Ive been ordering from this place for the past 5 years...the food has always been really good..At some point, it seems like theyre under new management and the food has gotten even better..I didnt even think that was possible! Everything is always above and beyond expectations as if, unlike other establishments, they actually take pride in serving the best of the best. I have NEVER been disappointed and Im a bit ashamed that Ive never posted a review in the entire 5 years I ordered from them. I always get the bbq spareribs, cheese rolls and usually some other variable but the fact they are consistant, is what keeps me loyal. I cant even eat at other chinese food places because they are nowhere near as good as this specific Wok N Roll. After the shutdown and they were closed i DID go thru a diff drive-thru down Normandy and the food was sub par at best. I ended up feeing it to my dogs and ordered pizza for myself.. As soon as i got the text that they were open again, i was so excited that I told my mom and brother that they were open and i ordered from them the same day. No other Chinese food spot could possibly compare to this place. What prompted my review today is that theyve changed the way that they do the fried dumplings but I'm not sure when.. In the past, they seemed to be more pan fried but still delicious. TODAY, they came and it seemed like theyre deep fried, like they do in the traditional eat in Chinese restaurants( my go to is Pagoda on Baymeadows Rd because their have really good dim sum).. I was so excited about this because i prefer them cooked by this method and now that's how theyre doing it! How amazing is that!? The dumplings were already good, the pan fried way, but the fact that they are now doing it the deep fried way, I'm over the moon! I have nothing but accolades for this restaurant and the only thing i ever hoped for was the deep fried dumplings and a dim sim situation, specifically steamed pork buns..but after today, there's nothing anyone can tell me about any other Chinese restaurant! I do wish they'd do dim sum, but MAN their food is so good and perfectly prepared, who needs dim sum..those fried dumplings today, THOSE are what confirmed that the Wok N Roll on Edgewood is def the best of the best. They never disappoint . i will say that their food is a buck or 2 more than other places but the quality and quanitity alone make up for that 1 or 2 bucks..I'm forever a stan. Do yourself a favor and give them a shot, you'll be ruined for all other chinese food places.. Also, shout out to the delivery driver, he's always such a adorable sweetheart.. Really sweet guy and always has a mask on. Keep it up you guys, I'll be a fan forever!

Please don't waste your time here. My order was 30 something dollars and we got it delivered. My husband gave the driver a 50$ bill and the driver REFUSESD to give the change back to my husband saying it was required to tip. We were gonna tip the man anyways but the point was he wasn't going to give us our change back. As the driver was leaving he told my husband we should of ordered door dash instead. I got in contact with the restaurant manager to which he told me 99.99999% of people tip. Like I said we were going to tip him the point was he refused to give us the change and demanded a tip. The manager then told me it was my husbands fault because the driverdidnt speak English. All he kept saying was people usually tip. THE POINT WAS THE DELIVERY DRIVER WAS RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL AND THE MANAGER STILL NLAMED US. I even asked the manager does he let his employees do that tip customers which he replied with my address was 5 miles au not 3. They could of refused my service like the others did if the drive was an issue. All the manager did was make it seem like our fault. Why would you think its okay to demand a tip and try to just leave with the money. Even upon us going to tip him making a rude comment when it was brought up. Please do better

Went in to order because we really liked their food. Once in the restaurant asked for the difference between 2 types of food and was answered then came back to the first one again and asked what was in it that is when the young gentleman said I already told you in the rudest manner possible. We then left and I went back in to complain and I assume the store manager just stood there like he had no idea what I was saying all the while the young gentleman in the same attitude was still arguing and being totally disrespectful still being rude. This is not acceptable anywhere. Worst customer service I have ever received. See where their service is a constant problem so I suggest we as a group of concerned citizens not go there for a while maybe that would straighten the up. Drive down the road to riverside and go to China Joy on Margret St. atmosphere is great and the staff is amazing. WOK N ROLL DISRESPECTFUL AND RUDE!!

They are absolutely the best Chinese takee outee!!! They are Always and I mean always the nicest staff and food is the best!!!! And the price is the best also. Wok N Roll fits in with its counterparts on the hill, not fancy.. but delicious. We have been eating here since before COVID and their quality has not changed. The portions are huge and the price has remained reasonable. We grab an assortment of the following: general tso, happy family, house chow mei fun, wonton egg drop soup, crab rangoon, and fried wontons. I've never had an item missing and everything is piping hot. The only true downside is sometimes they are closed during regular business hours. Call ahead because they are busy and the waiting area is small.

So I ordered delivery, I got lost in a movie and realized my food hadn’t arrived yet. So I called up to the restaurant and ask what was going on. They told me the driver left and was on his way. I get a call back from the restaurant saying that the driver has a flat and that they were sorry for the inconvenience. Followed by another call from the Store Manager calling to say he was sorry that they didn’t deliver to my area. At which point I told the store manager to not lie to me and insult my intelligence. If you mess up, admit it. Don’t do like this guy and try and cover. Your staff is way better than you are mister Store manager you could take some notes..

This is the only place I will order Chinese from. I have never had an issue but today they got my order wrong. I called and they said they would send out a new order. I told them I would repack all the food and would give it back. I said “I just want to not cook or do dishes” lol. They sent me a new order pretty fast and the owner told the driver to tell me to keep the other order that was wrong and apologized. When I opened the new order not only was everything amazing but they also sent paper plates for us to use so I didn’t have to do dishes! Awesome customer service! The food is always great and the people are friendly! A big 5 stars!!!

