I cannot adequately express my gratitude towards Dr. Lieberman and every Vet Tech and associate I spoke with at Wicker Park vet. I had recently found out that my cat Corduroy had end stage renal cancer after a very emotional visit to an Emergency Vet. I brought Corduroy in as a new patient to this practice to seek the guidance from a Vet for how to handle his palliative care and end of life decisions. At my first visit, Dr. Lieberman treated us with such kindness, compassion and patience. It was clear she had already reviewed all his blood work and scans and the report I had sent from our ER visit. She walked us through every outcome and option, it took the weight of everything off my shoulders and gave me the confidence to enjoy my final days with my boy. Sadly, he only made it 2 more days and we brought him back to say goodbye. The clinic made time on their busy Saturday to accommodate this, and treated us like family. They didn't rush any part of the process and let us have time in our private room to say goodbye and cry. Everyone was so compassionate at the end of our visit, the entire team knew just what to say to help us feel better and confident about such a horrible decision to have to make. It is hard to decide if you should say goodbye with an in home visit or by going into the vet office, but I am so grateful we made the decision to go to the office. There was so much love and support that made all the difference in the world to us. I will absolutely be bringing my other senior kitty and future new kitty to Dr. Lieberman for preventative care and annual visits. This has been the most positive experience with a vet I've ever had, despite the sad circumstances. Thank you to everyone at Wicker Park Vet for all of your help and support. You are amazing people.

While the level of competence and care of the vets was great, I made a (huge) mistake in using one of their front desk employees as a pet sitter, which I won’t ever do it again. I trusted this individual because she worked in my vets office and told me she provided this service for several others, but after some concern over her possibly not showing up every day to feed cats, I set up cameras around my home. Oh my!!!! What I caught on camera was in fact extremely disturbing. Using my shower (no she was not staying overnight, simply once a day pet visit to feed and scoop boxes), wearing her towel (thank the lord she AT LEAST brought her own…yuck!) around while drinking beer. Yeah, completely unprofessional. But the biggest issue was that she was not showing up daily though she was getting PAID! to do so…so basically stealing!! Definitely unacceptable. Since this someone works in a vets office I would’ve expected a higher respect for animals but allowing them to go hungry is not okay. Even worse, I have an automatic dry food feeder so I could’ve been feeding that way if she had just informed me she wouldn’t be visiting every day. Shameful. Looking back there were obvious clues (like she was no longer friendly or engaging when I went in for appointments or to pick up food and now I know why). Though I learned a lesson, it’s terrible that it had to come at the expense of losing a great vet. Just could not stand the thought of being in this disrespectful person’s presence and trusting I wouldn’t say something to her at her job which would have been wrong on my part. So instead I waited a few years and posted it online for the world to see. Oh well! Hopefully if others are using this person’s pet sitting services they’ll take more precautions.

Around seven years ago one of my male cats was having trouble urinating, I did a quick search for vets in my area and found WPVC. Dr. Cohen was extremely straightforward, gave optional paths for care, and was very loving to Bo. A few years passed and my older male cat Chase started losing weight and having all the signs for diabetes. Dr. Mullin was assigned to Chase and we are truly blessed to have her. I have seen this doctor literally run to me and grab Chase while he is having a hypoglycemia episode. Dr. Mullin has spent her time researching and contacting specialist just to better assist Chase. Her calming voice, and professional demeanor is above par. She is a superhero. The staff who sit behind the desk are fantastic, they're extremely knowledgeable and friendly. I can be hard to please and I am overprotective of my cats. I can say with my heart of hearts I have had zero issues at Wicker Park Vet Clinic. Chase met the end of the road and we arranged to bring him in to see Doctor Mullin for his final visit. The staff all came in to give us their condolences and tell us how much they will miss Chase visiting. It was a very sad evening, we are so thankful to have this clinic to depend on. Thank for being our vet clinic.

I wish I could give Wicker Park Vet more than 5 stars! After adopting my first dog and having a very poor experience with my first vet I did some research and found Wicker Park Veterinary Clinic, I brought my dog in for his annual check up and shots and could not have been more impressed with the level of care he received and the staff's willingness to go above and beyond to make sure I was informed on all levels. Our first visit was during the height of covid in 2020 so I had to stay in the car while he received his vaccines, the vet called shortly after dropoff to make sure I knew exactly what they were doing and then spent 20 mins after his visit explaining her recommendations and making sure that all of my questions were answered. I was so impressed and happy to have found a new vet! Just recently my dog had a bad break in his nail near the base of the nail and he seemed to be in quite a bit of pain, I called the clinic in the morning and they got him scheduled for a same day appointment and resolved the issue. I again cannot rave enough about how grateful am to have found this veterinary clinic and can rest assured that my dog will always receive the very best care. Wow just wow. Read the entire review!!!! I’d give zero stars if I could. A month ago I was running late for a vet apt for my cat that had a UTI. There was insane traffic due to construction. I called and they said I had a 15 minute grace period I arrived 1 minute before and when the front desk person went and spoke to the doctor they said I need to reschedule. And may I say the front desk is very cold when speaking to clients. Just very rude . They should have never said there was a grace period of that isn’t true. I left and went to another vet immediately and Eventually wrote a bad review of the experience. HERES the kicker. I called a month later for my other pet for a teeth cleaning since she has been there before. They scheduled it which when i called to ask questions it was scheduled wrong. Incompetence again. It was a check up not a cleaning. They were going to call me back and when they did, I (and all 3 of my pets) was BLACK LISTED from going back ever BECAUSE I left a bad review about the staff being inefficient. So now all 3 lost their ability to come back. Be aware that you will be “punished” for sharing your thoughts on a review.

