I had great interactions with the Front Office ladies, they were friendly, through, professional and quick. I loved my hygienist or tech woman, she was fast, friendly and through and made we feel welcome and important. When Dr Lui came in, he seemed to be distracted and his left leg jumped up and down very quickly during the entire visit. That’s makes my anxiety levels skyrocket. He took a look at my teeth but totally went past my front tooth that has a large piece of the backside filling gone, I’m very concerned that he rest of it is going to break out. I ask him about it and he tells me that he doesn’t see what I am Seeing and feeling. He tries to tell me that the filling isn’t broken but rather worn down but I tell him, it did break out in a chunk that I saw. My front tooth has half of it missing and filled in with composite . The back side filling is gone and the front is about to go as well. He argues with me, trying to tell me that the front side isn’t filling but is actually my tooth structure. And if he tries to fix it then he may destroy the rest of the tooth I had to really push him to repair the back filling. He then tells me that I have a cavity on the supporting bridgework anchor tooth and that he really isn’t sure if it’s saveable. I can see the X-ray and it looks pretty shallow and totally saveable. He did not make me feel like he was going to be able to fix any of my teeth. He didn’t seem to care at all if I had to have them all removed. I really prefer to write positive reviews but after reading his Bio on the webpage, I was frustrated. He talks about how he was so impressed with the compassion of the doctors that took care of him as a child and that he come into work and practices mindfulness and compassion. I think it would do him and his patients some good if he would really practice this before work. I left there not feeling hopeful anymore, I feel like he may pull any of the teeth out, that give him the slightest challenge.. I kinda feel bad about it but I think I might prefer the other doctor, I think Dr Lui and I may have incompatible personalities.

Worst Dental experience of my life... I am in awe at how bad of an experience this was for me. I have always had pretty good teeth and have had great dental care for most of my life. I've never had a bad experience at a dentist before but this honestly was probably the worst experience I've had at any doctor period. Dentist or not. I made the appointment because I had a filling fall out and it was painful plus needed to be fixed. The dentist explained very little to me about what he was doing or did. I left there unsure what I he had actually done at all. He did mention that he would have to sedate me next time because he said I had anxiety, which I dont. I've never had even slight anxiety with a dentist. My reactions were because he was not gentle. It was painful what he was doing and I don't think he numbed my mouth correctly. He had to give me two shots of numbing in my mouth because the first one didn't work at all and then on the second attempt he said he would have to go fishing around for the nerve. Regardless I left not sure what work was done, If it was fixed or what was next. Only that he recommended I go elsewhere since my insurance wouldn't cover a root canal. Money is not an issue either. I would gladly pay for the care I need out of pocket so please stop treating me like I can't afford what I would need. I would never recommend this place after this experience and I will NOT return. I would pay out of pocket for any dentist before returning there. Screw my insurance. Terrible manners, talked down to me, judgmental, impatient and left me confused about what even happened. Look elsewhere if considering dental care. I’m Definately going to find another dentist and have whatever was done checked and whatever it costs I’ll pay insurance or not, but I won’t spend a dime at a place that treated me like I couldn’t afford to be there or that I was somehow a problem patient the dentist would need to sedate. Screw you, perhaps it was your terrible skill you noticed and not dental anxiety as you claim. DO NOT GO HERE.

Loved their experience up until this day. Throughout the week, I received reminders of my appointment, calls, and text. I made sure to confirm them all and requested time off from work. This morning, I received a call 1 hour before my appointment, as I was getting ready. Willamette left a message on the phone. The message was so incoherent that I did not understand what they were saying. Call the number back, but they were closed. So I went to my appointment and was told that it was canceled. I informed them before I gave my name that I got a call but did not understand the message. lady in the front at 8am stark 1 November 15th, 2023 was flat-out rude, saying I should have gotten a call back number. Ignoring the fact that I just said I did not understand the message or the number. She went straight to let me reschedule you. Not one, sorry. I said this was my only day off, and I needed to request it in advance. It was like one ear out the other and gave me a time for the next day. When I asked if anything could be done today, she was just very rude about it. Saying "We got no Higenist," with attitude. Nothing warranted that response because I was non confrontational. I took the next available time slot a few days away, but it was not confirmed in the clinic. She said they would have to call me to confirm. It would be nice to know then and there if it was confirmed to get time off. I had to call the office right after to confirm. All in all, it was a terrible experience. I explained my situation calmly, and she was incredibly rude. A simple sorry about this would have gone a long way. I felt like I was treated like a child. I left incredibly fustrated and shaking and embarrassed. She made me feel stupid for not understanding the voice-mail even tho it was incoherent.

