Dr. John Pisacane installed a crown that fits terribly. The crown fits like a mushroom cap - i.e., the crown has an overhang that is larger than the stem underneath. Worse yet, there is a gap below the crown that traps food. UPDATE: During a follow-up visit for corrections, the attitude was hostile and nothing was improved. Because the crown traps food particles, I still have to floss and rinse 2x/day to keep my breath from smelling as if I were diseased. UPDATE #2: X-rays from my new dentist show the problems, and the crown must be replaced. My new dentist was surprised that John Pisacane did not replace the defective (and expensive) crown. Bottom line: I experienced disappointing dental work that deserves one star. A return visit seeking solutions was unpleasant and yielded no improvement. NOTE: The firm's fees are often dramatically higher than what Delta Dental will accept as a maximum charge for reimbursement calculations. High prices, disappointing work, and resistance to to making corrections left a bitter taste in my mouth.

Hi, I would like to add something to my original review that I posted two weeks ago, this is from my appointment yesterday: "I would like to thank Willow Glen Dentistry for taking care of two cavities, BUT what I really want to say is that Dr. Pisacane didn't charge me for doing a third cavity which was located on the other side of mouth, Thank You So Much, I Greatly Appreciated that" Now on to my original Review: Over the weekend I had an issue with a tooth, it was extremely painful, so first thing this morning I drove straight to Willow Glen Dentistry, (I didn't even call) I walk in & the friendly staff fit me right in, I had no more pain when I left & then continued to work. So, If You're looking for the Best in Dentistry with the lastest in Technology, Equipment, & the most Friendliest Staff, Willow Glen Dentistry is the place... I've been a patient for over six years now & I want to say Thank You...

2023 - Update - I'm still go here, love the staff. ---------- I'm from Ohio and I moved here for school. when first looking for a doctor I found the closest one and they were just okay. Now that I've been here for a while I looked for my next real doctor in Willow Glen. I heard of this doctor from other positive reviews saying that they were going to this place for a very long time and loved it. I just got back from my first appointment and they remind me so much of the dentist I grew up with. The office is very high tech, clean, and designed to look very modern. I liked that we talked about my current teeth situation but also future options for improvement and enhancement. I look forward to continuing my teeth journey here. :)

I've been going to Dr. Velasquez's office for a year now and I love it.Their office was recommended to me by a co worker who said that the front desk reception and dentists' make him love going to this dentist and I agree.Every person that has worked on me has done a great job and has made me feel very comfortable to be in the chair. The office is very flexible with schedules and I am usually in and out of there in a very timely manner.Dr. Tran and Dr. Velasquez are highly skilled dentists and I feel like I can trust their judgement.Carol at the front desk is the bomb- genuine, helpful and I love her sense of humor. I have always been more than satisfied with the hospitality, service, and treatment I've received from Dr. Pisacane and his Willow Glen Dentistry team. Yet after all these years, today's routine visit for a cleaning and exam caught me by surprise -- in a good way. I've had several dental hygienists through the years. I was pleased with all of them. Today, however, a new hygienist, Daniella, took teeth cleaning to a new level. She was meticulous, conscientious, and informative as she worked her magic from one tooth to another, explaining what she was doing and why. I've never had such an amazing experience of having my teeth cleaned.

I am a new patient to Willow Glen Dentistry. I searched online and liked what Dr. Pisacane patients were saying about him and his staff. His numerous specialties meet all my dental needs. My first encounter with his office was with his warm and caring receptionist Shante. The moment I met Dr. Pisacane I felt comfortable, he is very likable, experienced, knowledgeable, his communication skills are excellent. My case is complicated, but he seems up for the challenge. I feel sure I made an excellent choice when deciding to have Dr. Pisacane be my dentist.

I had another great, easy visit at the Willow Glen Dentistry office early this morning. I actually enjoy coming here. Julie chats with me during the tooth scaling, and Fatima is so gentle with me. Shanté answers all my questions, sometimes before I even ask. This staff makes me feel perfectly comfortable, so much so that I just lay back and meditate sometimes during my cleaning. Which is a level of serenity I thought achievable in the tanning bed!! This is from someone had extreme dentist-phobia my whole life.

Dr. Pisacane and his staff were great! My previous dentist moved out of the country a few years ago and I’ve been very hesitant to find a local dentist. This is my second appointment here. I was thoroughly impressed on how they created a new crown by taking 3D images of the broken crown, “correcting it”, and machining a new one in 20 minutes while I waited in the chair! Amazing!