I would give them more stars if I could. I have had only positive experiences taking my cat here and highly recommend! Getting an appointment has never been a problem for me, and “sick” visits have been available the same or next day (once it was with a different doc than usual, but she was great too). Doctors are knowledgeable and provide thorough advice, in addition to diagnoses and treatments. My cat requires a prescription food and picking that up has been very easy. Even when it’s out of stock, they seem to get it in quickly. As far as their COVID response, I couldn’t be more impressed. It’s as close to no contact as you can get. When you arrive, you just park your car in their lot (never been a space issue for me) and give them a call. You explain to the vet tech what’s going on with your pet. Then they meet you at the front door to take your pet inside and you relax in your car. You never have to enter the building! When they’re done, the vet calls you and fills you in on everything, let’s you ask questions, etc. You pay over the phone, then head back to the door to pick your pet up!

I initially came to Wicker Park Vet in late 2018 for a second opinion. I completely trusted Dr. Mullin with my senior dog's care. Their pricing is quite reasonable. Last October, my dog was unable to walk or eat. I was told it was time to put him down. They couldn't guarantee availability for in-home euthanasia, so I scheduled with Compassionate Veterinary Hospice. During his home visit, the vet suggested some medication changes before resorting to euthanasia. It's now January, and my dog is still alive, eating well, and getting around better than he has in years. Hospice continues to oversee his care. I enjoyed my time with Wicker Park Vet, but I think they should consider referring out for senior/end-of-life care for pets. I regret never having asked about pain management for my 15 year old dog, and a bit frustrated that the vet never suggested it. Adequan injections for arthritis saved my dog's life. I'm so glad I didn't put my dog down in October. I know his time is limited, but I've been so grateful for every extra day I have with him.

Dr. Darcy is the best! So personable, compassionate and has a great bedside manner. I took Princess in for her first annual after being feral for years. Princess is a mid-aged short hair, Grey Tabby. She had a rough life outside. One day I got off work very late (11pm) and seen this grey animal approaching me. As I live in the city, I had to park my car 2-3 blocks away from my home. Princess followed me all the way to my door. It was at that point that I fell in love with this beauty. At our visit, Dr. Darcy was knowledgeable, very friendly and had a gentle approach with Princess. Her assistant, Leslie was a sweetheart and assisted Dr. Darcy with such love and compassion. As today is my birthday, I braced for bad news, but Dr. Darcy was so encouraging and just amazing! Although Princess and I have to wait for her blood work results, I am very confident that Dr. Darcy will get my beautiful fur baby back to good health. I will never switch to another Veterinarian. Dr Darcy and her assistant were just amazing! Thank you so much for everything!

I literally could not have had a more positive and happy experience with Wicker Park Veterinary Clinic. I've tried for a few years to find a vet that I could take my Vizsla Sasha too on a regular basis, but I found the service at other clinics to be either lacking or kind of cold, and the prices for things here are so reasonable! I took Sasha in to get her Vaccinations for the year, a booster, and get a teeth cleaning and from the minute I walked in the door I felt like she would be loved there! The vet tech and veterinarian got down on the floor and played with her and gave her treats to make her less nervous since she's such a baby about going to the vet, and they got her tail wagging and out of her shell in no time. Her vaccinations were well priced, and the process to book her teeth cleaning was easy too. Her cleaning looks amazing and they even clipped her nails without charging me while she was under anesthesia! I honestly will never got anywhere else in the city with my baby again. These guys are the best of the best. <3

Unfortunately had to move my dog out of their care, they were great at the beginning, but seem to have difficulties with appropriate staffing or moving appointments but would get upset when it unfortunately didn’t work out for the dogs owner time frame. Additionally, I don’t think they liked that I took my dog to get neutered elsewhere but when I asked to schedule a post operative follow up to ensure his incision was healing properly was told they couldn’t do it. Really? I’m not asking you do anything but examine him and make sure he is okay. It’s not like I was asking you to do it for free or anything. Just wild. To turn down care to an animal because you didn’t get to bill the entire service (which I am sure is a real money maker for them) is ridiculous and incredibly self serving. Not great for emergencies, staff not that great and was very condescending in my conversations with them. Outside of a normal vaccine I would never recommend them for anything else.