I did not have a good experience. I had a root canal at a different dental office because my insurance didn’t cover root canals for back molars. They did an excellent job but I knew I had to get a crown. I opted to get a temporary metal crown that was covered through my insurance so I had it done at this location. Right away I knew it wasn’t right. He placed a huge crown on the tooth. I was left biting my cheek, an off/raised bite, which he said would go down after biting it, and pain around my back gum area. He told me to wait a week and if it didn’t feel better, to come back and he’d put a smaller one on. I called right away afterwards and never received a call back. The pain was to bad, I eventually went back to the same place I had the root canal and had them put on a permanent one. That dentist was shocked at how bad the temp was and even apologized that I went through that. I take some responsibility because I should have done the crown at the same place I went to for the root canal but I was trying to wait and save for it. I have the before and after pictures and was horrified at how bad it was. He was really nice and I honestly feel bad for posting this but please take care to never do this to your other patients.

I absolutely love this Willamette dental location! I have really sensitive gums and was a little nervous about coming in for my first cleaning at that location, but the entire staff from the front desk to my dental hygienist were so nice and welcoming, this is my new favorite location! Amber was so nice, she went out of her way to answer any questions I had and gave me some great tips! Sheneice was absolutely AMAZING!! She has some gifted hands! She was so gentle and thorough with my cleaning, it’s the best I’ve ever had! And not to mention she was so sweet and nice, I want to have her every time I go! Dr. Nguyen pooped in for a second to check in, again she just made me feel so welcome and was so kind! I felt like I was in really good hands. Sometimes the dentist can be scary but after my experience today I’ll always come back to this Willamette Dental location!

My experience was overall a little frustrating and left me feeling judged on a situation with my teeth that I had no control over. After explaining my situation to the hygienist and the day I was having which included multiple dental visits after having my braces debonded. He started my treatment with a judgmental insensitive reaction. While cleaning mg teeth there was no sympathy but rather continued directon on how to move my head. Meanwhile his co-workers would continually come over to him and ask how he was doing. I feel like that is a little backwards, if I am the one in pain why is it that they need to be checking on him. When the Dentist came over I had a completely different experience. He was empathic gave good ideas as well as understanding of the challenges we were facing. This was my first time to this office and was not a positive experience.

I scheduled an emergency appointment for a very painful tooth and wished for it to be removed due to an emergency dentist explaining it too would need to come out. when I went to my appointment the person I saw said he wanted to wait for the main dentist to examine it to see if it needed to come out I felt he wasn't listening to my wishes and so my tooth and pain remained. for three weeks . Then I went back but guess what the main dentist examined it said yes it needed to be removed, but here didnt remove it They scheduled another appointment for my teeth to be cleaned bbilled my insurance for a treatment I didnt get and then covid hit my woes only got worse as my tooth is now broken at the gumline and now more painful than ever

I used to love this place but now it’s just terrible. They labeled me as high risk and sent me a reminder text to make my risk assessment appointment, yet every time I try to make an appointment they refuse to give me one. They always make an excuse and say they’ll call me back but never do. I told them that my teeth have been extra sensitive since pregnancy/postpartum yet they cancelled one of my appointments and didn’t want to reschedule. On top of that, they didn’t even let me know they cancelled it. The only reason I knew is because I called them the morning of my appointment because I never received a confirmation text like I usually do. I’m upset that I now have to go through the hassle of finding a new dental office.

