If you want to be racially profiled go to this Zales. I went in this store around 5:30 pm 7/1/23. There were only 2 customers and 2 sales associates. They seemed to be showing the customers engagement rings. Anyway I asked the woman associate could she show me some ankle bracelets. She immediately takes me to silver ankle bracelets (mind you I had gold on my wrists, ears and neck). I said why would you assume I wanted silver with all the GOLD I have on, she apologized and said she wasn't paying attention. Then she shows me the 3 gold ankle bracelets they had and mentioned they had one on clearance, uh excuse me! Did I ask for clearance jewelry? I flat out asked are you offering me silver and clearance items because Im black? Oh no was her response, but she was. Had I been white, she would have 1st asked what was I looking for as far as gold or silver and she NEVER would have offered clearance items. I would have gotten the same respect that the white customers that were there when I got there was getting. Mind you they had both the associates (her being one of them) helping them. Message to whoever the manager is at this store, train your associates. This one made me feel bad, angry, sad and hurt in our less than 10 minute interaction. If zero was a star, you would have it. This was the 2nd time a Zales let me down (first time in another state). You got me twice, no 3rd time. 7/5/23 update. Tried calling the manager Courtney today and was told she wasn't there and rudely hung up on when I asked when she would be there. In person and on the phone, trash unfortunately.

Please, don’t shop this location. I read the reviews, and tried it anyway due to them having a ring I wanted in store, and have been repeatedly inconvenienced and a recipient of extremely poor customer service. When I originally arrived to pick up my wedding bands, there was a stone missing from each of them. After returning them for repair, I was notified to come pick them up, and only one ring was ready when I arrived. The staff didn’t seem to care about the inconvenience of me having it come in multiple times, or why I was expecting both rings to be ready since they were dropped off together. After obtaining the one band which was ready, the following day the same issue of a stone coming out occurred again. I decided to drop it off at a different location and have the other ring also delivered there and the Steinway location DID NOT overnight the ring to the other location as I requested. I called at least three times weeks apart, and was still ultimately inconvenienced again and forced to come back to this location to pick up my ring. I am extremely dissatisfied and had these rings not been associated with a joyful milestone in my life, I would have requested a refund and taken my business elsewhere - as I strongly suggest that you do.

DO NOT go to this place. I went last year in early March the guy told me the ring would be ready by April 20th. The ring wasn’t ready till middle of May. This was an engagement ring , I was told in advance that the ring would be ready by April 20th. I went to the store and the guy that sold it to me walks out the store just to avoid me. He never came back in the store till AFTER I left. It’s because of this I’m no longer with my girlfriend we broke up because of this incident. ZALES never emailed me or called to update me that the ring would be ready at a later date, so I had to find out in store. I haven’t been the same since, I got my money back (over 6k) but what’s the point if the love of your life isn’t in your life anymore? Thanks for ruining everything ZALES. The worst experience I ever had! I really dislike ZALES especially the location on Stineway, thanks for destroying everything.

I would like to thank Courtney and Alexa with assistanting me on purchasing my new watch. They went above and beyond to make sure I selected the perfect watch and I appreciate their patience with me. My transaction was not a normal one, but they worked with me until it finally went through and with great attitudes. I had a wonderful experience and I would highly recommend the Asoria Queens NY location. This will be my main location for all my future purchases.

My first experience in Zales in Astoria and I met Courtney who welcomed me and took her time with me with her obvious expertise in diamonds and gold. Courtney made me feel sure of what I was about to do and went above and beyond in making sure I fully understood everything she was explaining to me. I will be sure to make Zales my #1 choice! The experience was amazing!!!

I went in hear to look around , hoping to buy some jewlery it's a total scam someone tried to sell me a braclet costing $2k which was gold plated and 10k , if you know you know , but that shouldn't have been the true price of the bracelet if you consider the gold spot price and that it also bearly had any gold in it

I had a lovely experience at this location, I wasn’t really sure what I was going to get since I was gift shopping. But associate Shawn was very helpful and we looked through what seemed like the entire inventory until I found the perfect piece. Will definitely visit this location again.
