I went here because of all of the good reviews. I have white-coat anxiety and I really can't stand being in doctor's offices, so I thought Dr. Shaya would be a good match for me. I had an issue with GERD/acid reflux and just wanted a famotidine prescription (very common). First, they had an intern talk to me and she was condescending and rude. Dr. Shaya followed after. I found his demeanor to be dismissive and uncomfortable. Then, I heard him and the intern talking bad about me in the next room! Incredibly unprofessional. I left the appointment in tears. I got a famotidine prescription from another doctor, and now a year later, I am completely off acid reflux medication and doing great. Dr. Shaya could've helped me but his attitude and approach with patients is one I never want to experience again.

I have not had the good fortune to have a proper review of doctor but I do have one of his staff. My advice, to get new practice help such as in front desk because they just wasted my day by giving me the run around .First by asking me the full name of my insurance, Blue Cross Blue shield Silver was not good enough apparently so I got my card and called back with that information in hand and asked if he was accepting new patients, she said yes . However, If my primary care was not the one I had listed (they were not taking new patients) I would have to call Blue Cross and get a referral number. I did that , called back and was told we have no appointments till June! Obviously, they are not interested in doing all the new patient paper work. So you wont be getting me as a new patient.

Brilliant experience.Walked in and was seen within minutes. Office staff were friendly and extremely helpful.Doctor was amazing! He addressed my concerns and was caring,compassionate and friendly. Doctor asked if I had received my flu shot this year and I stated I had not. He asked if I would like one at no extra charge. Total cost for emergency walk in visit ,flu shot and excellent care $100! They also offer health care insurance for primary care at their facility through Smart Choice for $90 per month. No co pays no deductibles and blood work.x-rays can be done in office.What a phenomenal price for exceptional primary care! (I was quoted $480 a month for Obama Care) I highly recommend this urgent care facility and I am signing up for Smart Choice insurance.

I am fortunate to have Dr. Shaya as my primary. I've been with Humana for years and have gone through several primary care physicians. Dr. Shaya, hands down, is the best PCP I've ever had. Just had ankle surgery, my ankle looks like a shark attack, and I haven't seen my ortho surgeon since day of surgery, 7-13-22. The nurses at Humana contacted Dr. Shaya. I had a video visit with him and completely respect his opinions. If I could transfer my post-OP care to Dr. Shaya, I would in a second. I know as long as he's watching, I'm going to get better. The staff is extremely friendly and warm. They actually have a great sense of humor which makes you feel very welcome. They place is always open and available anytime i have called with a question. Now to Dr shaya, i cant say enough good things about him. He is totally caring and goes out of his way to please and help you. You will feel totally at ease when under his care. He is probably the 1st doctor i felt comfortable with regarding my health.

I picked this doctor based on 1) approved through my insurance and 2) I read some good reviews. I loved my last doctor, but unfortunately could no longer see him as he developed some health issues. I was very much delighted when I found out my new doctor is not only friends with my former, but is also HIS doctor! Extremely personal, and gets down to basics without trying to solve everything with medication. Tries to find out what your needs are.

I selected Smart Choice Urgent Care and Primary Care from a Google Search, looking for a service in my area that also had good reviews. I had never been to an urgent care and was somewhat anxious about doing so. I did not have a serious medical need.. To my great and pleasant surprise, the staff were very professional as was the doc. Without question, I would use them again.

Dr. Shaya and his staff make me feel like family - they are very detailed to my visit as I moved from Miami and I need a family doctor- Dr. Shaya went over my medical record and I am glad I choose this practice as I can give them 5 Stars for the best high service and I will recommend his practice to all my friends and family. I was in the office less than 15min before being called to the back, and that included me completing new patient paperwork. Doctor Shaya was very personable, and the young lady who took care of pre-op for me was extremely sweet & personable as well. I highly recommend Dr. Shaya to anyone who may be seeking a PCP!

Dr Shaya is the first doc I had in a few years who I feel is straight forward, isn't looking to push meds, is proactive instead of reactive. He is easy to discuss issues with and extremely knowledgeable. His staff is top notch and the nurses are great at their job too.

Front Desk really kind and helpful regarding insurance etc. Nurse was very friendly. All 3 staff members today were very professional and easygoing. Dr. Hunt is attentive , professional and thorough. He easily explains medications and conditions.
