Wok house is kind of a mixed bag. Their egg drop soup is thick and tasty, the noodles are crunchy. Their fried rice is strange. It seems like it's just yellow rice instead of white rice with some onion thrown in. It's not the type of fried rice that I'm used to. We decided to pay extra and get the shrimp fried rice today and it's exactly like the regular fried rice we got earlier in the week. There's definitely no shrimp in there. Either way, it tastes just like the plain steamed rice. So I think we're done paying extra for fried rice at this place and will just go with steamed from now on. We usually get shrimp meals. Tonight, shrimp egg Foo Yung and 5 fried shrimp. The fried shrimp was heavily breaded not exactly what we were expecting but ok. The Foo Yung as well as the shrimp lo mein and shrimp with veggies that we got earlier in the week, seem to be a bit light on the shrimp content, unlike the place we go in Virginia that really loads the shrimp on. The food seems good and fresh. I'm going to go ahead and give it 4 stars, despite being severely disappointed with the fried rice options.

I've lived on that side of town for almost 8 years and today I order regular order Beef and Broccoli. The beef was uncooked and it was pink, very noticeable. I called immediately when it was brought to my attention. Unfortunately, I received no respect. I asked for the manager and I told her about the situation. The first thing she said was "bring it here and I'll make another one" and I told her in return "I'm not calling to ask for compensation of any sort" and she said "you said, my meat, right?". I'm not worried about my self, I'm worried that my baby sister will get sick. From the beginning my intention was to let her know and be aware of so it won't happen to someone else. It was unfortunate that she didn't even say sorry. Never Chinese food again. People, you need to check the food before you feed it to a child.

There was pee on the floor in the bathroom. 1 of them came from the back, so called mopped it up. Really just spread it around on the floor. He went to the back abf put the mop up. Didn't wash his hands. Picked up some rags and did something with them. Then went to fixing my food with his bare hands. I asked the young guy that took my order, was that my shrimp he touching. It was. I told him the guy did not wash his hands. They gave me a refund instead of having him wash his hands or someone else fix it. Meanwhile,the guy who hadn't washed his hands from cleaning the bathroom, opens a big bag of what looked like imitation crab and proceeds to rub his hands all over it! Most disgusting thing ever!!!

I decided on this place randomly one night because I didn't know what I wanted to eat and hadn't had chinese food in a long time. I ordered a large beef lo mein w extra meat. I picked it up, paid, and went home. Staff was average. When I got home and opened the stapled bag, then opened the stapled Styrofoam container containing the noodles, I knew as soon as I looked at it that something wast right. The noodles were way under cooked and tasted doughty, there was little to no sauce anywhere in the dish so it was all totally dry, and there was barely any meat in there. I immediately called and explained this food is inedible and they took it back for a refund. WILL NOT COME BACK HERE EVER

Ordered delivery during some nasty weather, and this Wok House next to Publix really came through for our family. The food came very hot and was very delicious, we didn’t order very much but have been eating leftovers for days. We love getting the spare ribs from here, they are delicious when fresh and almost equally as tasty cold. No idea why the rating is lower here, they’re excellent and always do their best to give great quality food. They deserve 5 stars.

I'm really torn here. The food is really very good. But I hate phoning in an order. There's a Caucasian girl who often takes the orders. She has nooo customer service skills. I think they need to send her to a class on how to be pleasant and treat customers like you want them to come back. 4 times I have ordered with her. She's hung up on me 4 times. Doesn't get my order correct, treats me with disdain because I've pointed out (nicely) that she come across rude and has hung up on me several times. I've chosen other eateries because I don't want to deal with her. But the paradox is, their food is really good.

Been ordering from this place for over two years , the quality has gone down drastically and the prices have gone sky rocket , they don’t appreciate customers the kids who work are great but the older Woman is always rude…. The foods never fresh also when u call after they make a mistake the woman Will literally fight you tooth and nail not to fix the issue ….. never going back , we now go to china house all the way in regency rather drive and pick up food then ever go back here …. The meal was nasty it didn't even taste like bourbon chicken I have a wok house by my house the I order from all the time they are amazing I don't see myself ever ordering from here again. Also had all my juice from my food all over everything I couldn't open the platter BC it was stapled shut and I ordered chop sticks which is on my menu and I didn't get it also asked if it comes with a egg roll and my fortune cookie which u didn't even get my cookie. This place sucks big time. Crappy job at making customer happy. Will be letting people know.

I don't write many reviews, but this place really deserves one. I'm very picky about chinese restaurants, and it's very hard for me to find one that I'll go back to unless I have to, but this place is AMAZING. Everything I've tried from there is fantastic. They have messed up my order once or twice (giving me lo mein instead of rice), but it's been so good I haven't had to complain. I haven't tried their delivery service, but they're right down the street so I don't have to. I absolutely LOVE this place.

