We were setting up a celebration, a very important one at the puppet theatre who provided programs for children for over 25 years by now. And we had everything setup at the back ,on the amphitheatre stage : tables, splendidly decorated with fairy lights and jars with flowers and fairy lights and pyramid decorations with fairy lights in, and balloons with confetti and helium and lights... In 20 minutes everything was trashed by a bunch of kids, between 8-12 years old. They even had the nerve to come around, at the front of the theatre and ask to be let inside. I told them that without an adult or a carer I can not let them in, but I opened the door widely, so they could see the puppets and the marionettes. They asked me questions and I kindly answered all of them. At a point, one of them asked me if I'm a Christian, in no relation with anything that we've been talking. Then they told me that there is a lot of glass at the back of the theatre and when I went to check, everything was broken and smashed beyond recognition. glass everywhere, in a space dedicated to children! I started to cry and to clean, the celebration ruined, the resources and props ruined (and they were borrowed from a friend who is a primary school teacher), my trust that children are all.angels-ruined! And what question is that, coming from an 9-10 years old boy: are you a Christian? Only to find out, 5 min later that they've trashed my work and my things without remorse ,also without me doing anything ofensive or bad to them... Regardless how beautiful Wiley Park is, if that's what populates it (as this is not the first time things like this happened there),

Nice place to breathe in this hectic life where tech. Mobile are stressing us every day. However, I did not go for any intertainment rather than was a good place where people are gathered to explain our aim & to collect petitions to demerge from Bankstown Council & bring back our Canterbury Council. Mr Baird 2016 the previous premier sold us & gave money to Canterbury Council inciting it to amalgamate with Bankstown Council: wrong doing. The park is not plain: hills & down so tiring but for young people would be fine. I came back with lower back problem straight away to sleep nearly after 8pm. Fadia Sultan

Amazing park. They're currently doing construction on the lake and river area. Can't wait until it's complete. A few covered picnic tables are scattered around near one of the playgrounds. Some nice walking paths lead to an outdoor gym and an outdoor theatre. Toilets are good and there is staff during the day emptying bins and doing general maintenance. They're very friendly.
Playground
2 playgrounds. Make sure you supervise your children.
Dog-friendliness
Dogs are welcome. Poop bags available near the carpark.

  • Emily Grace

The first-rate park for residents of Wiley park and Lakemba. The park is big and it's properly maintained by way of the council. The best drawback is that the citizens feed the ducks which makes them unwell and pollutes the pond. You can also get a totally connected with the local ecosystem to realize what animals are residing round in the neighborhood. Outstanding out of doors exercise system in the sun inside the middle of the park super vicinity to do exercises with the gymnasium fees all body weight education.

  • Josh Lazenby

Great park for anyone of any age. Very large and open grounds. It offers a great area for watching ducks and various other birds at multiple small ponds. Its got a small play area for kids, good walking path, plenty shady trees, and well maintained exercise equipment. Despite being near two main roads, it's a quiet and relaxing place. Great for families and picnics or BBQs. Its also great for Pokemon Go players as there are quite a few points within the park.

  • Mohamed Awadallah (Zakaria Abu Malik)

It is good for all family. It is busy and crowded in holidays. BBQ areas are available. Nice lake with ducks and birds. Nice for workouts and bicycles. Awesome in the early morning during school hours. It is good for the disabled. Toilet available. Open theatre. It is Pakistan and Bangladesh area. Unfortunately, it is not clean because the staff there are not responsible.

  • ryan cliff

One of the best suburban parks in Sydney. Located on a large block in a busy, densely populated area. This park is a gem and a gift. The park is kept clean and tidy, there is a stream that leads to a large pond filled with birds and wildlife. The council has intended to develop part of the land for commercial use. I hope this does not happen. Wiley park festival

  • Rubia Naaz

Great, huge, some gym equipments, kids playing area, an artificial pond with ducks, a place for all ages to enjoy greenery.
Playground
Well equipped, spaciously places slides and swings good to accommodate a larger crowd
Picnic area
Has good undercover benches and close to the playground so it can be used while the kids can have their fun

  • Hani H

Love to go there with my kids.... Swings are really good. Full of natural beauty... Environment is very fresh and peaceful. There are some exercise equipments also... Great place for jogging. Love the small lakes in the park. Birds and ducks make the place even more beautiful. Plenty of sitting place and car parking...

  • Clove Land

Lovely park to have a picnic, enjoy a walk and visit the ponds. There's plenty of bird life, but that brings me to my only point of why I put one star down and that the birds do get into everything! They dirty the place with their droppings..apart from this its a huge space for family and friends to spend the day.

  • J “J Ly Photography” Ly

Wiley Park is a great park to walk the dog or to have a picnic or just for general exercise or a jog and to watch the bird at the pond. The park includes a outdoor theatre and a barbecue area aswell as picnics table and seating. The park also in parking for disabled people so it is accessible to all minorities.

  • Badiaa Essoufi

As a person used to live in wollongong i didn't expect that nice park in such area but as i knew before dirty rubish everywhere due to people living there has 0 values sadly and shame on them other than that its quiet good should look after it more and more put lot of bins and some warning for lowlife people.

