We had a team assist us in moving on Saturday 27/11/21, and we were not happy with the experience as a whole. Firstly when we booked we were not told their would be any additional fees for making payment with eftpos, and I thought I had booked with St george removalists ( which is who I submitted a quote with and this was the name they stated over the phone when they called my mobile). When the removalist arrived they told me it would be an additional 5-10% charge if I paid with eftpos ( I feel this is outrageous and also a scam). There was a lot of pressure to pay with cash and I had to insist and wait for a receipt to be emailed because I felt I was being put into a position to pay with cash. Further to this the team dragged out the move until their next job which started at 2pm. I have had my house moved several times and it has never taken 7 hours to move before ( I understand that it was wet and they may have had to move a little slower due to this but on numerous occasions there were big gaps between anyone coming back into the house to move more furniture and at times they would carry just one single light item, which I myself could have carried plus more). Further to this my partner and I had already moved all the boxes and smaller items ourselves prior to them arriving. So there were only a few last minute smaller items ( eg 2 suitcases, bin, dog beds) and our large household furniture to move. - Please note -My entire house 3 bedroom house plus study was moved interstate last year and it took the 2 removalist 2.5 hours to pack up the house and 2 hours to unpack which had more items and boxes then the move that occurred on the 27/11/21 with this company. They also tried to charge me for wrapping the mattresses which was quoted as free anyway and then tried to tell me they would give me a discount and not charge me for the mattress wrapping. Additionally the team scratched the floor of our new rental property when moving the fridge into the kitchen. This is a newly painted floor so it is very obvious that it is scratch. They pretended that they didn’t and said it was just a scuff mark but it is visibly scratch. ( see attached photo). They also have put two chips/scratches into two of the door frames when entering the house with furniture. Furthermore when the removalist initially arrived they clumsily moved the bbq and stand and actually broke the bbq stand. It should not have happened to begin with, if they had removed the bbq from the stand and then moved the stand. They were not listening to me when I tried to stop them and help them with this. I tried to contact the company via phone several times with no answer or response and sent an email to the manager with no response. I would not use this company/s goes by different alias - Fair warning.

DO NOT TRUST THIS BUSINESS. IT IS A SCAM! After the guys had come to pick up all my stuff from the first location, with only a TV unit left, I decided to meet them at the second location. I drove 20 minutes and waited an extra 2 1/2 hours for the two men to arrive. After waiting, I decided to call head office who then contacted the two men. On arrival, the two men abused me for getting in contact with head office. They told me that they had to bring the TV unit downstairs ( which I made head office aware of the stairs when booking and was charged extra) When arriving head office were made aware that there was a bit of a walk from the garage to the apartment. The two men demanded that I pay them extra in cash for this (this cash payment was apparently not included in the payment to head office) when I rejected the payment, this to man sat in the truck on the phone, arguing with head office for nearly an hour and a half. After waiting for the two men to get off the phone with head office, I decided to unload the truck myself. One of the men disappeared to one of the shops to find a shopping trolley and came back after a while to stack boxes. After an extremely crazy amount of time, I had helped the guys with all the boxes transfer to the apartment. Unfortunately we were having trouble trying to fit the lounge in the elevator as it was pretty awkward So we decided we would leave it to the side and do it at the end. they came up to the apartment and told me they wouldn’t be bring the lounge up to the apartment because of the elevator and told me if I wanted to bring the lounge I would have to do it myself and use the fire escape stairs. then they disappeared Half an hour before they were finished and I found them both in someone else’s apartment talking and helping her rearrange the furniture on her balcony. when they finally came down stairs I asked them to help me with the lounge again and they said they didn’t want to because they were only paid till 2pm and if I wanted help with it I’d have to pay them overtime and they just walked away from me and drove off.. I was charged for a whole days work after been quoted on the phone for a two hour job. When I got in contact with head office I was told to make the full payment and then dispute it. She told me that it would most likely be refunded. I have been in contact with them for weeks And every single email has been rejected.

