Horrible customer service I have ever dealt with. I got into line for a teller to cash my check. I would be the third person to be helped next. The guy, who is like a concierge, asked me what I was in line for. I told him that I was here to cash a check. He asked if I had a bank account with Wells Fargo. I said no. I am here to cash a check. He told me to step out of line for the next available banker. I told him I don't want to open an account, I just want to cash my check. He said it's just a cautionary procedure. I'm in business attire clothes going to the bank on my 30 minute lunch. Seriously? Ok. Procedures. I understand. I'll do what you say. I step out of line and I waited for the next banker. Meanwhile, people are coming in and get into line for the next teller. 20 f#€king mins later, I get a banker to verify my $50 check and he makes me go back in line so a f#€king teller can cash my check. I have less than 10 mins left and the line for the teller is now 10 people long. Thanks for ruining my Christmas Wells Fargo. Screw you Wells Fargo to hell and back.
I am extremely disappointed in the service I received from Wells Fargo at this location. Apparently you cannot make CASH deposits into a person's account if you're not on the account unless it is a business account. The cashier explained that it was in an effort to minimize money laundering and that my mother would question where the money was coming from. I explained that she wouldn't question where it was coming from, because she was expecting the payment. The cashier also said she wouldn't be able to verify my identity even though I was in possession of my government issued employment identification in addition to my State of California issued identification. She asked if I had an account with Wells Fargo, I told her I did not, she proceeded to tell me she wouldn't be able to help me. This is ridiculous, I don't know if this is an effort for Wells Fargo to attain more customers. So glad I no longer bank with them, I closed my account in 2016 and will never go back.
I'm not sure who is in charge of overdraft fees and credit cards, but I have had terrible service for the last year that I have had my account with them. I am always on the phone trying to fix another problem with them and it's never-ending. They keep setting up automatic payments before we plan on paying our bills and they keep taking money out of our account when they are not supposed to. It's terrible that Wells Fargo and the Wells Fargo Credit place in charge of all the credit cards do not communicate because whenever I try fixing something with my credit card, nobody seems to have any record at all of what's going on.
Very bad experience !!!! The worst customer service i have ever had in 10 years. A banker made a mistake in opening a safe deposit box for me, so had to open another one. I was charged twice and he was supposed to fix it. It's been a year now and the problem still remains. I had to make another trip to the bank and spoke to the manager explaining the issue and she said she will fix it it. Did she fix it ? of course not..!!!!! I had to close it and see somewhere else. Very disappointing . I won't be dealing with this bank ever !!!!
DISHONST BANKING!!!!!! Do not use Wells Fargo for business banking, they will charge you a lot of hidden fees. Lisa Dahdah and Jesus Ortega sold me Wells Fargo Merchant Services at a rate of 2.2%, the final charges came to 5.5%. I've been in contact with them for 4 months now and they can't provide a statement explaining the extra charges and will not refund them. These are extremely dishonest people! Google search and you'll see I'm not the only one they have scammed.
The banker Christian was sitting in his office doing nothing while I traveled from Pasadena to open a account, I called to let him know I was running a little late to see why he never answered my call. The staff couldn’t care less that I was there and this is most Wells Fargo banks unfortunately. So ultimately decided not to open a account with this lack luster bank!!!!!
I love Wells Fargo. I've had nothing but great experiences there. The facilities are top notch and the employees have been most helpful. I've never had to wait long and the people I've worked with have been more than willing to aid my in any way possible.
Five stars only for the amazing service from Christian. He is very attentive, respectful, patient and follows up on future to do items. You need help from a banker ask for Christian!