Overpriced and small quantity. Who pays 16.00 for broccoli with brown sauce for 7.75 and 5 chicken wings for 5 dollars. Places the orders incorrectly. Corrects the order and asks if i can find different of 1.07 cash from Publix. She said we can't swipe for less than 5. I said refund it all or waive it. She asked another cx if my charge can be added to her order. She flipped out! I was already pissed.. the lady left and stayed shes reporting if there are unauthorized charges other than her food.!

Three stars for the quality of my order. The customer service is lacking. Whoever answers the phone has a terrible attitude and doesn’t know how to speak to people who are contributing to her paycheck. Also, sending out delivery drivers with no change on them, after I specifically said that I would need change. I did plan to tip, but not 50%. Will not be ordering from here again, as there are plenty of other options in the area that treat customers with respect

I will never ever order fron this place again. My food was undercooked, and have suffered food poisoning symptoms all night. I have always been a returning customer but this time its not happening. I will make sure all my friends, family, and co workers know not to order from this place anymore. The person who answers the phone there is rude most of the time and you have to repear yourself on multiple occassiond when placing your order. Absolutely disgusted

Unfortunately I have to agree with the countless others..the food is bland it lacks any flavor. I ONLY ordered rice and gravy for my kids, the rice had a little too much moisture and the gravy was completely tasteless..this is the same gravy they use for the egg foo young dish that clearly indicates the meat would be tasteless too. I won't be back. Hopefully they use the reviews to improve their food

I live right down the street and eat Wok House very often. I love it. The food is always hot and delicious, the service is insanely good. Their delivery drivers are prompt and nice and they even come late close to closing time! The food is the pretty standard Chinese take out food no crazy specials or house deals, but all the menu items even down to the eggrolls and soup are done extraordinarily well. Its a very solid choice for the area.

We ordered delivery from this business. We provided our address, they accepted the order and gave an ETA of 45 minutes. 45 minutes after ordering, when they were due to arrive, they called us to tell us do they would not be coming, that they dont deliver that far away (10 minutes away). That's all well and fine, having a distance cap, I understand that. I don't understand, however, the 45 minutes it took them to contact us and cancel.

Do not recommend. I ordered shrimp fried rice, not only did they get my order wrong but there was barely any protein and the rice was bland. It's not even fried rice, just yellow rice with vegetables and mystery meat. I think they just change your order whenever they don't feel like making what you asked for. I don't care if you're just hungry and on a budget, do NOT eat here.

I ordered a simple pork fried rice and it tasted sour like it was from a previous batch also the egg wasn't cooked all the way through the fried dumplings were okay though. We haven't ordered from Wok House in a while but decided to give them a call on Easter. Placed the order over the phone and was told it would take 45min. the food was at my door in less then 20min. I had the Bourbon Chick combo. My wife the Chicken , snow peas with white rice and black bean sauce, both were very good with my wife's tasting like fine restaurant quality. I will not be waiting so long to order from them again

I gave them two chances and both times they have disappointed. I always order bourbon chicken from Chinese restaurants and this the ONLY restaurant where bourbon chicken is some obvious felin (can see facial print in meat) in some red sauce that taste NOTHING like bourbon. I'll NEVER order from here again I thought they may have just made a mistake the first time but no. They are the worst Chinese place I've ever been too.

The sweet and sour shrimp was terrible. Huge rings of breading with a tiny, hard, dried-out shrimp floating around somewhere inside it. The shrimp were tough and brittle, and it was as if this enormous dough ring was created to disguise it. I hate to trash a neighborhood business but there was something very wrong with this food. My stomach is gurgling and lurching five hours later and I’m concerned about food poisoning.

My new favorite Chinese place! The food is always super hot and super fresh, the orange chicken and shrimp lo mein are delicious and perfectly cooked. I’m also a huge fan of their egg rolls. If you’re in the area and looking for a top notch place for Chinese takeout, this is the one. Side note: I live 40 min away and would still prefer to drive here for my Chinese fix than go ANYWHERE on my side of town!!

Worst Chinese food ever. It actually deserves ZERO stars. Fried rice wasn't fried, was bright yellow and flavorless with very few veggies. Chicken was hard as rocks, not edible. No napkins and not enough forks delivered... Attempted to contact management but received no answer or call back. With so many local options definitely don't waste your money here.

Basic Chinese take out. Was hot and fresh. They threw in an extra tea.. Asked for no contact delivery and they actually listened so thats a big plus. Also they forgot my donuts and I was not going to call or anything because it wasn't worth them driving back but they came back all on their own and brought fresh donuts which I thought was really great.

Me and my wife have been going here for years and refuse to get Chinese take out anywhere else. This is the best Chinese food in Jax and you can't beat the price. The portions are always enough to have left overs.