I wish I would could give this company a zero-star review. Zero stars is being too generous, maybe negative -1000 stars. In the process of moving, they managed to obliterated/destroy/violate (sounds like a NIN song) my fridge, couch, TV and a laptop. I had very few large items in my home on a level block of land. I had only a fridge (great place to store beer or JD’s), couch (great place to sit and drink beer or JD’s), 3 mattress and beds (great place to recover), 2 tables, 3 chairs, 2 pcs and inflatable pool (Long story! Let’s not go there!) and roughly 25 boxes needed to be moved. They arrived with a 14-ton truck and took over 3 hours to load the truck with my assistance. I asked them how beers or JDs did they have last night, they did not response. Maybe they do not like beer or JD? They were disorganised and maximised the time spend loading the truck. Yes, sometimes I am disorganised too AFTER a few drinks. I remember ordering 12 beers just 5 minutes before happy hour ends. It seemed like a good idea at the time. But who likes to drink warm beer? They were placing one light box on trolley and transporting to their truck instead of two light boxes. Sure, they were not body builders and either am I. I do not have a six pack but prefer a six pack of beer. I suggested that they could place an extra light box on the trolley. But I was ignored! I have used a trolley with 4 cases of beers on it for pushed 100 metres twice and got the beer to the party intact, well minus a beer or two. But you get the picture ! Also, they carried one light bag of clothes at time. Then, I was told by the guys that they were unable to pack everything in truck. So I took a look in the back of the truck, Crickey !, there was enough room to fit two 4 metres crocodiles in the back. I went to grab some boxes, but by the time I got back they left ! Gone in 60 seconds, more like Gone in 10 seconds ! I did not think a 14 ton truck could more that fast ! I had to ring another company, ACI Transport – Rocky, collect the remainder of belongings from my home. Rocky arrived within 20 minutes, LEGEND, and he did not charge me a call-out fee because these guys bent me over. Overall, a horrible experience, I rather slide down on a 40 ft samurai sword by my b$ll$ than experience this saga again. This company does not want to assist, so my option is the department of Fair Trading. Avoid at all costs !

DO NOT EVER use this service if you want a stress free move and looking for quality service. I received 3 staff as per the booking. Not only were they inefficient and unprofessional with no sense of urgency or care for the fact that the customers are paying by the hour, they broke a much-liked furniture, a glass display cabinet that I have owned for years (pics attached). They displayed absolutely no attention to detail. We had to constantly request them to complete simple tasks of putting things in place and in proper order, for e.g. the washing machine was left on the carpet in the living room, although I opened the door to the laundry area and showed them to it. We have a wooden three door cupboard that comes apart for the purposes of moving. They put it back together in a way that left a wide gap between the two halves. We once again had to bring it to their notice and request them to rejoin it properly so the gap was closed. Furthermore, they didn't even fully deliver and complete the move. Unbelievable as it is, they actually explicitly asked us to move some of the items (such as tv, computer monitor, bed side tables etc.) by ourselves. Please note here that I provided a full inventory of possessions, as requested, before the quote and booking the service. We had pieces of furniture, appliances and other items left behind that we had to move ourselves the next day by requesting help from a friend (pics attached). As if that wasn't enough, the staff also littered the common area of the complexes, both at pick up and drop off venue, with drink cans and other personal rubbish (pics attached). What's worse is that now after all this I find the management unresponsive and uncooperative when I am trying to get some compensation since I paid a little over $1000 for 6.5hrs for a service that was incomplete and left me with one of my favorite pieces of furniture broken. I am constantly having to follow up and it is highly likely that I will have to take the matter to Fair Trading. All in all a horrendous and extremely stressful experience.

