Sales team seem good, but avoid the servicing department at all costs. Over the years I've had many problems dealing with them. Our last car we had serviced there was under warranty, but we reported that we were often unable to unlock it via remote. They tested it and said it was a faulty RFA receiver module and they would replace it on the next service. Next service came and they said it's too late now as the warranty had run out (by a month). I argued, but it fell on deaf ears. I noticed they had charged me to replace the batteries in 2 keys, yet I had only given them one of my keys. When asked, the service manager said it must have been a mistake. I asked another customer there picking up her car if she'd been charged the same thing (charged for 2 key batteries, yet only giving them one key), and she had. I gave them my spare key and requested they replace the battery, as I'd already been charged for it. The mechanic said they don't have any batteries for keys??? They looked around in tool boxes and found a loose battery and replaced the one in my key. Unsurprisingly I still had problems unlocking the car, so later I replaced both key batteries myself and fixed the problem. They also charged me for replacing the brake fluid during the same service. As I have experience in the car industry, the next time I did my own service. When I changed the brake fluid again, I found that the blue coloured fluid that they had put in the reservoir had only been bled into one of the front calipers. The rest were full of cloudy water impregnated original (clear) fluid. Who knows what condition the brake calipers are in now due to corrosion. Recently (against my advice) my son took his car there twice with an ABS brake fault. On both occasions, they said they couldn't find the fault.. He took it to the local tyre dealer, and they immediately found a faulty rear ABS sensor. These are only a few of my own bad experiences there. I suggest you avoid their service department.

Had a great experience at Westernport Holden’s service department. Some context, I normally avoid car dealerships for servicing at all costs. Why? Past experience (at other dealers) for me have been mostly negative. Where I would go in for a routine service and come out hundreds of dollars poorer. As a consequence, I have been using an independent mechanic for the last 6 years and will continue to do so for the foreseeable future. When I found out that my Holden Astra was fitted with a faulty Takata airbag, I rang around a few Holden dealers in Melbourne’s southeast to try to book in the replacement. Long story short, I called 5 other dealers before I called Westernport Holden. 3 of those 5 dealers gave me the run around, kept me on hold for ages, said they would call me back but didn’t. The other two, were honest enough and told me that they had a backlog of airbag replacements booked in and wouldn’t be able to service my car for a few weeks. When I called Westernport Holden, I was greeted by a friendly but no nonsense guy, who booked my car in for the following week. When I went to the dealer this morning, they swapped out the airbag within 20 minutes and I was on my way within half an hour. I don’t want to say too much but I do know that some dealers, can cop a bad rep for trying to sell you things that you question. But you won’t get that pressure here. These guys were nothing but professional and efficient. I’m not in the market for a new car, but in the event I decide to move in on the VXR, I’ll definitely be ringing these guys first. From the time I called Westernport Holden enquiring about a car to actually purchasing it I was treated with interegity and professionalism. I was so confident I was going to purchase from Ryan that I travelled from the Western suburbs by public transport to Hastings. All the staff were very pleasant and made me feel welcome . Although the original car didn't suit my needs I found a perfect car that also pleased my family. Both Ryan and Damien the Manager did their upmost best to accomodate my budget and peace of mind with a premium warranty and roadside assistance. The cherry on the cake was the loan car they organised and chocolate Easter eggs for my kids for the way home! I have no hesitations in recommending this car yard. There's no pressure to purchase and definitely lots of assistance to meet your needs for whatever car you require plus the added security of purchasing from a reputable company like Tony White .

In this era of Covid lockdowns I have just bought a car from Westernport Holden, online, sight unseen. This was a difficult challenge for me as I consider myself a fussy buyer and I’d never bought like this before. However, now that the car has been delivered to my driveway I couldn’t be happier. I made many phone calls, asked endless questions and Mike made every effort to describe the car honestly with lots of photos. The car was 14 years old and one expected a few flaws but Mike showed them to me and had extra detailing and mechanical checks performed. Eventually I plucked up the courage and took the risk to buy. My anxiety was totally unwarranted in that the car was even better than I expected. The price was very fair and I am totally satisfied with the purchase. All credit to Mike for the integrity with which he conducted business. I do not hestitate to recommend Mike and Westernport Holden.

With a 3rd grandchild on the way, my wife and I went to look at a Trax that was on CarSales at this dealer. When we arrived, it was clear the Trax was not suitable. In steps Ryan. He listened to what we needed, understood what we needed, and suggested the Captiva. Ryan was genuinely excited to show us the features of the vehicle. He wasn't just reciting the brochure, he knew the car, and he liked the car, and it was obvious. Running through the finance was the most detailed explanation I had ever had, even from a bank. All the catches, fees, charges, clauses and options were clearly presented so that I could make the right decision based on the information at hand. The most relaxed, unpressured, professional sale I've ever gone through for a car. I would definitely recommend friends and family to this dealer, and to Ryan in particular.

Picked up my new VF Series 2 SSV Redline this morning from Ryan @ Westernport Holden. A huge thanks to Ryan for being patient why I decided on which model I was going to choose and for getting me into my dream car as quickly as he could. You will not be disappointed in taking the time to drive down to Hastings and visit Ryan and the rest of the team, always professional, patient and understanding. When you are making, what for most is the second biggest purchase in your life, you want to be dealing with someone who is a professional and will not pressure you. Can highly recommend speaking to Ryan about a new car purchase, was an excellent experience and a dealer who I would highly recommend. Well done Ryan!!!

Not knowing a lot about cars they helped me understand the differences between the cars and actually listened to what i wanted. Back for a Logbook service last week, even with all the Covid stuff going on, I was able to keep my SS Wagon on schedule for its service as i am an essential worker...car and office were pristine clean with all protocols in place. Great professional service without any pressure to do things not required....and that's a refreshing change from other places. Even helped me out to get my car from them to Tyrepower for new tyres same day without me having to lift a finger. Highly Recommend Peter and his team.

Westernport Holden is fantastic. I dealt with Mike over the phone to purchase our XF Jaguar his knowledge of cars was fantastic. I travelled down to Melbourne from Newcastle and Mike met me at the airport. We then travelled to Westernport Holden where the XF was waiting in pristine conditions. Good guys to deal with. I was an interstate buyer of a secondhand vehicle. I had some initial reservations, but Des's no-pressure approach put me at ease and I went thru with the trade in and sale. When they couldn't source a replacement item for the vehicle in time for my departure, they were happy for me to get it done back home and reimbursed the cost in quick time. For this I was very appreciative. Would recommend them.

10/10 experience. We dealt with both Damian and Mick for the transaction of the vehicle we purchased from them. On the day of pick up Damian spent the time showing as all the little tricks with the car and it was presented brilliantly on pick up. Overall cannot recommend enough. Had my car in there for a service couple of years ago and Repair but finish the job after all that I didn’t clean the car or wash it for me which a lot of dealerships do. I did not feel like a value customer and the manager told me to wash it my self The Guys I did not have the time to do it