I generally have fear for the dentist starting with the smell of the dentist the shots just as a whole "it's not a bad smell it triggers my anxiety" however I have been seeing A Dr. Leonard and she is wonderful she was not judgmental very gentle she's got a calm Demeter she listens to the patients there's another dentist there a male not sure of his name he is also very wonderful he was gentle he was non judgmental he gave me a shot and had a little trick that he did and I barely felt it so I really appreciate that they work together in completing a goal and that's getting you the help that you need for your oral health and being all around kind an dor that I am gracious

This place is absolutely wonderful. I have had TERRIBLE experiences with the dentist in my life and this place treated me as a friend and like they truly cared about myself and my health. If you have fear about the dentist come here. I was never in pain or discomfort and I had about 15 cavities filled in 15 weeks. Doctor Primley is absolutely wonderful. They listen to your wants and needs and do wonderful work. Thanks to everyone there! Ps- they also left my teeth looking much better than when I first came in. I have been able to go to work and live my life with more confidence because it no longer nervous about smiling. I love my smile now.

They did a filling and it lasted for less than a year ... I called for emergency appointment Mellisa at front desk, gave me an appointment within 2 weeks also gave me false information regarding another emergency tooth doctor location, she said they accept my insurance, I called and thank good I asked before making appointment and they declined to cover my insurance, I asked Melisa to talk with supervisor or manager or district manager and she Beaufort excuses and said nobody is available to talk ... very disappointed with their services, their customer service and providing wrong information always.... wish I could have them zero star...

I love these guys! The staff and receptionists are always so friendly. I can tell they have a great work environment and really enjoy what they do. Friendly, considerate, and always keen to make your experience enjoyable. Dr.Youssef is the most gentle dentist I've ever had the pleasure of visiting. I would highly reccomend him in general but especially if you have any dental related anxieties. He's great at making sure you're comfortable the whole time. He also shares his knowledge with his patients - letting you know what he's doing and *why*. I value him immensely as a doctor and could not reccomend him and his staff enough!

Had an amazing experience, I have gone to Willamette Dental for years but this time they treated me so well that I decided to write a review ( which I never do). Molly my hygienist was spectacular, an expert in her field, took time to explain things, did super diligent work with cleaning, and just very nice professional girl. Dr.De amazing guy as well, now I see why everyone likes him, super nice guy, such a bright personality makes you feel happy just talking to him. Absolutely amazing manners not like some cocky Drs. that act like they run this world. Thumbs up to those two amazing humans.

I gave a low rating due to the lack of speed of service. The time it took to get an appointment took forever and now the time it will take to get my teeth fixed so that I can chew feed again will be another three months that is half a year without any bottom teeth at all. This is due to the loss of so many employees after COVID. The providers and assistants are all great people and do their job well. In fact had the speed of service not been an issue I would have given them five stars. Now I will leave and go somewhere else if I can find someone who can give me a new plate faster

Honestly due to a poor experience with past dentists I avoided the dentist office for 4 years. I was into much pain to ignore any longer. Dr Holly has been so helpful. He has set a plan with me to help get my teeth and gums back to health. I've been working with him and a specialist for about 2 months now and my teeth and gums look great! No more pain! I recommend Willamette Dental to everyone! Update: I'm still incredibly happy with my care. I'm almost done with my dental plan that Dr. Holly set up. Everyone that works here has taken such great care of me!

Had x-rays, cleaning with the hygienist, and check-up with the dentist. Everyone missed a dark spot on my bottom back molar, which I could see after my appointment. I followed up by email the same day as my appointment to ask about it because I figured a stain would have come off in the cleaning and the dentist said I didn't have any cavities. Never got a return response from the dentist. Since then, the spot has turned into a hole in my tooth, which in my estimation means it was a cavity. Terrible. Zero stars if I could.

Overall a great experience. I deeply appreciate that they won’t drill and fill if things look stable, and the focus is on preventative care. All the staff from the check in staff to the dentists and hygienists have been lovely and I say this as someone who is anxious at the dentist and has had bad experiences with other practices. Getting in to see someone, especially since Covid, has been a challenge. I don’t hold them responsible for this, they are doing their best and accessing any healthcare is difficult right now.

I have gone to many dentists over the years and this place rocks! Everyone is super nice (also particularly safe in the time of COVID-19) and the dental hygienist as well as the dentist were thorough and efficient. I got a cleaning done first which was a very pleasant experience with lots of detailed information about the condition of my teeth and how to take care of them for the future. I got a filling done today and I was in and out within 30 minutes! I really appreciate everyone who works here. Thanks again!