My dog got bit in our neighborhood by another dog, and I was searching for a place where I could take him quickly to be evaluated. It was a minor bite, so emergency vet services were not going to be required. I’m new to the neighborhood and called Wicker Park Veterinary Clinic to see if they would be able to evaluate my pup. After explaining the situation, the person who answered said “if you aren’t a patient here, we’re booking 2 weeks out.” No compassion for the situation, no attempts to help, nothing. “Is your dog okay” was not uttered once. After an Uber ride and quick call to West Loop Vet (I can’t say enough great things about them) my boy’s usual staff were able to get him in and treat him. The lack of empathy at Wicker Park Veterinary Clinic is astounding. While I was considering switching vets to have one closer to my new home, I’ve decided I’ll gladly make the trip back to west loop to be treated with care.

Love this office and everyone who works here. I moved out of state for 8 years and when I moved back I brought my dogs back here because it was familiar and I'm so glad I did. Dr Mowry is an outstanding doctor. During our first visit she was so patient and thorough with my three dogs. She had clearly read all three of their histories and recalled reading things from their transferred vet records as she examined them. She is incredibly knowledgeable and was great at solving some ongoing issues I've had with my dogs and educating me on them. The vet techs and assistants are equally great. The front desk team is amazing as well. They are incredibly helpful and patient with me when I bring my herd of three dogs in and we are causing pure chaos. I've already gone back multiple times for follow-ups and the level of quality of this clinic is consistently amazing.

I switched to Wicker Park Veterinary Clinic from another local clinic because this is close to my house and I wasn't blown away by my other vet. Let me say, I don't care if I move across Chicago, I will be coming back here. Receptionist was super sweet and greeted me right away. Complimentary tea in the waiting room. Sam, the technician/nurse, was really helpful, polite, and knowledgable. Dr. Oh was so thorough and understanding and compassionate. I can tell he is a really smart and talented doctor. He clearly explained his diagnosis and gave me all my options. He even consulted with another doctor in the clinic to confirm his diagnosis. There was no attempt to "sell" me anything. The price was fair and transparent. I'm so relived to finally have found a vet that I trust. THANK YOU WPVC!

Just recently, we had an emergency for our little Yorkie who was very unwell and we took him to Wicker Park Vet based on our neighbor's referral. When I called them the front desk staff was very helpful and gave us an appointment for the same day, we met Dr.Oh who was the best vet we have ever met!!! He diagnosed our baby accurately and told us exactly what was wrong with him and gave us all our options. He is extremely caring and even followed up on us to check how our little guy was doing. He was extremely patient, understood the our concerns and provided the best care possible to our little guy! We highly recommend this clinic and definitely it is our new place where we would go to for any of our pet's veterinary care. Thank you Dr. Oh and staff for the amazing experience!

So this vet turned us away because our dog was healthy the last 3 years and mind you we have been going to them for many years. So because we didn't make any appointments in those 3 years when we did need to be seen today they turned us away. The reason they gave us was that since we haven't been there in 3 years we have now been classified as New patients and they are not taking new patients and we need to go to another vet. This is how they treat long time customers and they are just bothered that they didn't get a chance to charge us in those 3 yrs for anything. Be happy that my dog is healthy and not that he wasn't sick and you couldn't get money from us. Could you imagine if you went to your physician and he turns you away because you were healthy the last 3 years.

These guys are just wonderful. Dr. Cohen is great with my cat and has always been open and honest with me. Everyone here truly cares about my animal and doesn't try to "upsell" you on other services while you're there. I trust them to tell me what is necessary for my cat to live happily and healthily and not take advantage of me. I've been other places and felt that they only care about getting me to do the next procedure or treatment for the money. I feel as if they truly want me to make the best decision for my animal. Dr. Cohen even lives in the area (I see him walking around occasionally I'm not a stalker) so I know he cares about our community. The nurses are very nice as well and have always been very helpful. I will be going here for many years to come!

When my dog needed a follow up appointment after a chocolate-related emergency room visit, they were the first vet office who made time for a new client day of. My dog was very nervous, and the entire staff was very sweet to him, even sitting on the floor while checking his vitals so he could hide in the corner. I was there for a specific reason, but they gave him a thorough checkup anyway and caught an ear infection before it got too bad. I felt like they spent a lot of time with us really making sure I understood everything and felt safe after the emergency room scare. They even called the next day to follow up and make sure he was still doing well. Great visit, great staff, they’re definitely now our regular vet.

I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Cohen and Wicker Park Vet Clinic. They are kind, the focus is on your animal and not upselling to you, and they give the highest form of care to your animals. I followed Dr. Cohen from another vet, and all in all I can happily say he's been our "family" vet for about 7 to 8 years. I feel comfortable with him, knowing my pets are in good hands. As for the staff, they are kind, professional, understanding, sympathetic, and caring. They really do care about you and your animals, and you can tell. For sure go to Wicker Park Vet Clinic and see professionalism and empathy for yourself from the entire team. You'll be glad you do. PS: Free parking!

