I loved my experience with eLaw. Practice-wise, the lawyers and the manager at this firm are incredibly professional, knowledgeable, and responsive. More importantly, I honestly think they care about their clients, which I find it's hard to come across in this field from my experience. I've been recommending this firm to all of my friends, and now they all know where to find an amazing family lawyer if they ever need one... (Hopefully, they never need one, but just in case...) A side note, I did do my limited "research" before I decided to choose eLaw. I booked free consultation sessions with at least five law offices/firms. I also read the Family Law Act, Matrimonial Property Act, and some other online resources before my consultations, just so I could be somewhat "prepared". And my consultation with eLaw was the most informative and "no BS" one I had. I couldn't recommend eLaw enough. Janan is not only a fantastic lawyer but also an exceptional mentor. I consider myself incredibly fortunate to have had the opportunity to be one of several students Janan has given a chance to shadow her. I accompanied her to morning chambers, along with another student earlier today. I have also had the privilege of spending a day with her in the office, where she conducted several complimentary telephone consultations, each lasting up to one hour. As far as I know, this is the only practice in Edmonton that offers this type of consultation for up to one hour. I used them for family services and had a horrible experience. billed over 5k to a single dad to nothing and then ditched me when I had trouble keeping the retainer amount up. Back to square 0 but without anymore money left to fight. Tons of options for lawyers in Edmonton, please don't use this one. FUNNY HOW EVERYONE IS SO QUICK TO ANSWER WHEN ITS ON GOOGLE !!!
