* 'Willow Park Village' (Hereafter referred to simply as 'Willow Park') is comprised of a series of 'strip' buildings (see 'strip mall' for explanation) with a maze of parking and tree'd 'islands' at its centre. Parking is currently free. * 'Willow Park is conveniently located close to 'Southcentre Mall', with easy access from both Macleod Trail and Bonaventure Drive, and is within walking distance of the 'Anderson' C-train station. * The types of businesses located in 'Willow Park' are typically specialty, boutique, niche type stores and food shops, and the prices and quality of merchandise reflect that. Some favourite shops at 'Willow Park' include 'Springbank Cheese Company', 'Crave Cupcakes', 'Cobbs Breads' and 'Willow Park Wines & Spirits'. * It appears to be a desirable location to have a shop business, evidenced by the fact that their are rarely any vacant bays, and some shops have been their for 20+ years. * The atmosphere of 'Willow Park' is generally classy and pleasant, so it is no surprise that the resident Starbucks tends to be quite busy with chatting friends, couples, and families who have chosen it as a social destination. As a result this Coffee Shop can be quite loud and have long lineups. * The store fronts are on wide paved sidewalks that are mostly covered by awnings, and on sunny days the shoppe owners often put bistro tables, chairs and racks of merchandise out on the walkway to catch attention and tempt passers by. * In general, 'Willow Park Village' is a pleasant place to spend a few hours window shopping and indulging in a bite to eat. It is often busy, but nevertheless its charm and unique stores will make a lasting impression, that will at some point beckon you to return.

Willow Park has always been a unique venue and although most of the stores aren't for me not to mention businesses that were victims of the economic turbulence caused by covid19 (bye Starbucks, you gobbled up all the smaller, authentic cafes and now have left gaping holes in caffeine availability.....maybe Willow Park should be enticing local endeavours now ?). If you walk across a parking lot you can see a perfect example of intractable landowners and obviously-struggling business, some even came and went during covid - I guess my point would be that we'll all be shopping online unless the people who sit on the land grow some form of conscience : you own a building, these people bust their assets daily - you can wait to collect your 'earnings' okay ? (Ahem) right, Willow Park - I think if it could play host to more demographics and stores (no one will be rushing down for a bank opening, or a store specialising in scarves made from hair from heads around the world) a wider list of reasons to visit, I think it'll breathe some life into what is quite a pleasant, quieter and more leisurely shopping experience than you'll find elsewhere. [SIDEBAR : How desperate was Southcentre to bring a $tore under its vaulted ceilings ? I'm saying this ironically obviously, but damn that kind of dresses the place down a bit ]

A very busy and diverse artisan shopping centre. This has many unique quality shops that are not necessarily available anywhere else in the city. Shops such as the huge Willow Park Liquor Store or Springbank Cheese shop or quality cupcakes are just a few examples. Of course there are some major brands here too like Starbucks if you are in need of familiarity. AMA is also located here too which is very convenient. The layout of the mall can make it difficult to precisely find what you are looking for but it also makes it easier to find parking because of the segregation. Being located close to Anderson Train Station is nice too. Even if you do not something specific you are searching for it is well worth exploring.

I have been coming here for about 17 years now, I live close by and it has served it purpose when needed. Generally everything hasn't really changed, the aesthetics are the same. You know when one salon closes another will open. The people that work in these organizations have lived in the area for a long time. It is certainly more of the small town feel. Its a great place to go and experience what calgary once was. It has also turned into the safe haven for businesses that were once in southcenter to open. Long standing businesses have a healthy life here. Great people, great businesses & a great experience.

This is a great mall for food and beverage shopping. Many of the shops are privately owned and have great quality items. Spring bank cheese is an amazing resource for cheese lovers. Willow Park Wine and Spirits have a huge selection of booze for all types and do neat tasting events as well.North Sea fish have great items including some rocking items ready to reheat n go.If your a food lover ,you gotta check this mall out. Some of good restaurants to be found here as well. Edit...and now pot stores as well.More on that later.