O m g...................... I'm eating my chicken wings right now ........ Literally the BEST CHICKEN WINGS I EVER HAD IN MY MF LIFE. !!!!! I really am shocked though. I ordered vegetable rice with chicken wings not only is it super cheap but it's tooooo freaking good :( and it got delivered pronto ! I'm not exaggerating. It's super good. :)

I ordered the seafood delight which says lobster, shrimp scallops and out of everything there was 1 super small piece of lobster and minimal shrimp more veggies than anything and my egg rolls tasted like they were old and tasted like dish soap, my wife ordered the butterfly shrimp they were hard and crunchy just a overall bad dinner

STAY AWAY! Our first and last time ordering. My boyfriend got shrimp mei fun and the container was dirty and he also found a piece of steel wool from washing dishes in his food. If you guys are reusing old containers at least wash them better and don't leave steel wool in them.

Went there on Christmas to get a lunch special. They wouldn't give me my food for lunch special price. They charged me for a dinner and told me they aren't doing lunch prices that day. This is called price gouging. Everyone knows the only place to get food on Christmas is Chinese so they up the prices. Won't be back.

It was warm when it arrived and didn’t take too long. Other than that it was completely tasteless. Luckily I had some sriracha sauce etc at home because the Szechwan chicken was tasteless If you closed your eyes you wouldn’t know what you were eating Pork egg rolls very skimpy and also tasteless Would not recommend

Usually the very best Pepper Steak meal, but why can't we get some sauce included when we ask for it ?? We are regular customers for years, and when we order, we ask for extra sauce. Sometimes they will do it, today they would not. Also, the egg rolls are normally crunchy and fresh, but today they were soggy.

Crazy long wait then got my food and they didn’t give me my soda I called back and they say I have to pay delivery again. Then they say they didn’t charge me for it. Then she says I didn’t tell her about a soda but she said she read my order back to me with a soda on it. Makes no sense. Wouldn’t even bother.

I work in 13770 beach Blvd barber shop , I used to order some lunch from here , they also have deliver service , if you order more than $10. In the menu #46 Singapore Mi Fen is my favorite dish . it is delicious , and a little bit spicy . Next time , I will try more deferent meals , then recommend it .

So far this is the better of the Chinese restaurants we have found so far. Their food is not heavily saturated oils like others and it is always flavorful. This is out go-to place regardless of the side of town we are on. The prices are on the same level as with other restaurants. Worth the trip.

I've ordered from them a couple of times and I'd say the food is pretty average for Chinese delivery. However this most recent time I ordered from them the dumplings were partially uncooked and the lo mein was just disgusting tasting like they used old pork. Probably won't order from them again.

First off: They told my my food would be 30 minute wait. They took over an hour to get here. So obviously I'm not tipping. On top of the delivery fee ($2.00) So I signed my receipt and the guy stop on the way out the door and demanded a tip. Also their "fried rice" was yellow rice. Never again.

Been eating here since 2005. We full time RV/ travel now, but we get take at least once in the week we're here to see our doctors and care givers. Wonderful food. The Hot and Sour soup is the best I've had and their recipe hasn't changed that I can tell for as long as we've been coming.

Biggest complaint. What they so call Pork Fried Rice, lol! It was Yellow rice, not white, very Dry... with very little meat and veggies.. Over charged for a small container with next to nothing in it and the wrong kind of rice. Never ever had Fried rice like that ever... yellow rice???

After an hour and 20 minutes from placing our order on their website we called them to find out when we should expect delivery. They only then realized their orders weren't coming through from their own website. They didn't think to question why they were only getting phone in orders?

I was not a fan of their food unfortunately. Rice was mushy, chicken had very little flavor, and fried dumplings were not made well (doughy wrappers).

Delivery is beyond slow, tonight's dinner took a hour to arrive and to top it off, they only brought a partial order. There's tons of other place to get the same quality food without the wait. I'll be deleting them from my list, it's too frustrating to deal with them.

Overall, not impressed. Everything lacked flavor - the bourbon chicken, noodles, egg rolls. The chicken was fatty and I kept chewing/finding inedible parts. I don't think I will be back.

Yeah, the food was alright. But they decided my wife and I are out of their delivery zone. Even though we ordered there for over a year & they put flyers in our apartment building this summer. So we will be taking our business to Chinese Wok.

Definitely not the worst I've had, but the fried rice *and* the chicken was unseasoned. Maybe they ran out that day or something, but it was surprisingly bland. Never had bland Chinese food before. Even the soy sauce couldn't save it.

Rubbish, place went down hill don't bother ordering they lie about orders or you'll get old, overcooked food. Its a pity because we ordered from these people for 10+ years. Hell my friend parent owns the place. I RECOMMEND (china lee)

The food is good for the price. The only draw back is the people that take orders. They ALWAYS get the order wrong, even when you correct them to ensure they have your order. Bottom line, don't order over the phone.

If you have another option for Chinese food, go there. The rice is so incredibly bland. I doubt that any seasoning was used. The chicken had a very strange after taste to it. I won't be spending my money here again.

Ordered food for myself and a friend. Had it delivered. It took close to an hour to get the delivery. Once we got it, the bottled soda was expired. Who serves expired anything?? Wok House. That's who.
