Yorkdale Bus Terminal is a cool place from which you csn go shopping at Yorkdale Mall, catch inter city GO transit buses, or the subway trains going North to Vaughn, South to Union station and the Toronto water front and the TTC local transport. The interesting thing is that for CAD 3/- entrance ticket to the subwayyou can travel to anywhere across Toronto from the Yorkdale bus terminal. "Shop till you drop" is true with shopping at Yorkdale Mall with a variety of restaurants and cuisines. For extended shopping and entertainment the cities of Brampton snd Mississsuga are less than an hour away by Go Transit for CAD 5/- The courteous and helpful transit customer service staff are an added delight at Yorkdale Bus Terminal . The Yorkdale Bus Terminal is open 24/7/365. Hahahaaa
This is great place to change to Greyhound, GO bus, TTC subway and buses. I found it is challenging to find parking early in the morning. Parking is getting more and more expensive over the years. For people who want to find less expensive parking, Vaughan Metro Centre and Hwy 407 subway station may be better off. I prefer Hwy 407 to Vaughan Metro Centre, which is full early in the morning after the big north parking lot is changed to monthly pass parking only and so many people are competing to get into the smaller south parking lot.
Pretty poor signage; it is hard to find where you are supposed to wait/go to catch your Greyhound/Ontario Northlands bus. The terminal itself is also a reminiscent of the infamous Toronto coach terminal - many beggars come through the terminal, and ultimately is has a pretty sketchy feel to it. Nonetheless, it was actually quite cleaner than I would have expected, there are many Presto card stations and monitors displaying bus times, and there is always someone hanging around to ask if you have any questions about the buses.
We listened to a guy on our bus trying to convince a woman that she is his granddaughter. He was drinking beer and calling people to try and score drugs. It was an entertaining trip, and when we got to Yorkdale there was a police officer waiting for him. The guy was also really racist, and started to cry when his "granddaughter" said "white guys are bummy". It was a good bus ride and we got to Toronto quickly.
It's a bus terminal that serves its purpose. GO busses, and I think some other lines like Greyhound and other northern lines run through here. Be sure to check the electronic board to find your bus and platform. Platforms are sheltered from rain and snow for the most part but are still outside so be sure to dress for the colder weather as wind can be pretty cold.
First of all the travelling is fun.The buses are spacious and comfortable and clean.Arrival at the Terminal is efficient. The service to retrieve your luggage was on the money. The bus driver was friendly and professional. The terminal has Security and you feel safe while waiting to transfer buses. This Terminal is huge.Lots of people travelling to their destination.
About 2 months ago, I was searching for a place to reload my Presto card. Finally, I was directed to go to this station, which is below the Yorkdale Mall. The male customer service was patient and nice enough to help me by reloading and answering questions. Later on, I took a GO transit to arrive at my destination on time.
It's hard to find on my way from subway station. Very complicated. Must have sign with Go transit I suggest inside the subway. Friendly staff. Clean place with washroom. Not much busy may be because easter. Inside the terminal much facilitate for the services with screens and seats.
I just have the worse experience from Go Transit, buses are hardly ever on time, have a 30 mins gap and to make it worse, a bus driver (32 to York dale) just drove past me while I was waving from the bus stop. ( 6:05 AM, 31/08 , Yonge Street @Thornridge Dr)
The area is still under construction but the terminal is functional without delays. Ticket booth attendants are really polite and helpful. Can't wait to see the terminal when everything is completed.
It's huge, covers a vast land and is accessible easily. Yorkdale bus terminal and subway are just adjacent to it. Pretty much all the big clothing and food brands present.
GO BUS IS DEFINITELY FAST AND SAFE TRIP. Thank you guys! Coz it took only 17mins. from Bramalea, Brampton until here at Yorkdale, Toronto in the midst of a snow storm.
The pathetic amount of time it is taking for the repairs of this location to be completed I unbelievable. The escalators and stair have been closed for years.
Bad experience.... Always don't have tags for luggage..... i lost my luggage because of them. Nobody is taking the responsibility to solve my issue.....
has indoor sitting, up to date arrival times, on site personnels in a booth to answer all your questions, easy to navigate
Staff was nice. But the driver is the worst. How can a female driver called a customer stupid? Such a bad experience.
Pretty decent bus station - sometimes have trouble finding what terminal door I'm looking for though.
A bit tricky to find this place for newcomers. But once you know this area is all good.
Clean washrooms, convenient passage to the mall, bike racks, coffee and snack dispensers
Best part is all the buses are on Time. Staff is very helpful and cooperative
Great service from drivers and ticket agents but washrooms were disgusting!
Nestled in Yorkdale Mall, a good choice for commuters and shoppers alike.
Bastante peculiar, esta estación se encuentra debajo de Yorkdale Mall.
I was in and out really fast. Didn't have to go through thevTerminal
Well organized, served neatly and easy navigation through.
They sold me the wrong ticket and was not helpful at all!
Main changing station for Greyhound, TTC, Go and Subway.
Washrooms are always disgusting
Very convenient taking GO Bus