By far the worst experience I have had with a removalist company. The staff (removalist and office management) were highly unprofessional, untrained and created a very stressful situation. We were overcharged and left with damaged property with no compensation. I'm not sure how a company can justify charging a customer so much for such poor quality of service. The removalists pushed time on the job as a deliberate tactic to charge for extra hours. We ended up moving half the stuff ourselves and constantly had to check in on them. They had very poor communication skills and were difficult to deal with as they did not listen and had to be told the same thing several times. We called the admin office to resolve the issues we were facing but were told that they would call us back and then never heard from them. Removalists were reckless in moving our furniture, at one point one of the removalists was carrying our TV by one hand from the corner. The truck was loaded with a lot of furniture not secured properly resulting in damage. They have caused damage to a brand new computer screen which is now completely unusable. The payment was very stressful as we felt we were being overcharged and additional charges were added but not explained clearly and no invoice being provided. We were then pressured to pay cash, at that point we were too exhausted and just wanted the removalists to move the remaining items. A set amount was decided with the manager. Even after organising the cash payment last minute the removalists were very rude. They were aggressive, yelling and being threatening towards us. They tried to intimidate us by sitting in the truck and refusing to remove the remaining furniture, telling us until we paid them more money they would sit there and charge us extra time. It's been almost 8 weeks since the move, we were asked to set up a ticket with their customer service to provide additional information and photos. Our ticket has now been closed with no information or compensation. Disappointing and disheartening.

UPDATE: WeMove replied to this comment, but have not replied to numerous messages I have sent them through their support desk. I don’t believe they have any intention of rectifying the issues, but want to save face publically by acting as though they are responding. Awful moving company. Having charged 1/5 of the price I paid to pack and move from London to Sydney, I expected WeMove to provide a professional service. Instead I had 2 x movers arrive only to tell me that they had not been booked to pack, and argue with me when I showed them the booking note. To their credit, but only after a 30min stand off, they went to Bunnings to buy packing material. I don’t know why they bothered to buy packing paper as they took no care to properly pack and wrap items, and forced appliances into boxes that didn’t fit properly. They took no care when moving items and boxes, damaged my walls in 3 places, and argued over how to carry heavy items down the stairs. After the argument, one went and sat in the van meaning the loading went slower, therefore cost me more. I had 2 x tradesmen at the pick up location who commented to me after the movers had left how shocked they were, and they hoped everything got to the destination in one piece. They left in such a rush they left and ironing board and bin behind. WeMove said on the phone that while they would take off the time for the packers to get the materials, they would not discount the travel time, even though I left the property an hour after they did, yet we arrived at the destination at the same time (very obvious these guys went to have lunch). The movers left cigarette buts on my front door step, and were not professional. I contacted the office about the issues, and have chased multiple times with regards to the damage, and have heard nothing back.

I had a move back in August 2022. Initially everything was great, the removealists arrived on time, finished promptly and the lady that I had spoken to over the phone regarding billing was lovely. A drawer corner was crushed from a chest of drawers during the move and I was contacted within a day or two after, asking for details and a ticket was raised. 6 months later and no update, i emailed the company (no response received) and called twice. Both times I was told someone would call me back after lunch. No callbacks received. Only after the second call did I receive a response via e-mail stating that the officer dealing with the case would review and get back to me as the ticket had been closed on their end. No one ever got back to me. Even though the ticket was closed on their end, I never received any notification or resolution. After having to chase them down several times 6+ months after the move, receiving barely any correspondence, I had to raise the issue with fair trading as it seems to be the only way to communicate with the company. The furniture item is neither expensive nor sentimental but it is now an eyesore, and given the positive experience I had on the day of the move, I would not have pressed the matter any further had they just taken any initiative beyond asking for details of the incident. I would not use this service again. Update: 1 year from the move date and 1 month since I sent We Move Group my bank details so that they can pay the (pathetic) amount they agreed upon with fair trading , I have received no response and of course, no payment.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY, THEY WILL DAMAGE YOUR GOODS!!! THEY DAMAGED OUR BRAND NEW $700 FRIDGE AND DID NOT OFFER ANY REASONABLE COMPENSATION TO RESOLVE THE MATTER!!! Currently about to escalate damages not paid while moving to VCAT NSW as this company has screwed myself and my girlfriend around for 3-4 weeks and not taken responsibility for damages caused by very dodgy removalists. I would steer very clear of this company as they are some very dodgy operators. I will now be required to waste even more time and money to make my claim and gather my evidence to VCAT to settle this matter. Go elsewhere and get professionals to do the job, the amount of time I am wasting now to gain damages is starting to get ridiculous. BELOW COMMENT ADDED TO ORIGINAL COMMENT ON WED 26TH, 2023. (By the way, the attempt to save face with the reply below is just for show on Google. I rang the company and mentioned the very poor activity of their staff and provided photo evidence of the item prior to delivery and post delivery). Nice try to reply and look like you care to this message. Worst moving experience and I will be paying a professional company more money to guarantee my high end goods are not damaged on my next move. If you are reading this review, please do not use this company. Use a professional company that will get the job done correct and be accountable when they mess up a job. Not just attempt to reply on google and look professional, but behind the scenes provide less than adequate service and leave you out of pocket.

