I worked with Andy & Kris at Windy City Painters to repair some water damage to my plaster ceilings (caused by leaks from the radiators in the unit above) and highly recommend their services. Andy's responses were prompt, thorough and thoughtful and I had a detailed treatment plan and estimate provided within about a day of submitting my inquiry (by contrast, some other highly recommended painters that I contacted for bids still have not responded, even weeks later!). Pricing was very reasonable and in line with quotes that I eventually received from other providers (especially considering the level of service provided). Even better - Andy was able to squeeze me onto the schedule during a brief window where my new condo would be unoccupied - saving me the headache of having to rearrange furniture for this work to be completed. I have had a few people out to repair various drywall things over the years and none have been anywhere close to the level of service I got from Windy City Painters. Most of the other services I've gotten have been terrible from rude employees to the drywall not even remotely matching the area around it. I called them out to repair my kitchen ceiling as there was a leak from a skylight. Andy asked for some photos and gave me a quote via email. The quote was very accurate; within $15 of the final price. Kris arrived on time and was very professional. He tarped the area so drywall dust wouldn't go all over my home, repaired the drywall/insulation, mudded, and painted the entire ceiling so the color would match all in one day. It looks like there was never any damage at all. I'll be using Windy City Painters for all my drywall needs from here on out.

Andy and Kris from Windy City Painters did a wonderful job! Andy came and did the initial quote and had such great, honest advice about the wallpaper I wanted to install. Kris worked out our new condo over the course of two days and put up gorgeous wallpaper (I really am not sure how he did some of the tiny detail work, it is immaculate!), took out an old security system and patched it up so it did not interrupt the pattern, did some painting, and installed a light fixture! He was extremely professional and kind, and just did a fantastic job. Our wallpaper looks amazing, and having one person be able to do all of the other work around the space (lighting, patching, painting) was so nice. Highly recommend!

I’ve painted many apartment walls in my life but when we bought a house we decided to hire painters for the first time. I’m just blown away, I could never have done such an amazing job. Some of the rooms in our home looked dated and we can’t afford big renovations, but a new coat of paint makes them look so fresh and clean. Camilo was very nice to work with, he was very thorough with asking what we wanted done with nail holes and making sure that everything was left where he found it. And SO FAST. We hired Windy City Painters to paint all of the interior walls/rooms of our condo. It was a smooth and enjoyable process from start to finish. During the quote, Andy was very helpful in helping us think about the type/quality of paint to use, and gave suggestions on areas that needed fixed/new paint. He was very knowledgeable and helpful. Camilo painted a bedroom, enclosed porch and two staircases in 4 days. Ceilings were repaired, damaged wood trim was repaired and repainted. Old wooden window trim were sanded, patched, and painted. Damaged walls were sanded, patched, and repainted as well. Terrific communication from Camilo- he reached out to me every day to see if I had any concerns that needed addressing. He was punctual and most importantly, the quality of the work was outstanding. I would definitely hire this company again- my expectations were exceeded.

Camilo just painted my bedroom yesterday and did such a great job! The walls were in rough shape and he took the extra time to sand and properly prep them, which really helped the final look. The paint job itself looks beautiful and expertly done. Camilo put the room back exactly as he found it and even straightened my uneven blinds so it would look nicer, which is a small thing but really says a lot about the care he took. He was friendly and polite and I would absolutely hire him again!

I hired Windy City Painters to refinish and paint our metal back deck and I had a good experience. Our deck had some damage that needed to be addressed, but I was able to work with Andy to get a quote for both the deck refinishing and the metal work, through a contractor he uses. Highly recommend this company! They were super prompt and responsive and very professional. They even took their shoes off before coming in and were very careful of pets which was appreciated. My kitchen ceiling was really messed up by a crazy electrician who cut some holes to wire a light. Camilo came to patch up the holes. He did an amazing job! You can't even tell what a nightmare the ceiling was. And he was nice enough to reinstall the light fixture that the electrician installed wrong.