  • Slim J

Safe, annoying crows if you live near the park, generally clean but sometimes you find some none responsible people who dump there furniture without arrangement with council. Used to get cars dragging but after putting bumps in my street it's been fixed. I love the park very relaxing and well maintained

  • Arun M P

It's a shame that people don't the rules. There were people throwing food items into the pond , that too in large quantity. It seemed like they were trying to get rid of leftovers rather than feed the fish or the birds. Such a nice facility is being thrashed by careless actions of ungrateful people

  • Abid Hussain

It is big family park in the area with a pond, ducks, exercise equipment, a few kids rides & swings and toilets. A lot of families come here with kids to enjoy BBQ and kids rides. A few people exercise here in the morning. I like this place a lot, go here at least once fortnight with my family

  • Mumbrah

Nice space for children, families or just a walk. The pond is nice with ducks n other birds - think I spotted a Turkey n goose as well. There’s fish in the pond but the water is very dark. There’s more than one play area for the kids. Great neighborhood park or just a visit or walk your dog.

  • MD Hasan

Nice and clean park.two thumbs up to the council workers who work here.but thumbs down to those ppl who are feeding their left over foods to the birds and fish which is affecting the whole parks ecosystem.already water in the pond is affected with algae which workers are struggling to clean.

  • Shirshak Dutta

WILEY PARK is one of the best park in Sydney, New south Wales, Australia. This park has an artificial stream line, an open outdoor gym, free barbeque places, even an open air theatre also. This is situated on the side of the Canterbury Road and at a walking distance from Wiley park station

  • Diwakar Dhital

Plenty of parking available i recon its for whole day or unlimited. Pretty small however well managed. Plenty of activities to do like child play, gym, morning walk or may be just sit down. Beautyful water view, and wounderful birds and little animals. However, water is pretty dirty.

  • Joe Tangco

Toilets are a bit mank, and could do with a bit more playground, and I wish there was easier access to the amphitheatre, but I love the pond, and the addition of the exercise equipment is brilliant. Overall, park was beautiful and clean.
Playground
Good for maybe up to 5yo

  • B T

This park needs some attention from the council, specifically on the weekend. Many families visit the park, therefore heavy usage of the facilities require quality maintenance and continuous monitoring. It has the potential to be a great park due to the layout. Keep improving!

  • H AH

It's a decent park. I think the play equipment could be cleaner but the grounds are manicured. Personally I'm not a fan of birds (ibis) and if it were cleaner, including the 'pond' I bet they wouldn't be hanging around. Good parking opportunities and plenty of space to play.

  • Nazmun Naher

Wiley Park is very near to my home so I can go there every day for family time. The park is very big.
Playground
The playground is big and many play equipment to play with.
Picnic area
There is a BBQ area and also picnic area big enough for whole family.

  • Shane G

It has two areas under construction/renewal. Play equipment is a little old, but is very close to toilets and Edge street carpark. Also there is a friendly goose, and some bush turkeys that wander around as well as the usual Ibis, pigeons and galah kids love to chase :)

  • Three

  • Zubair Hossain

One of the largest park in the area with ponds and ducks . There are some bbq spots. Also have a large parking area. Walking tracks are nice and clean. There are some gym equipment available in the part to use. There are few spots for kids to play as well. …

  • Sally T

Its lovely to have such a large park in this area. It's complete with ponds and ducks. It's so great for kids to play in. A lovely place for exercise and even just to sit under a tree and read a book. This park is well kept and much appreciated by those that use it.

  • Phillip Leuluai

I haven't been to this place, it's always packed with families, picnic area's look really nice, it's close to home, nice atmosphere and lot's of people exercising. There's some work being done around the park maybe it's an upgrade. Very family orientated. Nice park

  • Sabina Jusufspahic

I came to check the Park as I thought I'll bring my granddaughter here to play. This place is so dirty. If I compare it with for example Steel Park or any other nearby Park I am not even able to compare them. I would never bring my grand kids here.

  • Kirito SAO BTSP

Love this place during the pandemic lockdown. Has a mini gym which is ok to keep your muscles toned until the gyms reopen. Has a nice running track. Also a nice place to pickup women if you cant afford tinder gold if your into indian paki lol

  • Anne Archer

Nice park, very large and I like the walk across the bridges over the water. I take my dog for a walk there often. Needs to be better maintained around the pond, the ibis brids have really destroyed the area, they are disgusting!

  • Shohidul Alam

Nice place to get around with family and children. Recently adding more car park spaces and foothpath. Pond is full of fish, turtle and lovely ducks. Wish council will take step to have lot more ducks arround there.

  • Shehroz Khan

Great place to hang around and to run sometimes. But the water pond stinks due to the lack of maintaining and can ruin your whole experience. Best option is to avoid the water pond and enjoy the rest of the park.

  • Faheem Kalsekar

An amazing park for residents of Wiley Park and Lakemba. The park is huge and it's well maintained by the council. Only down side is that the residents feed the ducks which makes them sick and pollutes the pond.

  • menson sundash

Awesome wide park with two small water strem alike. But no swimming and fishing. No BBQ. But very pleasant place for relaxation. Children playcenter, Picnic spot, Side parking ,restroom. Much more to enjoy.

  • Tanvir Uddin

It's looking rather lifeless and dead. No pretty gardens and largely unkempt. The lakes are putrid. This is disappointing considering there's so much potential and I grew up with fond memories of the park.

  • faraz ibrahim

  • Crystal Blxxm

a very nice park except for the fact people feed the ducks bread and it contaminates the water, therefore that's the reason it has a foul smell.