We moved with this company a couple of months ago. Chris the removalist had dropped a lounge piece on our TV and broke the TV. The dint went so deep you can't even switch the TV on. They took photos, he was very apologetic and they contacted head office to inform them what happened. Head office called that day and said first they needed final payment for the move then they would submit the claim through insurance to have the tv sorted which we were told would be done with in a couple of days...It has been months. They first requested a receipt for the TV which was bought brand new (Samsung) in 2021 which we did not have (who would have thought you would need it in case a removalist damaged the TV). Once explained they said they either offer money or a similar replacement. They offered $500 (not sure what kind of tv we would be able to buy with $500) which didn't even cover the cost of the move. When we responded to advise that at a minimum we would take $1000 they went silent. When we emailed again it bounced as if we have been blocked, head office never answer the phone. It has been months and what would have been a simple fix has been dragged out and we are without a TV. Looking at similar reviews this seems to be quite common. We will be taking this to A Current Affair & the Ombudsman unless we get a response ASAP.

I recently used We Move Sydney for a move, and unfortunately, I had a disappointing experience. The service was too expensive, and I encountered hidden charges that I was not informed about beforehand. This lack of transparency was frustrating and left me feeling misled. Additionally, the drivers sent to assist with the move did not accept EFTPOS, requiring cash on hand, which was extremely inconvenient. It seems unreasonable in this day and age to not offer a more accessible payment option. The drivers were also slow in moving my belongings, which led me to believe that they were intentionally trying to increase the total amount charged, as the service is billed per hour. This lack of efficiency caused unnecessary stress during the move. To make matters worse, the drivers damaged my glass dinner table. Communication with the drivers was difficult, as they did not speak or understand English properly. This language barrier contributed to misunderstandings and further frustration. Overall, I cannot recommend We Move Sydney due to the hidden charges, slow service, and lack of professionalism. I strongly encourage others to consider alternative options when planning their move.

Booked the move for 8am-10am. Guys were 20 mins late, no call to update me at all. Office doesn’t open til 8:30am so I had no clue where the truck was. No direct number to the movers. Elevators are also booked for a certain block of time. When guys arrived, they were not apologetic. I get that traffic can be bad but at least give the customer an update so they know you are still on the way. Guys were also not prepared and they said it’s the fault of the office for not letting them know. But basically over the phone I was told that they would shrink wrap my mattress to protect it. Guys didn’t bring shrink wrap. I also told them I had a bed frame that needed disassembling and that was also part of the price but the guys didn’t bring the tools and said the office didn’t tell them anything. They were also really slow. I didn’t have a lot of stuff, the move should’ve only taken 2 hours tops, but it ended up being 3 hours and that’s with me helping move stuff from my apartment to the lift. Had I not helped out, it would’ve taken even longer. This is how they get you when it’s every half hour. Overall not a good experience. Would not recommend.

