We had our Portland home painted by Weinmann painting earlier this summer. This was the first "proper" paint job in 20 years and--to say the least--the house was due for a top-to-bottom, first class paint job. We were blown away by the high quality of the work and the professionalism of the crew that painted our house. Having been around the construction business for for decades, one thing that says a lot about the quality of the crew working on a project is what the job site looks like at the end of the day. In this case, every ladder was stacked, every paint chip picked up and every tool was put away and made ready for the next day's work. On top of that the crew showed up 30 minutes early every day and was ready to go to work right at 8:00. We received a text message to let us know they were starting work and a message at the end of the day that the crew was wrapping up. As such, communications during the 3-1/2 week project were excellent and any and all concerns that we had were quickly or thoroughly addressed. The project came in accordance with the agreed to bid and working with Kevin Weinmann throughout the job was a real pleasure. He's a pro! The end result of all the hard work by the Weinmann crew is the best paint job in the neighborhood and a slew of complements from neighbors and passersby. We couldn't be happier with the work performed by Weinmann Painting and recommend them without reservation.

When we needed someone to do a major repair and painting of our stucco house, I did not hesitate to call Weinmann Painting. They had done some previous work for us and they have never disappointed. Kevin, Emma, Lori, Miguel, Jose and the crew were just fantastic to work with. They kept us in the loop every step of the way consulting with us every day so that there were no surprises and making sure things were going along as we wanted. Jose, Miguel and the crew worked hard every day and their hard work was much appreciated. The work involved completing a restoration of the exterior of our house keeping the integrity of the original design and also repairing and painting the interior portion of newly installed windows which the installers had left us to repair. Weinmann completed all of this and the final result left us in awe. The house looks better than it ever has. Weinmann's painstakingly does their job and they are worth every bit what we paid for. They come with our highest recommendation.

We had a great experience with Weinmann Painting. We had much of the exterior woodwork on the front of the house, our front deck and a new covered structure in the back yard sanded/painted/stained. Lori was so helpful setting up the appointments and keeping in contact throughout the project. Kevin came out to assess the house and prepare the quote and gave me some helpful advice and buckets of his time. Estuardo and Miguel did a wonderful job with the painting, sanding and staining and put huge effort into prepping all surfaces first. It was difficult to choose stain colours, as there were different types of wood and different finishes to be stained. Estuardo went out of his way to help us and make it as easy as possible. They left the house and their equipment tidy at the end of each day, which we really appreciated, especially with two young kids. I would wholeheartedly recommend Weinmann painting for your next project and we will be asking them back periodically for more work on our house.

Jorge and his crew from Weinmann Painting finished painting the interior and exterior of our 100 year old home. We are very happy with the results! As with any older home there were discoveries when the crew was prepping the house. They identified problems, promptly reported them to us and worked with other trades who we needed to hire to do exterior repair work. Jorge is extremely professional. He met with us each day and kept us informed of the work he was doing. He never left the site without letting me know the reason. He is focused and responsive. Jorge supervises his crew leading by examples and communicating respectfully them. They team arrived before 8 am and began working on time. At the end of the day the site was always clean. All of the office staff (Kevin, Lori, Chase ) are responsive, communicated clearly and are professional. They are happy to answer questions and be flexible with scheduling. Weinmann Painting is notch! We will work with them again.

We couldn’t be more satisfied by our house paint renovation accomplished by the Weinmann team, from start to finish.  We found Kevin Weinmann to be a reasonable, fair price negotiator, as we studied together what underlying carpentry work needed to take place. Weinmann and his team provided support with patience as we decided what color scheme would best suit our 1911 historic registry home. Under Israel’s leadership, the crew did a skilled and thorough job of carpentry and painting, removing dead unused wires and cables, replacing missing moldings and shingles, meticulously honoring details and idiosyncrasies of our home He informed us each morning of what would be done that day at a time that we could give or take in information. Consumate professionals from day one, from top to bottom! We contracted with Weinmann both for some interior painting projects and the exterior of our home, garage, and fencing. This was a very large project on an old home, requiring a fair amount of surface prep and repair, to wood, windows and stucco. Kevin and Lori know their business inside and out, and they are absolute gems to work with. They were patient with us, flexible and accomodating to us as our needs changed, and warm and communicative throughout the entire project. The crew that worked both projects, led by Poli and his right-hand man, Hector, could not have been more respectful, professional or diligent in their work. Again, gems, and I will insist on finding reasons for them to return! Thank you to everyone at Weinmann for returning our vintage home to looking like, well, an absolute gem!

I highly recommend Weinmann Painting. They were one of the higher bids we received but I am so glad we chose to move forward with them. They were worth a higher end price in so many ways. We had a big project--exterior painting of an old Portland home that was overdue and required lead abatement as part of the prep work, extensive repair of wood siding and then painting including a lot of detail work. The crew led by Israel (who was great to work with) were on time, communicated well and took great care with our home in making sure to do things the right way. We really appreciate the thorough prep job and attention to detail in every phase of the project. I love supporting local, family owned businesses and the Weinmanns do a great job all around. I would use them again for a future project and really can't recommend them highly enough!