  • Java J

They say good things come in small packages, and that pretty much describes this mall. Loads of great places packed in a not so big space. Too many places to name, but pretty much something for everyone can be found in the shops here. Coffee, breads, buns, cupcakes, cheese, wine, meats, dry cleaning, clothing, shoes, spa, fitness, kitchen, hair cuts, several restaurants, and plenty more!! Only docked a star because parking can be an issue depending on which store/stores you're going into.

I'm generally here on a weekly basis to visit any combination of: Deville, Springbank Cheese Co., the fish market, and/or Willow Park Wine and Spirits. I recommend any of these for different reasons, but the cheese shop takes top prize for the amazing staff. And Willow Park- wow! Dave the Beer Guy, the wine tastings... it's all awesome! So check it out please; there are several places I didn't have time to mention, like Chianti! Please visit sometime...

  • MVNK

Great liquor store with scotch and wine tastings available. Was trying to pick out a nice smoky and peaty scotch and the scotch connoisseur was able to immediately recommend one to me after providing an unexpected (and free) tasting between two choices. Ended up picking up the recommend bottle (Kilchoman Sanaig) and glad I discovered this little known distiller and this liquor shop! Would definitely come back for some tasting events.

I received a $50. Gift Certificate from the owner/mall mgmt. at a special promotion, a couple of years ago. I never did use it, as it stated you had to spend the $ money all in 1 place. I wanted to try a couple of individual, different food stores. Might be a good idea to print Willow Park Mall $ dollars in $5. denominations. Check out examples from Calgary $ Dollars - barter community.

A high-end Shopping Plaza with a couple of banks Chianti's restaurant as well as in the new Nova Marijuana store it's definitely for high-end shopping probably mostly people from Willow Park who just come off the golf course there's also several other boutique stores as well as a fly fishing place if you looking for high-end items this would be your place to go

  • Judi Price

One of the best shopping plazas in Calgary. A large variety of lovely shops. The best wine store in Calgary, alongside Cob's bread and an amazing cheese shop. There are several great restaurants, including the Broken Plate and Chianti's great coffee shops, ladies clothing, shoe stores. Great place for an afternoon of window shopping or sourcing new products!

  • Audrey Jestin

Seriously, have you seen some of their sales? Love this place, and they have the Cellar Club so sign up and earn some points! The staff here is amazing, always someone coming up and asking to assist, and they have specialists for specific areas...I spoke to a gentleman that knew so much about Bourbon! The extras for gift giving are super nice too.

  • Sylvia Brammer-Moores

Willow park village has been around since I was a kid growing up in Calgary. It’s nice to be able to visit places where you grew up. Of course the stores have changed, but they have been replaced with many terrific shops. If you haven’t stopped by for a look, you really should, there is such a great variety of stores, clinics and such.

  • Mallorie

What a neat strip mall. Larger than most, and the parking is a bit twisty and turny, but the variety of specialty shops is really cool. If you have some time to use up, pack the kids into the stroller and wander around. Clothing, coffee, cheese, bread, ice-cream, pasta, wine - you can even renew your drivers license at the registry :)

  • Mikey J. Wilder Wilder

Willow Park Village has become a major local hub, known by most within the south side of Calgary. Sharing a nice community feel, almost feeling like this plaza was put there for your drive home. From a well stocked liquor store to the aroma of fresh baked bread to gourmet meals ready to take home to unique clothing and shoe stores this mall is a shoppers delight. Wether you are wanting to enjoy a great breakfast..lunch..or dinner you can find it all here at the mall. A great place to spend the day.

  • Katrina Lucyk

I love this shopping centre for Christmas or gift shopping, so many neat boutique shops all in one area. There's Willow Park Wine and Spirits of course, a Starbucks, Spring bank Cheese, Cobs Bread, AMA, the Fish Market, so many unique places. Really great high end shops as well.

  • Robert Eaton

Willow park is a great mall. I use the TD bank there as my main branch. Willow park wine store is a very good wine store. Plus there’s an excellent seafood store, cob’s bread, and a cheese store. Once in a while our daughter gets a special treat there, a mini cupcake from Crave!