I ordered delivery and it arrived around the 30 minutes they said it would get here and I received my complete order. I ordered a chicken curry combo that came with a egg roll , which I switched for a spring roll that was tasty, and they packed that container full with the pork fried rice and a good portion of the chicken curry (more meat than I usually get from a Chinese restaurant). The curry and rice flavors were excellent! I would highly recommend this restaurant if the rest of the dishes are of the same quality! Thanks Wok n Roll for the good food!

Food was delicious and reasonably priced considering they didnt skimp on the meat or vegetables like a lot of places do. I also liked that you can substitute sides on the dinner combination including soups and different types of lo mein (theres an upcharge but it's worth it!) Crab rangoon actually had imitation crab that you could taste. We got general tso w/ house lo mein, shrimp w/ garlic sauce and vegetable lo mein, and wonton soup. Liked it all

THEY ARE SUPER KIND AND MAKE THE FOOD FAST........HOWEVER....... I have eaten here twice and both times i have got extremely sick. Today I was sick after about an hour after eating. My friends and family who got different combos also became sick both times eating here as well. Tried it once and got sick. Gave them another shot and got sick again. . Gross. I don't think it seems very clean in there and the food quality is below par. 2 stars only because the people working are so friendly.

The amount of food was unbelievable. My son was not feeling well so we ordered him the egg drop soup to help his belly. I tried the burboun chicken and couldn’t even finish half. My mother in law shared her sweet and sour chicken with my other son since the portions were so big. The taste was delicious. Kristy took our order and was super nice. I highly recommend this place! Whenever I am craving Chinese food, I order it here. It helps that Im in the area, but I remember ordering Chinese food elsewhere and being unimpressed. I usually like this place however the order i just got made me change my complete view of it. I ordered sweet and sour soup had to pay an extra dollar for mushrooms and the soup had absolutely no taste to it. None. The crispy noodles I paid extra for are stale. The fried chicken I bought was greasy and salty like it was fried in old grease. I am very upset about wasting my money on food that I can't eat.

Good food and fast service. A serviceable alternative to cooking in the evening. Purchasing food from there for over a decade and rarely had a bad experience. "House" specials are always delicious. (Soup, Lo Mein, Fried Rice) Avoid breaded, deep fried shrimp, It's the only thing I've eaten there that has ever been sub-par, and is almost never good.

The first time I ate here it was delicious. I ordered beef and broccoli with white rice and there were no problems. Today I ordered general Tso's which is my usual anytime I eat Chinese. It was disgusting, it tasted like they refried old chicken from a week ago and added sauce to it. Moral of the story their food can be good but it's inconsistent.

I eat there quite often food is good. Very dissapointed in the service. I missed the lunch special by 1 minute said they can't give it to me. I said i would buy the combo i only have enough for the lunch special. They refused to work with me. They didn't make any money and lost a good customer. I ordered my usual on 7/12/19 and the person who delivered my food.. was very RUDE and DISRESPECTFUL.. I only tip if u come to me with respect. I tried calling to complain and they hung up on me twice. The delivery driver had the nerve to say I better tip next time well guess what buddy because of that comment I wont be ordering again

So me and my girlfriend had come here. Total our bill was roughly 22$. We pay then go home to eat. And hour later she gets an alert on her phone that her card was billed a second time. We called them and they kept passing the phone around. Needless to say, they lost us as customers. Becareful with your debit cards with them.

I love the food. I have for years. I travel 20 minutes just to eat from there. The last few times I've eaten here I've noticed the quality isn't the same. However, the chubby girl who works the register a lot is very rude and acts as if your questions are bothering her. If she is rude to my family again I will not return.

When i order 'hot and sour soup' that's what i want. Understand that you utilize fish sauce in your cooking. All about that. However, if i wanted Fish Soup, I would have said that. Might as well just put the head of a fish in my soup, smile, and send me on my way. Absolutely awful. Wouldn't feed it to my dogs.

The place has decent food. Nothing to write home about really. The part we like is the food is consistent. If you do order something and find that you enjoy it, you can get the same thing again another day. It will BE THE SAME. The delivery folks are kinda sketchy but nothing bad had ever happened.

This takeout place has delicious food. I would have given 5 stars, but the counter person is greatly lacking in customer svc skills. She may say thank you 1 of 5 visits & my order has been wrong a couple times. I will be checking before I leave store from now on. Again the food is yummy!

Ordered food on line through their website at 820. Called inquiring about food at 920. Was told they couldn't access my info and would call right back. It's not 10pm and store is closed. No food, no call back, no info and money has not been returned to my account. Would not recommend.

Gotta say....do dig the speed of delivery, amount of food, and affordable price. I order here constantly and am more often than not satisfied. You can't expect the world, but you can get a decent meal, for a decent price, and not have to leave your house.

Everything I ordered was super yummy, and it was ready really fast, even though it was a Friday. I also really liked the option to order online. I wouldn't count on dining in since the place is very small, but it's great for takeout, and they deliver.

I'm from NY so I can easily say I know good Chinese food. This is the ONLY spot on the west side we eat at. Large portions. Flavorful. Nice staff. And the pepper chicken is delicious!! Ask for an extra egg in your fried rice, promise you'll love it.

Tried for the first time today. Not really a big Chinese food fan but this place is great. Gyoza killed it, big portion. Everything I ordered was delicious. Delivery came fast and online website is super easy to use and order.