I loved everything about my first visit to the Wicker Park Veterinary Clinic. Everybody was super friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and pet lovers. My puppy received all the attention and love from the front desk team, the assistants and the doctor. They explained everything they were doing, told me what to expect next and answered all my questions. There is a free parking for customers if you need. I went to a VCA hospital before coming here and I can’t even compare - here, I felt safe, comfortable and they made me feel like my puppy was as special to them as she is to me. I recommend this place and I’ll be back anytime I need assistance with my dog.

She has many friends who currently take their animals here. We took our 2 year old rescue here and we could not have been more pleased. The folks who work here were so friendly and welcoming and Dr. Mowry was full of knowledge and very helpful and kind to our sweet dog. I would highly recommend taking your animals here!

We LOVE Wicker Park Veterinary Clinic! We switched when we moved - it’s always nerve wracking when you know you have to search for and find another team of people to care for your fur babies...but WPVC has been wonderful since the first time we even called to make an appointment! The entire staff really care about each pet that comes in, their service is lightning fast and efficient whether you’re in the office, calling or querying via email. Their fees are also more than reasonable, which is a huge plus in a big city! We will be lifelong customers! Thank you for always taking such wonderful care of your customers and their pets!

The staff and vet were able to attend to our emergency with our chihuahua. They were professional and very compassionate to our concerns. The dog was handled with great care to minimize her pain. After the exam the vet provided us with the truth and follow-up options. Unfortunately we received bad news about the true nature of her condition. We opted to bring her home to spend the time that is left with her. She provided pain medication and antibiotics to make her more comfortable. We are truly grateful for their compassionate service and highly recommend this facility. We will be back with our future pet for her healthcare too.

Excellent experience with Wicker Park Vet over the many years and many doctors my dog Stella and I have seen for regular annual appointments and quite a few sick or emergency visits. All of the staff from making appointments, to checking in, and the vet techs have been great with my giant scaredy-cat dog. I've also always been able to get in, even on weekends or for a same-day sick / emergency visit for an appointment and have even been given cell phone numbers so I can call if I have an after hours concern. Very happy with our choice of Wicker Park Vet and have stayed with them through several moves around the city.

My dog Piper had a rapid onset of periodontal disease and needed oral surgery right away. I'm new to Chicago and Wicker Park Veterinary Clinic was kind, welcoming and amazing to work with. Her oral surgery estimate was very high at other clinics and they offered me a competitive price estimate. The amazing part was that the final price was on the low end of the estimate! My dog needed 17 teeth removed, and the Vet called me during her surgery and let me know exactly what was going to be done and updated me on how she was doing. I was very impressed and will be using this clinic from now on.

Dr. Jake and his staff are top notch. you can tell how genuine and compassionate everyone is about the health of your pet, no matter how crazy they can be. I've had some potentially troubling situations come up (our dog likes to swallow toys or eat his own bed) and Dr. Jake has responded quickly late in the evenings or even on holidays. Facilities are spotless and there is a free parking lot, though it does only offer a few spots. Prices are very reasonable, and I never get the feeling that they are trying to push any sort of service or treatment on you. highly recommended.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about the friendly and accommodating staff at Wicker Park Veterinary Clinic. I strongly trust Dr. Cohen's opinion--he is professional, trustworthy, thorough, and transparent about costs. I never feel as though I'm being up-sold on services, and instead, I get a sense that Wicker Park Veterinary Clinic truly cares about my yorkie, Stella. Furthermore, I find appointment times can be somewhat flexible (especially important for someone working regular full-time hours) and most definitely easy to come by. What more could you want in a vet?

I don't often leave reviews but just wanted to say how much I love Wicker Park Vet. My dog is always so excited to go there, even when she isn't feeling well. My dog has been to three different vets within the practice all of which I have liked. They are great at getting you in last minute and answering questions over the phone. The staff and techs here - those working the front desk, the phones, and checking out your dog before the vet - are all so great. They also have parking and reasonable prices. I always feel that my dog's health is in good hands here.

I cannot say enough good things about this vet and everyone who works here. They welcomed us and our dog with so much care, it feels like we’ve been coming here for years. Dr. Shortridge is so attentive and knowledgeable, and makes you feel comfortable to ask as many questions about your pets care as you want. I did not feel rushed or pressured into making decisions in the spur of the moment like I have at other vets in the past. The pricing here is very reasonable as well. I highly recommend Wicker Park Veterinary Clinic and will be coming back!

I have nothing but great things to say about Wicker Park Veterinary Clinic! I've been taking my 2.5 year old Bernese Mountain Dog to this vet since I got him when he was 12 weeks old. Dr. Cohen and his staff have always been so friendly and helpful, whether it's for a routine visit, or something more unexpected. Dr. Cohen always gives me ALL the facts that I need when it comes to my furry man, and I always feel more than comfortable that my sweet guy is in his capable hands. I've been recommending this place to all of my friends!

