The best chinese take-out/delivery place in the area. I ate here for years when I lived on that side of town. Growing up we would always order Hunan Wok because they were the best in the area after Silver Dragon closed down, but then discovered this place in high school and never looked back. The prices are normal for this type of place and the food is GREAT. The sesame chicken or pork w/ broccoli are my favorites, but the chow mei fun, house fried rice, seafood delight, moo goo gai pain, spare ribs, chicken/beef on a stick, and dozens of other menu items are all delicious. I would often try something new or different and would seldom be disappointed. The chicken wings are also good and a very popular item due to their price. I don't know if it's still that way, but they would cook the entire chicken wing, not just the drum or flat. The owners are very nice and their sons are a riot. Yes, the older one will often help people at the register but he knows what he's doing and it's good practice for him to be running things and interacting with people. I have seen them sit down to have a family meal together late at night towards closing, but this is a family owned restaurant and they're eating at the tables where they should be, not in the back where they prepare food . No matter where I live or move to, this will probably be my favorite chinese restaurant ever.

I came to the restaurant after a hard days of work and tried the orange chicken and fried rice. The boy that took my order was very friendly and prompt for my needs. I only waited for 5 minutes and my food came out hot and ready. The boy behind the counter handed me my plate with a happy smile and said "Here you go my good sir". I took a bite of the orange chicken and it was bursting in flavor. This was the best plate of food I have ever eaten in YEARS. I will be sure to come back AGAIN for years to come.

If it would give an option for zero stars, that's what I would give them. The boy that answered the phone was rude and acted like me calling to order food was inconveniencing him. Then when I picked my Food up he tried to short my change. I asked for 6 packets of duck sauce at first he ignored me so I asked him again. He rolled his eyes and gave me 2 packs for a bunch of egg rolls. The won ton soup tasted like it was in yellow colored water it had no taste at all. The fried noodles were stale. The egg rolls were mostly wrap with barely anything inside it that tasted like it was cooked in old grease. I took 1 bite of the soup and an egg roll and threw them away. I will never go there again. I would not recommend wasting your money of your time on this place.

It's not that the food isn't decent, it's okay not great, but the people who own this and work here are HORRIBLE. Aside from the wife, who was a sweetheart, they do not know customer service or common decency. My first experience was awful and I never wrote about it but after how rude the takeout person was on the phone when I decided to attempt again...just nah. Let me be clear, it was something as simple as "yes, I would like the smallest order of that if possible please"-me "well yeah, I said a small"-takeoutperson. I worked in the restaurant industry serving and bartending for 10 years, I show the utmost kindness to restaurant staff, so it's just unnecessary rudeness for no reason not me being a Karen or making crazy requests.

Wish i could give a 0 rating... My daughter ordered from them on September 6th 25$ worth of food and her order was completely meased up and i called them 5 minute after the driver left and i was told that they were sorry to hear about her order and she would receive a free meal for the inconvenience.. I called them tonight at 915pm and a very rude lady told me that the manager was not in and to stop playing not to call her anymore. I called back and she hung up on me twice. I do not suggest anyone ordering from them. They will mess up your food promise to replace the meal and when you try to recieve it they will be very rude and hang up not give back money for your meal ect... Im also reporting them to the bbb.

Literally the worst quality food I've ever had. We waited an hour and a half to get it delivered and the food was beyond bland, my sweet and sour chicken was burnt completely. The crab rangoon had no filling or flavor. When we called them back we were told "If we wanted our money back, we shouldnt have touched the food" and was hung up on. I called back and asked her to come get the rest of her food and she hung up on me again. NEVER eating at this establishment again and will be contacting the BBB for my refund. After the APP company calling the place to get our money back, they even told them to come pick up our food they delievered to us. THEY STILL REFUSED TO REFUND. TERRIBLE TERRIBLE TERRIBLE BUSINESS.

Use woknroll website not that singleplatform website for menu reference. I'm not sure when the last time it had sushi... We wanted to try a new takeout place as Chinese near Publix is kinda bland( the orange sesame and Tso there taste pretty close:( ). We walked in and ordered two combos and it was ready under ten minutes. Most Chinese delivery isn't fast so we don't bother with calling in. The food was hot,fresh, and a good portion. Chicken pad Thai was yummy and so was sesame chicken. I was a lil disappointed that Sesame only came with two under steamed broccoli pieces. Lady who took ordered wasn't rude but wasn't friendly either.

Decided I wanted some eggdrop wonton soup and dumplings. Had to order and eggroll to get delivery 'cause I was $.50 under 10 dollars, which is fine. What wasnt fine is the food. The soup was so thick with cornstarch it tasted like you were eating snot. The dumplings were way too doughy and the eggroll was just not good and you could taste how old their oil is and that it needs to be changed. Then the fried woton shreds or whatever they gave me to put in my soup, just like the eggroll you could taste how old the oil is and that it needed to be changed. The only things that were good were the typical sauces that come with your meal.

