The returns system is broken. Wolf & Badger will accept payment on behalf of the merchant, but doesn't take responsibility for refunds resulting in several months-long wait to receive any money back if at all. My refunds have been delayed by months and often depend on me persistently calling customer service. It's not worth the hassle of shopping here. Even though I returned my purchases to the store and Wolf & Badger is responsible for shipping the item back to the merchant, they say it's the merchant who should refund me. Once the store delayed posting my return until I called customer service, and even when they did the merchant did not initiate a refund. I had to call customer service again who communicated with the merchant, but I only received a partial refund in the end. This process took months after the initial process. The second time was pretty similar. I returned an item in-store then months go by with no refund. I called the store again I was informed the merchant had received the return but had not initiated a refund. I did not receive any communication about this until I contacted customer service. I am still waiting for my refund. Do not shop here, it's not worth it.
Quite a disappointing in-store experience. I wanted to return a birthday gift and assumed I would be able to get a store credit note to return at a later date if I didn't see anything I liked. The first member of staff I spoke to said that I would need to choose something there and then and that I wouldn't be able to return the item at a later date either. I felt quite pressurised and when I eventually found something that I thought would be OK another member of staff told me that they didn't do exchanges, only refunds to the same card the purchase was made with. This was quite stressful as obviously the person who had given me the gift hadn't given me their card with which to go back to the store and get a refund. Eventually the first person I spoke to intervened and confirmed I could exchange. I left the store with something I wasn't 100% on as the whole experience was just really not enjoyable and I couldn't wait to get out of there. It doesn't take much to provide a decent shopping experience, but W&B failed miserably on this occasion. Unhelpful, cold and insincere.
I was so looking forward to shopping at the Coal Drops Yard location during a recent vacation to London after being a longtime online shopper. When I entered and browsed around, none of the 3 employees made eye contact, said hello, interacted with me at all, or offered to help me with sizes, and it felt really off-putting. Being from the states, we aren’t as familiar with showroom/store room retail models, and aren’t as aware we may need to ask for sizes (I didn’t figure this out until later on my trip; I just thought the store had almost nothing in my size). I would also have had to ask for help with most of the jewelry and shoes too, and just never did want to because of the vibe/employees’ standoffishness. Ultimately I left without spending a dime at one of the places I was most excited about.
Visited twice just before Christmas to buy presents for my wife and what a joyous experience. Huge assortment of good quality clothes and accessories at very competitive prices. The highlight of my visits were the store manager and various assistants (including Antonia & Lucy) who were all lovely. Helpful, knowledgeable and went out of their way to find what I wanted. I left both days with wonderful gifts for my wife to open on Christmas Day. Thanks to you all. See you soon. Terry
In general this is a very good shop, but I’ve just had something delivered to it, I’ve travelled all the way here for about 40 minutes to get it, and then arrived to see the door say that they’ve closed early today for an event. I totally understand them needing to close early but they should update their timings to mention this to avoid others having this issue.
An interesting place for shopping. It promotes independent brands not easy to find elsewhere. Personnel in charge for jewelry sale should be more prepared. By the way, being a B Corp does not mean to pay less attention to customers.
Fabulous shop with a wonderful selection of independent designers from across the globe. The staff is really helpful and the quality of the products is great. Specially in love with the Brazilian shoe brand Mafalda.
Had a great experience buying Rockett St George products online. Super smooth process and delivery like clockwork. Packed to perfection. Would definitely shop here again.
Marco served us a couple of wonderful Sauvignon blanc spritzers and was most helpful pleasant and chatty we highly recommend the service and the drinks. The place rocks.
