We always get ice coffee from this shop, and while the taste of the ice coffee varies, it tasted horrible today! It was as if the machine had not been properly cleaned, and the soap had mixed with the coffee, and there was even a trace of sourness, which is unusual for coffee. I'm a regular coffee consumer, so I'll notice if there's a problem with the coffee. I got my black coffee-drinking partner try it, and even my mother-in-law who's not a regular coffee drinker and they both agreed that there was something wrong with the coffee. So we complained to the cashier, but they refused to offer us a refund or exchange it for another product because it would come out of their pockets. Understandable, so we requested the boss' phone number. We called him, told him our circumstance, and his response astounded me! He explained that it is an acquired taste and that we are not the first or last to purchase it. Then he tells me to go to the cashier for a refund and never buy that product or from their business again. I have never felt so disgusted by somebody's response when we are informing you that something is wrong with YOUR business' coffee. A simple compensation would've sufficed but you kept that machine up for other people to consume who might get ill! This shows how much you care about your customers. Disgusting! The owner won't even respond or apologize to this. They only praise the positive once. Get humbled. Absolutely pathetic

Xpresso is an absolute gem of affordability! Everything on their menu is priced at a delightful R12, making it a true treat for both mall employees and shoppers alike. During my visit, I indulged in a scrumptious salted caramel hottie, a refreshing orange juice, and a delectable chicken and mushroom quiche, all for a mere total of R36. What a steal! Despite the store having around four customers at the time, I was thoroughly impressed with the efficiency of the sales assistants as they swiftly served everyone in the queue. Their dedication to ensuring a seamless experience was evident and greatly appreciated. While Xpresso's offerings are undoubtedly delightful, it is worth noting that the cleanliness of the store could benefit from some attention. There were occasional spills of sugar and drinks left unattended on the counters by customers, which could be improved upon. Nevertheless, I am immensely grateful to Xpresso for introducing such an amazing concept that prioritizes affordability without compromising on quality and taste. It truly warms my heart to see this consideration for providing a reasonably priced meal. I am already eagerly looking forward to witnessing the growth of more Xpresso shops in the future, spreading their enthusiasm and delightful offerings to even more delighted customers!

Staff were unhelpful - too busy having loud conversations at the back of the shop. The staff in front of shop had to yell several times for the "Barista" to come make our order. Half of the menu was "out of stock"- no hot chocolate, no top deck, no hot chocolate, no salted caramel hottie etc etc... Cashier did not listen to the order and messed up the order... Refused to give the number of the manager or owner of the franchise. Also had to wait 15 mins for a milkshake to be made and brought from the back of the shop after asking repeatedly for the milkshake! Previous experience was also poor, with a Chai latte not being made properly and was so weak it was basically just hot milk... Even for the low prices, this is not worth going to the franchise again. I am saddened by this as initially it was a great treat for ourselves and the kids.

Bought my everyday usual black coffee but single this time and this time I had to pay for the honey since it’s a new rule, that’s not a problem. Only to find out the lady puts in 1 teaspoon of honey instead of them telling me you pay for each teaspoon and she says I don’t use sugar so I was going to taste it you’re suppose to. I bought two more teaspoons and she did not assist me until someone else does. Been here years this is my 1st disappointment brought by the front staff old lady with a mask

I was at xpresso about 15 minutes ago, I ordered a top deck hot chocolate and a dirty chai. I believe that the barista made a mistake when making my order as the dirty chai recipe is with a shot of espresso and chai, but what I received instead of this was hot chocolate with chai in it. This is not at all what I ordered. My order number was 53.