Worst food ever!!! I've ate at a couple different Chinese food restaurants and this is by far the worst!!!! Ordered combanation lomain, the rice was dry, and there was only 2 small shrimp in the noodles, and a little bit of tiny shredded beef... in fact there was more green onion then anything else... waste of money, order took too long and the genius cooking the meal had headphones on the whole time while a 12 year old took the order and told me that combanation lomain and happy family were the same dish. ... I hope the they catch the illness that their people are spreading to us the next time they eat mcdonalds hahahaba

Pretty much how I'd describe their food is: meh. Just meh. We have ordered from them a few times and always gotten blah food. I decided to order from them again since they were on GrubHub and it was a mistake. Crab rangoons had tiny amounts of filling, pretty much all crust. Orange peel beef was awful... instead of using the orange peels they claim in the description it's just the same crap they use for orange chicken. Huge unappetizing chunks. At least I only spent $8 on them. Won't be ordering from them again..

Placed an order online for delivery. The estimated time was less than hour. The estimated time goes by so I call to see what's going on. The woman that answers was not only rude as can be but acted like we were inconveniencing her by calling. Then she tells us it's gonna be another 30 minutes on top of the hour that's already passed and ends the call with "ok bye". Our usual delivery place was closed so we thought we would try this place. We will not be returning. Extremely disappointed.

I was born and raised in china, so I know the authentic taste. I ordered beef with vegetables and chicken pad thai. Pad thai is WAY better than the other chinese places Ive had before, but if you want an authentic pad thai, go to a thai resto lol I also know it was stir fried in a wok, good tasting sauce and theres eggs thank god. Beef is so tender! Great chinese taste. Overall the food is awesome compared to Grand Asian (another chinese resto on merill) I cant wait to order other food!

I loved their Chinese food!! I moved to Jacksonville a month ago, and I found Wok n Roll. I fell in love at first bit, when I tasted the Singapore style rice noodles. BUT, after my third time ordering from there i found a Huge bug in my noodles. I know Ive them asked to hold the onions, but I didn't know I would have to ask them to hold the bugs. At this point, It saddens me to say that I'm officially disgusted with this place. I will never eat there again. UGH!

One of the things thats makes a good Chinese food the best is the rice. The rice was hard like it was old not fresh and two full orders of food and three packs of soy sauce. The bourbon chicken was good but piled so much vegetables that i barely had much meat the fried chicken was ok and the egg roll was on the tiny side. Delivery was fast though. Needless to say I'm glad I had a promo code through grub hub and didn't pay full price..go somewhere else!

They gave me the wrong order. When I called to to ask if they could send the right order they told me I could come in and buy it for 50% off. The food had mushrooms in it and the person who was supposed to eat is deathly allergic to it. But they didn’t care about any of that. So I paid almost 30 bucks for food no one could eat. I’ve never had such horrible customer service in my life and will never eat there again. Clearly food allergies don’t matter to them.

I had a take out order yesterday of honey chicken and house fried rice/no veggies and a side order of chicken wings. It was Absolutely AMAZING. Today is April 22, 2022 and if I could give a zero star I would, the food is okay if you don't mind a little boy or two shoving his fingers in his mouth, up his nose or up his shirt and then touching your food, they look about 14, they were also rude, if you are going to have children working for you atleast teach them decent customer service, touching everything around them before touching my food. Absolutely disgusting especially with covid going on .

I don't know what all the negative reviews are about,they are extremely hard to believe. I order delivery from Hot Wok all the time,no matter what I order its always Quality and Quantity,Always Hot,Delicious and on time. I called my order in, the owners CHILD took my order! When I picked up my order, I check it and it was WRONG. I suggested to his mother or whoever the woman is that an ADULT take orders. Not only was the order wrong, the CHILD was very rude to me when I brought it to the Womans attention. Children should NEVER be allowed to disrespect your customers. While you location is convenient to my home, I will go somewhere else for my Chinese.

Rude ass woman answered the phone and set it down. Hung up and called back and THEN she asked me to hold. She had a rude attitude the entire call as if me calling to order delivery was a hassle for her. I had to ask for the total and the estimated delivery time, to which she AGAIN seemed overly bothered about. There are nearly 20 Chinese delivery places in Arlington, no need to act like you're the only quick meal in town!

I had alot of hard pieces in my burbin chicken that was dryed out... I paid $10 and change for my food.. Went to the manager explained the situation then he only apologize for the food being nasty and that's it... Didn't offer to make it up or anything.... My family has been ordering here for almost 4 years now and they have always been polite and fast everything we have ever tried from there has been wonderful! The son runs the registers sometimes but he is a well mannered and does his job well and I think it's wonderful that they are family oriented like that!

I had the nastiest thing happen to me! They gave me soy sauce to go with my meal, no problem. I open the sauce packet and it had solidified!!! It was disgusting. Then when I took it back to the restaurant, she told me I was lying and making it up and refused a refund or remade food. I will never go back.

Had Wok N Roll for the first time today, easy to order online, food came fast and hot, thanks to Grub hub, enjoyed everything, sweet and sour chicken, cashew chicken, beef n broccoli. The rice was perfectly cooked, and the donuts were yummy for the tummy! I would recommend this restaurant to everyone.

Lo mein had shards of metal in it. I think from a metal sponge to clean the pan it was cooked in. The seafood delight has absolutely no flavor and they use the worst quality imitation lobster and crab. Go somewhere else.