Double charged, damaged floor and demanded cash because it’s a weekend. Was quoted $350 but ended up paying $660. Went overtime which I was happy to pay for but not the ridiculous overcharge on top of that. Not to mention that the sales lady quoted for a smaller truck than required. I had told her all the furniture we had, and when the removalists came, they said the truck was too small?! My partner and I had to make another 6 runs using our car to finish moving the smaller items and boxes. Then upon reaching out to company regarding these issues, was offered $50 (and then increased to $100) in return to promise to not post a review. I didn’t accept the money as I wasn’t satisfied with how they handled this. They basically had every excuse to cover up, instead of just admitting to what they had done. They then also said that it was easy to appeal to Google to get my review taken down?? Highly unethical and I was especially shocked that I was forced to pay cash or else the removalists would not leave. Cash on delivery was never discussed. Would leave 0 stars if I could.

I moved with these guys in 2022, but recently started receiving Facebook advertising for them and remembered the appalling service I received. I am warning anyone that requires service in a timely manner, do not book with We Move. My removalists were booked to arrive between 9am-noon. They arrived at 5. FIVE PM. I'd also told them about the 3.2m clearance of my building, but they sent a 3.4m truck. When they arrived they were tired, I felt bad for the 2 guys because they had a huge job earlier, but considering they were over 5 hours late, I just wanted the job done. It was difficult to communicate and we had some trouble getting them to the destination due to the language barrier. The move itself was efficient, and they didn't break anything. But the management of the company was extremely unhelpful when I kept calling over the 5 hours to check the status of their arrival. If you're looking for cheap service, and you don't care about waiting around for 5 hours, We Move might suit you. I personally will never use them again.

DON'T USE THIS COMPANY. On the 1st February I booked a Sydney removals company to move a 1 bedroom unit from Wentworth Point to Drummoyne (20mins away). I was quoted $457.00 for them to move bedroom furniture, sofa, fridge, TV and unit, dining table and chairs, and several boxes. Easy move?... No way. The day went downhill from there. The two removalists were an hour late and turned up at the wrong location. They were the slowest removalists I have ever experienced, moving mininal items at any one time. Then after 6 and a half hours the move was completed....and the final bill was almost triple the original quote....OMG. And on top of this I was charged an 'excess walking fee' despite it being a unit complex with a designated moving zone. At the end of the day the removalists insisted I pay them cash which of course I refused. I have made several attempts with the company seeking compensation. Once again, it was the customer who lost and taken advantage of. Don't use 'We Move Sydney'

Never using their services again. The two movers were nice people and professional but they work under terrible conditions. The company sent them more than 3 hours late (and was still charged call out fee even though I had to keep calling them to check their ETA), it was their 4th job on the day and by the end they were exhausted and making mistakes.. The move was very slow and with hidden fees (was charged fuel fee and the quote said there was none). Paid way more than quoted and had to go to an ATM with them to get cash as there was no one in the head office to charge my card. Still waiting for my receipt. EDIT: After 3 days I managed to get the receipt. The receipt said Fuel Levy was charged even though both the quote and the work order explicitly said 0% Fuel Charges. How can I proceed with a refund? I have been calling all day and no one answers the phone. EDIT 2: Took more than a week but I finally got refunded for the fuel charges that were incorrectly charged.

There is no option for no star ! So I had to give them 1 star. Very unprofessional . Very very poor communication between the person taking the booking and the person actually does the job in the field . Need to move some equipment from Penrith to dulwichhill . 1st day came 2 hour late ,( driver slept in , made us wait ) then they find out tuck is not big enough to fit the equipment and charge us 150 $ for cancelation ! . We had no choice since we paid them in Advance !!! . Next day still came late , with slight bigger truck But , unaware of the size of the equipment AGAIN !! Now I don’t know wt the office girls and the movers on field was talking prior to do the job!! I know u gonna respond my review by saying “ Raising a ticket “ , “ sorry for Ur experience with us “ ! Guys cut the Cr*p . U R NOT THE ONLY ONE WHO DOES THIS BUSINESS .if U gotta do some job , do it with heart ! Do it right . Stop robbing people like this . Wt goes around will come back to u .