We used Weinmann's to paint the exterior of our historic Irvington house. Excellent job!!! I have worked with multiple painters in the past, and Weinmann's was above and beyond the best. From the start, the quoting process was very detailed and transparent, so I knew exactly what they were going to do and what was included. The team was on time everyday and walked me through what to expect for the day. They were clean, efficient, and the project was done very quickly, despite the erratic Oregon fall weather. While not the least expensive option, the quality was extremely high, so I fully anticipate will increase the time needed between paintings. Highly recommended, we will go back for our interior painting in a couple years.

From the very first call to the final walk through there was excellent and timely communication. I experienced them painting my next door neighbor's house last summer and felt the utmost respect for my property which is very close and saw the meticulous work that was done. I hired Weinmann for this reason and am completely happy. Estuardo and Miguel who were assigned to my house were always prompt in the morning to go over the days work and were quiet, hardworking and absolutely meticulous and detailed at their work. Very clean and replaced everything when they were finished exactly where I had it before. Nothing escaped their eye. They clearly have great pride in what they do and do it well.

They are one of the more expensive painters, but you get what you pay for! The painting crew was very professional, detail-oriented, and the crew manager (Jose) was an absolute pleasure to work with. My neighbors all said nice things when the job was complete. The only annoying thing about working with Weinmann is that they are extremely old school and basically only accept checks. Most contractors today can at least send you an invoice via email. Many other trades are even able to accept payment via iPad directly on site. Since you have pay them 2-3 times (deposit, job start, and end) it's pretty tiresome to have to make a bank trip each time so you can hand them a check.

Living in an older home, I called multiple painting companies who couldn't or wouldn't work with lead paint. Weinmann is certified to work with lead paint, provided lots of information, and took every precaution during their prep work to ensure everyone's safety. Miguel and his team did an amazing job with prep - it's the hardest part of exterior painting to do right, and it's crucial to a long-lasting paint job. The entire team communicated with me throughout the process, making sure I was aware of when folks would be coming by, when payment was due, etc. I would enthusiastically recommend Weinmann to anyone, especially owners of older homes.

Weinmann Painting is a first class painting company. They did an excellent job on painting the exterior of our house. Their customer service was outstanding. The crew leader Jorge and his crew (Effer and Pedro) were professional, courteous and hardworking. From the beginning prep work, taking care of dry rot repairs, the painting, the attention to detail and cleaning up each day -- all was excellent. Jorge was great about communicating each day about the work and what would be happening each day. Their price was at the higher end but Weinmann Painting is a top notch company that takes pride in doing a great job. I would highly recommend them!!

Kevin and his crew did an AMAZING job!! We have a 2 story house in the Sellwood area. The house was scraped with no paint chips left on the ground, which is WONDERFUL since we have a garden next to the house. He suggested we extend the trim color to show off the beautiful details of the house. It looks so clean, fresh, and beautiful. We have also had an opportunity to use his crew on our 2 story, 1928 commercial property within the past month. They did GREAT work, from power washing to scraping and painting. Truly disappointing experience. Had the owner come over to look at a possible job. First he was unable to grasp the simple paint job we were looking to do, confusing things over and over again. Then he went on to quote us an astronomically high price (3 times his competitors) naming their "extreme professionalism" as reason. By no means are they 3 times better than all the others. To top things off he wanted to charge the exact same for a whole house job as for a simple window trim job with no clear explanation. All his emails remained erratic. I am glad I did not move forward with them. Be cautious.

Excellent communication, friendly and tidy crew who always showed up on time and finished early. Even our neighbors commented positively (with no encouragement) on how they'd never seen such attention to detail and thorough clean-up. Would definitely recommend to anyone seeking a quality exterior paint job on an older historic house with lots of trim detail and prep work. Owner Kevin Weinmann also took a lot of time to go over the project and had many helpful recommendations that made the job turn out even better than expected. If only all contractors were as easy to work with!

Weinmann Painting just completed a total exterior painting of our home. We were very pleased with every aspect of the work - prep, daily clean-up, repair of dry wrought/damaged wood, and quality of painting. Especially noteworthy was the excellent communication of Estuardo (lead) at the start of each day (he was always here at 8:00am sharp) and at the end of each day. He explained what they were doing and addressed all of my issues/questions. The bid, contract and communication with the owners (Kevin and Lori) was also laudable. We'd highly recommend Weinmann.

We have had Weinmann do several projects at our office. Some large and some small. It is always a pleasure to work with them. Communication is wonderful from the beginning when Kevin comes to talk about the project, pick colors, etc., to Chelsey and Lori in the office working on scheduling and billing, and the teams sent out are quality workers, who respect out building, work well around our staff and everything looks wonderful when it is done. We no longer get bids for painting work but always call Weinmann Painting to complete our projects.

I cannot say enough about this company. They recently painted our 100 year old house, and it looks beautiful. Talk about prep work. It took them over 2 weeks to paint it because they were meticulous. Jose was the lead on our project, and he was like the paint whisperer.... Lori runs the office, and she helped me so much with choosing the paint, and just dealing with my anxiety level about choosing the wrong paint. It was a joy to work with this company. Love them. They are really nice people too. Highly highly recommend.

This is the second time we have used Weinmann Painting for a whole house interior job. From the start, Lori and Kevin were easy to work with and excellent communicators. Lori was especially gracious and accomodating when our schedule took a hit from weather and contractor delays. Weinman Painting did a fabulous job painting all of my kitchen cabinets. The cabinets were 20 years old and in shabby condition. They look fantastic now.
