Poor customer service, the owner of the shop is a lovely guy, but the red haired chap by the name of Ash I would not trust. My girlfriend went in to get a bike assembly quote on the 22/08/23 and was quoted £75 to which she was surprised at, as when getting other quotes it was between £35 and £50. A few weeks later (4/09/23) she took the bike in and the owner of the shop said it would be £45….. a bit suspect in my opinion. Clearly going to pocket the extra £30. Today I had an issue with the bike to which Ash said he would have noticed any issues, and that the bike Would not of left the shop like this, saying someone must of tried to steal it!!! Not the case as it’s locked up in an allocated bike store in the block of flats I live in. He got very agitated when I called him out on the above and said I was being aggressive and asked me to leave the shop to which he pushed me in the chest, I did not retaliate, just said my bit, which were strong words I admit, to which he then went to pick up a hammer from behind his working desk and put it behind his back, clearly trying to threaten me, he asked me to leave again In which I did and on leaving the premises he pushed me again. I said my bit and left. This will all be on camera and I hope the owner of the shop sees this, and deals with this accordingly.

Bought a pair of toddler boots while in the area, went home to find the security tag not removed. Was such an effort to get back to the shop, finally got there to be told sorry no returns. Only wanted a swap, was actually needing to purchase a bike, lost our business when it could have been resolved by an exchange. Wouldn’t have needed to return it if they had provided me with an item that can be used! In response to your reply, we bought this item for my son to use that night. We live outside the area and was in West Ealing to visiting family. We get home only to be disappointed that we couldn’t use the boots, your colleague suggested I should have tried to remove the security tag myself. I wasn’t prepared to damage the item trying to remove the tag, not something I’m used to have to do! Bought from you out of good will only to be put out, having young children and like yourself a business to run, I’m sure you would understand the inconvenience caused. All the shoes you have on display are discontinued and were so when we bought them from you. Would have taken any item you had available instead so I’m sure no financial loss, I’m sure out of good faith rather than policy, you would have had another satisfied customer.

Wow Stopped in the shop a couple of months ago and spoke to MANSUE about my plans to visit France & ride through to Spain on my bike. His knowledge and understanding was immense, he promptly advised me and kitted my bike out with all I needed, he put in a full service and got all spares I would possibly need for such a trip, my bike rides like a dream now. All done promptly in an hour or so. What a nice chap & totally trustworthy, so much so my friend who now want to come with me got a bike so I took that there to MANSUE to work his magic on, we got the same result and he even sorted out a problem with a faulty gear change he identified & we was not aware of. The costs were surprisingly low, Mansue and his team were so quick & accommodating not to mention so nice to chat to... Thank you so much, I will never go anywhere else from now on. As a retail manager myself I could not speak more highly of Mansue and his outlet. Five star plus Thank you. Paul

I purchased a back rack along with a bag from this bike shop. Unfortunately, six weeks later, the left part of the back rack was broken, and the Velcro that's supposed to stabilize bags on the rack stopped working. Disappointed, I returned to the shop seeking assistance. To my surprise, I was informed that the issues were entirely our fault and attributed to misuse. This is despite the fact that the bike shop had initially helped install the rack and secure the bags onto it, and we hadn't made any changes or alterations. Dealing with the customer service on this matter has been a nightmare. It's disheartening when a problem that clearly arose from a product's quality is dismissed as user error. Given this experience, I would recommend considering alternative options when deciding where to spend your money.

Bike service at its best! Brought couple of bikes in the early morning, one for the full service, the other one for a basic check-up. Got a message the same day in the afternoon that bikes are ready for a pick up. First thought, really quick for the type of service required and hoping the job was done properly. Both bikes literally looked almost new, deep cleaned, with all required parts replaced, full adjustments made and thorough servicing completed. It has now been a full week of every day riding on both and no issues whatsoever, in fact they run as smooth or even smother then new! Highly recommend this place for bike repairs and the professional service it provides!

Having read the existing reviews after recently moving the area, I’ve been to Finish Line bike shop twice recently in the last 2 months. One to help with my daughters bike and the gentleman who owns/runs this place was absolutely great. He helped advise on what’s best for my daughter rather than trying to sell items for the sake of it, so a month later we returned and encouraged to buy a scooter for our daughter. Again, he made the recommendations and it was a great choice. Thank you so much!

Came in with a broken spoke. It was just before closing but early morning next day my bike was as good as new. Additionally my gears were indexed, hidden slow puncure taken care of and brakes slightly adjusted. All this, after a disaster of a service I encountered in city centre NipNip I made a mistake of going to as was near work. Here at Wheelpower on top of the professional service a very friendly attitude deserving 5 stars. Thx guys, my 14-miles-one-way commute is pleasant again ;)

No Refunds! I bought a bike here only to get it home and realise the seat post was broken and was stuck in the frame. I brought it back only to be told they do not do refunds. They told me they could fix it, and failed to. They then had the audacity to offer me £30 to buy the bike back! I try to support local bike shops so am very disappointed and should have read the other reviews. Bike pictured.

Went in unannounced with one of those bike crises under time pressure and they couldn’t have been more helpful. Friendly, knowledgable, pragmatic and very efficient in dealing with the problem. I’m reasonably handy with a bike but these guys really know what they’re doing. If you’re in a tight spot or you just need a bit of standard maintenance, don’t hesitate.

‏This shop is not good at all, very expensive And the goods are not good at all I recommend not doing the repairs at all. First, it takes several weeks and then he asks for a very high amount, which is not fair at all. I advise you not to make a purchase at all because you will suffer and lose a lot like me.

I have a belt drive bike, the rear wheel needed a rebuild. It is a time consuming task even with standard components (which they were not) and O'Neill and his team worked on it, persevered and explained what was going on throughout the job. Friendly and helpful says it best.

I got here the best thing I could have bought in 2020, a push-scooter that has kept me healthy, happy and in shape. So happy I got it here instead of online. Service was great, they also sell bikes and service them. Let's support the local businesses!

Went in to ask for help.I lost some bolts from a break disc and had one hanging out blocking my rear wheel.All I needed was an ellen key for less than 1 minute to remove the loose bolt so the wheel would turn again.Even considered asking

Super fast & reasonably priced services. I had a puncture and they not only fixed it but also advised for Shwallaby tires which they fitted in no time on my second visit. I really recommend these guys over any big chain shops.

I went there with my broken bike and the service was super friendly. They were not able to order a special part for my bike and ended up offering the diagnostic service for free so I could take it somewhere else to fix it.