You can FEEL the love and care the doctors and staff have for every animal that walks in there. We were getting wishy washy answers with our previous vet and decided to move our dog over to Wicker Park Vet. Our Olde English Bulldog recently beat a bad case of pneumonia that our previous vet kind of glossed over as an allergy... Since then she has been seeing Dr Cohen who has been very thorough with her, offering several alternatives and really considering our best options. Great care, very reasonably priced, Amazing staff.

Unfortunately, I'm afraid WPVC may have grown too quickly for it's own good. I used to love this vet, but recently I've had a number of bad experiences. Vet techs not knowing if my dog has finished his scheduled medications, long wait times in front of their offices trying to get a hold of anyone to let my dog in for a scheduled appointment, treatments that don't seem to solve the ailment, just a poor experience overall. It's a bummer, but I'll likely be looking for a new vet for my dog pretty soon if things don't improve.

Such a wonderful office full of kind and compassionate people! Just a good vibe AND they have an office cat! Dr. Suzuki was super sensitive to my dog's social anxiety and was incredibly patient and calming for him. She also fully respected my intention only to medicate his anxiety via natural supplements, and even recommended a specific CBD brand. No pressure to put him on anxiety meds. Loved them!!! Prices were also better than our previous vet and his annual vaccines we're about $100 cheaper than we were used to. WIN!

LOVE, Dr. Mowry. Hands down, best experience I’ve ever had with a vet or even any doctor for that matter. She’s understanding, compassionate, makes informed and intelligent decisions that don’t always require an in person visit. And my dog is not nervous at all in this clinic. She’s not always a fan of procedures, like any dog, but there’s no fear when we head there or are waiting in the lobby like she has had at previous vet clinics. It’s an overall relaxed and calming experience (for me too... haha). Highly recommend.

We have a COVID adoptee, so we've had the strange experience of becoming clients without stepping foot inside. I'm really pleased with their safety protocols. They also make drop off/pickup very convenient with their procedures and parking lot. The follow up has also been thoughtful - emails and calls to check on our dog after a visit. Dr. Cunz has an excellent rapport with him. She makes us believe he is her favorite patient. She explains everything really clearly to us, and I know he's getting great care.

I love this clinic! I brought my newly adopted Mini Bull Terrier, Frankie, a few weeks ago for a routine exam and to talk about some behavioral issues. Dr. Mullen and her tech are awesome. Dr. Mullen is very thorough and she price matched Frankie's Heartgard and Nexgard for me. The front desk staff is extremely friendly and calls you by name. The clinic itself is very clean and inviting and they offer plenty of free parking. Overall I am very happy with my experience and would recommend over and over again!

I recently adopted a new cat and wanted to switch vets as I had a horrific experience at previous vet clinic. I’d heard excellent reviews from friends, and all I can say is wow. I brought my little guy in as he was a bit sleepier than he had been, and they were able to run blood work in house, actually had time to answer my questions, and helped quell any anxiety I had. The front desk even called a day later to check in and see how he was doing. Highly recommend if you are looking for a vet in the area.

We have had pets in our lives ever since we were small. Have also had experiences with many different vets as a result. Wicker Park Veterinary Clinic is far superior, in our opinion, to all of the others we have tried. The staff is professional, cheerful, and helpful. They are also very prompt in keeping their appointment times. If your pet has an issue - it is fully explained and the possible treatment is discussed. We would certainly recommend Dr. Cohen to any pet owner without hesitation.

Had a wonderful first puppy visit at Wicker Park Vet. Everyone from the person on the phone (Tom), to the tech bringing my dog back (Jessica), and the vet herself (Dr. Darcy) were so kind! Even though the visit was curbside, the vet took so much time and care with me and my new puppy. She was thorough and did not rush me through my many questions when we spoke on the phone! She even sent an email after our conversation with more resources. Winnie and I will definitely be back to this vet!

I've always had good experiences here. The staff is courteous and professional and the vets always take time to answer my questions. One time I had my cat in my car and he made a huge mess all over himself in his carrier and would not allow me to clean him up. I called Wicker Park Vet Clinic to ask if they could give me some sedatives to calm him down. They had me bring him in, saw me right away and cleaned him up, free of charge! They really helped me out in a stressful situation.

Dr. Mullin is the best. Extremely thorough, kind, and calm, which really helps my anxious beagle get what needs to be done, done! She addresses every concern and makes my dog (and me!) feel at ease. She is a wonderful doctor and I can’t thank her enough for the great care she takes for my baby girl. Trisha (vet tech) was similarly awesome, and the front desk staff is always very kind, prompt, and detailed. This clinic is great and I’m thankful for them. Thank you Wicker Park Vet!

Can't say enough good things about all of the vets and the staff. Our Chopper was a patient for over 4/5 years and this was by far the best vet that ever treated him. I wish I would have found them sooner. They are reasonable and never take advantage of the love you have for your pets. They are also compassionate and gentle when/if you have to make a difficult decision. I will never forget how wonderful everyone here treated me and my dog from the beginning until the bitter end.