Not worth your money. Demanded I paid extra $250 in cash for a slight walk from loading area to elevator. I told the two guys I already notified head office of the access and that it was fine. After some arguing as English is not their first language they demanded $150 in cash. I told them I was paying by credit card and that it should not cost that much for moving no more than 10 pieces of furniture an extra 50 meters. I pulled out my calculator and told them how much I was quoted and how much I was going to pay (factoring in fuel, call out fee etc) and they decided to still argue. After feeling very annoyed I told them to leave everything at the elevator and that I would move it myself, to avoid any additional fees due to time. The job was under 3 hours including all travel and yet they charged me almost $750 when it should’ve been $450. Extremely dishonest removalists asking for cash too. Don’t recommend

I had the pleasure of hiring Gill and Billy as my removalists, and I couldn't be happier with their services! They were an absolute dream team throughout the entire moving process. Gill and Billy were incredibly patient, taking the time to carefully plan and strategize the move to ensure everything went smoothly. Their methodical approach was impressive, and they handled my furniture with the utmost care, treating it as if it were their own. Not only were they efficient, but their energy and positive attitude made the moving day so much easier. They tackled the heavy lifting with enthusiasm and made the whole experience stress-free. I can't thank Gill and Billy enough for their outstanding work. Would give 0 if I could. Booked them for 9am to 1pm arrival. Didn't hear from anyone by 12.30 so I had to call to follow up. Was told by the office ladies (who were very nice) they would come by 2. Then the removal guys call saying they will come by 3. We wasted a day waiting. Paid a $100 deposit after telling the lady who booked it that they would have to park on the nature strip as there is nowhere else to park. On arrival they tell me we have to sign a waiver and send our drivers licence to accept responsibility for any fines. They then start loading some items up (not very carefully). I refused to provide my drivers licence. A guy called me and said he will send me the form they want me to sign so I can review it but it was never received. He then messages to say he sent them home and won't refund me the $100. What a waste of my time and effort. Easier to move things yourself!

The management was very helpful and professional. On the other hand one of the removalist was extremely unprofessional. We had to call the police because he had very concerning behaviour, he seemed to be high on substances or he might have had some serious mental health issue, either way he definitely can not work around people. The driver hit a high restriction sign and broke it, they also broke the lift. The situation was very tense and the removalist was unstable and attacking the building manager and my partner, making racist and discrimination comments out of nowhere, he said that he could not work with that energy. I am not going to be specific because I feel sick only to think the things he was saying. I will not recommend this company, even though the management was very supportive they do hire the removalists and should take responsibility for it.

They pride themselves on squeezing the most money out of you with only the smallest amount of effort. If you enjoy spending many months of your life chasing companies for reimbursement of damages then look no further than We Move Sydney! Special shout out to the guy who arranged my living room furniture, his prowess cannot be matched. Addit: After a year of negotiations, unreturned phone calls and emails… I was offered a 50% refund of the invoice of the repairs for the damages caused by we move group. They refused to accept 100% ownership of the damages. I have already submitted a formal complaint with the Department of Fair Trading and strongly suggest you do too if you get stung by these guys or anyone else for that matter.

I really recommend this company for your relocation. Moving far far away to the bush, I ask few other companies for a quote that was very expensive and made me want to ditch all and just buy new one. But this company give a very reasonable fee. Despite value for money, the service provided by Greg and Arato were premium and phenomenal . Arrive on-time, expert and fast packing. And as I move in a bit of rush, my new rental home is not ready and I have to temporarily store it in storage (very hard to get storage in small city, only able to get 3x3m one) But Greg and Arato must be a Tetris champion!! I was incredibly disgusted by the service that I received. 2 men showed up and one was like a grandfather and could hardly lift anything. The 2 men complained all day and it took much longer than the original quote - 2.5 hours longer! Then they refused to move the fridge, saying it would take 5 men to do it, complaining the whole way. They kept on requesting for more $$ , for packing, and insurance to move the fridge. It was a completely disastrous experience. Then before they emptied the truck, they requested a settlement of the final payment, but they were guesstimating how long the balance would take, and they just added time! The whole experience was horrible and I would NEVER use this company again. I was very disappointed...