Stark st 2....first I was told over a month ago If I came in at 7am my dentures would be fixed within 2 to 3 hours Now here got a ride from ride to care and a pick-up at 11am Nope they said no one would tell me that like I am lying now I have to sit here until 5pm with dentures fixed and no ride home for you can not get a same day ride with ride to care so I have no idea how I am getting home receptionist Jessica is heartless rude and should not be in customer service

I had the best experience stark office 2. Greeted on time and didn’t have to wait long to be seen. DA Gina was very nice and gentle when taking my X-rays. Dr Ulmer is a great doctor he is so nice, made me feel very comfortable and not shamed me for slacking a bit on my dental hygiene. My Hygienist Elly was amazing she made my cleaning relaxing and was gentle with instruments. I will definitely look forward to getting seen for my 6 month recall.

Check in girl was nice. Other than that I wouldn't recommend going here. Lots of fumbling, nobody seemed to know who was supposed to to do what or what was happening. All the rooms were cramped together withwdoors open sp you could hear every patients info and procedure. Over an hour and nothing was accomplished didn't even get my cleaning. I will be doing everything I can to get my dental care elsewhere

Tried to make my appointment, traffic was really bad trying to get to the office on Stark. Called before my appointment time to tell them there was no way I could make it on time. The receptionist took a very long time, was dismissive, and kept talking about all the fees I would now have to pay. This was my sons first appointment, I will be looking for a different dental insurance plan.

Need to take time off work for an apointment? Feeling anxious about your apointment? Don't bother about any of that! Here at Willamette Dental, we can cancel your apointment for you within less than an hour of your apointment with no rescheduling! If I called out of my job less than an hour before my shift, I'd get written up. But here? That's just part of the charm.

Absolutely love Dr. Holly and all of the staff here! Haven't had any issues in regards to the quality of the service and the friendliness of everyone. As someone with severe anxiety, this place makes me feel very welcome and comfortable. They also have no problems with using headphones during procuderes, which helped a lot. No sort of professionalism whatsoever. Do not give any dignity to the client o their mistakes…. Claimed they called to reschedule an appointment with my daughter they did no such thing and when I shows up for the spot they wer condescending and acted as if it was my fault they messed up in the scheduling, Awful awful place take your business elsewhere.

Dr. Chu and Christine were absolutely incredible! I was not only informed how to improve my oral health but they were so kind about it and easy to talk with. I was inspired that day for sure because they weaponized me with the right perspective on oral care and I appreciate them very much! Excited to see them again as we progress with my care.

If you are looking for inattentive dentists and rude staff, then you have absolutely come to the right place. Terrible experiences every time we come here, looking for a new provider because their staff has become extremely less than professional. I highly don’t recommend going to with of the stark offices. You will be severely disappointed.

They made me feel comfortable from the beginning. This is a very clean office. The hygienist, Fouriza Bashir RDH, took time and explained things to me. I have had my teeth cleaned once a year and by far she is the BEST. The dentist was polite, confident, and exactly the kind of dentist I appreciate.

This is the best dental place you can imagine for treatment. About two months ago I signed up with them through my employer and I can't find enough words for my appreciation. They went above and beyond to give me the urgent care that I needed. Thanks again for your amazing and caring service.

I have been with Willamette Dental for 4 years and going to this office for 1 year. The hygienist who worked on me was awesome, we had great chats and she answered all my questions. The doctor was efficient and to the point, and asked me if I had any questions. All in all, a great experience!

When you're denture is hurting you have to wait 5 plus days to get in and when it's broke the same thing and then it doesn't get fixed but they said I saved 450.00 but really lost copay and it will be 2 weeks till they can get me back in to try again now I know why they only take insurance

They have some amazing staff working here. One of the dental assistants, Amber is AWESOME. She is good at her job, she was continously checking on me to make sure I was doing alright. She was an absolute sweetheart, very personable and made me feel comfortable.

Worst dental office ever. Charged me for a appointment I didn't know I had. Had to switch dental plans because I got transferred to this office and had a bad cavity that spread to the root and it was 4 months wait to get it fixed.

Front desk make effort to let all staff I came in contact with knew how to correctly pronounce my name. This is huge and great customer service and shows how much they care about the patients they have thank you so much❤️

Pain completely disregarded, needed multiple fillings/etc but I only get offered 7 AM appointments, unless I want to wait months to help my pain. Cares more about patient punctuality than actually helping relieve my pain.