I've tried a few different veterinarian offices in Chicago and found a solid relationship with the Wicker Park Veterinary Clinic. I know my cats are genuinely cared about there, and the staff is very friendly and informative! Dr. Mullin remembers my cats' stories when I come in and that makes me feel at ease. I appreciate the fact that she lays out options very clearly and explains all that is happening with them and why. They're happier & healthier little dudes because of it!

I had my first visit here today, and would highly recommend them. The staff are very knowledgeable and accommodating. The Dr. was considerate and attentive to answer any questions I had. The convenient parking is a plus! I was having issues with my carrier, and my cat managed to open the door and get out while I was loading her back in the car. I'm grateful for the kind clients and staff members who saw this, and helped me wrangle her and secure her back in the cage.

Dr. Cohen and his staff were great with our dog and she was always excited to be at his office! During our first visit Dr. Cohen gave us a full tour of his office, which was unexpected but wonderful to see. We never waited long, the office was always clean, and the free parking lot was very convenient. We had switched from the Elston Banfield after WPVC opened and the quality of care was so much better here. I would definitely recommend Wicker Park Veterinary Clinic!

Dr Cohen is the best! he took such great care of our frenchie Duncan. Duncan has had allergies for a little over a year and we've been taking him to see Dr. Cohen ever since he was a puppy. Dr. Cohen seems to really care for him which is what kept us coming back, as well as Duncan's allergies have shown great improvement! The only reason we stopped coming to WPV is because we recently moved to Florida. You can 100% trust Dr. Cohen and the staff with your dogs!

We love Dr.Cohen and his staff! We have taken our 2 toy poodles there for over 5 years. The care has always been exceptional, the staff super sweet and funny with our boys and Dr.Cohen is thorough, patient and always provides options for what we should consider doing now vs. what we can expect later, and they always follow-up with a call the next day. We have referred several friends here and all have been equally happy to have found them. Highly recommended!

I’ve had experience with a few different vets in chicago, but when Wicker Park Vet opened in our neighborhood, we found our home. A lot of vets can feel business first, and that’s just not the case here. They’ve taken incredible care of my pets over the years. I’ve lived in LA for the last 5 years, and continue to bring my dog Bomber to see Dr Mullin, as we come home often. I give her a hug pretty much every time I see her. Because she’s simply the best.

My go-to vet clinic. Incredibly reliable and kindhearted staff. I've been in twice and each time the staff was prompt and I was able to get an appointment within a few days. The most recent appointment, my cat was in a situation that potentially needed ER attention. The clinic was able to do an assessment of my cat the same day to see whether it warranted a trip to the ER. It turned out he was okay and was prescribed a weeks work of medication instead.

I switched to Wicker Park Vets since it was close to my house and I am grateful I did. They are so attentive to my cat's needs and are helpful when there have been any issues regarding her health. Every part of the clinic is a well-oiled machine and I have felt comforted in our time of need by the front desk staff, the technicians, and the veterinarians. I took my cat this week for her annual and their curbside service was wonderful. Highly recommend!

The staff at Wicker Park vet clinic are great! Every time I’ve taken my dog in they have taken my concerns seriously and responded with a helpful solution for whatever my dog is going through. One time my dog lost her nail after her paw was stepped on and was causing her a lot of pain. I called them 20 minutes before they closed but they understood my concern and saw me last minute to ensure my dog was ok. I would recommend this vet to anyone.

My first visit was very positive. the staff was very friendly and efficient. The facility is clean and inviting. My new Standard puppy poodle was treated kindly and gently. Dr Jacob Cohen was very informative, knowledgeable, and enthusiastic. He took care of the basic exam and vaccinations. He also gave me his opinion on professional dog training which I appreciated and will follow through on. The onsite parking was very convenient as well.

I came in with a sick kitty, and the professionalism and personal care Dr Cohen and his staff showed for her was great. They didn't push on giving her antibiotics, but gave me a good course of action to take care of her at home and what to do if she didn't get better. This was my first time using a new vet on my 12 year old cats, and I was concerned going to someone new. They were so great, and affordable, I cannot recommend them enough!

They are the only ones I trust with my dog!! I take all my pets there, but my dog is my life, and Dr. Cohen is caring, knows what he's doing, is honest with me about when I might need to do a procedure and when it is just wasting money...and he knows when to call me out when I'm just being paranoid! The whole staff is caring, friendly, funny, and I genuinely feel like they care about my little dude. Thanks Wicker Park Vet Staff!

We've been going to Wicker Park for years and always get great treatment. My dog got sick in the middle of the night, and when I called the following morning, they didn't have any open appointments but suggested I come and they might be able to fit me in. When we arrived, we got taken care of very promptly and professionally, and all of my questions were answered. And most important, my dogs feel at home and love the staff.

