"Nice place for sure"
Always a hub of activity and culture! Families bbqing, dog walkers, volleyball, playgrounds for kids, games, kite fliers, bikers, sailboats to watch... just bring your own fav snacks, a beach chair, some friends and kickback and enjoy! Long trails to walk and bike with fantastic views of the lake and city! Facilities available.
Well maintained boardwalks and beaches. Plenty chairs and benches. Enough washrooms in the stretch. Plenty parking spaces on weekdays. Walked from the Woodbine beach parking to the Balmy beach park and back. It was about 10km. It was a beautiful September day, the walk was pleasant. Enjoyed the beach/lake views.
Can get very crowded in the summer. But overall the best beach in the city . Be prepared to look for parking if lot is full. And always take trash with you. Food and ice cream trycks always there as well as dine in. Paddling and I think jets skis are also available as well.

Nice place for sure. Plenty of people enjoying themselves. Definitely a family place to enjoy, and celebrate parties. It's relaxing. The board walk is long and nice. Overall the park is clean and that's a big plus for me. Finding parking sucks, FYI..
Hidden gem in the city. There's something for everyone here whether it's swimming beach play walking and splash pad and play area and a swimming pool. If your hungry or thirsty there are several options. Restrooms and change area available.
Endless options for all ages while you take in the fresh air and soothing sights and sounds of the beach, boardwalk and bike paths. Two swans swam near where we set up our folding chairs while the 2 year old began his systematic emptying of
Favorite beach at Toronto. I visit here from time to time. You definitely don't want to miss the Victoria Day fireworks, however it will be a mess to go home via TTC due to the large crowd and traffic jam. The best way to visit here is via
One of the best if not the best beach/park in Toronto (in my opinion). The beach part has many sections. One with a large sandy area with lots of volleybal fields and other types of sports. Following that the sand area starts to narrow a
Woodbine Beach Park in Scarborough is more than just a park; it's an experience. Nestled expansively, its cleanliness stands out, making it even more appealing amidst its natural splendor. The picturesque views coupled with its inviting
Such a great green space with ponds and walking trails you almost forget you are in the city until you look west and see the beautiful sky line. I walk my doggy and baby every day here, lots of doggy spaces and kiddo spaces as well. More
Nice walking / running trails. An extension of the beach across the street. There is a kids playground, public washrooms, a small pond, one of the venues of the Beaches jazz festival in the summer, it is the area to be. There are some
Great place for Canada day fireworks. Been there about 15 years ago which was the wild wild west where people were just shooting fireworks - and almost at each other. Now there are lots of cops so it's very toned down so families can
Very beautiful place with beach, sand and walkway and sitting area. People can go for cycling, walk and area for dogs to play. This is the place worth visiting, good place for walk and one can spend good time with family and friends.
The water was clean and a bit more clear, a bit warmer too, it was a pleasant day, although it rained a bit. The beach & park were clean and lifeguards onsite. The washrooms were also cleaned, just a bit old, overall it was good
Great escape from the city. Very accessible by any method of transportation. An ideal place for a walk or a bike ride, also great for running as you follow the Martin Goodman Trail. Always a good vibe and well-maintained.
Lovely place, with huge trees near the shore. There's a boardwalk surrounding the beach where people can walk their dogs. Benches alongside the boardwalk offer a good view of the water on a lovely day. Worth to see.
Much more enjoyable in off season. The area wasn't overcrowded with people who have little respect for the area. It was great being able to walk around in a CLEAN environment without worrying about trash and refuse.
Amazing trails for walking and cycling. The beach stretches a long way with multiple spots varying from sandy shores to rocky spots. For those looking to play volleyball there are around 16 courts available.
Large beach space . Bathing station. Walkway and dedicated cycle route. Not the finest sand and pebbles to walk along the water but can easily spend a whole here enjoying nature. Parking is horrible.
2023 June 4★ What's not to like? Park with a playground and a Free beach in the city. Connected to the Martin Goodman Trail, this park is easily accessible for everyone.
Lovely place to enjoy the summer at the beach. Its a huge place with kiaks availabe to rent. The water is clean and there are life guards until 7:30 pm for our safety.
We went there to watch the fireworks on Canada day and it was a great experience. Although the beach was a bit crowded but it was family friendly and nice.
A stunning park, the beach, always clean, you can barbecue, walk, ride a bike, play different ball games, dogs are allowed, there are playgrounds for kids
A great beach with access to a trail that stretches in either end, access to plenty of volleyball courts, beaches, picnic area, and benches along the way.
Beautiful views, accessible path available to the water not as near but still good. Very clean, including washrooms. Dog friendly as well
Had fun yesterday. A place where you can relax with your family. There is a picnic area. It is kids and pet friendly
Neat and clean, well maintained beach to enjoy summer evenings. Awesome view of fireworks during Canada Day.
Very good place for family picnic, there are two kids play area as well.