Wouldn’t recommend. The guy was not careful with my furniture. My tv unit is chipped, my new marble coffee table has a chunk missing from the edge. My cream fabric bed was so dirty when it came to my new place that now I need to pay to have it dry cleaned. Our apartment was freshly painted, when furniture was brought in it was getting knocked on walls and door frames. I also let the office know I was unhappy about the damage on my coffee table and they ignored my email. They guys barley spoke English, when you ask or say something they just look at you. I have had better services previously shame I couldn’t remember the guys we used last time as they were amazing.

We booked, well in advance and paid a deposit for an internal move, ahead of tradies coming in. After waiting an hour and a half past the scheduled arrival time for the office to open, I then waited another 15 minutes on the phone while they figured there had been a ' scheduling error'. Really? I am paying three tradies by the hour to sit and wait for two hours to be told opps, scheduling error? What type of company is this? There are lots of removalists out there, I recommend you find a legit one - but check carefully as this mob operate under many names. Beware their 1300 number! An expensive choice for us - with no care or responsibility from them. Not happy.

I feel sick to my stomach!! These people will rip you off! I was charged an extra $280 to wrap items with a blanket and glad wrap! I was also charged $80 for a heavy lifting fee to remove my fridge! What home doesn’t have a fridge! None of these fees were outlined in the quote! Or mentioned until they arrived on the day. The removalists were slow, their hygiene was offensive! And they refused to move wardrobes because they were tall! They didn’t take any care in moving my furniture either. Over $1600 for 5.5hrs! Is disgusting Initial quote was $500 I had surgery the week before and couldn’t lift anything heavy, I couldn’t even help them to make it faster!

We Move performed my unit move recently in May 2023. The two people who performed the work, Max and Connor, deserve special mention. Max and Connor were easy to get along with, they were willing workers, just got on with the job, took care, consulted me about my preferences, accepted my inputs and also had great stories to share to boot. I could not have asked for better guys. AFAIC, Max and Connor are champions and deserve my strong praise. I hope their boss is reading this. We Move was easy to book, responsive to phone and email and made my booking an easy and straightforward experience. The price basis and rates were good value. I recommend.

These guys owe me $1605 which is $1500 for the damage to my fridge and overcharging of the removalist fees for their slow and lazy workers plus an additional court fee as I had to take them to court AFTER they agreed at NCAT to give me $1500. It has been four months. Until it's paid this will stay up, you have my bank account details. My fridge is so damaged it looks like someone dropped it off my balcony. Don't be like me and get stuck dealing with this, I was less than 10km from house to house and they charged me $1200, trespassed demanding payment at 11:30pm on a Saturday after delaying the job by over 5 hours and more.

We had our floorboards damaged after the removalists leaned heavy bed slats against the wall, which subsequently fell over. We informed the removalists at the time about this. When I tried to later make a claim, I was initially informed that the damage was too minor to be covered by We Move's insurance. I was then told that the removalists had confirmed with us at the time that the damage was pre existing (despite our removalist saying he sent the photos to head office for an insurance claim at the time of the accident!) Friendly and efficient service, and a good price, but don't be expect compensation for damages.

Engaged We Move in September and paid the $200 deposit. Movers came and everything went ok. When I paid they sent me an invoice for the full amount (not less the deposit) which I paid. I then called to ask them to refund the deposit amount I have overpaid. I have sent 9 emails and called up 6 times to be told it has been escalated with “accounts” and they will submit the refund. It has been almost 2 months now and I have still not received. Are you hoping I’m just going to forget about it and move on? I will be contacting fair trading if the refund is not issued today.

Extra costs not mentioned in Enquiry call, costs quoted were elevated (call out price added, fee for going up steps increased, wanted to charge for fuel when moving 2 blocks and originally said no fuel charges) turned up with a much smaller truck than was ordered so it couldn’t fit all we needed to take which would amount to an extra trip ( and more time and money) Make sure you get all details in initial Enquiry in writing (if you can). Contractors who completed the job were great and worked really hard- pity the company isn’t forthright in delivering promises.