I can’t say enough good things about this place! We took our 8 week old puppy here for her first check up and the staff was extremely friendly and welcoming. It’s stressful taking your dog to the vet and they made it a pleasant experience. They were gentle with our puppy while giving her shots and made great suggestions and tips about the type of food and treats to feed her. I would highly recommend taking your pet here!

Wicker Park Vet is just the BEST. Our doctors were both Dr. Mawry and Dr. Mullin. They were both fabulous - helping our Bernese Mountain Dog with severe anxiety, post a GDV/Bloat emergency surgery, neutering, and general care. They both answered ALL of our questions with care and compassion. More broadly, the entire staff at WPV is just the best - they are responsive and kind. We cannot recommend Wicker Park Vet enough!

Dr. Mowry, Dr. Oh and the entire front desk and tech staff are exceptional people who provide efficient, caring, and patient-centered care. They work seamlessly as a team to provide timely and holistic care for my dog. I am SO glad i found them and I am referring my parents to start bringing their dog here, even though it will be a bit of a drive, they are absolutely worth it! Could not be happier with their service!

This is the best vet clinic in Chitown and the best doctor for your pet. Don't hesitate or think twice in coming/visiting them! If you have an emergency and you need someone who to trust your furry heart and bff this is the place. I have brought my dog, Piper, here several times and they always treat her so well. Whenever she gets a vaccine, they call the day after to make sure she is doing well and not experiencing any reaction. You can tell the staff at Wicker Park vet are true animal lovers. Piper even took an anxious poop on the floor during our last visit and the staff were so kind about it. I would definitely recommend Wicker Park Vet.

One of our biggest concerns when we moved to Chicago was finding a great vet for our dogs. Thanks to Yelp, we found Wicker Park Vet Clinic, and we couldn't be happier. Both of our dogs are rescues and require a bit more patience and time, but the vets and nurses were so wonderful. One of our dogs actually wanted to spend more time with the vet! We love it there, and are so happy to know our dogs are in great hands.

I’ve recently moved from Chicago but took my cat here for the past 6 years. The staff is always super kind (even when my cat wasn’t) and I always appreciated that Dr. Cohen was being honest and straightforward with me in terms of what my cat might need now vs what might help but could wait a few months. Bonus points for the staff always following up after a visit with a phone call the next day to check on your pet!

Wicker Park Vet is wonderful! We were unhappy with our previous vet and were so happy to meet Dr. Cohen at the Wicker Park St. Fair to learn about a new clinic opening in the neighborhood. The front desk staff is courteous and helpful (surprisingly not the norm), we are not overcharged for unnecessary care or services, and most importantly, they take great care of our dog Charlie. I highly recommend!

Wicker Park vet were our doctor for our senior dog for 5 years, and now they are the doc for our current pup. All Associates, doctors, and technicians are very friendly, and they 5 be able to accommodate our urgent and last-minute requests all the time. Free parking is a bonus. This review is long overdue but can’t say enough good things about Dr. Mullins and the staff. She is extremely knowledgeable, thorough and reliable and always went an extra mile to make things easier/safer/better for me and my dog. Prices and the workup was always very reasonable. I knew my dog was always in good hands with Dr. Mullins and we were very sad to move away. Can’t recommend enough!

The vets and vet techs are kind, helpful, and have great follow through. I can always get appointments when I need them and they’re generous with their time, knowledge and skill set. I’ve recently had to learn how to give subcutaneous fluids at home for my dog and I’ve been really squeamish about it. They’ve trained me and retrained me! And have been really compassionate and patient with me.

I have two cats. One is super social but the other is very nervous, the staff understood and let me take them separately. Then entire staff was so patient and calm with my boys but especially with my nervous cat. They gave him all the time he needed to explore and get as comfortable as he could, they are so kind and you can tell everyone really loves animals! So happy I found them!

We were referred to Wicker Park Vet from Good Dog Training and they could not have been more right. Dr. Mullin was amazing and so patient with our 3yr old German Shepherd rescue that is a bit of a handful at the vet (to say the least)! Everyone at the office was so friendly and helpful - we definitely have found our new vet. Oh, and parking is super easy which is always a big plus!

This place is great! Clean and welcoming. My pup can be a little nervous around strangers and was suspicious of all the vet tools, but Dr. Mowry was really patient with him and he warmed up enough to let her do what she needed to do. She was very helpful and answered all of my questions. This was our first visit but we are definitely going to make Wicker Park Vet our new main vet.

I recently switched vets and I have to say, I love this place !! There prices are not expensive at all and they offer a large variety of services. During these times, they make their curbside pick up quick, easy and contactless. And yes they sanitize your pets carrier The lady at the front desk is so polite and nice also. I'm definitely switching all my pets to this vet.

I love Dr. Cohen and his incredibly friendly, knowledgable staff. My very nervous dog is always fed treats and petted and rubbed until he becomes comfortable. I especially appreciate how thorough and informative Dr. Cohen is. After adopting my dog, I hopped around trying desperately to find a veterinarian that both my dog and I trusted- and we found that at Wicker Park Vet.

