I picked up a tiramisu charcoal croissant. It was a very average dense pastry lacking proper lamination. Not puffy or airy, and almost doughy in the centre. Not sure what's up with the unwarranted hype detailed in the first couple reviews. Maybe Yello should focus on different breads or pastries as their croissants aren't up to scratch amongst Sydney's saturated patisserie/bakery market.

Most underrated bakery in Sydney at the moment. Get in before they go viral! Pizza was much better than other Sydney CBD offerings (Oti, A.P. Place). Pastries were very well done. Canele is very unique and really tasty with the addition of strawberry inside it. Wish they opened weekends. There is a lot of parallel with more popular places such as tenacious bakery or lode pies, and those places are busiest on weekend so if they opened on weekend I think it's popularity would go through the roof!

I was excited to try this place and bought an almond croissant. It was $7.50 for a stale and doughy pastry that didn't taste good at all. Pretty disappointed tbh

AVOID this place. Bought a matcha croissant for $7.50 that ended up stale and dry. It was not even real croissant pastry - just dough in the shape of a croissant