  • M Bryan

So many great store here. The Willow Park liquor store has some of the best selection and the staff knows their stuff. The Springbank cheese shop is always a necessary stop when we are in town. If you're anywhere close. You have to s top in the area. It has what you need.

  • Conrad “Peeper” Taupert

Love this plaza. It's has very Seattle yuppie feel to it. I go to plaza to see my eye doctor and get Cannabis. Had a couple stops for coffee at Starbucks on the way home after getting my Medicinal Weed.its truly clean wide range of businesses. A shoppers paradise.

  • Cody Tritter

Great little shopping area that is filled with a few staple shops as well as a few unique boutique spots that you don’t want to miss, many good food and snack options throughout, if you’ve only seen it from Macleod Trail, pull over one time and check out the rest!

  • Grimothy Webber

Basically the best liquor store in the city. Beautiful store, a ton of selection and free samples. The only downside is they can never seem to keep anything too good for too long, but it's not their fault they carry so many damn tasty craft brews.

  • Alex Wood

Great shopping center with the best liquor store in calgary. Look on line for there flyer for weekly sales and Weekley in store tastings. The best time of the yr is the 2nd week of November for there charity week aka super tasting and food event.

  • Ichiban Noodles

I go to the Japanese restaurant Gina here. I also go to the Crave cupcakes, and Willow park liquor and wines. I use to go to the AMA here, but I live closer to another location now. Not a bad little shopping area with Mom and Pop type stores.

  • Nick Walden

Seems like I often find myself in this plaza every time we are preparing for a fancy meal. Between willow Park wine, the cheese, and the fish and bread stores, this plaza is a good one stop shop for picking up great quality food and wine.

  • Adrian Dayrit

A sleepy little collection shops that is actually pretty varied and interesting. It's really an odd collection of stores but I do visit here at least once a month. The parking lot isn't laid out very well but there are lots of points of

  • Mapa Kettle1

Every second car is a BMW or equivalent. During warm weather I enjoy sitting outside Starbucks and watching these unattainable vehicles (for me) scoot by. This little mall is amazingly busy, what with The Travel Store, the liquor store,

  • Architype

An aged strip mall, and that's what you're going to get. However the location is fairly good. The parking is a little wacky and you have to drive around to get in and out sometimes but all the locals know how to use it so seems to work.

  • Jefferson Kaine

We went to Willow park village for a number of items. When it is a nice day out it is great to walk around with a coffee and visit the shops. Some of our favourites are crave cupcakes, check mate shoes, willow park liquor to name a few.

  • Ryan Dinesen

Great selection of spirits, wines and craft beers, excellent tasting events, very helpful and friendly staff. Only downside, their prices are a bit higher than competitors (who have a smaller selection, etc). Premium experience!

  • Chris Erickson

This is a great little mall with most of the amenities you could want with the exception of a grocery store. There are 4 restaurants, a liquor store, weed dispensary, cup cake shop, AMA, Starbucks and many other boutique shops.

  • Bee

I went to AMA and had great service. I stopped to pick up a bottle of wine as a gift, I went to pick up some fresh fish, stopped in to buy some cheese and finished at Cobbs. This little area is PACKED with great places to shop.

  • GR8 Mah

Visited AMA to register vehicle. AMA service was good as usual. Parking spaces at Willow park mall are tight as usual. No different than any other modern shopping mall where the assumption is that you drive a smart car.

  • Dallas Robinson

Champagne Festival! So good, and you can try different bottles that you may never afford on your own or may not think of trying. Come in with an open mind and you will find your style somewhere. Mine was from Tasmania!

  • ananth babladi

Went to swimco. There are other shops there as well and a couple of restaurants, can't remember the names. But because of its close proximity to South centre mall, people might not know about this small strip place.

  • Sani Kurbegovic

Be aware for cops at this plaza as they looking for cars with tinted windows , make sure before you enter this plaza to roll your windows down. Cops are hyenas and will pull you over even if you're already parked!

  • Colleen Youngs

  • gary williams

Great little area with high end willow park liquor store and specialty shops like fresh fish and cheese mongers to name a few ,definitely a mall /village worth checking out.