I love my vet! Dr. Jake and his staff made us new doggy parents feel comfortable and secure from Day 1. Now our beloved is almost 2, healthy and happy and we know we can count on the clinic to be there if he needs more than the excellent well-doggy care he already receives. Welcoming front desk staff. I had to bring my toddler with me for the visit and the staff was so thoughtful. They brought him toys and coloring pages as we waited. We were seen promptly. Dr. Cohen was very gentle with our cat and explained everything clearly. We had a phone call the next day from him with test results. We have been very happy with our care!

Simone and Schwee love Wicker Park Vet. Prices are reasonable (exam $65, blood panel $128) and the cats are surprisingly comfortable once in the exam room thanks to the tender care of staff. I know as my cats get older they’ll need more care, and I trust that I’ll be able to come here and not feel as upcharged as I have at nearby vets for routine services.

Always a pleasure at Wicker Park Vet. We see Dr. Singleton but I’ve witnessed some of the interactions of the other vets with their patients and I would gladly see any of them. The techs are all awesome too. Desk staff can be hit or miss but I’m never really bothered by it. They seem like they’re pretty busy most of the time so I think I get it.

Great vet if you can get in. We followed our old vet here after the previous clinic was bought by a large national chain who seems to only be interested in making more money off your pet. Wicker Park Vet is NOT that. Everyone here is kind, understanding, and flexible. Our pets don't mind coming here, and they even cut the pills in half for you

Dr. Cohen and his team are wonderful! We can't say enough nice things about the staff at this office. They are always welcoming and kind to our pup. Dr. Cohen is supportive and knowledgeable. His office is responsive and always checks with us after our dog sees them with any sort of issue. We trust them and value their expertise.

I continue to be nothing but completely happy with my cats' care. Dr. Cohen is conservative and logical in his approach of more complex issues and he doesn't push tests that aren't needed. He's very conscious of costs and offers fair pricing. I switched over to WPV about four years ago and couldn't be happier. Highly recommend!!

Took our Ms. Kitty in for a first-time visit in January. The vet and the assistant were kind and professional. A routine checkup took about 15 minutes, and the front desk made payment and paperwork a breeze. Also helpful was the parking right out front and separated dog and cat waiting areas. We will definitely be going back!

A great veterinary group! The staff is very friendly and helpful. I spent a lot of time there over several months when my cat was sick. Everyone was incredibly compassionate and supportive. They run on time, are thorough, and well priced. I feel fortunate to have a such a wonderful group of people looking after my pets.

I started coming here 2 months ago with my new golden retriever puppy and really like it. Puppy is always excited to be at the office and loves Dr. Mullin. All of the staff are very friendly and you can tell that the vets and technicians really care for your pet. Prices are fair and the parking lot is really convenient.

I love this vet. They are so thorough in examining my dog, remembering her allergies without me prompting before giving her treats, and explaining all my treatment options. They also aren't as expensive as others in the area. The front desk staff are super friendly and will work to find an appointment time for you.

We've been bringing our cat Mia here for the past 5 or 6 years. The staff is always very friendly and gentle. It's a relief when you get the sense the staff cares as much about your pet as do. Dr. Cohen is very informative and knowledgeable and has definitely extended the life of our pet. Highly recommended.

The staff was great. For our first time bringing our new dog to his new vet, they were so understanding on how to make him more comfortable in order to look at his ears, teeth etc during his check up. They will also price match for medicines such as heart guard and flea/tick which is so helpful to know.

Best vet in Chicago. We have been seen by all of the vets on staff and find their care above and beyond. The prices are also very reasonable and fair. We have been coming here since 2013 and highly recommend them. They have fantastic follow-up and always make sure your pets are doing well after a visit.

We love taking our puppy to Wicker Park Vet Clinic. We see Dr. Darcy and she is amazing! Always willing to answer any and all questions we have and make recommendations for us. The staff are also super nice and very responsive when I need something like a medical record or have a vaccination question.

Dr. Cohen and the whole team are amazing. I had seen a different vet about my dog's limp and they told me to just wait it out. Dr. Cohen was so helpful and identified the issue immediately, referring me to a surgeon and been incredibly supportive. I will always be going to Wicker Park Vet from now on.

We love WPVC! The staff is kind and helpful. The doctors are thoughtful and compassionate. We have two dogs under their care (and one cat who passed a few months ago) and won’t take them anywhere else! There is parking and I’ve never experienced a wait, which is so helpful!

I went with my niece to take her dog Bella to the vet. She has issues with her paws. The staff was great to us and Bella. She has arthritis due to her age. My niece was very happy with the staff and facility. She will be bringing both dogs for checkups.

Wicker Park Vet is consistently on the lower end, cost-wise. The treatment my pets have received is very comprehensive. The doctors even respond via email when they aren't in office, which is not necessary but extremely comforting. Highly recommend.