After detailed telephone booking and prepayment of a deposit, their apparently subcontracted truck turned up one hour late to the quoted "8AM sharp" appointment without the critical and agreed packing supplies (items headed for long term storage), then refused to refund our deposit and had the hide to try to invoice us for the move, making a series of blatantly false claims! Similar to other reviews we were powerless to contact their office as they were closed. Total bait and switch criminals with no professionalism. The government should shut this down. Avoid.

I have never used a removals company before till now. I obtained a few quotes and chose not the cheapest and not the most expensive but I chose the company with the best service . I then booked two seperate days to relocate two different locations. We were greeted with 2 men (Ray & Raymond) they were quick, polite, efficient and simply great. So I requested for them to assist with my second move days later. I highly recommend this company for your removal needs. Really bad service. 1. I had movers that dropped soil on my carpet and didn't bother to do anything about it even after I raised it. 2. They also put my bed together in such a way where it's damaged and creeks all the time. 3.They assured me at the time of quoting no call out fees applicable then said it was when the session ended. 4. Movers were too lazy to plug in my washing machine. To top it off, they haven't responded to any of my emails on the customer support side. Don't waste your time or money. These aren't your guys.

I had a team of two men come to pack up my 2 bedroom unit from start to finish. Although it took much longer than initially quoted (9 hours), the men were very professional, courteous and respectful during the whole process and regularly checked in with me to make sure I was happy or to let me know when they found items already damaged before they packed them. They were careful with how they stacked the boxes and very thorough, didn’t miss a thing. A really great service from a great team of men and would definitely use again!

Stay away. A shakedown from the start. No interest in customer service. Only objective of management and the staff was to milk the job for extra fees and or extra cash for "out of scope work". If the item is "too heavy" it is "out of scope". Which sort of undermines why we hired them as removalists in the first place. Any movement of items involving elevation is "out of scope" and costs an extra $100. None of this is made known at time of booking. Deliberately delay to push the time on job to outside the prepaid minimum.

Terrible experience. Do NOT use or recommend. Turned up 2 hours late. No calls, no communication. The removlists don't speak English, rushed the job, left the chairs behind, had to call the office every step of the way to get the job done. The office escalated to the "Operations Manager" to call me back the next day for feedback, no one ever called. Experts in fake apologies, terrible customer service and zero improvements. There is a reason why their number is listed as "Spam". See the red flags, don't use them.

When you get quoted $320 and they charge you $700, you knows what this company is all about. Absolute rip offs. I'm already paying for their time for 2 hours plus half an hour back to base and not only they were taking their sweet time moving my things around but also, charged me an additional $150 just because the distance from the truck to my apartment is more than 2 seconds away. Also, you pay for two men and you get 1.2, the second one just basically does nothing. I do not recommend this company at all.

Terrible customer service and response. Customer "happiness" manager was incredibly rude and laughed off our concerns after being completely unresponsive. Damaged our furniture, denied everything and misinformed us about the size of the truck we received. Stay away. Edit: $50 compensation is not adequate compensation for our fees and time for an unfinished job for which we had to hire a van the next day and move furniture ourselves after an 11 hour move (within Sydney) with 3 men for a 2 bedroom apartment.

The movers were slow and would carry one tiny item at a time , one would stay at the truck while the other comes in and would grab the littlest items yet take over 10 minutes to come back for more. Was completely rude to myself and partner. One of the guys got in my Partners face for trying to help them get thing out of the truck and lost things in the move. I highly recommend the We Move Sydney. Very professional and helpful. Chris and Luke moved my unit really quickly. Dismantled furniture and white goods, put it all back together at the other end. Made sure to put the furniture and white goods in the right locations in the new unit. Nothing was broken - in fact they managed to do a minor repair on one table that will make it usable again. Don’t waste your time and money with this group. They turned up started complaining that there no parking after I told them them on the phone that park ing was difficult. Then half way through when the lazy rude removal guy realised there were stairs at the drop off, he bailed out because he had a sore back. Unloaded everything and left.
