that we were “taking too long” to sort our laundry when other people in the establishment were taking much longer to fold their clothes and taking up far more space than any of us were. recently when we had started the washing machine, he had come up go us with another customer and abruptly told us “not to block the machines because other customers need access to them.” even though we weren’t taking up any extra room at all, he continued to imply that we needed to move so that the customer looking for a machine to use could use the one we were using. he had seen us there unloading our laundry bins, and seemed annoyed with us that our laundry was already running in the machines. i don’t know why we were targeted, but i’m appalled at the lack of respect this establishment has for other people.

Think twice before getting dry cleaning services with Washworld!! I brought in 3 winter jackets for cleaning and they were returned in worse shape. Once I got them home and removed from the plastic cover, I notice, they were visibly dirty, damp and the down filling was clumped up all over. When I returned, they refused to see an issue but eventually took the jackets back to be fixed Again, the same damage but now one of my coat's color faded. The faux fur on the hood is matted due to remaining damp. When speaking to the owner I was told this was 'normal'. Yet, I've had them dry cleaned before without a problem. Between the 3 winter coats, total is about $800 and I paid just over $100 to have them all cleaned. I was never offered any sort of refund or compensation for the damages. The owner was dismissive and merely read verbatim the back of a receipt booklet (Liability Terms and conditions) I assume.

This is a CLEAN, WELL- STAFFED laundry facility. They have approx 18 washers (single, double and triple load capacities). You can do Your own at reasonable coin load cost.They also 24 dryers = 6 minutes per quarter drying time. Alternatively, they also offer a very good/convenient Wash & Fold Service (which I have also used) at a reasonable $1.00 per pound. Heavier/larger items(Comforters,Quilts, Drapes etc.) are charged individually. I was very impressed with the results of both methods. Will be using this facility regularly in the future.

Every kind of washing machine except for the super-huge ones where you wash your boat tarp. Dryers are 7 minutes/quarter and are piping hot! Many other places give you 5 minutes in dryers that only make it up to lukewarm at best. Washing machine instructions are in Spanish and English for your convenience. A bit hard to find as it's actually up an alley off of Kenwood (Lauretta Brooks Lane - which isn't in Google Maps!) but if you turn west off of Vaughan Road at Kenwood you'll immediately see the sign pointing down the lane to it.

First time using a coin laundry as blankets and duvet are too big to be washed in our condo washer dryer. Parking can be a bit hard to find as you have to drive into the alley. They have several different sizes of washers and dryers with different pricing. The machines worked well and we were able to purchase detergent and bounce sheet from the counter. There is a small area where you can sit so you can stick around if you want. I will most likely be returning to this place for more washing and drying.

Really amazing Gem to find! Clean and friendly establishment - true mom and pop kinda place. Machines that work!!! Dryers that get the Job done. Super impressed! Free wifi, free PARKING, change machine, soda machine, and they sell some laundry products. Would prefer some music being played vs the gospel TV that’s been on for the duration of my stay BUT I understand I could have just brought my headset... Sooooo if you want tunes bring your own.

This rating is based primarily on thier wash & fold service. Foremost for me is good bang for your buck ($1/lb). They offer same day service (length of times for this service may vary). Building is clean, and they have free parking & wifi. They also have a pop & detergent dispenser A note to those using thier wash & fold or dry cleaning service: It's cash only and although they have a change machine, they do not have an ATM.

It was our first time to a coin laundry and thanks to Ubel, it was really smooth and easy. There are different types of washers and dryers depending on the size of the load. One can also buy detergent, fabric softener and dryer sheets for 1 load from there. They have a coin change machine as well for putting in dryer and washer. They have free wifi and waiting area as well. Good place overall.

This place is bright, clean, quiet and offers free WiFi. There is a wide selection of washers and dryers of different capacities, a washroom, inside and outside seating, basket carts, coin and detergent dispensers and free parking. Personally, I love that its located in an alley a few steps away from the main street so mot many people see you lugging around laundry.

I used to like coming here, but I won't be coming here anymore. I did a load of laundry and when I went to take it out it was wet, and soapy. The person working refused to run the load again, forcing me to pay out of my own pocket to run it through. It was a waste of my time and money. I would not recommend this place.

Nice and clean place to do your laundry. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They have 3 different sizes of machines and many dryers. My clothes are actually clean after I come here, before I used to do my laundry and the room at my building but here I can see the difference. Highly recommended it.

I have been in this area for years. I have used this laundromat since I've moved. Sometimes it's a little dirty but for there most part always clean, fair prices, staff is great. It gets very busy some days. But I would recommend this place if you need a laundromat and live in the area.

The gentle man who owns this laundromat has been so kind to me in the past, even staying late for me when I was juggling school and work, and I would show up within 30min of closing with my laundry. I will happily patronize this business as long as I'm in the neighbourhood. Thank you!

This is our favourite local laundry, always clean and owners always have staff available for any concerns. My husband and I only do our laundry here. They have even saved items that we left behind safely until our return. Highly recommended …

I’ve been using the wash and fold service for many years. They are fantastic. They are so quick and they fold my linens so tightly they’d fit anywhere. Highly recommend these wonderful people. They’re always going the extra mile.

Really impressed! Super clean, lots of machines of all sizes, seems like a really well maintained place. I travel a little out of my way to get to Washworld, as it is far superior to the other dinky neighbourhood laundry mats.

clean facilities, free wifi, tv if you want it. on hot days it gets "warm" (88 degrees one time). Also, if you do your dry cleaning thee, make sure the indian dude is working otherwise pricing and service is all over the map.
